Got it home delivered from the Mumbai Central outlet. Delivery was a little slow.

Spice is very popular place among Chinese lovers. There are many Chinese shops with lowest prices to costly. But if you want to have a decent price and best quality with top taste then this is the place. Here all the food has great taste and the quality is top notch. We ordered chicken tripple rice and veg tripple rice and both the rice were very tasty and delicious and even the quantity of full rice was very good and best quality!!!. The packing was very professional and the delivery was also on time!!!! The only thing that tickles me is.....they dont provide gravy with rice. Mosr of the chinese places have rice with gravy ( be it thick or thin). They have gravy but you have to pay extra for it.
Five spices is one of the best outlet. This is best place to visit with the friends and family. This outlet is best for Chinese lover. They have a variety of Chinese dishes. The Ambience of this place is quite pretty. Staff are so helpful and cooperative. service is so fast. Great seating arrangement.

This place is in one of the lanes opposite Asiatic Library, behind the old building of Reserve bank of India, probably the first 5 spice to have opened. We ordered the Burnt Chilli Garlic Rice and paired it up with Red Hot Dragon Chicken , both 4/5.
Also ordered the Veg Burnt Garlic Rice, Mixed vegetable gravy and machurain gravy which was decent 3/5.
Death by chocolate 4/5.
I've been to this place as well, they have really good service with good knowledge of the menu and well versed with their suggestions. It has both as and non AC seating and serve alcohol as well.
The quantity of the rice is big and can be had by 3 people in one order.
All in all , worth the buck! :)

I have been seeing 5 Spice restaurants in many places in Mumbai and have heard that they give a very good quantity of food.
Chilli Chicken: The taste of chili chicken was very good and just like a good chicken chili dish in a good restaurant. The taste was not too spicy or sweet. The chicken was well cooked and tender. The overall taste of the dish was very good and one of the good chili chicken I have had. The quantity of the dish was not much considering what I have heard and looking at the cost. 4.5/5 on taste.

Good place to go when you have people who love eating. We ordered chicken crispy, kung pao potato and pot rice. Could not eat dessert because we were already full with the starters and main course. Taste and quantity was great. Ambience in good. Overall a good experience. Next time 'Mission Impossible' on my list for dessert.

This mountain dessert of @5spice is a huge chocolate mousse cake with two scoops of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce on it. As usual too good food. Had ordered burnt chilli rice and it was too good. The delivery was prompt. You can have anything from this place and its definitely too good.
The location is very convenient, being right on the main road and at a walking distance from Mumbai Central station. The place is pretty small, and the tables are kind of cramped up with hardly much space to move in between.
5 Spice is known to serve humongous quantity of food. And on top of that, we happened to order a lot of dishes! So yeah, there were lots of leftovers but the staff was happy to pack them for us, so nothing was wasted.

I found the food, in general, to be too oily. And Chinese food doesn't necessarily have to be bombarded with too much spices to make it more palatable. If they can tone the oil and the spices down, I think their quality would be much better.
Located 10 mins away from Mumbai Central railway station, 5 Spice has around 12 outlets around Mumbai. They're pretty well known for their Asian cuisine all over Mumbai & is surely my 'to go' place to satisfy my Chinese food.
The ambience is pretty much the same as other outlets. They have an outdoor seating as well as air conditioning seating which is a bit limited.
Coming over to the food :
The menu isn't too complicated as one easily identify the dish by its name.

3)Prawn Chilly Basil
4)Chicken Mongolian Pot Rice (Highly recommended)
One might find the menu to be a bit hard on the pockets but their portion quantity does justice to it. Their food portions are pretty big with amazingly balanced flavors.
Last but not the least, we summed up our meal with the famous 'Mission Impossible'

It consist of raw grinded watermelon pecies with lime which were served with watermelon pecies. The taste of watermelon with lime make it refreshing and delicious.
PACIFIC BLUE:-
It consist of cranberry juice with blue fruit lime. It was attractive and taste of mocktails was sweet and the taste of lime make it more better.
CRISPY THREAD CHICKEN:-
There was a huge amount of threaded chicken pecies which was crunchy from outside and soft from inside. The softness of chicken pecies make your mouth watery instantly.
RED PEPPER PRAWN:-
The spicy prawn with red pepper flakes and other ingredients which make it hot spicy and the taste of prawn was delicious enough an perfect sea food.
APPLE CHICKEN:-
It was chicken lollipop which were dipped in sweet gravy. It was hot spicy from inside and sweety taste from outside and perfect combination of taste.
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE:-
It consist of one huge chocolate cake and two vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup on it. It is enough for three person. The taste of chocolate cake with chocolate syrup was yummy. The presentation of dessert was soo attractive to make your mouth watery.

Overall my experience with 5Spice is good enough. Must visit it with family.
5 Spice is a great restaurant when you want to satisfy your oriental cravings. Got a chance to visit one of their outlet in Mumbai Central in a weekday.
With the ambience they have not experimented a lot and have kept rather simple. Staff also get their points for quick and great service.
From amongst Mocktails do try Cranberry Cooler, Summer Bliss, Pacific Blue and my all time favourite Pink Lady.
Coming to the starters Red Chilly Pepper Chicken, Apple Chicken, Prawns Chilly Basil and BBQ Chicken were amazing. For vegetarians I would suggest Chilly Crispy Potato and Red Hot Paneer.
For mains do not miss their Mangolian Pot Rice and Chicken Sizzling Noodles.
5 Spice never disappoints when it comes to desserts. Cheese Cake was marvellous but the show stopper was Rocky Road - brownie served with Ice Cream and full of nuts....Highly Recommended !!!

Visited this outlet with a large group of 15 people. There are two sections indoors and outdoors. Do opt for indoor ac section as there is metro work going on the outside.

CRISPY THREAD CHICKEN:-It was augmented with bean thread noodles, green onions, fried shallots, shredded chicken, and other crispy condiment. It is the best starter in this restaurant.
APPLE CHICKEN:- The basic idea of the chicken lollipop is to cut the meat around the base of the chicken wing drummette.These are Crispy Chicken Lollipops with a sweet and spicy sauce.
PACIFIC BLUE MOJITO:-It is the mixture of blue fruit punch and cranberry juice. It was very delicious and is worth the money.
WATERMELON BOOSTER MOJITO:- This refreshing watermelon juice is the best summer drink and it was made up of fresh water melon juice.
DARK CHOCOLATE OREO CAKE:-It is a moist chocolate cake full of Oreo icing! It was very delicious and best dessert.

I had an amazing experience here. It is located very near to the Mumbai Central railway station. Has AC and non-AC dining option with dimly yet pleasantly lit space. They also have a climb-up seating area which seemed quite comfy. The Chinese dishes are authentic and the quantity is incredible.

Had gone there for for dinner it was a well lit place and we were surrounded by people who had come there for dinner. The place served some really cool Chinese stuff along with some Indian delicacies or I should say Indo Chinese dishes.
After we were seated we ordered for a round of starters which included a red pepper chicken, prawns chilli basil and teriyaki fish. We ordered for a round of mocktails also which where very normal in taste. After we were done with our mocktails and starters we place the order for the main course. We ordered for Sapochicken, chicken burnt Chilli rice and chicken 5 Spice noodles. Everything was really delicious but what surprised us was the quantity which they serve. It was enough for 3-4 persons. Our final order was the desserts there. Where we had heard about a very famous dessert at 5 Spice which was the Rocky Road so we ordered that one and along with it we ordered Mission Impossible which was really impossible to finish by 2 people.
Overall we had a lot of fun in this place and we really enjoy the food that they serve we even got some food parcel as it was left. Will surely visit 5spice again for some more fun and Chinese food.

5 spice is one of the well known Indo chinese serving restaurant in the town since long, recently we visited the Mumbai central branch of 5 spice as we were close to the station and mood was drooling over chinese. The restaurant has a good classy appeal with mise en place and good table setup with an amazing atmosphere. 5 spice offers 2 sections of floors as you can choose to sit either on upper section or lower. Coming on to food we ordered
1] Spice girl: Refreshing drink with good colours and taste. There was lack of garnish on the drink as it was not so presentable but tasted good
2] lemon mojito: mint leaves mashed in lemon and coconut monin with soda. A classic mocktail to start with
3] Red pepper chicken: It was spicy and bit tangy, the chicken was coated properly in sauce but was bit chewy. Combined with sauted bell peppers the dish turned out to be delicious
4] Teriyaki fish dry: juicy and tender peices of fish that melts in your mouth coated in teriyaki sauce! Little on a sweeter side but tasty enough to complete whole platter . This should be tried once here!
5] Roast chicken with vegetables: A big platter of roasted and seasoned chicken on a bed of batter fried veggies like baby corn, broccoli and cauliflower. Mixture of veg and non veg this platter was fingerlicking good. The balance of chicken and veggies were in good quantity and portion
6] Sapo chicken: Delicious spicy chicken gravy with a touch of chilly sauces in it. Ideally good for the main course to be eaten with rice and noodles. Sapo chicken was mine personal favourite
7] Chicken 5 spice noodles: The house special spice mixed noodles accompanied by its own manchurian gravy is a must try. A good experience of authentic noodles.
8] Chicken burnt chilly rice: burnt garlic rice with chilly chicken. The rice was fluffy and tasty with right amount of seasoning. This was absolutely delicious and like the taste.
9] Rocky road: This is one of the desserts you should try here. Delicious chocolate and vanilla mixed dessert with scoops of ice cream and loaded with dry fruits, you cannot resist eating it completely
10] Mission impossible: Mission impossible is knownly the show stellar, the famous dessert of 5 spice which is not even available in some of its outlet, we got to try it here. I must say it was totally a chocolate heaven upon tasting it. Layers of chocolate in sponge cake with icing and scoops of vanilla ice cream that melts in your mouth! Must try this

When in a mood to just eat good food and in good quantity without bothering about ambience and booz(once in a while :p). Then this is the place to be! A pure family restaurant having its chain of restaurants in different parts of Mumbai. We Had gone with a bunch of friends to this family restaurant.... We had ordered the following:-

Orange sour
Ecstasy Island
Mama Mojito
I really liked the juicy bird , and orange sour.

Sapo chicken

Chicken Thai pot noodles
The above Chinese dishes had good taste, i specially liked , chicken Thai pot noodles , they were goey, something which even two people can't share and finish, it would need four people to finish that humongous quantity.
Thus the reason this place is perfect for big family dines ,where one can order 1 rice dish , 1 lentil or gravy , bread basket and 1 dry veggie and a family of 4-8 will be able to finish it.!

I have always had a feeling, good family restaurants like these are good for Indian food and Chinese food but they would be like lacking in dessert section. But to my surprise the Rocky Road and Mission Impossible took me by surprise. 1stly I was assuming probably falooda,gulab jamun and brownie must be in their menu, but these two dishes were something you can't finish alone! Again the quantity of dessert too was huge !
Rocky road had oodles of dry fruits to it, especially roasted cashew nuts ,had ice cream and brownie .
Mission impossible,having heard alot about it before coming here, the plate had this huge pyramid chocolate cake piece,which felt like a 400gm cake itself,served along with vanilla ice cream, it looked promising,but they could work on the quality of the cake a little as it seemed slightly sour.(maybe it was a day like that)! But worth ordering.
Overall a good family restaurant , worth every penny.!

Chinese food cravings are too difficult satisfy especially when you are looking for some authentic chinese food. By jotting down few joints specializing in authentic chinese ofcourse with some Indian twist I decided to go with 5 Spice who have several joints across Mumbai and as I was near to Mumbai Central I decided try the joint at that particular location. Its 5-10min walking distance from Mumbai Central, Landmark would be next to City Centre Mall.
The ambience is okayish with ground+1, few tables can accommodate outdoor as well.
So I started off with Mocktails, which were-
Dragon Twist
Ecstasy Island
Lemon Mojito **recommended**
Juicy Bird
Moving on to starters, I tried-
Prawns Chilly Basil - The best I liked about this dish is the fresh prawns sautéed properly in sauces. The taste of Basil leaf could be clearly felt in the dish.
Red Pepper Chicken - Deep fried chunks of chicken coated with corn flour and dipped in red szechwan sauce was delicious. The taste is tangy and a bit spicy **recommended**
Teriyaki Fish Dry - Soft Basa fish was well sautéed in teriyaki sauce and was sizzlingly presented in sizzlers plate.
Roasted Chicken with Vegetables - Shredded chicken mixed well in soy sauce and exotic vegetables was just mind blowing **recommended**
Moving on to Main Course -
Dragon Chicken Fried Rice - Medium spicy chicken fried rice with chunks of chicken, scattered pieces of omelette & fried onions was just the best one for the night. The good thing was you can actually feel the spices while eating like the fried kashmiri mirch for spiciness & star anise for a bit of sweet taste to balance simply how it should be **recommended**
Chicken Thai Pot Noodle - The reason to visit an authentic chinese restaurant is the use of exotic veggies in the food. Gravy consisted babycorn, different colored capsicum, red cabbage was just amazing and hidden beneath the layer of gravy was noodles which went well with gravy.
Chicken 5 Spice Noodles - Just the normal hakka noodles is what I can explain it in simple words.
Now that I was done with the main course, what I was craving for was THE DESERTS
Rocky Road - Piece of Brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and loads of roasted cashews was simply amazing **recommended**
Mission Impossible - It literally stands by its name & is actually impossible to finish. Large piece of chocolate served vanilla ice cream is one of the 5 Spice's signature desert.
Overall 5 Spice just need to work on the ambience as it feels kinda dull. In terms of food they are really good, also the quantity & quality of food justifies the money that you pay.
So if Authentic Chinese is in your mind simply head to 5 Spice they are one of the best in it.

Located just at a walking distance from Mumbai central station, this restaurant is easy to find due to huge sign board! Coming on to the ambience, the restaurant was having a pleasant atmosphere and cool vibe. Good seating area of lower level and upper level with full air conditioning. We relish upon the following:
• Mocktails •
1] Spice girl: A refreshing drinks with good visual presentation and flavour of lemon and peach infused with soda.
2] Dragon twist: Strawberry flavour mocktail with quite good flavour and taste that freshen ups the palate for other course.
3] Lemon mojito: Classic lemon mojito infused with mint, lemonade and soda with coconut monin. Good to start with
• Appetisers •
1] Red Pepper Chicken: spicy tangy chicken sauted with bell peppers and dark sauce. This was very delicious, the chicken was little chewy but tasty. Bell peppers were giving the crisp element perfect to munch on.
2] Prawns chilly basil: Prawns cooked in chilly sauce with onions and basil, it was little sweet but the prawns were cooked perfect just as it should be. Good idea to infused the flavour of basil in dish
3] Teriyaki fish dry: Moist juicy peices of basa fish cooked in teriyaki sauce, spicy and tangy with bellpeppers and onions was a good starter. I personally like the fish as it was very soft and juicy from inside and tasted good!
• Main course •
1] Roast chicken with Vegetables: A platter of roast chicken on the bed of crisp fried vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, bellpeppers and babycorn. This portion of maincourse was good enough for 2-3 people. The flavours were delicious and this dish was very good!
2] Sapo chicken: Delicious spicy red gravy of chicken with authentic Chinese flavours and spices was very delicious the seasoning was right and the chicken was cooked properly, mosit and tender from inside. Accompanied by its gravy it tasted well. The quantity was humangeous in size!!
• Rice and noodles •
1] Chicken 5 spice noodles: Spiced chicken stir fried noodles was absolutely tasty and amazingly mouthwatering taste! Could not resist it eating all, it was so tasty. This noodles was accompanied by its own side chicken manchurian gravy which was also a delice!
2] Chicken burnt chilly rice: Fried rice in garlic and chilly, the spicy taste of rice hits well on tongue and tasted delicious. The portion size was very good, easily sufficient for 2-3 people at a time!
• Desserts •
1] Rocky road: Mouthwatering desserts loaded with full of dry fruits and ice cream this is a must try here. The dessert was well presented and we were literally drooling over its taste
2] Mission impossible: The one and only famous dessert which you cannot miss to have is this!! Mission impossible is absolute show stellar! Layered chocolate cake which has its own delectable taste served with vanilla ice cream! You simply cannot ignore it!!

The food tasted well, there was a small lack in service, where they need to improve but the staff was polite and generous at the time too, Its always a good experience to enjoy chinese cuisine here ad they surely became a maestro in serving chinese cuisine over a period of time. Will love to visit again surely.....

I tried the many Chinese restaurant outlets in Mumbai, specially I am from those who love Chinese recipes. Now 5 spice become my first choice to have Chinese food & party's. It's located in Prime location in Mumbai central area near from Mumbai central railway station. Here you can find large number of seating area. The hotel is decide in 3 parts normal ground top & there is also outside seating area. But it's better to seat in inside of hotel because some times there is lots of traffic sound & noise on the road it's irritating.
Ambeince: it's an authentic Chinese restaurant. Their interior decoration is brilliant and like Chinese theme. Some paintings and written letters on walls makes it more presentable. Container & dishes glasses are properly washed.
This is first time I tried 5spice with my some other foodies & we tried the following items here.
🔵 MOCKTAILS 🍹
• Lemon Mojito
It's regular refreshing mojito drink with superb lime flavours. It's cool & refreshing enough as a drink. Sweet & Sprite flavour makes it more amazing.
• ECSTASY Island Mojito
This is highlight mojito drink. You should go for it. There is unique flavour in this mojito. It's an Pink colour drink which looks amazing. This one is my favorite now.
•Dragon Twist
Mojito drink with dragon twist. There is some more combination in mixing flavour you can't even guess the ingredients. It's brilliant.
🔵 STARTERS 🍟
• Roast Chicken With Vegtable
It's our regular chicken peices with some fried and boil vegetables. Actually this one is best for starters as a normal. It's marinated in perfect sauces and soft & hot.
• RED Pepper Chicken
It's my favorite dish here. All the chicken peices are properly abled and spicy. Spicy food lovers have best option for this as a starter go for it. There are plenty of chicken bites and all are great in taste.
• Prawn Chilly Basil
Prawns lover should go for this. It's spicy and crisp. Same as like you want .
• Teriyaki Fish Fry.
It's like hot sizzler fish starter. It comes with some vegetables & hot dish pices. All the fish piece are perfectly bakes and hot. You will love the taste of it. But finish this recipe before it's get cool.
*all the starters are good here specially teriyaki fish fry & red pepper chicken are superb.

*Here I like to mention that their quantity for main course items is more than enough. So finish it on your own risk.
• Chicken 5Spice Noodles
It's their signature dish. Quantity is great their are lots of little chicken peices in noodles. And some veggies. Noodles are properly baked and properly mix in their sauces. It's speciality dish . If you are trying noodels then go for this dish.
• Dragon Chicken Rice
It's an unique fried rice dish. Dragon Chicken as name suggest there are some secret sauces mix in it. Rice quality is very good. And taste is little bit similar to our chicken chopper rice. It's best to try this rice once.
🔵 DESSERT ITEMS 🍰
• ROCKY ROAD (*highly recommended)
If you are in this hotel then after your meal don't miss this Dessert. It's and brilliant2 Dessert I ever had. It's include the yummy cake Vanilla ice cream as well as some dry furites on it. It looks normal Dessert but taste like heaven. You should try this. Never miss this experience. Favourite ♥️
• Mission Impossible
Actually as the name suggest it's the large bite of yummy chocolate cake you can't finish your own. You need at least 3/4 people's to finish this dessert. It comes with vanilla ice cream. It's an awesome dish.
Overa my experience here is pretty awesome.therie is no any miss behavior and bad stuff in staff. All the waiters are also properly inform and active members. My ratings are following.

5 spice has been the go to Desi Chinese restaurant for us ever since decades. The taste of the food hasn't changed even a bit. It's an amazing place to meal with your family and loved ones. What i absolutely have always loved is - Manchow Soup, Crispy Thread Chicken/Paneer, Hunan Chicken, Chicken Lollipops, Death by Chocolate & Rocky Road.
5 spice services are friendly & the ambience is decent. It is absolutely cost effective & the totally worth the food quantity.

5 Spice ‘s are known for their spicy Indian Chinese cuisine + generous food portions. It’s a common sight to see people leaving the restaurant with pack-it-up boxes, the portions are such huge. When you are craving for a indo-Chinese night, 5 Spice is your first Port of Call. This outlet at Mumbai Central is relatively younger than the other outlets. The mocktails, mama Mojito lemon mojito dragon twister pina colada cranberry cooler were quite bang-on. The roasted Paneer, the veg hunan pan fried noodles, Thai pepper mushroom were spicy and inviting. And how can a Chinese night out end without a big Fat dessert, we had called for a Rocky Road. It’s seriously a best a man can get 🤣 atleast in gastronomic terms. Overall this is a good place for a Chinese rendezvous!!
I have been here many times, and it has never disappointed with its taste and quality. This place serves scrumptious Chinese food. Do try their Crispy Vegetables, Apple Chicken, Panner Chilly and Peking Rice. Do not give a miss to their delicious dessert. Quantity is good. Rates are fare. Service is good and quick.
Tried their burnt chilly noodles. Awesome taste ! It's spicy .. exactly the way I like it. Other options are great too. You can ask the staff for good options according to your palette. Their suggestions really work.
We finished it with their famous "Death by Chocolate". This dessert really gives justice to its name. Loved it !

This restaurant is especially famous for Chinese cuisine.. We visited for lunch. We tried Paneer Chilli & Paneer Pot Rice... Both were non spicy items... The food was authentic... The quantity was very good & sufficient for 2-3 people... Service was good... Enjoy 🥗🍜☕

This was my second visit for 5 spice.
Would say, main course portion size is good for 4 people.
Started was nicely made and portion size was good for 2 people.
Was here early so got the place without waiting. Post 8 pm you can find this place crowded and there may be a long wait time so plan your visit accordingly.
Worth the price, maybe even more. Don't go here alone. Or you might have to stuff whatever you ordered and still have to take parcel home. Don't say i didn't warn you. I ordered this and had to Uber home with the parcel and had it breakfast for the next day
5 spice is one of the best places to have Chinese food.
We ordered Thai pot rice and we were very satisfied with the food. The quantity and quality is very good as per the cost of the dish.

This place is a vintage outlet to me now. Been going here for almost 6 years. The taste hasn't changed neither has the generous size of portion. Complimentary salad is so good and the Schezwan chutney has been my favourite for long.
This place deserves 5 stars for its taste and value for money. For its Starters, they were really good as always including main course. Their quantity is big which is sufficient for two easily. The only problem with this particular outlet was the service which was very slow and that too on a weekday. Valet parking is available but do try to reach early as there can be long wait. Would recommend 5spice to everyone for its delicious chinese and sumptuous desserts👍
