Though a little costly, this is the best place to buy cakes. The quality of Birdy's cakes is far superior than other cake shop. The below photo is 500gm cake which consists of Chocolate, Red Velvet and Orange flavour. The topping was done by Vanilla Mousse instead of cream. It was too good !!!

Birdys has always been a fancy option for us 90s kids cause it has always been a little heavier on the pocket as compared to other cake shops but however they have the best cakes one could devour.<br/>I personally prefer their dark chocolate cake but more over I am such a huge fan of their chicken puffs and croissants that I could finish a dozen of them in one go.<br/>The quality is great at this outlet and the food and cakes are fresh.<br/>

Beware of Deep Deterioration in Quality<br/><br/>Found the famous Birdy’s Almond Rocks as available after a long time and ordered them excitedly. Shockingly, the quality of the chocolate is so much inferior, it’s very sugary and worse, I found very milky chocolates in them. I am seriously wondering if this Vile Parle franchisee is peddling inferior home made chocolates as Almond Rocks. The price of course remains over Rs 500 for 250 gms

Also their Chocolate Muffin is filled with lots of chocolate chips and is a value for money.<br/>Their veg as well as non veg croissants are worth trying. My favourite is the Spicy Chicken and Chicken Seekh Kebab. <br/><br/>One noteable feature of this outlet is that all their cakes are vegeterian and so best place for vegeterians to buy some really tasty cakes.

I am very true to this place.. this place has the most awesome yummy gooey fluffy cakes and paseteries one could ever get. Their rolls and croissants are also worth eating. The dark truffle and chocolate eclair are my favourites. They take orders for birthdays and give you personalized cakes too.

This little eatery has been here for longer than I can remember. The cakes here are delicious, the staff is friendly and everything is reasonably priced. The only thing it probably lacks is seating. It is more of a bakery and you will find more people taking their products home rather than having them there.<br/>My Recommendations would be:<br/>Paneer Schezwan Croissant, Dutch Truffle (if you are a fan of dark chocolate), Chocolate Mousse (not always available).

We end up ordering from here pretty often due to it’s proximity to our office. The chocolate cakes are decent, one doesn’t realise to much of difference among the variants but no complaints! The red velvet seems to be tad more popular among our guys.

Very impressed by the level of effort they took to resolve an issue. A lot of other brands, including big/renowned ones really could learn from them.<br/><br/>I ordered a photocake which didn't come out the way it should have. They replied promptly to my messages on their Facebook page. Their operations manager, Joe, called me at 9 am in the morning and came personally with the delivery chap to hand over the cake. The properly done cake was delivered to me within 2 hours.They made the cake again, two times, till they got it right. Not only did they get the cake, they also brought other goodies as an apology which was very nice of them.<br/><br/>Thank you very much Birdy's. Really appreciate it

Not worth it at all. We vouched for the birdy's brand till a few years ago. It's certainly blacklisted now. The pineapple cake we called for only had its essence. The pieces were only there on the icing. Not a single piece of pineapple in the cake.

Here the chocolate cakes still taste like they used to when i was a child..thats about fifteen years back..so ya they have maintained quality really well..the alpine, cuban, ney york, truffle all the chocolate pastries are yummy albeit similar tasting..the croissants are fresh and soft and the bread itself is very yummy..the cookies aren't much to say for..their eclair is a riot of whipped cream oozing out of choux pastry..all time classic!! Their regular bread is also quite nice..

I visited this place today after a long time to buy a cake for my friend. But what I see there's only chocolate cake and strawberry cake to choose from. I didn't expect this from Birdy's as it's a very famous chain. If they're short of cakes they should make arrangements for so that customers have variety to choose from. This place has a good collection of chocolate based desserts but the fruit based dessert lovers will be left with only 2 options- pineapple pastry, fruit pastry or whichever flavor of the day which can be a minus. Also, the place is really tiny with no space to sit and enjoy the food unlike their other outlets. The AC too is at the wrong end of the room which doesnt leave you with a pleasant feeling as you browse the pastrys. Tried their chocolate eclair which wasnt worth talking about.It did not do justice to the traditional chocolate eclair. We also tried their blackforest cake which was nothing exciting. What we loved is their dutch truffle cake which was gooey with chocolate and the cake felt food too when it was served heated. Also the service doesnt heat your pastry and serve, so if you prefer your chocolate pastrys warm, you need to mention it.Also a little high priced according to mumbai standards and also when they are not really specializing on the texture and flavor of their pastrys. Something they need to work on.Another surprise is, they do not have a cheesecake on the menu.Again something they should consider.
