Review Ohanna's - Mumbai

The restaurant is serving something called as ‘The great Thaal of China’...Its a culinary triumph...simply delicious...Every food lover must try it once, and make sure u take ur besties along with you because the thali is really huge with a beautiful blend of Chinese cuisine and the food is just outstanding.

Tried the Great Thaal of China Here popularly known as the Chinese Thali! My experience here was delightful! This place is at walking distance from Versova Metro Station!

**Review of the thali only** We visited this place specifically for it's social media famous Chinese Thali or The Great Thal of China as they call it. The thali has 19 items, 3 appetizers which were my favorite part of the thali, 3 soups... least favorite part of the thali and 3 main items (fried rice, hakka noodles and schezwan rice) , the rest were gravies or dry chicken items to accompany the main items. Quantity wise recommended for 3-4 people max. Unless you have a friend that doesn't eat at all, then 5. +Service +Value for Money (Rs. 1199 for non veg and 999 for veg thali) +Quantity -Food was quite cold -Taste wasn't that great (maybe because it was cold) -No desserts available

Chinese thal is awesome if you are a non veg fan should visit atleast once. This is a normal restaurant but food is really very tasty and superbly presented. The service is excellent the restaurant owner is very much friendly with customers

The food here is incredibly good...it feels like someone serving us Chinese rajbhog😂.... Other important things are: 1. Surely make a reservation before visiting here because it's too crowded and you can barely get any seats without reservation. 2. The food will only arrive at that time at you reserved. 3. I don't like the service over there they waiter barely paid any attention to us. 4. They don't provide drinking water only bislery is available that to added in your bills.

Famous for it's Thali. Very great atmosphere. Clean tables and sitting area. Polite and fast service. Food quality n tastes good. Only reason not to give full rating is Sitting space. Have to take a reservation prior before going. Must Go!

The thali was amazing and above expectations...3-4 people can have one thali. The owner was very helpful and help us with our planned birthday celebrations. We also ordered Garlic chicken, but it was not properly cooked, so a star less for them. This place is MAGIC PIN app, so you can save some bucks over there.

It's good for nonveg food

So we visited this place for lunch. Its a small place with good ambience. The staff was good and the service was fast. Coming to the food and drinks we had: . . . Mocktails: (1)kiwi mint:this mocktail was very refreshing. The kiwi juice was added with some minty ingredient to give it a oozing blast. (2)rasberry mint:this mocktail was made with rasberry dripped in mojito. It had a sweet taste and was mouth watering. Personally recommended. . . . Shakes: (1)dry fruit shake:this shake really made me crave for more. The dry fruits in the shakes were amazing. Really owned my tatse. Personally recommended. (2)butter scotch shake:this shake was blended perfectly with the ingredients.every sip of it was driving me nuts. . . . Starters: (1)chicken hot garlic:one of the best chicken dishes i had. The chicken was cooked well, and spices added just upto the mark. if u are visiting this place then you shouldn't miss this treat. Personally recommended. (2)chicken tilli milli:the chicken with the green chutney accompanied made it totally worth it. A must try dish. . . . Main: Chicken maharaja with butter naan:a true king of chicken dishes. The boneless chicken with the buttery naan was too good to be true. It was delicious and finger lickin. Totally worth every penny. . . . Overall the place was good and had some really good quality and amazing food and drinks. Ill definitely visit this place again!!!.

We went to this place because we were curious about the Chinese thali/The Great Thal of China. Service was so worst they didn't even offered water. Food was good but some dishes were weird for example there were one clear soup it was just water and some pieces of boiled chicken. They need to improve Their Services.

Near 7 bungalow this place is full of yellowness. It is a restaurant having a small space above for seating. In drinks we had water melon juice, sweet lime juice and peach mint. The two juices were good and natural. Peach mint was little sweet. We had Ohanna's special starter in which there were different kinds of kebabs and roasted chicken. It was good to taste with the green chutney served. It was enough to serve two. Must try this signature dish of them. In main course we had paneer tikka masala, dal tadka and lacchha paratha. They were good to taste with appropriate amount of spices. Ambience was good with soft songs playing. Service was good and they were friendly.

A Fined Particles of Chicken cooked in a South Indian Style which was very delicious and Mind-blowing in Taste 2:- Chicken Pot Rice :- The Best chicken Pot Rice i had Ever, Well it was Mixture of a Small finely chopped Chicken pieces along with a lots of Garlic added on it. which gives u the flavour of Garlic as well as Spicy. 3:- Chicken Tikka Biryani:- Well the Aroma of Chicken Tikka Biryani was very Delicious. The spices added in it and the Gravy was very good to Taste. Just made my Day after having a chicken Tikka Biryani over here.

Food :
Chinese - 7.5 / 10
Indian - 7.25 / 10
Ambience - 6.5 / 10
Service - 7.25 / 10
The chinese thali is pretty big and requires atleast 2-3 people to complete it.

As I am a big chinese cuisine fan and this place was next to my clinic we decided to go here for team dinner but this place did not satisfied our tastebuds. Food was nothing great but chindian food which we get in all restos. Overhyped chinese thaal.
Ambiance- 2.5/5
Food- 3/5
Service- 3.5/5

We went for it's famous Chinese Thali & it was yummy 😋. We were 07 & we ordered 02 Thalis & still the Thalis won 😅. Place is small & waiting makes it slightly worse. A little neatness is required. Quality of the food is great. A must-try place for Chinese food lovers.
Tejashvi Bhanjan
The place was quit good food was delicious you would have to wait for about 30 minutes for the thali but it was worth the wait. Should take around 4 people along to finish it all

*Chinese Thaali Only*

If you are in a mood for some really good Chinese food, this is clearly NOT the place to be!!!
If you are in a mood for experience, this is a one-time visit (only for the concept and size of the Thaali)

So, we saw the post on Facebook, about this trending “Chinese Thaali” at Ohanna’s (a small place) and
my fiancé and I being huge fans of Chinese food, went for the experience the very next day (which also happened to be Valentines)

What we had:
Vegetarian Chinese Thaali consists of 19 items (3 soups, 3 starters and 13 main course items – 3 rice/noodles and 10 accompaniments dry/ gravy)

What we liked about this place:
+ The Concept (5/5)
+ The People (4/5)
+ The Quantity (5/5 – serves 4/5)
+ Value for Money (5/5 – Rs. 999 for the Veg)

What we didn’t like about this place:
- The Food
- The Ambiance
- The Hygiene

Price:
Veg - Rs. 999
Non-Veg - Rs. 1,199

What went wrong:
• Too Oily (1.5/4)
• Cold when served (1/5)
• All items similar in taste + the taste was not great (2/5 – for the rice and noodles)
• Long Waiting Time (2/5)

It took them close to 45 minutes to get our order and the food was so disappointing that we were done with dinner in about 15 minutes (Literally less than 1 minute per item). The only things we did like and finish were the rice/ noodle items.

PS: Do not use Google Maps to reach this place, instead reach WTF!/ Treesome (on my left) and keep driving for about 200m.

So I specially visited this place for their well known thali which is called as Chinese thali it was very good I even ordered schezwan chicken lollipop even that was good and their schezwan chutney was just amazing.

The chinese thali was lit..🤤 and almost all the types of chinese dishes are good. There are total 19 different types of chinese dishes and you need a total 3-4 people to finish it 👍🏼

Have tried their famous chinese thal
Nice Concept
Good taste
Can work more on their soup
Rice and noodels were good
Lollypop was not that great
Springroll was excellent
The price was expensive(1200)
I think it should be some where near 800-900
Worth it..

This is small outlet at 7 bungalow. Ambience is ok. You have to book your table or else long waiting hour. Food is nice. I tried Chinese Thali which is something unique here n it was really good idea to impress food lovers.

We were very excited for visiting Ohanna's (the only restaurant in Mumbai which serves Chinese thali and over hyped due to trending social media video) and got highly disappointed after visiting.

Here is review in short :

Ambience : 2/5 : too congested.

Service : 1/5 : too slow and unfriendly.

Over hyped Chinese thali : 1/5 : cold and tasteless.
- soups : not even manchaow soup was worth the taste ( forget rest )
- starters : few sweet and few salty (we were group of 6 couldn't finish all the starters because of taste)
- fried rice : average quality which you can even get at roadside Chinese stalls
- noodles : average quality

Non Veg Chinese thali which cost us Rs.1200 was not even worth of Rs.500.

Concept of chinese thali is good but if you are not meeting basic benchmarks it is worthless.

The only good thing about this is if you want to give treat to your friends, your treat will be completed in just 1 thali for group of 6 and your friends won't dare to ask more 😂

If you are a foodie you will be highly disappointed.
Highly unrecommended!
We visited this place to try Chinese thali as we have seen recommendation videos on social networking sites. But the thing is that Chinese thali is below average. We have reached early as per opening time and waiting for our thali as they were preparing food. But we got food which was not hot. So we were not impressed by their signature dish. We also ordered separate indian starters but only chicken lollypop and chicken Tibetan were good but mutton boti kabab was very hard to eat.

So our overall experience was not so good.

Non veg Chinese thali - 1/5
Indian chicken lollypop - 4/5
Tibetan chicken - 3/5
Mutton boti kabab - 0/5

May be others have experienced differently but we have posted our experience.

Suggestions - Thali looks delicious when we capture a photo but it's completely opposite when we tasted.

Chinese thali as a signature dish which is completely new and exciting idea to get lots of customers but try to match taste and quality.

I hope they will improve.

Saturday Dinner with friends
*Review on Chinese thali only*

Ambience 4/5
Small place, with yellow decor. Nice place to visit with friends or family

Food 3.5/5
Chinese non veg thali .... Nice but not great
3 to 4 people can eat easily

Service 4.5/5

P.s. - As small place reservation recommend.

Well the staters and the rice was good but the soup was terrible . Well instead of soup manchurian gravy can be added as majority would prefer to have it with rice and noodles.
Delzad Panthaki
Extremely extremely horrible food .. food came in cold and the worst part is there were 19 items in the chineese thali but except for colour difference the taste was the same for all the items in the thali.. i guess they have paid the curly tales to give good reviews as its not even worth 1 star..

We had the Great Thaal of China. Was deeelicious. Mutton Rogan josh is exactly as it should be. Mutton was well cooked and tender and perfect. Mutton Rogan josh is a must have with Pakistani Butter Naan. Thank you for the wonderful food. Good quantity and value for money.

Heard about the Non veg Chinese Thali from social media and thought about giving it a try. The food was mouth watering and delicious, the best part was that each dish had chicken in it. I would definitely visit this place again.

Had a blast. Good quality food. Good place to go out with family and freinds. Just way to much in the plate to eat at one time. Enjoy a lot.
Non veg thali was something on my wish list and checking out Ohanna's was a remorseless decision. The place is cozy with a lounge set up capable of handling around 15 people.
The thali was huge with the quantity enough to fill four hungry tummies.

The thali roughly consisted of around 15 boneless chicken starters including chicken lollypop, manchurian gravy, spring roll, chicken crispy, dry manchurian and many more. There were 3 kinds of soup with tongue twisting flavours. You get two types of rice- chicken fried rice and chicken shezwan rice along with chicken noodles. These were little dry better to be eaten with the gravy.

The staff was very polite and served us no time even in there closing minutes without any hussle. Overall the expirience was worth remembering and the best way to eat the thali is at a leisurely pace while taking the advantage of every different flavour of the dish. Much recommended for those chinese lovers who wished for all the mouth watering starters in one plate.

I was recommended by one of my colleagues to try The scrumptious Chinese Thaali along with Family & it’s definitely worth trying to have 19 dishes combined all together in a gigantic thaali.

The taste is fantastic & quantity is sufficient for 2-3 people with medium appetite.
I really appreciate the creativity of team member who invented this concept!
Dhruv Davda
Best place for Punjabi lovers.
They have lots of options available here for vegetarians and non vegetarians.
Service is also very nice here. Our dishes were prepared on time and served well.

Hara bhara Kabab is the one i will prefer you to order.

My order:

Raspberry = 4/5
Pinch mint = 5/5
Hara bhara Kabab = 5/5
Chicken tilli milli = 5/5
Veg kadai = 4/5
Chicken punjabi = 5/5

Ambience 4/5.

Service 5/5.

Ordered the famous Chinese non veg thali.....but it was like....taste kaha hai!!!!! Besides, it took us some time to trying to finish it and so the items went cold and when Chinese food gets cold, it's just gross😪
Sanjay Punjabi
Worst chinese food ever. Called for chicken schezwan combination rice. The rice was delivered clod. Too much use of colour in the schezwan. Quality of the schezwan sauce used is a big qiestion mark. The egg in the rice was burnt and had a certain kind of smell. Honestly street side quality would have been much better. Complete waste of money.
Amy Mary
I heard a lot about this place and decided to try their Chinese Thali. Their non veg Chinese thali was good. The quantity was enough for four. It's a different Indo Chinese concept. And we loved it. Definitely worth a try!
Jubee Verma
The Great thaal of China! As the name this Thali is also Great! I haven't saw such a humongous spread of Chinese! It was such a delightful experience! Tried Chicken Chinese Thali. This Thali is sufficient for 3-5 people.
The staff is also very friendly.
All dishes were lip-smacking except sweet corn soup I personally don't like sweet corn soup so I avoided rest everything was Good!
Totally recommend it

Chanced upon this place on one of our walks to Versova beach. It’s a small almost missable little entrance that looks like a take away joint. However on enquiry we were told there is some seating arrangement as well. We’ve ordered from here twice. The first time was the chicken tikka masala and the naan & tandoori roti. This got us highly impressed. The chicken tikka masala was really very good. It had a lovely rich gravy with a smoked, charcoal aroma. We ordered Chinese the second time: dry chilly chicken, chicken Manchurian, chicken hot garlic and the chicken schezwan fried rice. The chicken chilly was not bad but the other items were just not up to the mark. The chicken hot garlic had a bland watery gravy with an overly sweet taste. The rice had an ‘eggy’” whiff and they sent us the chicken Manchurian dry instead of the gravy. Had a mixed experience and would recommend Ohanna for the Indian only on the the basis of the chicken tikka masala!
Aditi Bhattacharjee
Was recently here to try out their fish paturi. It was the name that attracted me towards the place. Being a Bengali, was looking forward to trying the dish but sadly enough it was not available.

Ended up ordering the non-veg thali which has about 19 different dishes served in one gigantic plate. It looks really nice but may not taste as authentic Chinese food. It is an average tasting thali which will take about 2-3 people with medium appetite to finish it.

I felt the highlight of the plate was the chicken Manchurian. Chicken lollipop was also good but not great and the floor story of the thali was the chicken sweetcorn soup which did not have any corn and seemed to be sweetened by sugar.
Ayesha Hazra
Their food quantity is very less and it's tasteless. They're price is much higher than other famous big restaurants.most importantly we had to serve ourselves.
Sharukh Khan
The thaal is all about looks and taste is zero only soup and spring roll had some taste rest everything was below expectations we had a lot of expectations from them frankly speaking the fried rice was really very tasteless and in every thing one veggie was common i.e capsicum there was only colour difference in rice and all the dishes rest everything was same no taste salt was less in many dishes and the service was average the rice with Schezwan and without Schezwan had the same taste and the second thing which tempted us to go there was the review but it was actually not upto the mark please it was served cold as well and that too tasteless price is good no doubt about that food quality is also nice but taste is the one of the most ruling factor if there is no taste its actually waste of time and money.
Rishi Nair
After seeing the very viral video of the 22 Dish Chinese Thaali, we decided to visit them and test our appetites. The Thaali was well worth the hype with 22 unique dishes including 3 soups 3 starters and 3 Rice and noodles. The service was great but the food despite being delicious, it was served a little bit cold. Highly recommend to visit them during the weekdays since the place is small and you will definitely have to wait for a table during the weekend.
Nitika
A good small place..
We tried the famous Chinese thali..
There were variety of option and majority of them tasted good.
But i guess they can still work on their varieties..
The quantity is sufficient for 3-4 people..
Food:3.5/5
Value for money:4/5
Taste:3.5/5
Ambience:4/5

Kudos to the team
Ashu Poojari
Tiny place.. But the chinese thali is amazing... Thali is sufficient for 4-5 people... It had 18 dishes.... Everything tasted yummy except one soup.... The staff is friendly and courteous
Mehul Kothare
One of the best place in Mumbai to try a Chinese Thali. Located bang opposite 7 Bungalows Beach entry in Andheri West, this small restaurant dishes out some amazing Chinese food. As per the restaurant guys, the Chinese Thali is the best sell and after looking at the snaps, I’m sure you would doubt the claim. It has limited seating space ... but the thali is a steal guys for Rs.999/- !
Archana Pokkalath
We had ordered Chinese veg thali and had a decent experience with average ambience. But majority of the dishes had cauliflower which felt like an overdose. 4 ppl can easily complete this thali.
Hussain Rampurawala
We ordered their most famous dish. The Chinese thali. This should be something that they serve immediately. Moreover we had reserved our table for 2pm well in advance and placed our order, the same time. We waited for 1 hour for food at the restaurant for lunch, there were no others at that time at the restaurant but still they delayed, moreover the incharge at restaurant was unapologetic,I wouldn't recommend this plsce. The food was just average what you get on roadside, the thali is hyped a lot nothing special about it.
Dipen Shah
Have tried many types of Thali- Gujarati, Marwadi, punjabi, maharashtrian but was surprise to see Chinese Thal at the Ohanna’s @ 7 bungalows . Both option of veg and non vegetarian thali with total 19 types of Chinese preparation.

Small place but good food
Hema B
Tasty, healthy food option. Ordered the non-veg and veg meal.
The paneer salad in the veg meal was super yummy.
Only drawback was the quantity of the chicken in the nonveg meal was less.
Rest all was good.
Shabnam Zaveri
This thali just looks tempting . Taste wise and quality wise tooo bad. It was served cold, chicken was soo hard that u cannot chew, all the starters were same taste. Quality of rice and chicken tooo bad🤮 not at all recommended
Malaika Bhat
The food here was pathetic. I ordered two of their Chinese combos, the schezwan rice was so dry, the soup was like sugar water and the worst part is that the chicken starter didn’t even have real chicken pieces it was just the ends of the chicken wings which are meant to be disposed of (basically the waste of the chicken was served) and this was not a mistake because it was the same in both the combos. After eating the food I had an upset stomach for 2 days. I don’t recommend even trying this places food the only reason I did is because I saw a video about them on curly tales and thought it would be good. I know never to trust curly tales again either.
Jeet Mehta
The thali is just over rated not at all worth the money. Not at all recommend and the wired criteria they have is if u are 6 people then order 2 thalis. And d best part is they even charge for takeaway. Not advisable.
Stebin Ben
I had ordered hot n sour soup because i was having a very bad throat pain and believe me they made it so nicely and the same way I had given instructions. Thank you 😊
Neetika Jasuja
The most pathetic Chinese I’ve ever eaten. We saw the ratings on Zomato, saw the combos they had and were very excited to order the Chinese ones, we ordered 2 - Sweet corn soup + Chicken 65 + Chicken fried rice.
Chicken Manchow soup + Chicken Chilli + Schezwan fried rice.
The simple thing like sweet corn chicken soup had literally 0 pieces of corn, moreover the soup was more like dessert with gallons of sugar. Absolute rubbish. The manchow soup on the other hand was nothing but soy sauce stew.
Coming to the starters, the chicken 65 was nothing like a chicken 65 should be. It was fried and dipped in some wired indescribable sauce.
The chilli chicken was just about edible.
The chicken fried rice was bland + sweet again. The chicken pieces in it were rubbery and tasteless.
The schezwan sauce was sweet and hence made the rice even worse.
All in all, the experience was so bad that I swear never to order again and request anyone to try it at their own risk.
You guys should really do something about TASTE! Combos and value for money is one thing, but if there is no taste it’s not worth it..
Mila Chakrabarty
Visited this cosy restaurant with family and had made reservations for the nonveg Thali earlier reading one of the Zomato reviews and this Jumbo Thali really stands up to all the positive reviews that is buzzing on the internet. Quite a unique experience and definitely budget friendly. It is a chicken lovers dream dish with different preparation s of chicken. Very well thought out and can easily serve 4. And though we were only three of us, doing full justice to it requires quite an appetite. It was quite a memorable experience and discovering and tasting different types of chicken preparations was quite interesting. There were three soups and catering for each type of palate. There were spring rolls, chicken lollipops and chicken strips. There were many variations of chicken with gravy and two types of fried rice and noodles.

All in all a very memorable and satisfying experience. I think it is a go to place and very pocket friendly. I think they have stuck to chicken dishes to keep the budget under control. At 999 for 4, definitely a steal.
Vedanta Chakrabarty
Good place. Good ambience. Quantity obv great. However - 1. Taste is not good.. very low quality Chinese 2. Waiter very rude and weird 3. Non veg thali has only chicken and not other meat !

Excellent food. Friendly environment. Hygienic. Superb Chinese thali with a heavy taste. One thing that anyone can experience in Mumbai. Reasonable price.

Amazing place with an extremely impressive serve and lots of options and nice thali and very good place to hangout with family and frndzz amd i love it😊

Not a great place.
Staff is very rude and egoistic. No respect for the customers. Would never suggest anyone. Not ready to take feedback and suggestions.
Vishal Thakkar
Very rude staff, the representative on phone was very rude with females in our group of 8 people and asked us to wait for 45 mins and also mentioned that thali preparation will take 1 to 1.5 hours which in no way a customer can accept. It seems recent promotions and popularity on social media has got onto their head. They need to understand a basic thing of valuing customer time and have some politeness in their interaction.
YouOnlyLoveFood
Great place you must try their chinese and indian food. This is a wonderful food spot in Versova. Their chinese thali is also worth a try. Staff could be better though.

Pathetic staff, they don't value customer and talk rudely. Even though we had a booking they asked us to wait fur over 45 mins and also mentioned that the thali they were promoting takes over an hour to prepare. Seems like the popularity has made them arrogant.

29 November 2018 - 19.30 hours
Best way to remember this place’s name is like khannas where K is replaced by an O. Yes it’s Ohannas
This place is poplularly known for their Chinese thali
Note:
Prior reservation is required for thali
Thali consists of a total 19 items
Thali is a limited one. It’s not unlimited

It is fairly a newly opened outlet in Versova (6 months ago). The have limited seats available. Approx 7 to 8 tables are available
Ambiance is quite positive and bright
Downside are some mosquitoes roaming around
Crockery was unique as well

We did not try the thali as we wanted to try the place first before jumping on thali
We ordered just two items. When the items arrived the smell could tell you that this is going to be a gooooood evening
One was VEG MANCHOW SOUP which was amazing and the dry noodles were fresh and crispy
Second on the list was VEG SCHEZWAN NOODLES which was so perfectly made, can’t complain about anything in terms of food
However options in menu can be added like we didn’t find burnt garlic rice

Average cost: Both of these items cost just 405
Ratings: 4

If you like my reviews and pictures do follow my instagram page: _mumbaifood

Mediocre effort of displaying Hindi-Chini Bhai Bhai (pun intended). Amazing marketing but below ordinary food. For Chinese thaal at Ohanna's you need to place order in advance, it made sense coz there is a lot of preparation required. After waiting for 1.5 hr our expectations were real high, Chinese thaal was just mediocre. Lot of things didn't make sense, what was mustard doing in Chinese thaal and what was chicken pulav doing here...Ohanna's should declare sweet corn soup as dessert of this thaal. While I was leaving the thaal half empty, I was just left with one thought...Why Chinese thaal???

I have put before and after pic of our thaal..

I can't believe when I actually saw the food, it was so bad, the quantity is humangous no doubt! But the quality is so bad! It's disheartening to see such kind of food served and later wasted. If you survive eating this food you would end up with some digestive disorder the next day.
1st the food was served cold after 45 mins waiting. Where as we had booked over the phone. The server said they make the vegetarian food fresh as the nveg is premade and hence takes time. So wondering how it cools down so quickly that the top layer of the rice shrinks back to the raw form!
There was tons of Cornflour in the food which made it jelly like. But the server says " which Chinese food doesn't have Cornflour?" Ow!!
When we left to make the payment, my friend actually spoke about the quality being bad, the guy just disappeared into the kitchen. When we turned to talk to the one of the counter, I guess he got offended as there are "All" good reviews. When we asked about the picture promotion on Facebook and the reality is so different, he bluntly said there were change in the logistics. Wondering, why hasn't the cost reduced in that case.

Rating- 1.9/5 - You have probably been seeing the Chinese Thaal at Ohanna's in videos on your Facebook feed and it has probably tempted you to go try it.

Don't just head over without reading this review first.

Honestly, this thaal is nothing more than a novelty, which is only good for a picture.

80% of the items are below average, sparing the Chicken Lollipop, Noodles and spring rolls (These 3 were average)

The Thaal is good for 4 people at ₹999 so it won't hurt your pockets but it won't satisfy you either.

Even if you could finish the thaal with 4 people, chances are that you won't want to because some of the items are inedible (3-4 of the chicken dishes were too hard to chew and 60% of the starters were too sweet)

What I didn't like and nor would you-

1) not warm enough
2) hard meat not tender. Inedible
3) too much MSG
4) most of the items were way too sweet
5) none of the items were above average.

Go here for the experience of having all the Chinese food you like otherwise on one plate but don't expect yourself to find anything more than just average.
The food is good as well as the Ambience only problem was that the chicken thali they said was available only prioir order of one day which is bad as we traveled from far and such information should be available for people

I recently had something called as ‘The great Thaal of China’ and I must say it is perfectly named. The thali was humongous and took three of us to finish it all. Taste was just heavenly. Delicious blend of Chinese cuisine, simply a culinary delight.

Talking about the place, it is a very comfy and cozy type of restaurant with beautiful yellow theme. Perfect for weekend hangouts as it is nearby Versova beach. So be it a family hangout or a date with ur bae, you must try this place.

Staff is super friendly and supportive and as I have visited this place thrice, I would recommend you to try the North Indian food here...It is amazing as well.

I had heard a lot about this place and decided to order some of their famous non-veg items. So for starters I tried the Ohannas Special Chicken and Prawns Koliwada. For mains I decided to go with their chicken pot rice and prawns manchurian rice.

The food came pretty quickly within 30 minutes and was quite hot and fresh. The prawns koliwada was very tasty and I loved the spicy masala that was used. I also liked the ohannas special chicken, which was basically a platter of three types of chicken starters namely chicken malai kebab, chicken hara kebab and chicken tikka. All had sufficient taste and the tikka was especially yummy.

The main dishes were rice and gravy based and both had sufficient quality for three people to eat. Ohannas has become one of my favorites for both chinese and seafood items.

this restaurant does indeed Known for comfort food made with organic, local, and seasonal ingredients. One can easily spot it because of it's unique yellow and white appearance .
This place is known for their excellent indian and Chinese cuisine, especially I'm huge indian food hogger and never liked that Chinese twist still I found some of their Chinese dishes are worth trying .
The place is small and as I mentioned earlier the whole place is decorated in yellow and white theme , makes it a very unique and good looking .
Now Coming back to what we tried ,

A hot afternoon walking around made us order something to drink and start the meal with ,
Mocktails :-
Blueberry:-
This Blueberry Mojito Mocktail is fresh, fruity, and perfect to beat this heat .

Milkshakes:-
Kesar badam milkshake :-
Nice thick texture because of almond paste and kesar ( saffron) gives this shake nice refreshing aroma and I bet you won’t stop after one glass of it.

Starters :-
We had one indian and another chinese starter ,
chicken pahadi kebabs :-
This pahadi kebabs are basil flavoured , perfectly marinated , earthy and smoky .
Highly recommended .

Chicken crispy :-
Unlike other crispy chicken their coating is bit hard but chicken was fresh and soft inside .

Coming to the mains ,
Chicken maharaja :-
Creamy & rich north indian chicken gravy with sweet yet spicy chicken pieces tastes great with butter naan .

Veg fried rice with chilli garlic sauce chicken gravy :-
This fried rice is packed with wonderful aroma of garlic and chilli and it goes really well with that chicken gravy.

Thankyou .
Happy fooding .

Lately, I've been to a number of restaurants in Andheri West and Ohanna's is definitely one of the best places I've been to, this month. It has a nice ambiance to it, simple and subtle. An amazing place to chill with your friends and family.
The owner Mr. Ishaan Arora is an amazing host and a very friendly guy. The dishes we had that day, were the ones he suggested, and they tasted really good.
We had Chilly Chicken which was amazing, the chicken pieces were bigger than usual. If you like spicy food, you should definitely try Chilly chicken. The other dishes that we had were North Indian dishes, we had Bureshi Kebab, Chicken Biryani, Chicken maharaja and butter naan.
The biryani was amazing. Chicken maharaj is a spicier variant of butter chicken, it tastes really good with naan. The kebabs were amazing.
We also had Mint Mojito and kiwi mint Mojito.
For dessert, we had a scoop of butterscotch ice cream.

Food - 5/5
Quality of service - 5/5
Ambiance - 4.5/5

The overall quantity and quality was pretty good. If you're in the neighborhood, looking for a place to dine, you must try Ohanna's.

Can we address the fact that ohannas has the sweetest staff ever!!!!! The restuarant is quite small but they have turned it into a very cozy place with yellow paint on the walls. They serve north Indian, Chinese as well as middle eastern cuisine. The service was quick.

We ordered

▶️Drinks

🔽Peach mint

🔽Virgin mojito

▶️Food

🔽Chicken platter

🔽chicken tawa masala

🔽Naan/paratha

🔽Chicken pot rice

Everything was extremely delicious. It took them time to prepare it means it was cooked fresh. Ohannas is a budget eating place. It serves delicious food and doesn't make a hole in your pocket.

I recently tried food from Ohaana's in 7 Bungalows.
I had heard a lot of praise about the food here...

We tried

Veg Crispy: Capsicum, carrot, baby corn, cauliflower and other veggies crispy fried and tossed in a sweet and salty mix of salt pepper , sauces and scallions. Really yummy.
I want to tell you guys that this starter was made really well. Some of the veggies were crispy next morning also.

Paneer tikka: Big pieces of Paneer, marinated and grilled in the tandoor, it tasted so good with the dip and the onion roundels. Taste wise it was really good but there could be some improvement on the front of it being a bit too oily.

Paneer Tikka Masala : Delicious gravy , good amount of paneer chunks and full of fresh cream. It tasted delicious with butter naan, a tad bit sweet a good amount of spicy and very well done. There was a generous amount of cream on the top.

Tawa Vegetables: Exotic and garden fresh veggies in a slight gravy with lots of cream. The gravy was really good, the veggies were so well cooked. Loved the onion flavour in the gravy.

The food here is really yum though I was not to happy with the packaging. That needs a lot of work
It is said that dont judge and book by its cover and Ohanna’s turned my myth down of believing that small joints are not nice place to hog on. Ohanna’s is a foodjoint located in versova near versova beach
Though it doesnt have attractive ambiance but its food talks louder than the ambiance 😂
Food is so mouthwatering and fingerlicking !
All i was fascinated was with its food and service. The staff was very humble and cooperative.
In food we had there
Starters
Veg Hara bhara kebab - assorted with rich cashews finely textured and made. served with salad of bellpepers.
Tiri miri chicken kebab - The chicken was very fresh abd juicy. served with sour yet mild spicy salad of cabbage.
Main course
Veg handi - mixed vegetable garnished with fresh cream. it was Moderate in taste of spice
chicken roganjosh - Juicy chicken which was BBQ roasted and then added to the gravy. proper blend of fresh cream and spices made me go gaga over it . wasnot less than butter chicken !
Desert
vanilla icecream topped with caramel
Ohanna's is an amazing place to visit with your family and friends. The warm and cozy ambiance really cheers up your mood. Liked the ambiance a lot. Simplicity at it's finest, that's how I can describe it.

The service was really good. We were amazed to see that we were being hosted by the owner of the place, Mr. Ishan Arora himself. Such small little things really makes the experience of a place memorable.

Apart from the ambiance and service, the food experience was also amazing. Enjoyed the food. It was great not just in terms of quality but in terms of quantity too. Also, it's pocket friendly, so an ideal place for college students.

So here's are a few things that I really enjoyed here:

Bureshi Kebab - a must try over here. The chicken was marinated well and really soft to eat. The coriander mint chutney served along with it was the cherry on the cake.

Chilly Chicken - loved the quantity. Also, the best part of it was that unlike other restaurants, the chicken pieces weren't small. The pieces served were big and delicious.

Chicken Maharaja - another must try over here. The right blend of spices and butter. Enjoyed best with naans or laccha paratha. An amazing dish.

Chicken Biryani - yet another must try. Had the right amount of spices and was full of flavours.

Other than the above mentioned dishes, also had the mint mojito and the kiwi mint. Both were good, but would suggest kiwi mint to everyone.

Really enjoyed my experience over here and thus giving it five stars. Would really suggest this place to everyone out there. A must go!

We ordered for chicken Koliwada online which was listed in the main course item on Zomato. what was delivered to us was chicken starter item. We called the restaurant which said that Zomato was responsible for this mistake. We had to coordinate between zomato & the restaurant which took like half an hour to resolve with no compensation offered except we dint pay for the wrong order they delivered. The whole point of ordering online is so we don’t coordinate between the restaurant & the delivery person. Only ordered from this place since it had a decent rating. Highly disappointed with the experience. I was always offered compensation when restaurant makes a mistake but these guys dint make it up for their mistake. Either it’s zomato or the restaurant, but that’s not our lookout else we won’t be ordering through this app. !!! bill has been attached for reference & check the zomato list for online delivery to understand the mistake they did.
