I've Recently visited this place with my friend tushar and we spent a good time here. Ambience of this place is simple yet so attractive. Seating arrangement of this restaurant is very well organised and managed in respect of couples , friends and families. Having attractive combination of wooden table , chair and sofas which gives great look to this place.
Best place to go for dinning with your friends and family and Pocket friendly restaurant.

Sagar's staff is very polite and Service given by them were so fast. Staff having very good knowledge about the food and available stock. They helped us to choose delicious dish during the visit and thanks to Sagar management to taking care us during the visit.

You gonna definitely liked this dessert. Gadbad is actually combination of serval other dessert which contain scotch, chocolate and vanilla ice cream loaded with jelly, Fruit salad and topped with dry fruits and syrup. Highly Recommended 😋👍👍

This place has very warm and welcoming ambience which is highly recommended even if you are accompanied with your family.
Very humble staff and food served here is purely vegetarian. So you are a vegetarian then you should visit this place atleast once.

Though we wanted to try the thali but we were in the mood to try their famous coriander paneer starter, which was delicious.
Do not miss the pav bhaji it’s too good.
Mushroom Rangeela was amazing with two variations of mushroom served with mint coriander chutney and salad on the side.
Loved the burnt garlic fried rice which was topped with tons of golden fried garlic along with some exotic veggies in green sauce.
For desserts we ordered there special falooda which was perfectly chilled and not too sweet and finally it was time for some sizzling brownie with ice cream and hot chocolate!!
No wonder the brownie was delicious inspite of being eggless it was fudgy and gooey😍😍

To start we ordered the manchow soup and it was amazing.Then we went for some starters and ordered veg crispy ,manchurian dry and a veg platter. Though all the items were good but i liked Manchurian the most.
Then chocolate,mango and mixed fruit shakes were ordered and as a chocolate lover i'd keep chocolate shake on top among all the ordered .
Main course: naan(most preferred) and veg toofani(a little spicy).
And after getting finished with the main course we had a badam pista shake.

From this outlet I ordered a breakfast meal. In that meal they provided pohe, misal pav, fruits, chutney.<br/>I was totally disappointed with the quality of entire meal.<br/>Pohe were so dry and onion was not properly cooked seems like it wasn't fresh. It was too oily and smelling different.<br/>Talking about misal it was okay in taste but not properly cooked. And giving different taste.<br/>Fruits were horrible. All the pieces were smelling weird and wasn't fresh at all. I didn't even tasted a single piece due to their smell.<br/>Chutney was good but still not sure about freshness.<br/>As I started having it due to weird aroma I literally felt disappointed.<br/>Later on after having it I got stomachache.<br/>Please improve your quality of food.

Sagar restaurant is closed to the Andheri East station, opposite to Bhahar Cinema.Food here in Sagar restaurant is super delicious. We had tried pav bhaji and it was super buttery and mouth watering. Other dishes that we tried here were fried rice, palak paneer and naan. For desert we had gulab jambun. An amazing experience. Place is also worth the price.

Tbh, Sagar Restaurant used to be the Sunday dinner spot but then after their management changed, things around changed drastically. However, the south Indian food hasn't been affected much, so if you want to have only south Indian then maybe, you really could try it out there but you could explore your options as well! Next comes to North Indian and continental, I don't really recommend them because they'll not be as per your expectations.

Like a big Plate comprising of all of it. The Papad Roll with veggies inside it tasted soo good sucha good idea, Veg Tikka with a Cashew on top, Big paneer pieces which were tandoor made and corn and salad along with chutneys. Must try. And yeah the lotus lamp decoration made of Tomato was very PHOTOGENIC.<br/><br/>3) Tawa Pulao- Tawa pulao was good. Yesterday I visited Sagar restaurant for lunch with my friend, it is quite near to Andheri station and chakala metro station. The ambiance of the restaurant was calm and nice. It is a family restaurant.<br/>We ordered 2 appetizers<br/>Paneer crispy - 5/5<br/>The best paneer crispy I have ever had in my life. I am a chicken lover but this crispy didn't make me miss the chicken because it was so tasty. Highly recommended.<br/>Paneer Lahori - 4/5<br/>Lahori kebab was fresh with spicy and tangy yellow sauce. There were six pieces served, the garnishing was up to point with done salad.<br/>Pav bhaji -2/5<br/>The main reason for giving 4 ratings for this restaurant us their pav bhaji, highly disappointed with the flavors and taste. This restaurant is very popular among nearby visitors who love to indulge in their thali and other delicacies which is wholesome and reasonably priced.<br/>This restaurant has its own charm combined with pleasant decor and very humble staff.<br/>Nice and clean restaurant which serves tasty and delicious food and ambience is also very warm and welcoming. <br/>We tried Coriander paneer for starters which was Chinese version of stir fried Palak paneer and was absolutely delicious, highly recommended.<br/>We also tried Mushroom Rangeela as the name was very fascinating but needless to say even the taste was equally yummy it consisted of 2 versions of mushrooms ,stuffed with paneer and cheese marinated in red and green paste respectively served with mint coriander chutney and salad which was too good.<br/>Pav bhaji served here is delicious and a must try.<br/>Do not forget to order sagar special falooda which is perfectly chilled and not over the top sweet.<br/>For main course we ordered burnt garlic fried rice which was amazingly flavoured and topped with golden crisp fried chopped garlic and was very tasty along with some exotic diced vegetable in green sauce which combined very well with the burnt garlic fried rice.<br/>For desserts we ordered sizzling brownie with ice cream, in spite of being eggless the brownie was nice, fudge and gooey loved it!!<br/>Overall I had an amazing experience visiting this place.

I went here today for lunch with family. It is a nice place which has lot of crowd in the afternoon.<br/><br/>We tried Masala Dosa, mixed chaat and veg platter . I have passed this restaurant an umpteen number of times and today we decided to have lunch here. It's a big restaurant with decent , clutter free interiors, no frills attached. It was bustling with people at lunch time. And we were lucky to get a seat without waiting.<br/><br/>The menu is extreme pocket friendly and good for office goers and families alike. Service is quick and cuisines offered were North Indian, South indian and Indo Chinese.<br/><br/>We started our meal with<br/><br/>Masala dosa which was quite big in size and crisp and delicious. The sambhar, chutney and masala tasted fresh and delicious.<br/><br/>Then we tried the Mix special chaat: We asked for no pineapple which was promptly followed. The chaat had sev, papdi, kurmure and other condiments. Tasted good could be a bit more chatpata.<br/><br/>Masala Papad: Nice , fresh and yummy. The spices are spot on .<br/><br/>Fruit Punch: It was a nice melange of different fresh fruits and quite a breather in this gross summer heat. I relished it till the last sip.<br/><br/>Veg Tandoori Platter: You can't believe the quantity it has for the price value. It's good for 3-4 people. It has 5 types of starters namely Paneer Tikka, tandoori mushroom ( great flavour of mustard), tandoori babycorn , spring rolls and hara bhara kebab. A complete massive meal in it self . All the charities were delicious with the mushrooms being my favourite.<br/><br/>Mains:<br/>Masala Aloo Kulcha : A beautifully baked bread with a wholesome stuffing of potato and onion with lots of coriander.<br/><br/>Freshly made crisp Tandoori Rotis were made as per requirement.<br/><br/>Veg Peshawari : Highly recommended. It has a mix of normal and exotic veggies in delicious yellow gravy which was quite smooth on the palate and low on spiciness.<br/><br/>Paneer Kadai : A red Gravy paneer with some shredded veggies like onion and capsicum. It is having 2 sabji(paneer kadai, moong ki sabji), chapati, creamy tomato soup, kolhapuri daal, hara bara kabab, pickle, rice, butter milk, gulab jamun.<br/>As you are in mumbai the most delicious dish served here is "Pav bhaji". Easy to loacte, situated at the turning point of Chakala signal.<br/>Trying out veg food always seems to be exciting due to the variations it provides and its taste.<br/>The restaurant has an extensive menu serving appetizers to south indian dishes to indian sabzis and gravies to desserts.<br/>One should try on their pav bhaji as its simply good with perfect blend of spices.<br/>Also their paneer crispy was fab.<br/>Had their mysore masala dosa and spring roll which were just like the normal ones but the taste was amazing.<br/>In desserts do try their GADBAD. As the name suggests it was actually gadbad with a combination of several other desserts. Fruit salad with chocolate, scotch and vanilla ice cream loaded with jelly and topped with dryfruits and syrups. It wass blissful and yummmmm!!<br/>The most imp there is their quanity. Each dish is apt to fulfill 4 people at a time which is worth the money.<br/>Added to my list of favourite veg restaurant.

Located in a corner at Western Express highway in Andheri, this is a pure veg restaurant. It is ideal for dining out with family and friends. When we reached there it was way past the lunch hour, but the staff ensured we get the food we wanted to order.<br/><br/>We started with Fruit Punch, which was superb! The Fruit Punch contained orange juice, mango juice, apple juice and was topped with vanilla ice cream and apple pieces. This is a must try. (recommended)<br/><br/>For starters we had Veg crispy and Paneer chilly. The paneer was soft and cooked perfectly. We also had Masala pav which was also good. The Paneer kolhapuri was spicy and tasty.<br/><br/>Finally we rounded it off with the Gadbad ice cream. Must say it was awesome! The Gadbad had 3 ice cream scoops of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate and topped with dry fruits, jelly pieces and cut fruits. It simply melts in your mouth. Again, a must try dessert at this place.<br/><br/>The staff was courteous and the service was good. Would give it 4.5 stars out of 5.

On my official tour to mumbai, visited the place on local friend's recommendation. Ambiance was quite simple and old fashioned. We had mysore sada dosa for starter and veg seek kebab masala and roti for main course. Dosa was good but slightly on sweeter side. Veg seek kebab masala was very well prepared. Food was quite good and reasonable priced. I found the cleanliness was not up to the mark, seen many flies on the serving table, they need to improve in this area.

One of the best outlet for the veg food . It's a great place situated in chakala . Just 10 mins walk from Andheri station it has variety and serves quality of food makes you mind delicious too. All the food mains, starters , mocktail , shakes all are up to mark getting it a perfect place. Things to try here are :- chocolate shake , water melon juice , paneer chilly , pav bhaji , and in mains it's veg paneer Tikka and veg kolhapuri . So over all a perfect outlet something is missing right ? Yes dessert as we were already full with it. We just had ice cream and made a blissful noon.

One of the best food is to try with Sagar serves you the best food . It's a Punjabi and an Indian pure veg cuisine . As we enter it's a good ambiance. We started with it and the menu looked quiet interesting and showed like it would be a proper place. So it began with manchau soup it was too amazing the aroma said it all and so was the taste. The rest role was played by starters and it was proper and it includes many variety of food and was at it's best. So beginning with mains it was proper thing as we were already up with food. The main course includes variety of dishes. It were big basket and it consists of variety of roti's . The presentation says it all , sabzi was also too awesome so it was a proper end . As we are full we just had ice cream and made our lunch a best experience.

Today had the pleasure of reviewing Sagar pure veg restaurant and I must say if you want to try some quality vegetarian food in a reasonable price, this place is a must visit. Now talking about the food, from soup till desert everything was perfect. In soups, manchow soup was the one which stood out for me. There were plethora of starters and the best one was veg crispy, wonderful taste and perfect blend of spices and a tinge of sweetness at the same time even the mix platter was also an honourable mention. Milkshakes and juices were outstanding especially chocolate milkshake. For main course, roti ki tokri and veg toofani were really tasty and finally talking about the ambience, although renovation was going on, environment was pretty good and service was also fantastic. Would really love to visit this place again

Today Morning I Visited this place for having amazing South Indian Breakfast with my brother. <br/><br/>Hotel Sagar is Easily Accessable from Main Road, Situated Just Opposite To Bahar Cinema. It's Basically AC Restuarant with Few Non-Ac Outdoor Seatings<br/><br/>For Our Breakfast, We Ordered Neer Dosa, Idli Sambhar and Pineapple & White Sheera with Coffee & Bread Butter Toast.<br/><br/>Neer Dosa was Served With Sambhar & 2 Types of Chutney i.e Coconut & Tomato. Idli was Served with Sambhar & White Coconut Chutney. <br/><br/>Both the Seera's were amazing. Especially Pineapple was more good. Coffee and Toast was Ultimate Which Helped us to end our Breakfast on Happy Note

I just love everything about this place.<br/>Starting with Palak Dosa: perfectly crispy outside, love the spinach blend with Mumbai bhaji. A unique well balanced combination.<br/><br/>Sambhar & chutney.. yummulicious.<br/><br/>Paneer Shahi korma, rich gravy with soft paneer.. recommended to have for sure.<br/><br/>Veg Makhanwala: basic tomato cream with mix veggies. This place at andheri is the best place to visit with family as well as friends.<br/>Ambience is just perfect with lightings and also the seats are comfortable.<br/>The staff is really nice and helpful. Hotel Sagar is awesome when it comes to breakfast, lunch & dinner and especially if you are veg person.<br/><br/>We had Idli with sambhar and chutney & Neer Dosa with sambhar, coconut chutney and red tomato chutney.<br/><br/>Breakfast quality was excellent. sambhar was good. And I had Coffee with butter toast.<br/><br/>The hotel has nice sitting ac section and many sitting area for dinning. The hotel has got few Non-Ac sittings.
