The vegetarian food options here are quite nice and yummmy. I've tried their 'Paneer tikka masala', 'pahadi paneer', 'paneer maratha', 'veg handi'. I don't remember other items which i've tried here. But it doesn't matter because their food quality, quantity and taste all of them areee quite awesomeee!! The air-cooling is also very nice and the area although a bit smaller at first look is adequate for a limited number of people. One thing i'd like to suggest them is the introduction of 'Chapati' and 'butter chapati' variants in breads section!!!!

Everything about this place starting from the ambiance, food and the vibe was great. This place has two separate sections, one dedicated to family dining and other being the bar. We tried chicken crispy, chicken lollipop, kolhapuri mutton handi and kulche.. all of these were worth it 🔥🔥 It's really close to Parel Railway Station, approximately a 15 mins walk.

Second time I came n had salt and pepper mashroom , chicken lollipop and fried rice and caramel custered. Lollipop n mashroom was very spicy rice was good. Best nonveg starter. Chicken starter and mashroom starter was very tasty. Card and cash payment. You can hang out with friends here nice ambience

Excellent place if you want to have chicken dishes. All starters are good try the chicken kalamiri and egg fried rice simple awesome In veg you can try dal khichdi or tadka. The paneer they use is malai paneer so soft and juicy

Searching a lot i find this hotel somewhere in dadar and parel so going inside the atmosphere was good as AC was working good its a small dining area ..food was tasty but i feel price was too high ..as food quantity was very less ...in one order only one can eat properly...sharing will lead to quantity issue ...over all food was nice drink prices are double or triple from wine shop price so thing is ur a middle-class with family as its not pocket frndly ...sitting area is small but one can adjust and seat ...

We had ordered paneer crispy and triple rice. Overall food was good..but they don't give separate soup instead they add it with rice

Overall it is good dining place, we tried paneer bhurji, the taste was very good and qunatity was sufficient for 3 persons. Service is little slow.

Went there on suggestion of a friend but it was the best things that happened off late to me. What a great ambience, too good a service and very tasty food. I always keep a tab on the bill but for the food we had it dirt cheap. We paid about 800 per person for two round of drinks and veg plus non veg snacks. Portions are also good and so is the presentation of food. Btw the place has two partitions of family and non-family guests. Even the "chakhna" with drink was prepared with so much care. Must go place for a quiet and enjoyable hangout with friends.

The place is really good, it is full A/C, the quality of the good is superb, the price is also good - budget friendly.

It's very affordable place to dine in.. we a group of 7 friends visited.. every dish was good. I personally liked their jamun ice cream and laccha paratha which went well with their chicken gravy... I'll visit again.💜

Canara is very good bar and restaurants for bachelors with good food and liquor. Families please avoid this place as the crowd is not good (All Men). It serves both veg and non-veg. Location is near to TATA memorial hospital. It does home delivery too in Parel area. Overall a decent place for Men.A person who is non veg lover and booser must visit as non veg food is aweaome . We live really close to this place but had never been here since initially it was only a bar. But now they have converted and added a family section to it too.<br/><br/>The ambience is nice and it's done nicely. Loved the old mumbai paintings put up everywhere.<br/><br/>I read a lot of other Zomato reviews before going here so that we could order good, recommended dishes..<br/><br/>We ordered a paya soup. So the taste was spicy but not very flavorful and also I dint enjoy the paya in it.<br/><br/>We ordered tandoori chicken which was tasty.<br/><br/>Next we ordered a recommended chicken oyster and wine. This is sweet and spicy in taste and you should order this only if you like that sweetish taste in food.<br/><br/>For the main course we just had a chicken dum Biryani and a blue Curacao based drink which was quite refreshing.<br/><br/>It's not very expensive too. We had visited yesterday. And expected to spend a good time there we had ordered for 3 pegs of old monk and 2 starters it was just 12:30 and we were on our last pegs. Mr. Albund asked my college to leave by sipping the whole drink in a go and leave. We never expected them to be so rude when we are coming for a good time at a restaurant. We are paying for what we have. Please train your staff to not act so indecent to the guest. The food was also too oily.

The restaurant has a simple and clean ambiance and serves Chinese, Mughlai, Punjabi cuisines. Food quality and quantity were pleasant. The food taste was good, nothing disappointed us in terms of taste.<br/>Must try - Chicken oyster and wine, Chicken banjara kebab<br/>Looking at the bill, it was worth every penny!!!<br/>

3.5 is what I would rate this place, considering the quantity and quality of their food, price, service and ambience.<br/><br/>Our cousins group of 9-10 were looking for a simple but good place nearby to have a proper sit down dinner. Canara Family Dining (which initially sounded like an Udupi Thali place) was the option nearest to where we were then and fit the bill perfectly. Their menu had vegetarian and non-vegetarian options like soups, starters, mains, desserts in both Indian and Chinese style, hence everyone in the group could have all what they wanted.<br/><br/>We started of with soups - the usual Sweet corn one, which was thick and the Veg Clear Soup which was thin and tasty but had a slightly greasy look. For starters, we called for the Veg Crispy and Mushroom Salt and pepper (both of which were recommended to us by the person taking our order) which we found to be strictly average. There was a Indian Paneer based starter (whose name I forget) which was slightly spicy but was the best of the lot.<br/><br/>For mains, we called for the Hot basil noodles which had loads of basil giving the dish a nice fragrance and flavour. The Thai Pot Rice consisted of veggies in red curry mixed well with rice and this turned out to be a good end to an otherwise spicy meal. I was told that Dal Khichdi there is supposed to be really good, which I guess will be tried on some other visit there.<br/><br/>The menu did have certain desserts and ice creams but we weren't in the mood and therefore ended it right there. The food pricing was not what one calls cheap, but it seemed kind of appropriate considering the food portions given and other factors like ambience, service etc. I wouldn't mind giving Canara Family Dining a second visit when around that area with a group.

For family outing or friends get together this place be the apt choice anyway situated near Patel hospital and the store front is such a eye catchy. There are two parts of the restaurant one is bar and the other part is family dinning. The place is for fine dine. Had gone to this place like today for a quick lunch and was expecting the service to be quick as well. But unfortunately, the service was slow and on top of that there were staff who were just slacking around....Even if it took so much time for them to bring the food, it was even more of a big disaster. It really was really bad. The taste was poor, the service was pathetic. Never going to go to this place.

One of the oldest joint in Bhoiwada , parel . Serves multi cuisine food . Must try the butter chicken , tandoori chicken & Chicken sukka . Haven’t tried their chinese yet ! It was a like a quarter joint but with new ambience its a family restaurant now . Really worked on the plating presentation with the ambience. Overall a good place with affordable price .

It is not at all pocket friendly for the quantity of the dishes. The quality is okay but the quantity is very less considering the price of the dishes . You can get great quality food with reasonable price in the surroundings

This restaurant is located near bhoiwada. This restaurant is serving food since very long time. On recommendation of one of my friend visited this place. This restaurant is having two sections.<br/>The food taste was average. Ambience is very nice and pleasent. I felt Food and alcohol was very over priced.<br/>

Nothing spectacular. A average drinking joint with average food. Nothing stood out. There is a non family section which is predominantly male.  Had the chicken ghee roast, Mandeli fry and the mutton sukka. The Mutton Sukka was better than average but the chicken ghee roast was a slight disappointment.

We had Masala Papad which was standard affair.<br/>2. Prawns Fry was nice and crispy with succulent texture. The quantity was disappointingly less.<br/>3. Black Pepper Chicken starter was excellent. Veg Triple Schezwan Rice was pretty different from what I have had in other Chinese places. To start with, I had to ask the waiter, while he was serving, whether it was actually fried rice since it had green peas in it. Nevertheless, the peas weren't a bother. The rice was great. Little different from other triple rice dishes in which there was less gravy, so rice was not watery, which was good. The dry fried noodles added a nice crunch to it. Only dismal part was dry manchurian balls. The balls were a little hard and dry in the centre. The rice also had spicy sauce in it which improved the taste significantly. There was no need for any additional sauce or soy. Quantity was satisfactory. Overall a good experience with rice. Could have been excellent if the manchurian balls were soft and succulent.<br/><br/>Cost: 4 Stars;<br/>Considering the ambience and decor and to some extent food, I'd say the cost was OK and reasonable.<br/><br/>Service: 4.5 Stars;<br/>Staff is courteous and gave good suggestions. Canara family dining is really a decent place. Food tastes good really appreciated. Good quality and quantity. Quick service. Little expensive. Perfect for family dining.

Stale and Pathetic food. Ordered for take away. Food was delivered after 1.5 hours which was completely cold. Hence complained the manager named Rakesh and he asked to send the food back. He further promised that he will cook fresh food and send it in 15-20 min but these shameless people had the audacity to deliver the same cold food after 30 minutes saying that it was freshly cooked. A total con business. Such situations have occurred 3 times. You will end up paying for tasteless food served cold. <br/><br/>Order only if you want to waste your money and stay hungry.<br/>

Quick service. Courteous staff. I would recommend the Chicken Pulimunchi, Chicken Sukka, Authentic Mangalorean Neer Dosa and the Chicken 65. Alcohol too is reasonably priced. Nice place to visit after a tiring day at work. Definitely a favourite with all the tired doctors of Tata Memorial and K.E.M Hospital. I would rate it 3.75 stars if the option was provided :)

Visited this place for dinner with friends. Decent interiors but I feel the seating is very cozy and conjusted. No space to move around if it's house full.<br/>Ambiance is not so good here.<br/>Food quality is decent and also table service.<br/>Had chicken tandoori, pahadi kabab along with rice and Naan.

Very basic and descent restaurant that serves good and tasty food opposite to tata hospital parel. Good seatings and quick service . We placed order for chicken chatpata,afgani chicken as starters and butter chicken ,nizami chicken,tandoori rotis and 2 chicken biryanis for main course. The quantities were sufficient for 6 people.

My all time favourite bar in my area....the renovation is just too good to explain...family section they have started it extra ordinary... This bar has a standard to arrive with your family and special friends...old mill kind of a gesture and interior....with some antiques in showcase.....i loved the atmosphere....Food is good BUT....quantity of Biryani is too less...<br/><br/>over all...it is nice to have a quality time for dinner with booz....!!!

Good renovated restaurant .Cheap alcohol and can take your family too.Ask for the chefs special, both veg and non veg have good options .The staff is courteous and also suggests discounts on certain cards..one can try chicken in red gravy ..Or veg as the waiter suggests...Naan will give you memories of Delhi naan ...Just ask them to serve you fresh.

Very small but well-appointed interiors and very neat and clean. <br/><br/>The pan-fried bombil could have been crispy but the manḍali was, the herb-batteted surmai was a tad spicy - but it all tasted very good when washed down with ice-cold beer! <br/><br/>The waiters and staff are amazing, they paid so much attention to us which made the experience very homely. <br/><br/>We were stuffed to the gills with all the fish starters so settled for daal-chawal and deep-fried prawns as mains and it EA's delish. <br/><br/>This place is not in a mainstream area but will def go again if in Parel area.

Had ordered some vegeterian starters paneer kadhai , naan from here . food delivery is quick but food quality is inferior.( naan was ok, sabji tasteless, starters oily) Would not order from here again!

I Was There For Away Food. They Are Good With The Food Quality and ambience is not so good their Chinese menu and North Indian food is good. I tried chicken triple rice there it was good.

I dont know why people order from here! Ridiculous restaurant who do not at all care about reviews from zomato. Also absolutely no care about customer satisfaction. Would have loved to give a zero rating if possible.

Canara is one of those small Shetty food places one can order mangalorean & quasi chinese food from. They used to be very good especially the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala & spicy maratha chicken. But offlate the quality & taste is deteriorating. That said, it still continues to remain a favourite amongst the locals. <br/><br/>A meal for two will cost you 500 bucks!

Canara has a great variety of veg and non-veg dishes. The ambience is pretty much bar like and you'd rather order or take-away; unless you want to drink there, of course. <br/><br/>The chicken and veg starters are to die for.
