Review Maitri Restaurant & Bar - Mumbai

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Maitri and dining at their restaurant and bar, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Here's why I think this place is worth considering: Service: The service provided by the hotel staff was excellent. They were attentive, friendly, and always willing to assist. From the moment I arrived until I checked out, the staff made sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. They promptly addressed any queries or requests I had, which greatly enhanced my stay. Location: One of the standout features of Hotel Maitri is its proximity to Thane Station. The convenience of being just a short distance away from the station made commuting around the area extremely easy. Whether you're visiting Thane for business or leisure, the hotel's location is undoubtedly advantageous. Food: The restaurant and bar at Hotel Maitri served delicious food. I had the opportunity to try various dishes during my stay, and each meal was flavorful and satisfying. The menu offered a wide range of options to cater to different preferences. The presentation of the food was also commendable, and the portions were generous. Ambience: The ambience of the restaurant and bar was pleasant and inviting. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. It was an ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a meal or a drink after a long day. The seating arrangements were comfortable, allowing for a comfortable dining experience. Areas for Improvement: While my overall experience was positive, there are a few areas that could be improved upon. Firstly, the noise levels in the restaurant can sometimes get a bit high, especially during peak hours. Additionally, the variety of vegetarian options on the menu could be expanded to cater to a wider range of dietary preferences. In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Maitri and my dining experience at the restaurant and bar were enjoyable. The excellent service, convenient location near Thane Station, and delectable food make it a worthy choice for anyone visiting the area. With a few minor improvements, this establishment has the potential to become even more exceptional

The place is nice for an affordable range. The staff is very polite and service is pretty fast even during peak times. The ambience is really good. They arranged lights and various types of sittings so added bonus is there. Even some good quotes are there which people might enjoy. Food : 8/10 Service : 9/10 Ambience : 10/10 Rates: 9/10

No frills place. Two choices. Dingy crowded, dark downstairs OR neat and clean, air conditioned upstairs. Prices are regular. Didn't like the +GST thingy. Staff and courtesy ... brilliant. Beers fairly chilled. Food, do try Chicken Star Crispy. Some might find it spicy. I felt fair quantity of sour and punch of pungent on th far side, giving it a bit of edge. Not family or ladies feel comfortable type of place. Typical boys place. I did say a must try.

Good food with a nice ambience near Thane Station...

Good food and good alcohol variety. Decent place to hang out with friends. Special mention here is they serve all starters in half plate also which enables you to try out more starters with your beer.

Very good restaurant. One floor for normal seating. 1st floor for AC. Variety of dishes available both veg and non veg. All type of alcohol served. Only problem is vehicle parking. No space for parking as the restaurant is right outside the station.

It is Located to the opposite side Thane station [ East ]. A decent bar with quality food. Prices are affordable l. They do have to sections ac& non ac. Staff is friendly and courteous.

The advantages of this hotel are its location (just opposite to railway station) & the prices. Also, there is separate takeaway counter outside so that the visitors don't need to enter the bar, which is good. The quality & taste are almost at par with other restaurants in nearby area.

On Sunday 24th we had been to this place,second time in last 15 days.We ordered(taken by Narendra) veg fried rice n chicken garlic.It was very good as last time.I ordered butter chicken for parcel.It was very bad as tandoor pieces were not used.I hope they take serious note of this.

The food were most of the time nice but if you order "Mutton Kheema" they might cheat you with "Chicken kheema", assuming you won't notice. sometimes the taste drops down to shit but most of the time it's fine.<br/>Like today I got cheated. It's like russian roulette. Play wisely, haha.

This restaurant is just outside the Thane station east, although its not perfect weekend hangout place but it serves the purpose whenever you are looking for regular munching place with cheap alcohol (except beer). Ambience is quite good although not best,<br/>The food quality here is awesome specially Tandoori Chicken and Chicken star Chrispy. They serve the Hot Schezwan Sauce which is The Best Schezwan sauce I ever Had.<br/>What I dont like about restaurant is Beer prices here I think they are overpriced. Service is quite fast and staff is courteous and polite.<br/>Overall good restaurant in Thane east.<br/>

A few steps away from Thane East Railway Station, this restaurant and bar feels like the prime hub for late night dinner and drinks for the localities. Been here quite a few times now. Good decor, comfortable seating and few variety in the seating are the features of this place. The value for money point is also checked with a reasonable costing for everything that is served.

Nice ambience and seatings. The food was served hot and fresh. And the prices are also really reasonable. Worth visiting with your friends for small hangout.

Exactly opposite to Thane Rly Stn East. Best place to spend time, have good food and drinks. Both Non AC & AC Sections are worth visiting this Restaurant. Being popular among Thanekars, Office Goers who travel via Thane, makes this place crowded and you need to wait... Tom & Jerry drooling at Masala Papad in the pic posted by me was just a random click...

Worst experience. Order malai kofta when delivered it was some dessert stuff, called back to complain and the restaurant was closed. DO NOT ORDER MALAI KOFTA FROM HERE..

Have not visited this place but have always ordered from here. They have half plate system for the starters which makes it very convenient for a single person to order. Makes a difference for me as I am the only non vegetarian in my family.<br/>The food is good and hygienic.<br/>Chicken Seekh kebabs are perfect and one of my favourite from this place. Also love the egg fried rice from here.<br/>Tasty food and reasonable pricing makes it a perfect place for me to order.

Perfect location right outside the thane railway station on the East exit. Quite and peaceful setup in the AC section.The chicken tandoori is fresh tender and yummy. Drinks are well priced like the other local resto bars and the staff is well mannered and the service is prompt.

Pretty okay place...being right outside the railway station is a big advantage. Service is good but pricing is a bit of a consideration as bars close to station generally r cheaply priced. Reach early on Friday evenings and Weekends else you will have to wait long to get a table. Try Chicken Star Crispy, Chicken Chatpata and Neer Dosa with Chicken Curry. Yummy.

Don't get fooled with the prices mentioned here on Zomato.. owner gone crazy . Charging way to premium on food and booze. They are serving Rs. 5 chakli at rs. 30. And wo charge VAT on liquor?? Is the a new way of fooling customer? Pathetic experience.

Completely satisfied with the facilities of these hotel .......... it is near to railway by walking it may take max to max 5min of urs..... it is typical type of bar where we can have birthday parties also ............. for interior decoration and furniture my rating are 4/5...... and for food 5/5....... and the serving was also quite fast and the waiters were polite and friendly with usss....

Today, we have ordered food from this restaurant I.e. chicken hydrabadi biryani and chilly prawns for two of us. Believe me it had sufficient quantity. Taste was also good. I just liked it😊

This typical bar is directly opposite to thane railway station. Have 3 different section. Food, especially tandoor items are good , Biryani is average but their hospitality is bad. The waiter seemed to be racist and had issues with every thing we asked. We tried to tolerate as we were in good mood but finally left the place for some other bar. Liquor is cheap.

Pathetic service, arrogant delivery person, took more than an hour to deliver the food. You will only find chopped green chillies in the food. It's ridiculously spicy, can't even eat a single spoon. Ordered manchow soup n dal tadka, which they spoiled it by putting green chillies to extreme.

Stepped in this afternoon for a beer & also ended having lunch.... ordered a gravy & butter paratha.... the quantity was huge and could not finish entire plate...gravy, paratha, roti all were bigger in size & quantity compared to most of the restaurants .. service was good and fast ... My ratings: Service: 5/5, Ambience: 3/5, Food: 4/5.... is also reasonably priced (much less than Moni's in west)... photos are not that gd as took them at halfway mark

This restaurant has been recently renovated. And that has been an amazing change. I went to this place last weekend after a long time and just loved the interiors and seating arrangements. I had a disappointing experience with the food quality in the past. But this time the food was tasty. We had chicken biryani and crispy, which were delicious. This place is bang opposite to thane station (east)

Been here with friends a couple of times for drinks. Usually filled on weekends, but it's a place you can hang out with your friends as it is more of a bar than a restaurant. Wide variety of all drinks available. Chicken crispy and Chicken tandoori are the best starters available which go along with chilled beer. Prices are moderate and starters are very tasty. Apart from that also had Chicken Triple schezwan noodles which was okay. All in all, a good place to bond with your buddies with some drinks and starters.

The food is just amazing over here! The quantity of food they give will surely make you full. Try their 'Tandoori Lollypop' as well as Punjabi n Chinese! Never disappoints!<br/> <br/>However, sometimes, the staff is arrogant when ordering food via phone.

I ordered dal khichadi and raita online through zomato, food was delivered much before time, packing was very neat and taste was great. This was my first order and I think I am going to try out non veg soon.

I had called for mutton sukka with roti which seemed okayish and also for buttermilk with less masala which was slightly above average so all together an average experience.

It's a typical bar and rest but it has ac section also which is very clean I was expecting the food would be OK but when we tasted food the first word was wow seriously the food served here is very tasty.

In Test no doubt one of best in this class. All tried dishes since last (as being old customer) year all were authentic and tasty. But the way quantity getting less, I think in future we will only received bill for food order nothing else😏. But no compromise for Test and Quality so good to go. Good Food. Very good quantity. One dish can serve 3 people easily. Reasonably charged. The new boxes for delivery are not that good, as they leak.

This is one of my go to places to order from. They have a pretty good system where they have all the required details stored. They make placing an order a super easy task. <br/>I mostly order Chicken Dum Biryani with lollipop. Their biryani has a really tasty masala. The chicken is slightly dry though. I ask them to not put in egg pieces. <br/>I have also had Chicken Kadai and Garlic Naan. The Chicken Kadai is absolutely yummy. I have even developed a liking for their veg biryani(which I never have anywhere else).<br/>Best part about ordering in is ordering a masala papad. These guys are so great, they carefully pack 4 bags for it. The sev, onion and tomato, spices and the papad come individually packed. It makes the price totally worth it. <br/>I have never been here for dine in so cannot comment on the ambience. They make up for it with their amazing packaging and quantity. The food comes packed is these huge containers and they absolutely do not skimp on quantity. For the same price, you'd only get about half the amount of food anywhere else. <br/>I love ordering from this place. I have them on speed dial. Whenever I'm craving for some spicy non-veg food i call up this restaurant. It serves a wide range of dishes and it hasn't let me down on any yet. They send an appetizing quantity and is pocket friendly. Thumbs up to this place.

This place is bang opposite thane stn east. Suitable only for guys. They have 2 sections,lower and upper. The lower section has low lights and is only for drinking. The upper section is a lot more premium. Decent crowd hangs out here. The food here is paisa wasool. Right from starters to main course the food won't disappoint you. Chicken drumstick, butter chicken, chicken patiala, chicken 65 are highly recommended. A decent place if you have a guys gang or are looking for a drink
