I've grown up eating cakes and pastries from Monginis and it's sad to see it in it's current state. The quality and taste of cakes and pastries has degraded over the years. There's limited number of options to choose from and that too don't taste good as they're nothing but creamy bread. The cakes and pastries are definitely not recommendable in my opinion.<br/><br/>The snack items is what keeps me visiting the place as they taste good, it's quality is good and the pricing is also right. Double delight chocolate is all time favorite from monginis. Perfect to choose for , Chandivali one doesn't have the birthday caps and candles so suggestion is to please keep these things also.

Monginis used to be a go to place for cakes & pastries but now the quality has degraded so much that even first timers make better cakes<br/><br/>They sell coloured breads without cream in the name of cakes & pastries which taste horrible<br/><br/>They've options for snacks as well & same review goes for them<br/>First of all they hardly have anything & even if they've anything good it gets over by noon<br/><br/>I don't even understand how this shop is still running

Review No 249:<br/><br/>The brand still has a good recall value but the various franchisee's need to be able to compliment that. Some of their branches are exceedingly good on stocking up supplies and service and some leave a lot to be desired.<br/><br/>This outlet falls in the latter. Being a stone's throw distance from my parent's home, I've frequented them quite a few times to be left with that so-so kind of feeling. With real no competition in the vicinity, it’s a take it or leave it equation.<br/><br/>Being flocked by a huge family populace, this outlet could definitely do better. I had ordered a black forest cake total bill was of rs 275 but after few mints got call from cake shop saying I have to pay 310 ,etc being delivery charges.<br/><br/>Why should I pay more that of bill amount if delivery was chargable why the bill amount shows 275.why shop is asking for than the bill amount.<br/>@<br/>I feel cheated here.

Extraordinarily bad customer service experience. I am glad I did not order the cake as I am pretty sure that it would have been equally bad. They said that they will charge Rs200 extra for home delivery of cake at an apartment about 1 kms far. Plus they will not make the delivery unless someone comes and pays in full in advance. Most unhelpful and unprofessional customer service. Either they are complacent or they just don't care.

Fully agree with Asad Khan's review. I was trying to describe the cake I just ate and it actually was a bread covered with cream and stale fruits on top of it. Congratulations Monginis you have achieved the highest expertise in baking lowest quality cakes.

This place is the WORST place to have anything! <br/>There is not much choice in the cakes they offer nor do they have good pastries!<br/>The cheese on the veg pizza is just so bad that I don't want to describe it. The non veg pizza's chicken has to be chewed a lot and the vegetables don't taste fresh at all! <br/><br/>I really want all my viewers to beware of these mini land mines which are spread all across the city :P<br/>Make a wise decision ;)

The taste and quality of monginis has gone down to a great extent. I used to prefer this place for cakes everytime there was an occasion. I don't even feel like having a pastry from here now. I prefer cakes from Ribbons and balloons. Other snacks like puffs, pizzas, etc. have been consistent in taste though.

Monginis is our 'emergency' snacks shop! Unannounced guests, my daughter's sudden Black-Forest cravings are mitigated here. <br/><br/>Go any time of the day, Monginis has a good stock of pastries and cakes and patties/burgers. And so what Theobroma and other high-end pastry shops have opened in Powai? Monginis is still for the saviour when it comes to bulk order. Their pastries are reasonably priced – amazed that most are still under INR 50! Very affordable. And the taste isn’t bad either.<br/>Best part is, they have a flower shop right outside. So, in case of emergency celebration situations, you’ve got the cake guy and the flower guy sitting together!!! :-D
