Review Food By Kilo - Mumbai

I went to Hardeep to specially try out veg options, I had couple of starters and few dishes from main course Mushroom tikka and Nawabi mushroom Tikka both are very tasty!! And main course like sabzis in vegetarian menu are not only really nice but also has a better quantity like Hardeep special sabzi, Paneer mushroom ki sabzi and mushroom tawa. To all vegetarian food Lovers must try out veg options here!

Authentic Punjabi food 👌 Perfect in terms of quality, quantity, hygiene. Service of the staff is amazing. Tasty finger licking food. We had ordered Tiranga chicken tikka, garlic naan, roti, lassi, gulab jamun, rabdi and chicken curry. All these were tooo good!!

Hardeep Punjab offers a delicious range of North Indian food. Chicken chaska maska is a must have starter here - the masala accompanying the starter is amazing. Chicken lalpari and butter chicken were lip-smacking as well. Their Lassi comes in a huge metal glass and is on the sweeter side. If you happen to order lime soda and do not like Jaljeera, be sure to tell them in advance. Service was also amazing with the captain suggesting their best dishes. My only complaint about the restaurant was hygiene (hence the lower score on ambience) - there were a couple flies around at the table and worse, we spotted a cockroach roaming on the table partition. Overall, a good place to savour on North Indian delicacies.

It’s a really good place for aunt Jen tic Indian food We had lalpari chicken It was really good We tried mojito it was decent The Rabdi Gulab jamun was delicious!!!!! Worth the calories !! This place is always full, you need to wait 20-30 mins to get a table specially for weekend dinner

Had a great night dinner over there wid family. Food was very good and delicious 👌🏻💕. Staff and manager behaviour was also pretty good. I will suggest if u want tasty food go over there OR order from here only. One waiter was asking tip for several times thats what I thought one bad point of this restaurant. He was asking 2 times again after giving him tip.

Undoubtedly yummmyyy food but along with that super courteous staff! Chaska Maska Chicken is all Time fav!! Chur chur naan and chicken patiyala was equally tasty.. Chicken matka biryani good but tikka or butter chicken biryani is yummier.. to end with the yummiest of all Rabri Kulfi Falooda.. still can’t get over it 🤭

Nice restaurant. Ambience was good. Clean. Hygiene maintained. No car parking but they arrange somehow. Food quality was good. Taste was delicious. Serves alcohol. Washroom facility available for gents and ladies. Good for group also. Table reservation available. Prices are at par with any other restaurants.

The food in this restaurant is awesome. Great place that offers a delightful choice of authentic Punjabi flavors.Its definitely not fusion or mish mash that is served as Punjabi cuisine. We visit this place very regularly from Goregaon & it is our favourite for Punjabi food in the area. Nice spacious seating in the AC comfort. The chicken tikkas and Prawns Koliwada is amazing. The butter chicken is top class, awesome in taste. The Tandoori items are perfectly done and very juicy to eat. The main course is also good. The menu boasts authentic Punjabi dishes, each bursting with mild yet rich robust gravies & curries. I particularly like the Chicken Chaska Maska which is the signature dish of this restaurant. It is mild yet very flavourful. I have never ever had any after burning or digestion issues after having eaten here. A remarkable experience with the food for all vegetarian dishes as well. The Daal Makhani is too good. We always pack a few portions to take home & eat later. I love their sarson ka saag and makke di roti combo which is served with white butter in the winter season. It is served with pickled onions, Punjabi pickle, Sweet & sour raw mango preserve & the green mint coriander chatni are just too good. Overall always a great dining experience so much so that I have taken a few friends who have come from overseas to eat here & they have enjoyed the food here as well. The portion size is fairly decent for the rates charged. They also sell a variety of Punjabi pickles which are 😋. The staff is fairly focused and knowledgeable about the menu & help in placing the order for the number of people eating so not much food is wasted. Ambience is good. The place is clean & hygiene is maintained. I have never seen the kitchen at all so I am not aware of it.

Me experience here was really very good, i was blown away by the taste of the food, Their presentation is very good, The food somewhat tastes like food from dhaba. Food is Rich in taste and quality. -The plain white rice was of very good quality. -Rotis were well made. -Mutton dhaba gravy was fantastic which came in a cooker. Loved eating here, would love to visit this place again.

This was a small eatery. Best in terms of budget. I have ordered roti, chicken curry and rabdi. Next time I will order some sea food as the owner claims of getting from nearby fishing villages. Yeah as everyone is saying ambience needs to be improved.

Hardeep Punjab by the name you probably thinking it's an Punjabi restaurant and you are right but it's also more than that. It has a two outlets one which we visited is in Sion and the another one newly opened in Kurla. When I was in Sion returning for home I found this restaurant in a busy narrow street its was already the lunch time so decided to visit the outlet. As we entered the restaurant the place is very huge and have a two rooms where around 50+ people can dine in easily at once. The ambience it good but I was hoping some Punjabi style them but it was like a high class restaurant with some Punjabi them songs and TV screening. They served cuisine like North Indian, seafood and Chinese food here since it's an Punjabi restaurant we tried some Punjabi dishes and I must say I really enjoyed the food here I want to try variety of dishes so I told them to serve half of the quality. Staff here is good and polite servicing was a bit slow even there was not much of the customers. Overall I enjoyed the food here though its was bit expensive if you wanna enjoy the food here then at least per person should bring around 500+Rs if you wanna have some good then you shouldn't bother by how expensive it is. Located in the vicinity of gtb nagar , hardeep punjab has few other branches as well. Specialist is north indian, seafood, mughlai and chinese. They also have exhilarating range of mocktails, cocktails and drinks. The ambience feels fetching and indulging giving a sort of comfort. Beverages Fruit Punch Significant quantity with his fruitful presence makes it a commendable drink. Loved the amusing taste though. Cranberry cooler Showcasing two layers of colours and tastes as well. Basically it consists of litchi and cranbeery juices blended consummately. It was sweet and sour. Veg gulauti kebab Made of beetroot, cheese and other veggies stuffings when taken with si chuan, tomato ketchup or green chutney is such a favourable delight guys. Breaking it was soothing. Mushroom nawab tikki Mushroom tikki filled with cheese and served with spiced onions on the side. The cheese was complementing the mushrooms nurtious nature. Paneer chaska matki tikki It didnt cease to amaze me. Loved the exceptional authentic pot presentation enclosed with puffed roti. Tastewise it was cheerful and vibrant with perfectly cooked paneer. Dal Makhani ,garlic naan and butter rotis Whatta blend of makhan and dal. Smooth and full of nutritious dal. I had it with rotis and garlic naan. If you are a fan of dal makhani , do visit hardeep punjab for delicious north indian food. Rabri Garnished with almonds and cashews, rabri is sweet, thick , white coloured in a decent quantity. As soon as you taste , it enrichs your taste buds warmingly. Affable staff members serve you diligently with affectionate smile on their face. The quality of food that you get is absolutely gem. The service is quick even if its crowded.

Longing for lip smacking Punjabi food then hardeep Punjab is perfect place to have delicious authentic Punjabi as well as north Indian Chinese as a well as mughlai food . I was with my Friend . The place is very huge I loved the way they have utilized the space . Seating is so comfortable decor is done well . Staff is courteous they helped us to choose the best . The mocktails and food which we tried were .. Mocktails: Cool blue and virgin pinacolada The mocktails was chilled ad refreshing the taste was very good. I personally recommend cool blue . Appetizer: Chaska maska chicken tikka: It was suggested by there staff and we decided to try it out . Well coming to the presentation it was cooked and severed in clay pot .and it tasted amazingly delicious I never had something like that before . The chicken places were so juicy and tender It just got melted in mouth .this hi highly recommend dish . Tiranga chicken tikka: This dish looks so inviting and it tasted really good. Chicken tikka prepared is three spices one of them is malai tikka ,pudina tikka and regular chicken tikka.each of them were rightly spiced. In main course we ordered : Chicken tikka masala which was served with butter kulcha it was so tasty perfectly cooked the chicken pieces were so juicy . and the gravy was rich and creamy . The butter kulchas was loaded with ample amount of butter on it . It was superb combination . Dessert : Gulab jamun with rabadi this is the best dessert I had till date. The rabdi was so creamy and moderately sweet it just won my heart. Would definitely visit this place in future.

Visited Hardeep Panjab at sion Koliwada to taste some delicious punjabi food and my experience with this restaurant was so amazing. So here is what I have ordered Fruit punch: This was fruity ice cream based drink. Which was equally refreshing, delicious, amazing, and so soothing. Strawberry delight: This drink was same as above drink which was in strawberry flavour and my just loved it. 1. Paneer Chaska Maska: the signature dish of the Hardeep panjab. And It was my favourite dish too. The dish taste like heaven in your mouth and smell so good. Like I will have it all day and I will never get bored of it. This was just perfect and is in my must try list. 2. Non-veg platter: The non-veg platter contained chicken nawabi tikka, chicken chilli milly tikka, fish Koliwada which was prawns and bombil , chicken burnt garlic tikka, everything in this tasted good but I loved chicken nawabi tikka it contained cheese in it and chicken chilli milly tikka more and my loved other 3 dishes. In main course Green salad: As I am on diet diet so I had to order salad it was a big plate of veggies I finished it all Chicken matka Biryani: Though I am on diet, but who can resist a plate full of biryani. So I tasted the biryani and it was just amazing. Perfect and can make droll anyone. In desert I had 1. Malai kulfi falooda: A perfect dessert which not much sweet and was perfect for me. I loved it 2. Gulab Jamun and Rabdi: it contained two big pieces of gulab jamun and Rabdi. I was just so good This restaurant is in my must try list and I this everyone should taste their amazing panjabi food. Their service was very fast and staff was really polite and ambiance was also good with having panjabi songs on background. Every thing was 10/10

So here goes my review of food by kilo!! Had about 15- 20 people over for a Xmas party, n ended up calling for food from food by kilo, as I am a self confessed fan of Hardeep Punjab, which FBK is an extension of.. All I can Say is my friends and I weren't disappointed, as the food was beyond tasty, quantity was absolutely fabulous, quality of each and every item was supreme!! And last but not least, Value for money!! We ordered Schezwan paneer, Bharwaan aalo , Spring rolls , hara Bhara kabab and malai Kulfi. <br/>If you are a vegetarian , just blindly order the above dishes and you will be sorted . The food satisfied very body's Taste bud and the spices were just appropriate .<br/>The green chutney along with the kabab adds to the flavour . The noodles in the spring rolls are to die for .<br/>The tandoori broccoli that we received was burnt was was replaced with another starter when complained. <br/>Very much recommended for a house party and it fits the budget too .

Ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani for my team of 15 and got amazing reviews... All are now taking nap on their seats... :P Aside, I never had to take pain of calling or follow ups… the service was super cool they delivered just right on time actually before time… <br/><br/>Also, ordered Paneer Tikka Biryani as there were vegans too… Although, I don’t like Paneer but it was veryyy delicious and really loved it … The Rice was nicely cooked, flavourful and had the right amount of spices, the biryani did look pretty mouth-watering and quantity was really good… Will definitely order again…! :)

Ordered from here last time and had a real bad experience......the sheuzwan rice had less sheuzwan and loads of color in it.......chicken lollipop had less chicken and more of flour.....will never order from here ever again

These guys are nothing but a bunch of cheats.. Look at the menu price and what they sent as a bill.. What said 400on menu is 550 on the bill.. 500 is 700!!!! Even their own app food by kilo available on Android is has the same menu as zomato! It's your own God damn app! And he says we haven't updated it in 3years.. Sir are you kidding me! And that's my problem!? Will it was and I paid for it! <br/><br/>Even the bill name has hardeep Punjab and not food by kilo! I know it's from the same group/owners but clearly this food by kilo is just a con.. It's hardeep Punjab food at their prices in bigger containers! <br/><br/>When the delivery guy called the owner and I spoke to question them.. they said these prices are 3years old and I should have checked with them! It's your bloody business to update and not mine.. I have 20 guests sitting right here while I'm typing this! He refused to correct his bill menu and threatened to take the food back while my guests are right here.. I have suggested that as per old pricing your are charging me 1100 bucks extra and let's split this two ways and he started using foul tone.. <br/><br/>Nothing but pathetic cheats!

Ordered food for 16 people all the way to Thane and that too on 31st Dec Evening. Food was amazing. Quantity is really good. Starters were  very well packed in aluminum containers and gravy items in Plastic containers. Full Marks to these guys. You made our 31st party delicious.

Ordered the dum biriyani with tandoori chicken and it was excellent.but the real reason behind giving 4 star is something else. "The Service"...even though it was home delivery but the follow ups as review system after the delivery was excellent. Usually I hate the mock up surveys but the way these guys handle things too intelligently and you won't actually feel it as survey.
