Review Ruhani Restaurant - Mumbai

We visited this place on one evening of the weekday. The food was really fantastic the quantity and quality were really good. The size of roti is bigger than other restaurants. The only thing that was going against them is being served everything hurriedly. They offer us comfortable seating within 5 minutes as well as served starter and main course together, which was not acceptable.

Quite amazing mughlai food here at a very affordable rate.. chicken seekh kabab although a little less portion was really very tasty paired with mint leaves, lemon, mint sauce .. 90/- mutton Afghani comes in nice and tasty red Gravy with omlette and 3-4 good pieces to go with it... 220/- tawa chapati goes nicely with all above .. 17/- they have a very wide menu with shawarmas, chinese, biryanis etc . also nice choices for sweet dish items as well.. definitely recommended place

I have been visiting this restaurant whenever I come to Mumbai. They have different sitting areas as well for family. Quality is amazing and quantity is okay for price. Mutton Salli gosht is worth every bite

One of the oldest places in Bombay for delicious cuisines, grills, and sweet.. I've been visiting this place for so long and it never disappoints me.. Just one draw back is the roti/butter naan are very thick.. Otherwise the gravies and starters are mouth watering.. Prices are very reasonable 👍

Really nice experience here. We ordered palak paneer and Dahl with garlic naan. The waiter dished out our food for us. The place is a little rough and ready but you get over that for the price of the food which is really excellent.

Gulshan Restaurant left me utterly delighted with the most amazing seekh kabab I've ever had. The flavors were simply out of this world, and their roti was the perfect accompaniment. The mutton curry was a standout, truly exceptional. Despite being a crowded restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised that I could secure a seat quite quickly. A must-visit for those seeking delectable flavors and a warm ambiance!

This is one of the most recommended and a bit overrated non-vegetarian restaurant in Mumbai. The food tastes delicious but the quantity is less. You might need to wait most of the time, seating is a bit congested and there is a very small dining table. They really need to improve the service, half of the staff is rude and don't listen or walk away. Please note that this place is cash only and they don't accept anything other than cash.

I went to this place to eat recently, and the food was really yummy, and the service was super good. Plus, the prices were affordable. If you're with your family, you can sit upstairs, otherwise, just grab a seat downstairs. I ordered the chicken leg tikka and butter naan, and they were not only delicious but also easy on the wallet. I wanted to try their mutton keema, but they were out of it. By the way, I walked there from the train station, following Google Maps, but it took me through a smelly meat market, and it was kinda gross. So, I'd recommend finding a different way to avoid that unappetizing scene.

"I recently visited Gulshan-e-Iran restaurant and was blown away by the amazing food and service. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with beautiful decor and comfortable seating. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was simply outstanding, with a wide range of delicious dishes that were cooked to perfection. The flavors and aromas were simply mouth-watering, and I could not have asked for a better dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Gulshan-e-Iran to anyone looking for a great meal.

A very pleasant place to go for a family meal good ambience. The ground floor is usually full on the upper floor there is a small Ac section with about 8 tables only. The section is not very cool but staff especially the captain Akhil was very cooperative. The malaitikka has mayonnaise So those who like me are not big fans of it be careful.they immediately took it back without a murmur and we got tikka achari instead.the biryani was okk but the best thing was rabri kulfi so also the shahi tukda with rabri is laajawab so those who have a sweet tooth this is a must

The restaurant is at the heart of city Chatrapati Sivaji Maharaj Terminus Railway Station. It is one of the authenticated Irani restaurant which serves good quality and good taste food. They have very minimum rates compared to other restaurants. The staff is too co-operative and very friendly. Must visit once in lif if u visit mumbai. They mainly focus on non veg, but they too have veg option. Veg option is minimum but tastes good.

All time favourite restaurant whenever you visit Manish market

One of the best non veg restaurants in Bombay. I've visited this place a total of 3 times and every single time I've had the best experience. The nalli nihari, seekh kabab, Chicken tikka masala, Biryani, Tandoori roti are just droolworthy. More importantly the rates are fair and you totally get your money's worth if not more. And the desserts too are simply amazing. We had tried the rabri kulfi and falooda both equally delicious. Believe me, this is huge coming from me, a native of Hyderabad which is basically a foodie's heaven.

Ruhani is one of the oldest Irani cafe at Mohammed Ali road, a snack joint aswell as lunch/dinner joint.<br/>Thier chai with bun maska is one of my favourites. <br/>This place has simple ambience and normal seating but trust me guys they serve unbelievable food, thier Tandoori, biryani is mouthwatering. It’s a hidden gem at mohd ali road, thier Tandoori roti and chicken laziz is the best combination.<br/>Pocket friendly restaurant with courteous attendants.

Well we had gone for tea but ended up having their seekh kababs. The ambience is irani style with comfortable chairs and marble top tables. We loved the ambience and the spacy interiors. Looks like an old fashioned restaurent with good ol irani food. Will do an indepth review soon

Softest Seekhs in the Town.<br/><br/><br/>About the Place.<br/><br/>Ruhani is just another lost Irani cafe that deals with middle Class people for a Quick bite and Serves Good Chai Bun on the Go.<br/><br/><br/>Ambience <br/><br/>Despite showing glimpses of Irani Ambience nothing is maintained throughout.<br/>You can see broken glasses or mirrors everywhere with half cracked furniture tables and chairs to dwell on.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Service <br/><br/><br/>It’s just two People hovering around the place and you have to shout your lungs out just to even get a glass of water.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Food.<br/><br/>Everything here is below the standard mark but the reason what holds this place is their Seekh Kebab<br/>Despite of having number of Mughlai restaurants around the Vicinty,<br/>The Seekh Kebab here stands out as the softest and the most Tasteful Seekh in the Town.<br/><br/><br/>Hygiene.<br/><br/>Next to nothing <br/><br/><br/>Budget for two : 300 ₹<br/><br/><br/>Verdict: Just go for their Seekh kebab.

Awesum experience☆☆☆...tasty and delicious food ... decent service...well maintainance of cleanliness ...easy and convienent to reach...awesum experience of tandoori chai in mud glass(mitti ka glass) ...near crowford market on the main road...once experienced will make you come again and again... situated in the main market so well and good to visit while shopping ...well behaved staff...no free wi-fi available...Hotel staff and food was satisfactory.....reasonable cost...experience was remarkable...quite slow service therefore we had to wait for the food ...can improve much better...There are so many varaities both in veg category as well as in non-veg category...but one of the drawback was that one of the dish was not available when I went so it's better to make sure that all the food are available to be served or the foods which you would like to prefer to have is available when you want to visit ...Non-veg items served by the restaurant is worth to have...must try it atleast once...Another drawback of this restaurant is non availability of air-conditioner facility and also due to the little crowd I had to sit and had my food in such atmosphere as it was very hot ...So making air-conditioner facility available would make the service provided by the restaurant 10 times better

If i had to choose just one word to summarize entire experience of this hotel then it would be "Marvellous". This hotel is situated at Mohammed Ali Road and you can easily notice while driving/walking. When you walk in you will not find any atrractive ambience here but trust me dosent let this structure fool you, its really a hidden gem. Since its a Muslim restaurant, you will find sayings written in Urdu all over the place. Then there are attendents, im purposely using word Attendent instead of Waiters simply because unlike other restaurants they will not just take your order and leave, they will suggest you the best dish they have if you share your preferences. I was attended by an elderly person may be in his fifties, his name was Mohammed Kasim but you can call him Kasim Chacha. First thing you will notice about him is his smile, he will quickly read a menu for you and suggest a best dish and will be always aroumd the corner to serve you in beat poasible way. I ordered Chicken Seekh Kebab, Chicken Laziz and Tandoori Roti. Chacha served with regular intervals allowing me to take time and savour the dishes. First came Kebabs, it was juicy little ones but enough to startle your taste buds, served along with Pudina leaves and green chuttney. You can try having a bite of Kebab, pudina leaf and chuttney and you will never forget the taste. After that it was a turn for Chicken Laziz and Tandoori Roti, chicken laziz is a prepared by using special salan (thick gravy) and tandoori chicken boneless pieces. Salan was just too yumm and i couldn't resist to taste it first, even before having chicken pieces. Chicken was properly cooked and it was soaked in salan which gave an ultimate taste to it. Roti was soft and melting easily once dippes in salan. When thia dish was served, i started clicking pictures of it and Kasim chacha came along and advised to have me salan early as it tastes best when its hot, i followed the advice and it turned out to be awesome. And at the end, it was a turn of Mataka Rabadi. It was cool, tasty and best among their desserts. Once you start eating this, you cant stop until you empties the matka.<br/>Overall this is value for money place and ill recommend all of you to visit this once and trust me you will come again and again.<br/>And lastly dosent forget to be spellbounded by Kasim Chacha's humbleness and smile. I asked him for a pic but somehow couldn't capture his smile as he seemed to be frawned upon. I've attached his pic as well so you can easily spot him.<br/>With this ill end this review, do visit this place and happy munching guys!

This place is on the opposite side of the Minara Masjid lane in Mohammed Ali Road. You won't spot it so easily because it's not that extravagant, but step in for once and this place will leave you dumbfound. ✨<br/>We honestly never expected this restaurant to be so beautiful on the inside. It has old painted tiles and mirrors on every wall with even separate cabins for families to have a private meal. It just looks like the owners knew their game when they made this restaurant come alive.<br/>✨<br/>Coming to the food and service, the waiters can be spotted wearing a red polo neck tshirt and are very diligent when serving you. ✨<br/>We ordered chicken fried rice, egg pulav, bhurji pav, and the matka rabdi. The food was just as excellent as the restaurant is. The quantity is amazing for the price, we were so full by the end of our lunch! The matka rabdi was so fresh and wasn't very sweet, which translates to amazing because we don't love anything with a lot of artificial sweetening. So don't leave without this dessert. Also, to specifically mention, the rotis here were truly one of the softest ones we've ever had.

The food was great and delicious.<br/>I had dinner and breakfast 🥞 here and the best part is that the staffs are knowledgeable and advised us to go for the best dish available at the same time which was affordable.
Daivik Salian
Good place if your budget is less.<br/>Ambience is not that good but,<br/>Service is better.<br/>Taste wise the food is also good.<br/>Overall review, "a good place."<br/>Must try:<br/>Kheema fry.<br/>Chicken tikka.<br/>Chicken fired rice.<br/><br/>

A good place to have tasty food especially non veg at pocket friendly rates. The place is vintage and not too classy but still worth having food on a casual day. The food is worth every penny paid. It's a very old style irani cafe types which may need renovation.
Archit Mehrotra
The restraunt should change its name to "VINTAGE". The ambience of the place will give you a feeling of the 70's, the food tasted fine and the rates are pocket friendly.

This was my second visit to this lovely old restaurant!! I should say one of its kind! Unlike the new restaurants, this restaurant gives the feel of the good old days dining experience.. <br/>We had Seekh kabab and paratha.. This is their specialty I feel! Amazing..! The rates are very affordable and the food is yum too! <br/>So if you are looking for something very affordable and an old dining experience then this place is apt. <br/>Though there can be improvements made on the ambiance of the restaurant, this place is worth a try !
Saket Kr
The place was built in 1973 and looks like hasn't been renovated since then but No doubt it gives you a retro feel.<br/>The restaurant flaunts only a handful of chicken starters.<br/>We had Chicken tikka,Chana Masala and Butter Chicken. All of the dishes tasted average.<br/>The positives are : its pocket friendly , less crowded , quick service.

They will perish, in coming few years they will have to shut shop if this is the standard of running a restaurant/cafe. On my quest for experiencing yet another eatery on mdali road, i found this place on the corner of the road. Like most other eateries this also looks like an old place with some history.<br/><br/>The food is disgusting, sorry for being blunt. Ordered seekh kabab paratha and chai. The seekh kabab was horrible, the use of abundant artificial color simple blew my fuse. The chai was good. <br/><br/>One word : Disappointed.
