A hidden gem Maulana Shaukat Ali road near Mohamed Ali road. We had some amazing Bheja fry - absolutely creamy and melt in the mouth, right amount of spices, but definitely very rich and not for the health conscious. We also tried mutton cream roll, all the shawarmas and other rolls are a total fail in front of this. This street is less hyped and less crowded than the MA road and if you are looking at a peaceful and non-fancy place to have meals, this is a must try. Phirni is mildly sweet and perfectly creamy set in a clay bowls. Must visit and must try.

Keema Baida Roti an Indian bread – maida roti filled with minced chicken or mutton with egg. It is shallow fried in oil on a Tawa until the roti turns out to be golden & crispy. Very very delicious but quite heavy. The other delicious mouthwatering dishes i would strongly recommend and a must have and not to be missed are 'Chicken Pappe with Cheese' & 'Chicken Cheese Baida Roti'.

Had ordered maharaja chicken shawarma today but what came was buffalo meat. This is a matter which needs to be addressed by the owners of the restaurant. I have attached the pic for reference. Special maharaja shawarma is quite special. It is bigger in size when compared to a chicken shawarma which I had once tried from them. Well stuffed juicy chicken and lots of chutney and spices. Certainly not at all bad to get that good shawarma at a steal worthy price.

Chicken tikka roll and chicken kashmiri pulao were both good. Kashmiri pulao has a good fragrance of saffron and flavour of dry fruits but a little sweet which not everyone would prefer.

Reached early here this time as most of the mutton delicacies are over if you reach late. Ordered the Tawa Gurda which was served with Pav. Cooked well but the gravy could have been thicker. But atleast the taste was not compromised. Went on to order the regulars then, Chicken Cheese Baida Roti, Chicken Naan Sandwich and the Chicken Roll all upto the mark as always. I was on a food walk with my friends in Bohri Mohala and this place was one of the places in our list. I got myself the Mutton Bhuna Sandwich. It consisted of pieces of mutton cooked in some gravy which was Sandwiched between buttery buns along with scrambled eggs. Jilani fast food corner is in one of the bylanes of Byculla very close to Mohammed Ali Road. There is a small Tawa cum kitchen in front of you. There are chairs for customers but no tables and hence you have to eat holding the plate in your hand or keeping it on the counter. The food isn't much to right home about, there is your standard Mughlai paratha which is very oily. Their chicken pav is quite decent, medium spicy with soft tender chicken.

Decided to eat at Mohammad Ali road during ramazaan and my friend brought me to this Resturant. I tried 3 items, the mutton bhuna, chicken bhuna and the chicken dragon roll, although this place gave me a really strange vibe about if the meat being served was legit chicken and mutton and not dog/cat(a vibe which every Resturant in the area gave me actually) I decided to go through with the food. The mutton bhuna was quite amazing, and so was the chicken bhuna, the chicken dragon roll through was absolutely disgusting, one of the worst items I've ever eaten, soaked in weird tasting oil, probably which was reused throughout the day to make multiple other items(CANCER).One bite of it just made me throw away the rest into the trash can.

We friends have been having their stuff for ramadan walks for the past few years. They do serve some mean carnivore stuff in tawa style. The place is located in a small alley near the Saifi ambulance lane. . <br/><br/>The chicken baida roti is my most favourite thing here. It can easily beat the overhyped and overpriced stuff at Ayubs(Fort). It does have 2 tables to seat but as it is right on the road in the path of the traffic, enjoying the stuff while standing is recommended. We are huge fans of the tawa bheja masala served here. To be mopped with the unique burger shaped nans the silky textured and mildly spiced dish will definitely keep you salivating for more. For the more spicy inclined try their black pepper bheja masala.<br/><br/><br/>This time we ordered their bhuna chicken which are small boneless bits of chicken in a reddish dry gravy. But it was average at its best.<br/>Heard their nan sandwiches and chicken Kasturi is popular too.

It is shallow fried in oil on a Tawa until the roti is turns out to be golden & crispy. Very delicious and quite heavy.<br/><br/>CHICKEN SPECIAL TAWA ROLL is also some-what similar to baida* roti. It is an Indian version of Spring Rolls filled with minced Chicken and egg nicely spread on the maida* roti and cooked in oil. The ingredients and preparation are far tasty and appetizing as compared to the Baida* roti. They are also shallow fried until the roll turns out to be golden and crunchy.<br/><br/>CHICKEN SPECIAL BHUNA NAAN-CHAAP is yet another Indian version of the traditional Sandwich but with twist. The bread (Naan) also known as mini sheermal is a saffron flavoured traditional flat bread made out of maida*, leavened with yeast and baked in an oven/tandoor. Bhuna chicken is an extension of the process where meat is added to the spices and then cooked in its own juices which results in deep strong flavours but very little sauce. The naan* is filled with bhuna, cut into 4 pieces and served sizzling hot. The rich flavours and Indian spices mixed in the sandwich is absolutely enriching and luscious.<br/><br/>The above mentioned dishes are a must try not only at Jilani Food corner but anywhere in India if you are trying the Tawa cuisines. The experience and the food is un-match able which no type of fine dine restaurants can give you. It is completely a street food type of dishes and a complete value for money joint. The quantity and quality is also good enough but do not expect anything like the typical restaurants of Mumbai. Well well. <br/>Took some of my friends to try Non-veg street food.<br/>Being a vegetarian, I was unsure if this place would be good(Just went by the reviews I heard from Zomato).<br/>The place did not disappoint. <br/>Definite Try <br/>Chicken Spl. Baida Roti (Really heavy for single person. hence be conscious while ordering  this item)<br/>In Ramzan, try the Tawa specials (But you have to wait a lot as deliveries are being rolled out) !<br/>Chichken Tikka Roll

Street food at its best. Started from humble beginnings Jilani now has a cult following. <br/>The menu is a repertoire of chicken, lamb and lamb gizzard including in a thick gravy cooked on a large tawa aka bhuna items. <br/>I love the chicken bhuna its fantabulous. <br/>They also have baida rotis and rolls. <br/>But their house speciality is bheja, gurda and kaleji.

Jilani quiet famous during the month of Ramzan is a must visit for all the non veg lovers!<br/>Try anything on their menu and you won't be disappointed! :)
