Great seafood and malwani cuisine. Pangat is one of the very few restaurants that serve this cuisine in the Borivali / Kandivali area. This place is mostly always crowded and there is a queue outside, so make sure you plan accordingly. The fish thali is very filling with a really nice curry. Fried Surmai was tasty but was slightly dry. The Solkadi could've been better. Fast & responsive service with staff that know the dishes well. The ambience has a lovely old school vibe to it although it can get crowded.

Crab was not fresh. Prawns masala and shrimps were very tasty. Again visited after a year or so. No change in ambiance. Same amazing taste of Prawns masala and Shripms masala. Bombil fry and prawns fry were standard. Also tried chicken wing barbecue which was delicious. This time tried Surmai Thali, Surmai was fresh, fish curry was delicious. Solecurry was good. Reasonable price. Parking is an issue. No choice of sweet dish. Service was quick, waiters was very understanding and cool. Sitting arrangement is bit clumsy, but manageable.

One of the best Maharashtrian-style seafood places in Mumbai! Must try: Surmai thali (or any fish thali) Bombil/kolambi fry Chicken vade Great place to take your family out for dinner! But make sure to leave early because there's waiting pretty much all the time. Also, the place closes in the afternoon at 3-4 til the evening, so call before going.

Best place for non-veg especially seafood. We tried surmai and Macarel thali, bombil fry, prawns fry, chicken masala and vade (puri made of multigrain), solkadi & swet kharwas. Everything was awesome and perfect. Also tried mandeli fry fish which was crispy and tasty.

This restaurant is famous for all the Fish Items. Little expansive food but worth the money 🤑 We ordered one veg thali and one Fish thali (surmai) Both thali tasted too good and definitely I'd recommend anyone who craves for fish thali in Borivali East.

PANGAT! A place to take your family and loved ones to enjoy some amazing delicious marathi home style food. The prawns and fish are fresh and yum the chicken well cooked and the solkadi is super! The staff is super friendly and if in doubt what to order they have great suggestions and will bring you the best food no question asked! Do try the malwani chicken with wada and amboli! The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Hope you ENJOY!

I’ve never had crabs so fresh anywhere in a restaurant! I tried the crab masala and it was very very good. The surmai thali was great. Though we went late so they had run out of solkadi and ghavan. It also seemed like the thali had a few missing items (probably because we were late so cannot really blame the restaurant). For dessert we tried the kharvas and it’s highly recommended!

Fish lovers must visit this place. Love their Malvani fish dishes along with their new dishes like Fish popcorn and crab lollipop. They are just yumm..must try. Ambience is really nice. Soothing. Decor is superb. Their seafood dishes r awesome. If u plan for dinner on weekends then plan in well advance as they have too much rush on weekends. Too much waiting time if reach after 9 pm. So better plan in advance.

When it comes to Malwani or Konkani seafood cuisine, the name of Pangat absolutely shines through. The restaurant also has Chinese and North Indian food on their menu. One has to wait for some time to get a table here as the place almost always has a lot of patrons waiting. The seating is very comfortable with cushioned chairs & sofas and large wooden tables. Service staff is very knowledgeable about their menu and the place was hygienic as well. We decided to order Bombil Thali, Surmai Thali, Chicken Thali, Bombil Fry and Butter Garlic Prawns. All the thalis had chapati or vade, steamed rice, chutney and solkadhi alongwith two other elements of either curry, masala or fried of the main ingredient of thali. Thali was more than satisfying for a single person, value for money, absolutely authentic and flavourful. Butter garlic prawns were simply scrumptious and the excellent combination of butter and garlic worked its magic really well. Prawns were perfectly cooked and fresh..🤤

The ambience here is great, waiting time is moderate, food taste delicious, absolutely value for money, the waiters here don't serve the food. A must try for non veg lovers. The Mughlai and malvani cuisine both were awesome. They also have a branch in borivali (West).,but this branch is better.
