Review Wilson Spices & Flavours - Mumbai

Asmant Nimbalkar
I have been here many times, and it has never disappointed with its taste and quality. This place serves scrumptious Chinese food. Do try their Crispy Vegetables, Apple Chicken, Panner Chilly and Peking Rice. Do not give a miss to their delicious dessert. Quantity is good. Rates are fare. Service is good and quick.

Tried their burnt chilly noodles. Awesome taste ! It's spicy .. exactly the way I like it. Other options are great too. You can ask the staff for good options according to your palette. Their suggestions really work. We finished it with their famous "Death by Chocolate". This dessert really gives justice to its name. Loved it !
Varun Nigam
really awesome food!! and the quantity is also so much! melt-in-the-mouth chicken, perfectly cooked prawns.

This restaurant is especially famous for Chinese cuisine.. We visited for lunch. We tried Paneer Chilli & Paneer Pot Rice... Both were non spicy items... The food was authentic... The quantity was very good & sufficient for 2-3 people... Service was good... Enjoy 🥗🍜☕

Good quality of food. This place cannot be recognised from outside easily, we have to observe the name to confirm. About this place. Food quality: Really good and tasty. Quantity: Much more one can expect. Ambience: Not so good, average. Staff behaviour: Good. If u are going for the first time you much try mission impossible, it's a desert which tastes really really good, served with ice cream.

This was my second visit for 5 spice. Would say, main course portion size is good for 4 people. Started was nicely made and portion size was good for 2 people. Was here early so got the place without waiting. Post 8 pm you can find this place crowded and there may be a long wait time so plan your visit accordingly.

Worth the price, maybe even more. Don't go here alone. Or you might have to stuff whatever you ordered and still have to take parcel home. Don't say i didn't warn you. I ordered this and had to Uber home with the parcel and had it breakfast for the next day

5 spice is one of the best places to have Chinese food. We ordered Thai pot rice and we were very satisfied with the food. The quantity and quality is very good as per the cost of the dish. Just loved it. Nice place to visit with friends and family.

Food was delicious, perfect quantity... nice staff

This place is a vintage outlet to me now. Been going here for almost 6 years. The taste hasn't changed neither has the generous size of portion. Complimentary salad is so good and the Schezwan chutney has been my favourite for long.
Sanket Sakhalkar
This place deserves 5 stars for its taste and value for money. For its Starters, they were really good as always including main course. Their quantity is big which is sufficient for two easily. The only problem with this particular outlet was the service which was very slow and that too on a weekday. Valet parking is available but do try to reach early as there can be long wait. Would recommend 5spice to everyone for its delicious chinese and sumptuous desserts👍

I had been to this restaurant in december last year. The ambience and the staff service is very good out here. The food is of top quality and tastes superb. I had cigar rolls, jalapeno cheese nuggets, chilly chese toast and zafrani tikka and all were mouth watering. The prices are on the higher side but the food taste and quality is worth it
Viral Ganger
Restaurant is superb for food....

Only one issue we faced was restaurant says cover charges for visiting there open area as they had some Xmas party.

1000 rs cover charge which is waste.

Also same thing they reduce price later as they were not able to sell at 1000

Well after a sunny day at fort we travelled to this place as one of my friend suggested that it is worth giving a shot. Week long was on non-veg food so wanted to gulp in some veggies.

This place has beautiful ambience, spacious seating, clean and well lit. The staff was very generous and and kind, it's been quite long that I've asked for their speciality and the ans dint came out to be "sab special hai sir" to our surprise he ran us through the menu and let us decide according to our mood what we'll like to have we tried few options and we were totally taken by surprise.

Peek on our table

Mocktails :-

1)Passionate basil :-
recomended

2) Mango mint :-
You'll love this as well.

Cocktail:

1) Smoked berry :-
tried this 2nd time and best as always highly recomended.

Starters :
1) Sizzling paneer in black pepper sauce : Beautifully presented and tastes good.

2) Crispy corn chilli pepper
Yet another beautiful presentation and tasted well.

Mains :-

Shashlik sizzler:-
will recommend

Dessert :-

Motichur gol gappa with basundi shots : Well this was something new but do try it. You'll simply love the presentation and the taste.

Till then..
Khate raho Peete raho.. jeete raho :P

We tried the open cheese rumali khakra and the schezwan sizzler & gulab jamun lasagna
Prices: ₹285 & ₹565 & ₹265

Ps: This place serves open cheese rumali which is like a khakra and tastes delicious. The schezwan sizzler was a little spicy but well toasted with many veggies. Lastly, Gulab jamun lasagna is basically a layered desert which consists of rabdi, bundi and hot sizzling gulab jamun slices. It was pleasant and satisfying

Follow Appetite Calls

Follow us on Instagram and facebook: appetite_calls

Went for a Sunday lunch. Otherwise a busy area and you might struggle to walk in the crowded Dalal Street.
Reached earlier than planned and had comfortable sitting. Service here is nice. Recommend you to book the table in advance.
Ordered the following
- Karari Roomali Roti - My favorite from this place
- Guava Mocktail - Asked for a picture and was sufficient for 6 people. Tasted really nice
- Kofta Vegietable - Was good but the gravy was spicy
- Olive and Jalepeno Naan - a variant that i haven't seen at many places, try it
- Burnt Garlic Naan - good variant of regular garlic naan, tasted good.
- Roti and Phudina Roti - Phudina roti is something you can skip. Roti were good and soft
- Gulabjamun Lasagna - Recommended by the staff, delicious combination of Rabdi, Gulabjamun and Motichoor.

Service is descent and fairly fast.

I visited here along with my friends for one of our friend's birthday celebration. It's open cheese rumali papad is just delicious. We liked paneer tikka pizza, open cheese rumali papad, nachos, paneer chilly dry. We also tried veg schezwan noodles and cigar rolls which were average in taste. Over all really awesome experience, friendly staff and great hospitality. A really good option for vegetarians.
Foram
Their sizzlers are hands down the best, the taste the quantity and the mix of all the vegetables and everything is just perfect

Located at a prime location near Bombay stock exchange, this place is full of positive vibes and most importantly stays true it's name ' spices and flavours'.
On the basis of my experience at Spices and Flavours,
Ambience:- 3/5
Food and drinks:- 3.5/5
Service:-4.5/5
The place is fully equipped with comfortable sofas and well cushioned chairs. The place has been meticulously designed to accommodate people in groups as well as couples.
The warm , courteous and welcoming attitude of the waiters adds charm to this place.
I tried out the following dishes from the menu:-
• Funghi Trifolati
• Spicy Cajun
• Guava goodness
Funghi Trifolati is a dish prepared with stuffed mushrooms and mayo sauce, served with green chutney. Though the dish is appealing by it's look and layout but fails to strike the cord with flavours. The dish has mushrooms that are bigger than the normal size , thus killing the soft texture of the mushrooms.
Spicy Cajun is white sauce penne pasta served with Italian bread. It is completely worth the price . The dish has wonderful texture and has the right amount of flavours- not too much not too less.
Guava goodness is a simple mocktail without any innovative ideas put into it's making.
Best restaurant in Fort Mumbai. It was awesome experience. Perfect place for family gathering. Fabulous ambience. Service was very quick, they will help you to choose the best food combination. Food was really mouthwatering. Staff was great.
Kurkure paneer 5/5
Cheese corn balls 4.5/5
Paneer Lababdar 4/5
Should must try Kurkure Panner.

That's what dessert means to me - a dollop of sweet love in the otherwise cold World!!

The Gulab Jamun lasagne from Spices and Flavours, Fort, Mumbai , India!! Sooo tempting this looks!! This Lasagne consisted of 3 layers!! Dryfruit Rabdi on the top, Motichoor in the Middle and sizzling hot Gulab Jamun at the bottom 😍😍!! This dessert is the fusion of the three most celebrated sweets of India!! The taste of this dessert was as unique as its name!! Soo sooo soo loved it!!

In the vicinity of Bombay Stock exchange, this place surely stands upto the expectations.
Ambience - 4/5
Food - 5/5
Service - 4/5
We had ordered the following :
Papad ki churi
Sizzling brownie with vanilla ice cream. We had a lovely time here. I would totally recommend to visit here
Kinjal Kadakia
It is an all time favourite and can go there at any time. The food here never disappoints you be it the pizza, open rumali, hara bhara kabab or any other item you pick up from the menu.

I would rate this as a best restaurant around fort area. Had ordered rumali papad, paneer biryani and Peking fried rice. All the dishes were unique and yummy. Would surely recommend.

This place is really really recommended when it comes to flavorful food! We had North Indian here, with some appetisers which were equally good. Nachos were the best, cheesy sauce was up to the mark. Loved the experience here.
Zeel Shah
The perfect fast food joint for when you are craving a Indian dining experience: appetizers especially the giant papad were really tasty. Main course too was made well.

The Decor and Indian Food is Amazing !!! I tried Mexican Sizzler but that tasted okkayish. It's a good place to go out with family for perfect Indian Cusine Dinner !!! I'll Suggest Punjabi food over snacks here... Soothing Decor but the Servicing can be improved. Spices And Flavours
FoodiesAroundTheCorner
Spices and Flavours located in the lane next to the Bombay Stock Exchange, is a multi cuisine restaurant.
Mostly frequented by office goers.

We ordered:
Paneer Kathi Roll - Paneer Tikka wrapped in roomali roti which was very nice.
Paneer Tikka Masala - Paneer masala in thick onion and tomato gravy
Kofta Punjabi Tadka - Cheese kofta in onion and tomato gravy
Dal Tadka - The classic yellow dal which was perfect
Veg Biryani: The portion size was massive and the biryani was replete will flavour.

The service was decent overall and so was the food, one can try this restaurant if in fort.

This is a pure veg place with abundant options for Jain food. Went for lunch by 1pm with a group of 10. Very well received. Sat us down very conveniently. Ambience is good. Service is very good, no much delay and very attentive to customers. They even give suggestions when prompted. Food here is good with quite a variety to choose from. The Veg crispy starter was perfect. The green chutney on the table is surely not to be missed. Schezwan sizzler was also served without delay. The rice and the noodles we're perfectly done. The soup quantity is a bit less as compared to other places. The Manchow soup was just ok. Sweet corn soup is very very bland. But asparagus-cheese-cream soup was quite yumm though there's no bite in it...just plain. Desserts ..sizzling brownie wd ice cream was as perfect as can be.

Location : It is located at 10 minutes walking distance from CST. There could be a small problem if you coming by cab because the area around has many one ways and that's a but troublesome to navigate and reach the place!

Ambiance : 4/5.
Refreshing is the apt word. Nicely lit and eye soothing interiors. A feeling oneness keeps coming every minute when we sit here!!

Staff & Service : 5/5.
The manager was extremely gentle and attentive. We had made a reservation and he welcomed us with a very pleasing manner. The service isvreal quick and all attendants are very well attentive and constantly trying to engage in a conversation with us on food and quality.

What we had :

1. Minestrone Soup - 4.5/5.
Too much of deliciousness in a single bowl of soup. It comes with spaghetti and is really yummy and a must have!!

2. Rumali Papd - 4.5/5
Very well prepared with ample quantity of chopped tomatoes sprinkled on it!! Very tasty and the best rumali papad we had in long time.

3. Paneer Patty Sizzler - 4/5.
A great combination of sizzler with 2 paneer patty and cheese n schezwan sauce. Absolutely delicious in its noodles and rice sauted vegetables!! 😋😘

4. Bartender Special - 4.5/5.
This happens to be a shake. Oreo+Kitkat=Bartender Spl!! Very well prepared with a great taste and a real treat to our tastebuds!

Value For Money : 4/5.
Having all this for 1350 INR is really worth every penny for the quality and quantity if foid they serve.

Verdict : A must visit for really good food and this is a pure veg resto with jain options available in maximum of their dishes!!

A nice place located in Fort for having a dinner with friends, colleagues and family. The staff is well trained and friendly. The ambience is inviting and the best part is the food.

We had ordered Zucchini Walnut Broccoli Lasagna and Risotto Sicilia. The lagasna was the better of the two dishes. Even the cost isn't very high and clubbing it with Zomato Gold is the best.
Rumana Merchant
Very good vegetarian food. We went for a family dinner. The servers are prompt and recommended some nice dishes such as Paneer Lababdar and another dish. Service was prompt and good
Ambience is also good.

Most pathetic experience at the restaurant today.. we ordered 3 power lunch thalis having a cost of rs 200 approx for each thali.. for three persons.. one of our friends joined us just to sit with who had already had his lunch and was not interested in taking lunch.. however during the course of our lunch restaurant manager Mr Paras came and very rudely mentioned that thalis cannot be shared which was not the case at all..his behaviour was really unwarranted.. he did not have the basic etiquette to even talk.. being a service sector employee i really understand the importance of good service for customers however looking at the service of this restaurant i do not recommend any one to visit this place..very pathetic and awful experience.. will never ever visit this place..
Vibhor
Pathetic rules for Thali.. Though it's not a unlimited Thali or a buffet still u can't share the food.. One can understand the rule if it's unlimited or a buffet.. Lastly even if it's not allowed the same could have been conveyed in a decent way instead Mr. Paras (Manager) just showed his arrogance in conveying the msg.. Regret to see such behavior..definately not a place for good appetite..
Anuj Pradeep Khandelwal
Good food and an impressing & non-traditional menu.

The staff is a little ignorant of the customers who are seated on the corners so be sure to take a table somewhere in the center.

Ask your server for suggestions because since it was our first time we had no clue what to order and the suggestion given to us by the server was actually nice and very tasty.

The menu has a lot of variety for you to choose from so make sure you have a bigger crowd with you so that you'll can order something from each section of the menu.

For all those people who like fancy plating of food and want to click more pictures, this seems to be a good place.

The turn around time from ordering the food to getting the food on the table is not much.
Alok Shah
Amazing food .. And very helpful staff .. Things we had
Nachos grand - 4.5/5 full of cheese and exotic veggies .. A complete delight
Verture pizza - 5/5 again ive never seen any restaurant put so many veggies whole heartedly in a pizza
Kurkure paneer - 5/5 this was their signature dish and its definately worth a try ... Paneer fried with papad churra .. Amazing ...
Tripple schezwan fried rice - 5/5 Just amazing !!!
I really wonder why such good restaurants with such amazing food need to rely on zomato gold for footfall ... They deserve every penny of what they charge ...
It was my parents anniversary and usually they dont like all these kind of food .. But to my surprise they loved the food too ... Good work guys !! Cheers ...

THEY AR JUST CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR AMOUNT OF BILL & NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION FORCING THE CUSTOMER TO ORDER A SECOND DISH SAYING IT WOULD NOT BE ENOUGH AND THEN IT ENDS UP WASTING. VERY POOR HOSPITALITY. WILL NOT SUGGEST AT ALL

Horrible service.
They did not remember to write half the orders and hence did not get them.
Food was at best average. Staff was not even courteous or apologetic about forgetting orders.

What an amazing evening I had here. It was my parents 27th anniversary, we head here for celebration. This place is right below TBT and opposite to Bombay Stock Exchange.

Warm welcome by the staff as we entered the restaurant. Lovely decor and cozy interiors, low-seated tables and funky lamps. It's brightly lit up and vibrant with all the colour combination they have.

We ordered Mushroom Afghani, Chatpatta Aloo, Corn Cheese Nuggets, Moroccan Paneer, Italian Sizzler and Rabdi Gulab Jamun.

Mushroom Afghani 10/10
Chatpatta Aloo 9/10
Corn Cheese nuggets 7/10
Moroccan Paneer 7/10
Italian Sizzler too cheesy 7/10
Gulab Jamun Rabdi 8.5/10

All the dishes were amazing and unique!
Great place to have vegan food, food served here is a fusion food (intercontinental-indian) There is lot more on the menu to try! Visiting this place soon again.

Also the staff is polite and kind assuring customer Comfort with care.

This name gives an insight that this restraunt must be having great Indian recipes but they have Italian and Chinese menu too. So, you can explore a lot in here.
So, as I suggested here that, we had go ahead with Indian flavours.
Starters like Paneer pukhraj kebab having ordinary preparation of paneer tikka, just didn't click us much.
Fiery tomato soup is simple tomato soup added with bread crums just gave it the classic taste.
Then we have these vegetable rolls stuffed with corn and other vegetable and cheese , this one was nice and delicious.
In mains my friends has ordered one kebab gravy thing and paneer masala with gravy , only better part is that it was not sweet or very spicy but looks very ordinary with the kind of standard this place is maintaing along with prices.
I heard about the desserts are great especially lasagne gulab jamun, but that was too sweet, it definitely did well with Rabdi but I think, they don't need to add that moti chur in this recipe.
Another one is Moti chur Gol gappa, served in unique way, Rabdi given in tequila shots and gol pooris were kept with stuffing of moti chur , that will be winner it seems for the day.
Overall an average rating atleast for Indian flavours.....

We had visited this place 2-3 times earlier , everytime I had great experience at this place.

But this time it is deviated by heavy margin in terms of food I should say.

We were a group of 10, went for lunch in this cosy place with little dark ambiance, servers are equally helpful to provide us the sitting arrangement.

We ordered with majority favouring Indian recipe.

Started with cheese open Rumali papad, a bigger size of papad topping of chopped veggies and cheese is upto our satisfaction.

Fiery tomato soup , it was also great with balance of sweet and sour taste and little spiced up, topped with bread crumbs is great.

In starter we had Summer veggie roll, Veggies stuffed along with cheese and corn was again a blast, would recommend it.

And Pukhraj kebab serving of cottage cheese marinated and corn on seekh was ok, it was similar to paneer tikka. It was good but not that delicious.

We then have ordered mains 2 dishes, which did disappoint me the most.

One is Shyam savera having veggie rolls in traditional gravy with blend taste almost. Either we have ordered the wrong dish as per our taste or something not good with this 1 and another one is paneer kasaundi - cottage cheese again in Indian style gravy.

Breads are also not soft or as per my expectations.

In desserts we had Gulab Jamun Lasagne , Gulab jamuns topped with rabadi and moti chur boondi should taste out of the world but somehow I was not getting it right.

Another one was moti chur gol gappa with Paani poori stuffing of moti chur served on top of tequila glass having rabdi, there are 5 such shots in one. I think again the sugar is little higher and moti chur was not properly cooked compare to earlier instances.

I may not recommend its Indian portion, may be next time will check on the Italian or Chinese menu.

Foodie Monster
Located in the heart of Fort, this place was a divine experience both in terms of food as well as the service.
We ordered the Grande Nachos, Cheese corn balls, Mumbai chilly sabji and roti
The cheese corn balls were freshly made, the sabji was nice (PS maybe jalapanoes can be omitted)
The grande nachos were our absolute favourite.
Overall it was a pleasant experience.
It's good place to lunch with your gange but strictly vegetarian.
Zomato gold not applicable on platter n sizzlers.
We tried tabdoor platter which was good. Triple schezwan rice was too spicy to eat. We need up dessert called basundi shot with motichur ladoo Puri.

All time favourite place to hog.
Sizzling sizzler...omg can't stop eating,
Entire menu items are delicious.. jelopino nuggets, sizzling panner, pizza, Punjabi food, everything is awesome.
Management is also nice.
Only thing is always a waiting period...but can wait for good food

First and for most, all the three starts I've given are for the food, and the left over 2 which I've kept away are for not so courteous staff. I've visited the place couple of times, I shall continue to visit, just that next time I step out to head here, I'll have only food on my mind and try and interact less to the staff.

Thanks! Cheers!

This place is worth a visit. One should try the Chinese options over here.

The ambiance here is very cozy & the staff is very friendly

You can get variety of rice at this place.
Nandini Basu
The food was good...though nothing to write home about...the ambience...well...to our misfortune, we had picked up a Sunday evening to visit the place...had to wait for a solid 1 hour before we even got a seat...even though we had a prior booking...there was absolute chaos inside...honestly...the taste of the food was absolutely marred by the absolutely disgusting ambience. The gnocchi that we had was really sad...all in all...an experience worth not repeating ever again

If ever you want to lick your fingers at the dining table, come here.
Finger licking good and tasty food available here.
Prompt service and nice decor.

Sofa seats may slightly be uncomfortable, but manageable.

All dishes were worthy, well made and reasonably priced as per fine dine hotel.

Brownie tasted a bit different, probably stale. Requesting the management to look into this aspect.

Will surely visit again.

Best place to visit for a Sunday evening dinner with Family.

It serves amazing food, and the service is too good. Waiters are very polite and well trained.
We really enjoyed the food and mocktails here.

The paneer starters won't disappoint you and are definitely worth a try. The crispy corn chilli pepper was something different and totally another level. I would surely recommend this. Besides, ask the waiter for recommendations. Rumali masala papad is a must.
Also, don't forget to try their super amazing mocktails!
Plenty of options for jain food are available as well.

Table booking is advised if you are visiting this place on weekends.

P.S. Zomato gold is not applicable on sizzlers and platter.

Service : 5/5
Food : 5/5
Ambience : 4/5

Very good food. Service was great but it was also a factor of the place being mostly empty as we reached quite late. The ambience is not jazzy but gives a feel of premium old school restaurant. Tom Yum soup was amazing and so was the paneer starter. All in all it was worth it.

The place is quite famous but I personally find the food to be fairly okay in taste. The service isn’t that great. The place is a bit overrated

Good food and wide variety is available. However one big flaw is the slow service. However slow service would not be the reason for me to not visit this place again. Enjoyed my lunch here.

Very disappointed with the restaurant management. I am a zomato gold user and the place had zomato gold on food but they did not allow me to use it on food which was mentioned in the menu. They were making new rules that it was allowed on this and that. Never experienced such a thing! So we got up and left the place.
Been to this place two three times. Love the food
It’s a perfect place for vegetarians
This time was not too happy with the sizzling brownie. Brownie seemed to be a bit stale and not fresh like before.

The 2 stars are because I don't want to give it 1 star. To explain why such low rating, I will start with reservation. I had done reservation through Zomato app, and post confirmation on Zomato app, I also got call from restaurant confirming my table. But to my shock, when I reached restaurant on time (5 mns early then my reservation time), I was made to wait for 20 mns as all the tables were occupied, and manager blatantly told me that there were walk-ins and thus I could not stop them. Further, restaurant is opposite BSE and thus is no car zone, and so there is no Valet facility and one will have to find parking for themself in narrow lanes and walk 100 metres to restaurant.
Coming to ambience, it's little cramped and thus looks very crowded and also very very noisy. So if one is thinking of fine done experience, then this is not the place.
Coming to food, we ordered open cheese rumali papad, Kurkure paneer, special tacos, paneer tikka and mocktail pitcher. Here also, our first choice was mix aloo tikki, to which we were informed it will take time and thus difficult to serve. While food was good, mocktail pitcher was farce. It was syrup and water in big flask with no presentation.
After we ordered was dessert (gulab jamun lasagnas), till the time it was served almost everyone came and ask if we want to order anything, as they wanted us to getup and leave as there was waiting. I understand that on crowded days, one would want to optimise time, but this behaviour was quite bad. The good part was dessert and it was yum. Had they not pissed me off, definitely we would had ordered one more.
Definitely not recommendable.

Why do ull take online bookings if it is nt fulfilled by the restaurant i was made to wait for more than half an hour before getting the table. Our booking was of 8 00 and restaurant was totally full and they refused to give the table

Fort is a good place to have great Indian food along with some continental options, but spice and flavours is on another level ieth their indian cuisine.
We really enjoyed the service and food at this place earlier this month.
They not only have an exceptional flavour work when it comes to North Indian food, but they have a great hand over making creative cocktails as well.
I rest look forward to visiting this place again.

Detailed review coming up.

Service (5/5) great, quick , friendly and the staff is just wonderful.
Ambience (4/5)

S&F is a cool place to hangout with fly and friends, the interiors are sassy and so the food, service was on time.

We started off with a cream cheese asparagus soup, was super creamy and fresh.

Chatpata aloo and mushroom afghani were also good options to start off and if you love mushrooms don't miss mushroom afghani. The quantity was good enough.

Mexican sizzler was the perfect main course, had salsa, mexican rice, beans, sauces + nacho chips,it was indeed a great one and highly recommended.

Motichur golgappa with basundi shots was an innovative desserr- motichoor infused in a circular poori with shots of basundi, good one.

Gulab jamuns are as usual our fav when it comes to desserts.

Overall we loved the experience and would recommend this place for sobo ppl.

I absolutely love this place. Its a heaven for veg lovers. Have tried various items on their menu, from soups to starters and main course. But the stand out factor is their desserts. Pani puri with basundi and gulab jamun lassane are the must haves.

Spices & Flavours is a multicuisine restaurant, serving the best vegetarian dishes in town with a twist of flavors. It stands true to it's name and it is a delight to taste each and every dish at this place as there is some unique flavours involved.

It is located dead opposite to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The ambience of this place is vibrant and colorful with lovely lighting. The seating is amazing. Mostly you'll spot families and friends gathered at this place. The staff is super friendly.

We visited this place on a Wednesday evening. Mr. Ravindra Singh welcomed us with a smile. The menu is vast with lots to order, but Mr. Singh helped us to order, according to our preferences.

What we ordered:
In Continental Appetizers
💯 Jalapeno Cheese nuggets which is a must try here. These were the best I ever had. Thanks to Mr. Singh. They were cheesy and flavorful which was served with a spicy sauce. Amazing combo.
The Mushroom Labneh Bruschetta, was delicious. The mushroom had a nice smoky flavor and the spread on the bread and toppings on the mushroom made it the best bruschetta.
Then we ordered the Moroccan Paneer which looked delicious, the outer coating was so crisp and there was soft paneer on the inside which was filled with veggies in between. The chilli dip served with it was something I didn't prefer but the starter was great and crisp.
💯 The Mumbai Masala Cheese toasts which was again suggested by Mr. Singh was beyond amazing and is a must try. It is a classic and is delicious and cheesy in taste with loads of veggies and flavorful masala.

Mocktails 🍹
The Raspberry Apple Cruncher
It was a berryful drink with slices of apple on top. It was served in a Mason Jar. For someone like me who likes cranberry, raspberry drinks, this is something to go for.
💯The Bull frog is more like a blue lagoon drink with lemony flavor in it. It is definitely a must try.

Cocktails 🍸
Unicorn
As unique as it's name this cocktail is served in a fancy glass with orange juice and basil with a sour mix of taste and Bailey which is served in a test tube which is to be poured from the top.
💯Smoked Berry
This is something worth trying, the volume of this cocktail is huge. It is served in a big spherical glass. They use kiwi instead of the berries due to some availability issues, but not a problem. They did a good job using kiwi. The cocktails is delicious and will also suffice your smoky vibes.

Oriental starter 🍲
💯The Sizzling Paneer in Black Pepper Sauce
Delicious, soft Paneer coated in pepper sauce served on a sizzling platter. This dish was the best I ever tasted and is beyond words.

Tandoori Starters 🍢
💯Bharwa Paneer
Nicely grilled paneer stuffed with veggies in between. This dish is spicy and creamy at the same time which is served with salad and lime on the side. The Paneer cubes are huge and delicious.
💯Mushroom Afghani
Grilled mushroom stuffed and nicely marinated with creamy herbs and spices. A definitely try for all the mushroom lovers.

Mains 🍛
Kofta Punjabi Tadka with Naan
The Kofta gravy had nice makhani, spicy flavor with a tadka and koftas on the topped. The naans were soft and buttery and went well with the gravy.

Deserts 🍰🥧
💯 Chocolate Mousse
A classic and creamy mousse topped with chocolate sauce and served in a cute little jar, the best, yummy and chocolaty mousse is always a win win.
💯💯 Shahi Tukda Shots
As I tasted the Shahi Tukda with rabbi it made me cry. It is the best best best Shahi Tukda I ever had. The buttery and crunchy tukdas with Malai rabdi will make your day.
Located dead opposite BSE, Spices & Flavours wins your hearts by offering you the best of North Indian and Oriental cuisines, ofcourse with a personal touch of their chef. I expected it to be a bit bigger, but size doesn't matter and SNF proves it with very good service and delicious dishes. The mystic blue, posh white and golden coloured theme gives it a very royal touch. The cushion-y walls is what made me feel so cozy. The interiors radiate perfectness. Just sitting there, taking in the aura makes you feel that you have come to a lovely place, and your tummy is going to be really happy!! ( If you don't mind your wallet being a bit sad!) Also, they are on Zomato gold, so there is some compensation for gold members!

Now, coming to the main event, the deciding factor, the thing that matter the most, FOOD!!

P.S - Some of the dishes have their quantity reduced for the sole purpose that I can try more no. of dishes.

Lets go in the order, I ordered it,

ORANGE FANTASY - (3.5/5)
The menu stated that it was a blend of orange and strawberry crush. I was expecting the colour to be resembling orange, but it was closer to patchy green, thus reducing the appealing factor a bit. The slice of lime attached to the rim shouldered all the presentation weight, which I guess was too much for it. But my standpoint was shattered when I took the first sip, and it tasted so pulpy and fresh. A good drink to sip on guys!

WATERMELON STRAWBERRY COOLER - 4.5/5
It doesn't get any refreshingly better than this! The sweetness of melon, and the tangyness of berries, delightfully fused together with minty soda, now thats what you call blenders's pride. The simplistic approach managed to amaze me even more. Plus the slice of water melon on glass rim, along with the chopped pieces did a great work in making me drool. While its bright red colour added fuel to the fire of thirst which was bubbling in me by looking at it. Highly recommended!!

SAGO POPCORN - (4.7/5)
A newly curated dish, yet to be even introduced in their menu. This dish shows how creative the chef is! Sago means sabudana, and I don't remember having any dish prepared with this ingredient leading the palate, apart for the obvious sabudana kichdi and sabudana wada. These are small, spherical crunchy poppers, filled with sago and mozzarella cheese. The crunch, along with the soft sago and lovingly salted cheese makes it really delicious. But thats not all! The chutney served at the sides takes this bad boy to the next level. The red chutney, is tomato ketchup, with add on of some spices and sugar giving it a lovely sweet and spicy tang. The other chutney, is the regular coconut one which just wins your heart with its chilled attribute. Again, a highly recommended dish!

BHARWA PANEER - (4.2/5)
Another drool-worthy dish. Huge chunks of panner, like really huge are used like breads while a mixture finely chopped veggies, special spicy sauce and cheese is sandwiched between two pieces of mouth watering cottage cheese. Now, I'll be honest here, the masala used in this dish was a bit too spicy for me, but it didn't stop me from appreciating this delicious dish. The panner chunk, isn't very soft so you actually take your time enjoying it, along with the stuffing and letting the masalas seep out of it. The portion size is humongous, cause they know you won't be satisfied with less of it! Try it and ENJOY!!!

ITALIAN CREAM SODA - (4.2/5)
Again, a simple, sweet and refreshing mocktail. The Italian soda, was somewhat like a bubbly mixture of strawberry and raspberry, cause it was really fruity and sweet. Then they used a bit od icecream and infused it with soda, making it into a flully creamy soda face. Mind you its not icecream, its the soda cream and it too tasted yum! I would have loved a bit more in the presentation department, but its taste was something we all will love!

BARTENDER SPECIAL SHAKE - (4.8/5)
The name made me believe that it might be a freak shake, but I was proven wrong, atleast partially. It was not excatly a freakshake, yet it was freakishly tempting! The top was devilishly garnished with kitkat, oreo cookie, choco sticks, cookie crumble, chocolate dust, sugar dust and I guess a couple of more items. I thought okay, this might be it, lot of garnishing and filled with the regular chocolate shake inside, but boy I was mistaken. The whole shake was very thick and luscious, so thick that it got difficult to drink it with a straw. What made it thick you ask? All the items I mentioned above! They were not just used as garnishing, but also as major ingredients in the shake making it super duper chocolaty!!! This drink is not to be under estimated, it can literally fill you up!! If chocolate is your sin, this can take you to seventh hell!

CHEESE MASALA TOASTIES - (4/5)
This dish closely resembles the cheese masala toasts that you get at any sandwich-wala at the street corner. But instead of taking in the dish directly, the chef has added a personal touch to the dish. A personal touch of 'spices and flavours'. Instead of letting cheese be the major component of this toasties, equal importance is given to veggies and the masalas which added the real taste to it. Plus, the breads was so crunchy, it added a different feel to the dish all together. A thumbs up for innovation and taste.

GANGARI ALOO - (3.7/5)
This one is a potato based Bengali starter. Its small pieces of baby potato, sauted with lots of tradational bengali spices, giving it a really lip-smacking spiciness. The blunt tasting potato just serves as base while the real deal of the spices mix takes the lime light. It was a bit too spicy for my pallate as well, but I did not regret getting my mouth burnt due to the spice level.

SHASHLIK SIZZLER - (4/5)
A good friend of my recommended me to try out their sizzlers, and so thats what we did. We went for the shashlik sizzler, which consisted of a portion of rice and noodles on the either side of the bed of veggies. I particularly liked the stir fried onions. Well not to forget 2 really big pieces of panner with really appealing grill marks on them, loaded with the shashlik sauce. The noodles has amongst them purple cabbage which gave it a really attractive attribute and texture. The shashlik sauce is the real deal. It has a very peculiar taste, one which literally takes the taste pallet to the next level!

GULAB JAMUN LASAGNA - (10/5)
No, my math isn't gone poor guys, I literally gave it a 10 on 5 for being soo soo good, and deserving it. This dessert is the boss of every dessert there in town. This legendary fusion of 3 popular Indian sweets can put any international dessert at shame. So by the name, you might have got some idea what it might be. Just like the lasagna, this one too is a layered dish. The bottom most layer comprises of delicious, soft and hot gulab jamuns. Then there is a layer of chilled rabdi on top, while a coating of our favourite 'motichur' laddo crumble seprates the two! Thats not all, its garnished very well with dryfruits making it more tempting. This level of sweetness is actally not easy to comprehend by the human brain, unless you go and try it yourself. The three layers of sweet are supposed to be enjoyed together, and see yourself getting high on it. The best part, its very appropriately priced, unlike a few dishes which I felt to be a bit over priced. The hot gulab jaumun and the chilled rabdi works super well, while the motichoor binds it together! H.I.G.H.L.Y R.E.C.O.M.M.E.N.D.E.D. If you visit this place and don't try it, I swear you'd be the biggest fool ever!

Being someone who loves non-veg, upon realising thay this place does not serve it, at the back of my mind I was a bit disappointed. But trust me, SNF will brutally shatter all your doubts with it delicious and mouth watering vegetarian dishes! I honestly can't wait to tru out their indian and oreintal mains, as well as pizzas and pastas! Also want to stuff myself with GULAB JAMUN LASAGNAA!!!!

Happy Burping!!!

Spices and Flavours - Truly made our dining experience spiced and Flavorful.

A pure veg restaurant located at Fort, next to BSE building, this place is definitely a treat to all vegetarians and majority of the crowd over is Gujju and Marwaris who comes with their big families for small celebrations and get together meal.

Ambiance - This place was super packed with decent people, blue and off white themed seatings looks soothing and great, very pretty and decent decor, Service was on the top notch I am super impressed despite of all tables occupied each and every cuisine that was served to me didn't took more than 4-5mins.

Let's talk about food :-

Hara bhara Kebab in cheese sauce - This is off course an innovative creation of the chef wherein the kebabs were dipped in thick cheese and very beautifully presented. Softest texture balancing the unique flavors of Kebabs. Highly recommended.

Cheese Corn Balls - Round shaped cheese corn balls..quite generous in portion.. Must order if you are cheese lover like me...totally mouth-melting bursting the cheesy flavor. High calories but it's okay to cheat some days.

For Main course our server Govind Pandey - very affable chap suggested us to try Sabzi Mumbai Chilly as I was craving for something authentic north Indian this was perfect dish to satiate my taste bud.. Bit spicy but very well enjoyable red gravy in veggies with butter Kulcha.

In mocktails we had Guava Goodness and Watermelon Strawberry Cooler, both were excellent and refreshing drink.

Overall, a great experience beyond imagination because this place has changed the perception of hardcore non-vegetarians by serving luscious and scrumptious food.
