A Decent Spot with Tasty Food! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Tastings Chembur and had a delightful experience overall. The food was quite impressive, especially the Paav Bhaji and Chinese dishes which were absolutely delicious. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from ice creams to juices, catering to diverse tastes. The only minor drawback I noticed was the outdoor seating arrangement. Depending on your preference, the proximity to the Diamond Garden bus stop might be a bit distracting due to the flow of people waiting for their buses. However, if you're willing to overlook this aspect, you're in for a treat with the scrumptious offerings. The location is convenient, being situated near the famous Diamond Garden bus stop. This accessibility brings a mix of folks, and it's interesting to see the lively atmosphere. If you're someone who enjoys exploring places with diverse crowds, this could be a plus! In conclusion, Tastings Chembur is a decent place with some great food options. Despite the outdoor seating situation, I found the food experience to be worth a visit. If you're a food enthusiast looking for a variety of flavors, this place might just hit the spot. Note: This review is based on my personal experience and preferences. Your mileage may vary.

This Cute outdoor-seating Cafe is situated next to the famous Diamond Garden that every Chemburkar is aware of. The cafe has very basic menu with decent number of options for everyone. I tried their Vegetable Toast Sandwich and it was lovely. It is a good spot for catching up with some college buddies where you can sit for hours sipping juices or nibbling on finger food items.

One of the Finest Place serving CHINESE and Specially the Pav Bhajis. We tried Cheese Pav Bhaji and it was really good. Can be a bit more of quantity but was fine as per the price. Quite reasonable pricing too. We loved the Quality of Food and the Taste. Kitchen had proper hygine and staff were wearing mask too A Real HIDDEN Gem in Chembur serving such tasty Fast food since last 33 years. Sone pe suhagaa was the Faluda and Sizzling Brownie😍🔥 A Highly recommended place!

It's one of the most refreshing place in Chembur to have a quick snack with friends. I have tried the club sandwich very basic yet delicious. The tastings special sandwhich is huge and tasty will easily full 2 ppl so if u are very hungry go for tastings special sandwhich. The cold coffe is good but little expensive. U can celebrate birthdays over here. The staff is courteous and helpful. An amazing place to spend a beautiful evening ❤️

It is a very cosy place very much visible from the main road you will get fast snacks and juices here and very much affordable price it will be a nice place to wait for your buses. Situated near Yogi Restaurant a major landmarks here. Prices are also affordable. What is good for couples family and friends. Will get a wide variety of cakes here. The staff is very helpful and supportive. Overall well deserved 5 stars.

Cold coffee It was too good.. coffee was very think and absolutely best in taste. 4/5 Chocolate shake It was good, but very sweet, I want it to be little less sweet so that chocolate taste can be better taken. 3/5 Mashroom burger It was for the first time I ate it. Was good in taste and well made served with chips. 4/5 Panner Tikka sandwich It was too yummy, I forgot to click a pic when I was served....it was really tasty one should go for it. It was too heavy ... One sandwich was enough to full up the stomach 5/5 Over all the restaurant is good...it's in open and cool breeze make u feel good. Moreover prices of the items are not too heavy on one's pocket. 4/5

The best thing about this place is the affordable menu. More of an open seating restaurant that serves some good dishes. Service could have been better for sure. Tried mushroom cheese burger and it was delicious. Could not try anything else as it was an unexpected visit. Definitely will be visiting the place again.

Tastings is located near diamond garden. The seating area is open and a good place to hang out with friends. A place to munch in some good snacks and have desserts. They have variety of cakes, pastries, ice creams, puffs etc. Also sizzlers, chinese, pizzas , falooda and much more. So I tried the brownie topped with chocolate sauce and chocochips which was good but not that soft. The service and the staff should be improved somewhat. Personally I like the seating arrangement of this place.

This is one of the oldest I can say a good cafe turned to a snack corner , located at a prime spot in Chembur diamond garden this place will definitely grab your attention. This place sure comes under the legendary category in Chembur as they have been there for almost more than 20 years serving some good ol ice creams a d sundaes. Their sandwiches and cakes are also decent. But I'd def recommend their ice creams.

I just love this place. Reasons being - the staff is nice and polite, the view looks beautiful in winter and rainy season because it's open, the food is good and the service delivery is quite good. I've tried sandwiches, pav bhaji, juices, noodles. The most amazing part is that they serve really amazing Sizzling brownie with Ice cream. It's worth going for guys. For the college going students, it's a must to try on.

Tastings has been in Chembur for as long as I can remember. For a place like that they have certainly fallen a bit short of expectations. Clumsy staff, delayed orders, cleanliness and hygiene standards are not up to the mark compared to the other new places surrounding Diamond Garden. Feels good while entering the Tasting. Well maintained Nice ambiances . Alots of varieties of pastries etc. Nice to see Paneer Tikka in menu twists with sandwich. So I ordered Paneer Tikka. Nice quantity but .... Need of improvement in the test of authentic Paneer Tikka almost lacking of all essential ingredients specially need proper seasoning to maintain the tast. since I live close by I have eaten here since a child. the place hasn't changed at all. the food is good and very affordable. since the seating is out in the open don't go when it's too hot. do try their Tiramisu ice cream. The Pav bhaji was good. the cheese pakora was also very soft. the mushroom chilli was a little oily but tasted very good. However the ice cream sunde was a bit too small. Thank you. p. s. I had ordered panner dish. but the staff told me that the panner has gone spoilt so they won't serve it. 1 mark for their honeslty.

Poor service, bad food, the burger bun was expired and had bad smell. The staff knew nothing about food and the price too high for a tad side open restaurant. I probably won't visit again and would advice no one to visit. Better places around at same price in Chembur than this toad side joint.

Good place to have dessert after having food at Yogi which just adjacent. Seating part is located outside. Mango thicc shake was good, the flavour seemed real. Plus mango icecream inside was a bonus. But wasnt worth it 140 bucks which was a disappointment after seeing 110 on the menu.

The only USP this place has...and which is helping it to generate enough revenue n run in this competitive time is it's LOCATION.. anyone can run successful business at this location...as far as food here is concerned, I was very disappointed... though it's pocket friendly , the food here is not worth even that.. we started with Club Sandwich, the quantity was good but a dry affair..the bread were not toasted properly..it had a patty inside which too was very dry...then we opted for Classic pizza..which tasted like we were having a dry roti with tomato sauce.. the worst pizza I ever had....at last we ordered Hash brown which was ok..its like potato smileys we have.. will never ever visit this place again..

Visited this Tuesday for Veg grill sandwich, was suggested Tastings special,came after 20 minutes and guess what! Veg cutlets were cold ! on top of that bread was not grilled properly, when i pointed out to waiter he told the chef but i had to request them to reheat it to make it edible. This is the third instance where I was served cutlets directly removed from fridge ( previously happned in veg burger order ) Excuse was Sir - chef naya hai !! better to stick to other stuff here as they are least bothered to address this issue of cold snacks ..I think they assume since its ice cream parlour all snacks by default will be served cold !! Total waste of 100 bucks , should have eaten at roadside sandwich walla.

This alfresco cafe at diamond garden is quite a respite from all the monotonous and pointless chains at kstar. I prefer tastings all days especially on few cold winter mornings when you could just sit there, feel the breeze and gaze at the moving traffic just outside. Their Ebony and ivory dessert is an absolute favorite that i land up ordering each time. They also serve some pocket friendly and yummy sizzlers. The only issue here is the sloppy service which you may have to learn to ignore.

So at a time when I really visited this place, there was no Zomato where you could rate and review a food joint you liked, my love for tastings goes that long ago.... I used to frequent this place with my friends then my family and then my boyfriend... So this place has seen it all. My love for cold coffee began here, they serve very yummy cold coffee and even their sandwiches are tasty. My personal favourites being veg grilled sandwich and paneer melangé.. I also love their pav bhaji and masala pav... They now have various other options as well but this place has a good feel to it since this is one of the few open places in Chembur. The service of this place has always been an issue, yet you don't mind it cos of the food they serve and you get to spend more time with your loved ones

Tastings was earlier an ice cream parlour which has now started serving snacks and food. The food is extremely disappointing. We tried the Margarita Pizza and veg burger. I wouldn't recommend eating here. I've given it 2 stars only on the nostalgia factor.

A great open air place with pretty decent food offerings. They have only vegetarian options bit quite a lot of them. One should try their Pav Bhaji which is really good. My friend ordered a pizza which was pretty nice too. They have a live juice counter which is my favorite. You can order pretty much any juice you want - freshly squeezed. There are options for cakes /pastries as well but haven't tried much of them. If you have time on your hands, Tastings is a great place to spend chatting and munching with your friends, especially in the evenings.

It's always good to end the year on a sweeter note. Tastings is known for delicious vegetarian food. You get a lot of snacks, pizzas, sandwiches and of course cakes. Many of these items are Jain friendly or at times even Vegan. One needs to check the vegetarian food here. I was here to pick up some cakes for my parents who want to end the old year as well as start the new year on a sweeter note. Ambience is fairly good. Its neat and tidy for sure. They surely have years of experience in bakery business. One can choose from several cakes that they've been baking over the last few decades. They also offer many styles of decorations and decorative items to choose from and one can also bring ones own design and they will be happy to do that too. Check out this place to explore more cakes. Never know, you might find a few instant hits. The pricing too is much competitive. Most of the cakes are priced at approx 300 bucks. Highly recommended!

You should definitely try this place. Has been one of my favorites.

It's one of the oldest places in chembur and hot hang out for youngsters. It's also a possibility lace to grab a quick bite and if you stay around then you call for a take away. Their grilled sandwiches and Oriental sandwiches are good. The Chinese here is Indian chinese but good. By far you get the best pav bhaji here. It's also a lovely place to have an ice cream and cake. They customise cakes too and and really fresh and melt in mouth. The sundaes are good too. If your around I would suggest to stop by and grab a bite or take a take away for sure. Oh yes their sizzlers are not to be missed too.

This is a small ice cream and dessert parlor cum dine-in restaurant. The food is average, and there's no decor as such, though I love their seating arrangement. One major issue with this place though, is that it's understaffed. Hence, the service is late. The sandwiches and Chinese items are good here, so are the sundaes. The ice cream sodas are terrible.

This place is full of contradictions. They've done it up well - I like the seating arrangements, but it's kinda dirty. The open air seating under trees is appealing but it's right att he corner of a very noisy and polluted traffic junction. The food is tasty (not exceptional, but good enough) but service is incredibly slow and pathetic. It stays open till about 1 AM (which is good) and their menu has great variety - burgers, wraps, sandwiches, sundaes, sizzlers, chinese - but the quality of the food is quite suspect (I once ate an extremely fermented strawberry mousse). So, take care! :P

Tastings is a tiny little bakery nestled in the bylanes of Chembur. I have always found a parking nearby so sitting in the outdoor café for long hours is not a hassle. They also house the London dairy ice creams. I have tried their Chocolate brownies and they were good. The fruit pastry was also fresh. We had samosas and veg patties which was good. Better than Bliss café for sure. The chocolate muffins were also spongy. The cafe is outdoor so in rains there's no possibility of sitting in. Just take the food and leave or stand and eat in the bakery! I've always seen a lot of teenage crowd here with their gang of friends or dates. All in all its a cool place with really reasonable rates. Very pocket friendly.

Went here to eat a dessert. The service was a little slow and had to call the server repeatedly. I had the butterscotch milkshake while my friends ate the chic choc super Sunday and the sizzling brownie. The milkshake was a disappointment as it was overly sweet and didn't have any butterscotch flavour at all. The sizzling brownie was nice and warm and the ice cream added a nice contrasting flavour and temperature to the dish. Further the dish wasn't overly sweet though the chocolate was getting burnt from below due to the hot plate on which it was served. The chic choc super Sunday had a slice of chocolate cake, with vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips and fresh cream and was quite delicious as well. All in all this was a good experience.

Tastings for late night cravings!!! Nice setup at the corner near Diamond garden on the Sion-panvel highway. The the way its done gives you nice feel of open cafe with a different style of seating. Though am not sure what to call it it's cafe/ icecream parlour/ Cakeshop/ Fastfood joint. They offer right from sandwiches, patries, icecream, pizza,coffee, starters to even chinese food etc. Though i prefer having coffe & sandwiches such snack items. I've always liked the things i have ordered and also the amount of money you pay they seem totally worth it. yes the rates are really cheap and for that they provide really good quality food. Service is area of improvement. Its good place for evening time snacks with friend and some coffee, and also you can try their desserts as well or ice cream if you want. Its good Value for money because the rates are really cheap.

We sat there almost for 6 months every alternate day. They would let us sit there all day. There would never be anyone there. Somehow there never are too many people eating there, despite being at Diamond Garden. The food is good but the service is slow. The umbrellas are cute and the food is decently priced too.

Snacks, cakes here are satisfactory and value for money. We ordered Chinese takeaway, service was extremely slow but the food was , atleast worth the wait. It was not at all oily and it didn't have the overbearing taste of agino moto/ msg.

Overlooking the road to Diamond Garden, this open café in Chembur is known for its economical menu and that's all the good about it. Competing in the price section, the hygiene definitely goes for a toss. The table has red ants crawling it. Had the Hakka noodles, Spring Roll and Paneer Shanghai sizzler. While the former two were doable but the sizzler was of sub-standard quality. The experience non-satisfactory Ratings: Price: 4.5/5 Ambience: 2/5 Service: 2/5 Staff: 2.5/5 Final word: Not worth the moolah or time, unless you wish to pick a quick dessert, they have a humongous variety of the same!

If looking for shakes and ice creams may be one can go once in a while but otherwise this place has nothing much to offer. If you care for something to eat it has standard Mumbai street fare like sandwiches and pao bhaaji etc. I used to go when wanted to eat something late night. But given that it serves standard fast food, its service moves at the snail's pace and bang at the corner of a busy junction it offers no respite from noise and pollution.

One of my favorite joints in chembur to chill, to go for late night snacks/ Ice creams. Located near diamond garden this has always been a landmark for chemburkars. Try their pav bhaji, it'll surprise you. They have good ice creams including London dairy products. Love their roast almond, blueberry cheesecake yogurt and choco chip out of many others I tried here in years. They've some really decent sandwiches on menu and worth a try. Keep it up!

This is truly the worst place to be when u want to have food or coffee, have a conversation with someone and overall pass the evening. Now they are blood funny, I'll tell u how. I'd ordered couple of coffees here, told the waiter that one should be really strong and other regular. He got me the regular one and I didn't get my coffee for about 25-30 mins. Finally I got up to ask what's the problem, to find out that waiter had forgotten the coffee on the counter. Well, he didn't bother to genuinely apologise but he smiled and said "bhool gaya tha".. Well, I told u they are funny. They have the worst service ever. I've tried this place twice and both times they have cheesed me off big time. Food is also not at great.

Best in the world for ice creams. I have never seen a better place than here for Ice creams. If you are looking for best ice cream, you should come here. they have it all. Homely ambiance, but more than just satisfactory. They also have Coffee - not all varieties. They have cakes and chocolates too. However, it can be a preferred place for ice creams.

It's a really different place to visit. You may have a nice time here with your loved one in the open space. Taste is good. Icecreams and cakes are nice. Service is poor though. Also food items are unavailable at times.

This place is really very demusing. The waiters and the chefs take 38934540 hours to serve you food that is completely tasteless. They don't even clean the tables properly, it's very sad. You don't get a Sizzler during lunch time because that chef isn't available. This is rubbish. I have always had bad experiences over here.

One of my worst experiences of a cake shop was today. I happened to try a pastry from here, chocolate truffle and it turned out to be dry, tasteless, and it was atleast 2 days old. I specifically asked the person if this pastry was fresh. The owner also seemed indifferent to my advise that why sell old pastries for such steep prices. This is becoming very common in outlets like Birdys and Croissant in Chembur. Tastings was pathetic. I don't think any one buys cakes/pastries from them. They must be trying to sell 2-3 old cakes/pastries especially the chocolate ones since they have higher shelf live and not perishable like fruit cakes. Please avoid Tastings at all cost if you dont want to spoil your mood and taste. Tastings sucks big time. It is possibly the worst eatery I have been too.

The once apon a time popular youngsters joint, has now gone low! Since we don't have many options in Chembur, I've had quick bites here many a times when I'm left with no option or either all the restaurants have shut their kitchens because it's late! The food is below average. Being next to a signal Since its open, it's quite noisy too. The only good thing is its pocket friendly.

Been here today. Sitting area is nice. Service average. Food here is not actually best or good. You can say it ok type of taste. Had much better than this kind of food. Chinese not worth really. Soup a saucy hot water- no taste. Disappointed

Tastings, an open air restaurant situated right at the corner of diamond garden is quite difficult to miss. The food available is absolutely average , we ordered the veg momos , they were no where as hot as they should be, also the chutney served with it was a big disappointment. It was watery and completely bland. The sizzler was absolutely without any sizzle, the cutlet was dripping in oil and the fries were limp and tasteless, definitely one of the worst sizzlers I have had till date. The sandwiches and paw bhaji was the only saving grace in food. The deserts do deserve a mention, the sizzling hot brownie was quite good and they do have a variety of ice creams to try from.

Tastings has 6 cake shops around it in that location. But I always prefer them over others. Best fruit cakes be it for a normal dessert or for a birthday party. Very very spongy and soft! And creamy! Yum!

Tastings is situated at a Very Nice Location Its Famous for Its deserts N Pastries. U cant sit there or pass by it without being tempted by the smell of Pav Bhaji! Chinese Items, Pav bhaji N Sandwiches are tasty! Its A night place to sit at night coz of its nice location!

Extremely poor quality food. Ordered take away of a grilled chilli cheese sandwich. Bread was stale, despite being grilled, taste was absolutely gooey. It was so poor as to cause food poisoning. Would strongly dissuade anyone looking for good quality food items at this joint.

Tastings is one of the best places for late night quick bites in chembur - their pizza, pav bhaji and sandwiches are very good ! Also they offer a wide range of desserts - including their own icecreams which are all very delicious !

An open space where you can spend hours hogging for they have some light crackers, juices, yummy sandwiches, cost effective ice cream scoops with more than average taste, also paestries however i never found their paestries any special or too good. Their staff is always very friendly. They also accept Sudexo coupons. All in all, a good place to satify ur icr cream urge.

Had visited along with family on Sunday evening. It is one of those no frill places. Is open to air place. Good sandwich and pizza. The servers were unaware about Jain food. Good variants available for desserts too. Definitely worth a go but please keep your expectations minimal.

Nice little place to hang out except for the location as it is right at the main road, which means sounds of vehicles passing by! Food is okishhh I would give it 2 out of 5. Although you can give them a chance to impress you with their pao bhaji! Bon appétit.

Rating it 3 only because i havent tried too many items here. They have fresh baked items , absolutely loved the butter khari i bought here . Has been a spot for a quick ice cream after dinner place so far. They have a varied number of ice creams and yummy as well. Best memory has been sitting with family under the late night star filled sky enjoying cool breeze and colder ice cream. Want to sample all their yummy baked items . Will come for more and rate again!

Decent food joint right across the street. Food was good, but restricted as it served only veg food. The pastries, puddings were very tasty and medium priced. Liked the sitting arrangement. Was altogether another experience sitting in the open air beside the road. Unlike clumsy street joints, this one is spacious, neat and very well maintained. Nice place to hangout!
