I tried sweets for the first time at my aunt’s place. Tried their kala jamun and dry gulab jamun really loved it. I don’t live in byculla but specially went there to buy their kala jamun.
Today I was happy to receive sweets bought from my aunt from this place.
Both kesar peda and kandi peda taste really nice, personally I don’t like pedas but these are really good. Although the yellow ones aren’t as fresh as the brown ones and also a bit hard. That’s why 4/5 and not 5/5.
Definitely recommend this place to everyone for fresh sweets for any occasion.
Visit if u r not visited. All sweets and fast food available. And the quality of that food is awesome. Quality and quantity is maintaining. Once u visit u definitely like this place. This place is famous in byculla for the sweets. Definitely try for the sweets all types of sweets are available in bele.
Absolutely no compromise on the quality of food served here. Be rest assured that Everything and anything ordered here will be fresh and scrumptious!!!!
Do not miss the variety of delicacies offered during the festivities.
It's a go-to place for a quick breakfast as I put up at Byculla near Ashok Dugdhayalaya, have often had their dhokla which are well made, soft spongy and not dry at all. The green chutney and garlic powdered chutney with it makes it all the scrumptious. Even the Dahi Vadas are delicious at this place!
Really good for a hearty, extremely cheap, tasty morning breakfast!
Malpoa or Malpua or Malpoha, call it anything, this is the best place where I have had Malpua. The tender, juicy and sweet. What a great combination. I cannot think of any other place serving a better Malpua than any other place.
Have been eating here since a few years. On the run snack place. Good samosa , kahori and other fried snacks. Very affordable. You mostly get hot stuff which is good to eat.
I Love this place. A perfect place to get breakfast. Their pattis and other items are really tasty. They have sweets as well. You will find almost everything you would want to eat from a place like Ashok
It is small oldest sweet shop which also serves snacks like dhokla, Patra, dabeli and maharashtrian food located just opposite to byculla station. My father visited this place many times and bring food for us, since his work place is nearby. They served hygienic , fresh and hot food at reasonable prices.
Things i tried :
1. Misal Pav - It is just like an ordinary misal , i ate better misal than this one
2. Upvas kachori - Size of kachori is big enough. Test amazing , they served with tresty chutney.
3.Upvas misal - wowww😍. It is mixture of upvas amti which contains peanuts , sabudana khichdi, aloo sabji, fries , upvas chivda etc. My tummy was full after eating this. (Highly recommended )
Big things comes in small packages
A lots of dishes to eat, lots of sweets, snacks, etc
Specialist in own production like Badami Halva, Gajar Halva, Puri Bhaji, Lassi and many more
Visit once if u r a food lover...
One of the oldest food shops in Byculla. Awesome snack and sweets at a reasonable price. Very hygienic and delicious at the same time. Best snack joint in this area.
Fast food and breakfast!! Awesome quality of food!
I was pleasantly surprised to see this tiny but popular place being listed here on Zomato. It is located opposite to Byculla station on the east. Don’t be fooled by the name – Ashok Dughdhalaya serves a range of farsans like Wadas, Dhoklas, Bhajiyas, Khasta Kachoris, Dabeli and many more. Each of these items are fantastic by themselves and are freshly prepared many times during the day. Their Dhoklas are nice and fluffy and the Dahi Khasta Kachoris can be a good meal in themselves. Just a few days back, I tried the Dabeli on the suggestion of my cousin and found it fabulous. Simply couldn’t stop at one! Not many options for Jains though, other than Dhoklas and Khasta Kachori. It goes without saying that they keep getting out of stock, so better go early in the evenings or be prepared to wait for the next fresh lot to be prepared!
Very normal restaurant but has cheap food with normal quality and hygiene
The Medu Vada is for 65 and Poori bhaji is for 70 and 10 rs for extra khopra (coconut) chutney.
The thali (very good in this price) is for just 110.
Its not for going on a date or something but it's good for eating while on the run
Superb quality food. Staff is nice. Tea must try. 100% veg. Breakfast, lunch & dinner all available
