We were searching for food around chembur,shivanji nagar area and this was what we found.. It had chinese foods which were really good.. We ordered for chicken tikka masala along with naans and rotis.. The food was decent and we enjoyed it..i can give it 4/5

This place is situated at Shivaji Nagar, Govandi. One of the best place for any non-veg hogger as they seem to serve variety in everything be it starters, main course, desserts, everything. However, they don't seem to let go off their vegetarian customers as the veg menu is also well planned.
Tandoori chicken & Shezwan tandoori chicken are the best ones to try. The dishes are priced moderately. Too good in quantity, quality & taste too. The service is also good.

This place is located in Shivaji Nagar Govandi, a place which you would not normally venture out to have food considering the hygiene of the adjoining areas. But looking at a few reviews, ventured to this place to try my luck and was a bit surprised. Rehmani is quite clean and the food is reasonably tasty. The minus point on the food is the oil that comes with it.
I tied the Chicken Rehmani Spl (quite generous portions) and also the Chicken Pulao (again generous quanity); both were reasonably good.
The food was mouthwatering especially the tandoori chicken schezwan is sizzling if anyone visit definitely try this the tandoori roti was very soft and well cooked i am also satisfied with the rates of this hotel the rate was best for the food we get here and the service was also best here it took 5-7 minutes to get our food served. Everything was good at all.

One of the most underrated restaurants in Chembur hands down. Me and my friends drove almost 15 minutes away from our usual place to eat only because I had heard alot about this place and I wanted to visit since we were in Chembur. After a long ride we got ourselves placed in the AC section of the restaurant. The ambience is pretty much ok considering its locality, was very impressed by the gentlemen who served us with his expertise in what we should dig in. He helped us to order Chicken Dhamaka, Panner Makhanwala with six Naans and Jeera Rice to go with it. I was amazed by the quality of service which was prompt and the food which was lip-smacking amazing. All this for Rs.860/- for four of us. I am definitely coming again to this place and try their Afghani section. Visit here for Good food which does not pinch your pocket much. Happy Feasting!
P.S you have to be ace in navigating to get to this place.

Splendid restaurant for inexpensive yet delicious food. They have an average ambience but it's very neat and tidy. One might need Google maps to locate this restaurant.
Just like many other North Indian Restaurants in New Delhi and Mumbai, they serve Indian version of Afghan Cuisine.
A lot of North Indian breads were adapted from Persia and Afghanistan.
Naan literally means bread. The Tandoori Roti here is pretty close to Obi an Uzbek-style bread, although the latter is made from maize and it's four times bigger is size. Lavash is often found in many restaurants which call it Roti or Naan though they are distinctly different.
We tried the Kabuli Mutton (lamb cooked with Kabuli Chana in a mildly spicy gravy) and the Afghani Mutton (lamb cooked in rich creamy gravy which is mildly spiced and the meat is served inside an egg omelette). Both were well prepared and served piping hot.
The food is often accompanied by Torshi (Persian - various pickled fruits {.g. peach, lemon, carrot, raw mango and garlic} served in vinegar and salt) which is spiced up in India to suite the local taste.
You also get delicious Pulaos here (originally Polo - Persian dish). Once again, few serve the traditional version. The Indian version is overpowered by spices. Polo is traditionally a very important parts of a meal, and therefore much time and attention is given to cook it.
Do try the Mutton Korma (originally Ghormeh - Persian dish) here, which is a stew or casserole, usually served with Lavash or Polo rice. Almost all the Korma preparations are onion-based; onions are fried, then meat added, including a variety of fruits, spices, and vegetables, depending on the local recipe. The onion is strictly caramelized and creates a richly colored stew. There are over 200 Kormas.
We really missed the Kebabs here. You do get Chicken Reshmi Kebab, Chicken Pahari Kebab and Fish Tandoori. They also serve delicious Chicken Kebab based curries. Check out their Chicken Balti, Chicken Seekh Masala and Chicken Afghani Boneless. Afghan Kebabs are different. The most widely used meat is lamb. Recipes differ with every restaurant. Traditionally kebab is served with Naan and Pickled vegetables. Let's hope to see more Lamb Kebabs.
Most of the items are honestly priced. You get what you pay for. A big meal for four with starters, main course and a couple of Cokes would cost you 500 bucks.

Recently tried out this place with friends was not disappointed . Although not high on ambiance and service still it is nice clean place I would suggest the a/c seating for comfortable experience . The plus point is food . A non vegetarians delight has good menu of north indian or mughlai preparations . Chinese and other menu is decent not great.
Must try chicken dhamaka (combination oftwo gravies red and green) tandoori roti, chicken baltee , chicken tikka biryani also in dessert caramel custard is worth a try. Staff can do lot better with service and guidance but for their prices it's still a steal.
If you are in chembur with friends don't want to spend much and looking for good non veg food then this is a must try place as 6 people can eat stomach full @ 800 which is dirt cheap. Will strongly recommend their Schengen tandoori chicken and reshmi kebab

Food : i had ordered a pahadi chicken kebab and chicken tikka masala which was unavailable :'( hence settled for butter chicken besides this had chicken lollipop tikka masala tasted good with right amount of spice and flavours chciken pahadi was grilled very and was tender would have loved to taste it with green chilli chutney but again NOT AVAILABLE .i also took parce of chicken kadai back home which was quoted as tasting moderate by my family members

Service: tables were clean glasses filled regularly and orders were reaching on time no complaints in this regard whatsover

If you really need tasty food in any of the Restaurants, you don't give a damn about rich interiors, nicely dressed Staff. The quality and quantity of food is great at affordable price. what else do you need ? Best thing is that they are providing Tandoori Roti's of wheat not maida.

This is the excellent non veg restaurant in Govandi. We tried Chicken Reshmi & Chicken Korma the taste was awesome. Finally we ordered Caramel Custard in the desert which had a very unique taste. The price was very reasonable so you don't need to worry about the bill.Just enjoy your meal.
