Ideal Refreshment is known for it's rich legacy and authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. It is situated in Girgaon and is being associated with Girgaon's culture since decades.One of our favourite snacks item is their Chivda which is widely popular for 'Fasting (Upvas)'. Their Sugar Pedha is the best in town as it literally melts down your mouth. You can't resist yourself from having some more everytime. We even ordered Piyush (Maharashtrian Milkshake) which is rich in aroma and it pleases your soul the very extent. We will rate Ideal refreshments 5/5 for their timely service , polite staff and authentic dishesh.

I have been here a couple of times and I must say I am very impressed with the service at the restaurant. The location is quite serene as it is right opposite Girgaum chowpatty.
The food quality here is very good and the service here is real quick. But what sets it apart is the juke box at the restaurant. It has a combination of old and new Hindi/English songs. You can also make a list of your favourite songs and get it added to the juke box.
Having your favourite food and drink along with some soulful music is something quite unique about this restaurant. My rating for Ideal Refreshment is 4.5/5.

This place is re-invented now. Many years back, it was a typical Irani cafe serving breads and beers. Nothing beats the feeling of having a chilled beer overlooking the Arabian Sea 😊Feels like you are somewhere in the Mediterranean region. They have a juke box for the music lovers. Juke box is an emotional connect which is incomparable to any of the music gadgets we have today. The place is calm, composed and candid( just be yourself ), wannabes stay out as this place is real. It's good for a round of beers with your besties!!

im surprised its just got 1 review..must b d name as its popular by its original name 'bansuri' which got changed to 'ideal' for sone reason. so heres d history..dis place started as a family resturant parallel to d samrats and status cadre wid brilliant food..but wid time d food stayed consistent and d place became a full fledged bar which serves amazing food. dis place is between kalbadevi and marine lines and so in d evening u hve d business community rushing to dis place fr a quick one before dey take a 1-1.5hr local train journey back home..and dats how it has gained its loyal customers..d staff too is courteous and have been around 10-15years! i luv d place and has good memories catching up wid old friends
A basic bar with a nice ambience. The food is good, try the chinese. Drinks are cheap n have a good menu. Play pool with drinks, is good. Sit upstairs, it feels good. Friendly staff, good crowd, mostly men though, but never cheap crowd. Go there when at chowpatty n feel to have drinks.
Most Pocket friendly place... You must try Mini Batata Wada.... Now they are giving 3 types of "CHAKNA" as complementary.

Near the sea . U can look out of the bay windows. Staff are friendly and attentive . The garlic chickpeas are great.
