This was clearly the Best of the Best cakes we have ever had and we have had quite a few ! She matches the international levels of taste, texture, moisture and sweetness. This was the first time I was ordering a theme cake for my 2 year old's birthday. So it had to be special, as it would be his first time too to see something he likes and adores. He loves animals and his favourite is the Cow. So we decided to go with the Farm animal theme cake. Hiroo's team sent me just the right photos and a tiny cake tasting to let me choose them. I didnt see any other baker around for the staff ensured that everything I want in the cake, I will get! They advised me right to put lesser characters to make the cake look big. They changed the placement of all the characters as I wanted. All in all, super cake, super taste, great finishing, courteous team!

We stumbled upon desserts r us on google search wen we were looking for a wedding cake decorator literally last minute and trust me that was pure luck or just another good decision! Hiroo is a super talented woman who has a lot of creativity to offer! I personally am not a fan of fondant cakes but she made sure that i had a sample of her cake and change my mind! We loved the dark chocolate cake and decided to go with a 9kg cake with a very tricky design. ( photo attached) There is a lot of brain and hard work put into this cake to make it look so grand! The cake tasted delicious and all we heard were praises! We will definitely be ordering more from hiroo and her team. Very humble and cooperative staff as well! Cannot wait for another reason to order cake!

I needed a very specific cake and I'd called in to have Ms. Gidwani attend to my call herself. She was extremely warm and helpful and gave me great recommendations for a cake I needed delivered in just about 3 hours.
I finally opted for the fresh fruit cake but requested her to make it with more bread and less cream and it was exactly that! It was also decorated so beautifully!
What's more is that my mum and aunt who mostly pick on cakes, thoroughly relished this one and the entire cake was wiped out in under 10 minutes!

I had to place two last minute orders for eggless cake and they obliged by baking the same instantly. The fresh mango cake and the hazelnut almond chiffon cake were simply toooo good. Cookies were also awesome. If you ever want to cheat on calories, think of no other option but their creations 😊

AWESOME cakes! Yesterday was hubby's bday and I was looking for a bakery/desserts shop who would deliver at home. I am not from Mumbai and and neither did I have a vehicle with me and nor much of an idea of a good place in Colaba that could cater to my requirement. I googled for cake shops near by and I found Desserts "R" Us.
I called them and they were open to delivering inside the Colaba Cantt. I asked for flavours, transferred money online, and the cakes were delivered! The entire process was so seamless without having me to step outside even for a minute. The cakes were beautifully decorated and tasted par awesome.

So I wanted a sugar free cake for my mum's birthday. Why sugarfree, u ask? Cause you feel less guilty ;) I had to goto Colaba to pick my cake since it was my first time at Desserts "R" Us and I wanted to see the place for myself. Saraswati, the manager/staff, is very courteous and polite. She helped with ordering a good cake and directions since the place isn't on the main road. Coming to the cake, it was delicious! I ordered belgium chocolate sugarfree and while it is expensive (SF), it was excellent. Not tooo sweet and pretty chocolatey! I recommend the place to all :) Quality is great!
Excellent chocolate chiffon almond hazel cake! Smooth taste...this cake grows on you with every bite! A “must try” for sure. Imp- the packing box is one of the best. Some other places give you a limp box which gets the cardboard/paper smell. The boxes at Desserts r Us are coated inside(I think!) so there’s no odd smell coming from the cake. This for me is a huge plus point. Have had experiences at other places where you can’t eat the cake as it has a paper smell. The cakes are super delicious here!!

I had got my daughters 5th birthday cake done from them. I was so happy with Hiroo she took personal care helped find my daughter's favourite character to add to the cake. She is very resourceful and tries to help you fit things in your budget. Everyone loved the cake. I would highly recommend this place.

Had ordered brother's engagement cake from here and it was nothing short of fabulous! The cake was a double storied chocolate cake. It was the best cake I have had in a long time. The guests couldn't stop mentioning about how much they loved the cake and how delicious it was. The fondant was also very nice unlike the usual ones, it was not too sugary. Totally loved it! I ordered a customized cake with army theme. I explained the concept to Hiroo, and she was extremely patient and helped me conceptualize the cake. The cake turned out to be better than what I had imagined. Perfect in look as well as taste. Even the fondant used in this cake was too tasty and unlike the regular fondant I have eaten in other places which is synthetic and sugary in taste. This cake was certainly a big hit at our party. The best keto (or for that matter non-keto) cakes I hv ever tasted. Wanted the cakes as a last minute decision to carry out of Mumbai (one for a birthday and one for an anniversary). I had both cakes at my doorstep in 45 minutes flat (order to delivery). They were very helpful with making a decision since I would not be having access to a fridge while traveling.
