Great ambience, loved the service and food
The choice of options in the menu were quite elaborate with great suggestions by the staff
Tried the chicken penne pasta, avocado prawn toast
The portion sizes are quite small for two people
Great variety for the cocktails as well but a bit overpriced and some of the cocktails come in really small portions!

Had been here with my friends for a chill time and must say this place is so pleasant. We had ordered Fruit bomb e-hookah which was such amazing flavor and they really had such a nice service.
Though they really have limited option in veg food but their Pocket Pizza Starter is a must try with a tangerine chutney.
Oh and how can I forget Strawberry Coconut Shake such a mild taste of coconut it. Was really yummm..
A must visit place....♄

With tons of great restaurants and lounges, Kamala Mills is the ideal hangout place for many weekend enthusiasts in Mumbai. While half of the complex is occupied by various corporate offices, the other half is always brimming with great food, booze and chatter. The latest entrant to the complex is an Italian fine dining restaurant called La Lola, situated in the Oasis City Complex. We had a chance to visit the restaurant to find out what the hype was all about, and we have to say, we were far from being disappointed.

Specially curated by Advaita Vazirani, the editor of Food and Wine Magazine, the menu at La Lola is as exciting for vegetarians as it is for non vegetarians. Legend has it that La Lola has been inspired by a girl named Lola, a figment of restaurateur Ayush Sahani’s imagination. Lola is from Italy, and is the muse behind the graceful personality of the restaurant. From the dim lighting to the cozy seating, everything about the restaurant screams romance. The chequered floor, white brick walls, brass accents and mirrors all make up an elegant space that is ideal for an intimate meal. It helps that every table has a tiny candle flickering politely. A baby piano plays some jazz tunes in the distance, acting as the perfect soundtrack to what is hopefully a date with a special someone.

What we were served: Torched Brie Crostini, Fungi Tartufo Pizza and Arabiatta Pizza and Vanilla Pannacotta

Torched Brie Crostini - This nibble builds on the classic pairing of cheese, dried fruit, and nuts. A splash of balsamic vinegar helps bring together all the flavors. Chandon Brut wine complements it so well.

Fungi Tartufo Pizza and Arabiatta Pizza – Who doesn’t love pizza? We are totally crushing over this half and half pizza that satiates us on every level for its unique assembly of mushrooms and pasta sauce on each half.

Vanilla Pannacotta - A molded chilled dessert popular throughout Italy that fills the air with the delicious aroma of fresh vanilla and you won't be able to wait to dive into this creamy panna cotta.

In a nutshell, if you ask us, La Lola is a waste on your friends and family – this is a place designed to hold hands under the table, not high five over it. But that’s just us – you do you.

The place is good for Italian food but don’t expect highly - as it’s good not the best though. We tried the avacado toast, the pesto pizza , risotto and the arancini balls. The avacado on toast was good and the pizza needed a lil more taste to it.

My husband and I visited the restaurant last night for dinner. We had a great time both in terms of food and drinks. The vibe of the place is very warm and will make you want to hangout for longer than you planned. The staff is friendly and courteous. Must try - Fries with truffle oil, grilled prawns, salt and peeper calamari and margarita pizza. Their panna cotta is delicious and soul satisfying. I am definitely going back.

Had a pleasant lunch at La Lola this afternoon. Started with the avocado salad which was good. Then it was the calamari, which was perfectly fried and had good texture. Finally the best part of the meal was the Balsamic Salmon, for main course. Overall food had good taste. Very good service and ambience. Thanks to the Dine out festival got a 50% discount on the food and paid 1400 AI for the food

I am suprised to read so many bad reviews. I genuinely had a gread time there. It's truly amazing Italian food but the entree quantities are slightly small. We loved the smoked salmon.. oh that flavour. The mushrooms were great and so was fried calamari. The prawn pasta was really cheesy and heavy. Both chicken and seafood rissoto was good. The pizza was very cheesy with too many basil leaves. Go a little soft on basil? Overall great ambience and lovely service. Just a bit too pricey

Our Review: 4.5/ 5:

The hushed yet theatrical dining room is run by the 21-year-old restaurant greenhorn @ayushsahani. The chequered flooring, white brick walls, and brass accents make La Lola one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Mumbai. The seating here is comfortable and well-spaced out. The well-designed bar is an added attraction. The piano in the corner and the strategically placed mirrors add to the paragon of plushness. La Lola opens its doors for wine lovers who wish to kick off their evenings close to a pleasant vineyard, in the heart of the city. Along with India’s distinguished wine specialist Vaniitha Jaiin @theperfectpour, who has traveled afar and brought back 25 of the most exceptional wines. Coming to the food, we started with Torched brie crostini with pomegranate molasses was scrumptious. Fungie tartufo was a vegetarian pizza with generous toppings of rocket leaves, Mushrooms and Cheese. In dessert we had classic tiramisu and this was hands down one of the best tiramisu. It was an amalgamation of mascarpone cheese with the perfect touch of coffee. .

Traverse to Italy !

La Lola is another place opened in Kamla mills and it's opened in place of Talavia. The place has a huge seating area and we loved the vibes at the restaurant.

The staff is really cordially and helpful. Coming to the menu, the menu is short but covers starters to desserts very well, giving every person a lot of choices. We loved the menu and couldn't decide what to choose as we wanted to order everything from the menu.

We started with a very unique drink called the Kiwi Kiss and what made me order it was the addition of parmesan cheese and it really tasted good with a kick of cheesiness.

Next we ordered the Truffle fries which were just perfect and crispy. Also the smell of truffle oil was soothing and they were served with a side of a dip which was equally tasty and complemented the fries. A must order dish here.

Next we ordered the Crispy Calamari for one biggest reason and that was places hardly did them the right way. But la Lola passed the tasty and it was another must have dish here. The Calamari was so crispy and perfectly marinated and fried rightly. Also it was served with a side of lemon dip and the taste was just heavenly. Another highly recommend dish.

Next we ordered was the Chicken and Mushroom Risotto and it was just perfect in all terms. It was cheesy and was cooked perfectly. Loved the aroma of the risotto.

From the pizza section we ordered the Polo Piccante. Wouldn't rate it the best pizza but also not a bad one. It was topped with spicy minced chicken and cheese. The crust was medium thick.

Lastly we ordered the Tiramisu, and this was hands down one of the best Tiramisu. It was an amalgamation of mascarpone cheese with the perfect touch of coffee.

ETC'S FINAL VERDICT:
We loved the vibes at the place. It gives typical European cafe vibes. Also the place is huge and we loved the food and how the craftly the menu is curated. A must visit place for some good Italian food.

A relatively new diner in Lower Parel, La Lola has opened in Kamala Mills in place of Talaiva.
The restaurant is really well done up, with different sections and great seating options. Be it for a candle light date, or a dinner with friends or family, La Lola can deem fit for all.

A concise menu featuring all things Italian, it has been divided into vegetarian and meat options of antipasti, primi, soufflés, pasta, pizzas, dolci. We tried our hands on a couple of dishes.

Hand cut parmesan fries with truffle oil - loved these, they had a great amount of parmesan with a balance of truffle oil over perfectly fried fries.
Twice baked Camembert souffle - Slightly eggy, but the souffle was so well-cooked and fluffy. The salad served on the side complimented it really well.
Half and half pizza - We got the mushroom with truffle and pesto burratina pizzas. The mushroom with truffle was a good pizza with its arugula leaves but the pesto burratina with caramelized onions was the star of the night - we would go back specifically for this!
Pappardelle with Genovese pesto - This could've been better if the pesto was a bit fresher. The taste was great though.
Tiramisu - Even though we're not fans of tiramisu, we loved this one! Unlike the usual light ones, this one was dense and creamy and absolutely delicious.

All in all, La Lola is a great place to visit for some good food & delicious cocktails.

P.S. They even have Jazz music nights!

We visited on a Sunday evening . The ambience is superb...big group friendly as well as oddly perfect for a romantic date. I had my 7 month old son and he was very comfortable in his stroller with all the space and lights around . The menu is a typical one you might find in a restaurant in Italy except most of it is customisable which is the best part. We had caccio pepe which was delicious , the linguine al limone with prawn .....which were super fresh and succulent took the dish to another level. The pizza was a classic napolitan pizza really enjoyed it. The icing on the cake was Tiramisu...simply brilliant . Quantity is decent.oh yes the bread basket is a must order. The service is getting there...but the manager made sure we were taken care of . Had the perfect evening .. would highly recommend this place for authentic Italian food

Yet another lovely Italian restaurant which severes good flavorful quite authentic Italian food.  The Interiors are minimal and elegant.  The service is excellent.  Coming to the food.. I tried a couple of dishes and loved them all. We started with an Artichoke palm heart salad which was delicious and a fantastic cauliflower soup with a delicious toast.  You The Soup was smooth and creamy. Loved it.  Pizza .. half pesto caramelized onions which was a little sweet due to the onions and a truffle mushroom arugula which was my favorite. The crust was perfect and these pizza were delicious.  Tomato fennel risotto .. quite flavorful and a lovely hint of fennel. Cooked perfectly.  Linguini in a pepper parmesan sauce... Too hot due to the pepper, not very creamy, cooked to perfection..just how I like it. It was delicious.  Mushroom caps..one of the best stuffed mushrooms I've had. Loved them. Juicy, cheesy, Mushroomy..yum!  Brie crostini..another fantastic dish. Loved it. Crisp yet soft crostini with delicious brie cheese and Pomagrante arils. Must try. Tiramisu.. delicious... Loved it.  Panacotta.. even more delicious.. loved it even more. Smooth, creamy, not too firm due to excess gelatin.. was one of the best I've had.
A fantastic place for Italian.
Definitely worth a visit.

This place in lower parel is NOT to be missed. Had an amazing Italian meal after long. The finesse, textures plating and taste were simply perfect. The staff is very cordial and the ambience is just right for a date or business meeting or just a family meal or even a shoot for that matter. I tried-

Drinks- peachy take on whiskey sour. This is too good.

1. Broccoli parmesan soup. Absolutely loved the way they presented even the tasting portion. The taste was so good I could have had 2 to 3 servings of this easily.

2. Avocado bruschetta was excellent.

3. Torched brie crostini with pomegranate molasses is a delight.

4. Portobello mushroom caps- plated on porcini cream simply melted in the mouth. A must try.

5. Sweet potato gnocchi with broccoli and pine nut pesto was so perfectly flavoured.

6. Warm cheese and onion tart with arugula salad- this was my favorite in terms of plating, texture and flavor. Was a burst of flavour with that perfectly buttery tart.

7. Fennel and tomato risotto with porcini and truffle butter was amazing.

8. Spinach and ricotta ravioli- silky smooth sauce, with perfectly made raviolis was a delight.

9. Their pizzas are not to be missed. I tried the fungi e tartufo, arrabiata and pesto burratina. They all were simply yum. Very difficult to pick my favorite but I'll still go with arrabiata for the spicy sauce.

In desserts I tried the cheesecake which was freshly baked and warm and sinfully good.

A meal that I can eat every single day. So flavorful and yet doesnt feel heavy on stomach. Felt light and good after all that freshly prepared food. A must visit.

La lola is a new fine fining place at Kamala Mills that serves authentic Italian food. The ambiance here is very chic, classy with black and white tiles that goes well with the theme. The vibe is nice, positive and very romantic. Dim lights here surely takes you on a dreamy zone. They have beautified this place by hanging the frames of this beautiful and gorgeous lady Lola who hails from Italy and hence the name of this place. The seating arrangements are neatly fine with enough space between 2 tables so that you don't get disturbed. There are also big tables for kitty parties, birthday parties and for a big group of people. The menu is very crisp, limited and authentic and it serves everybody's taste buds. You can count on this place with your kids also as they serve delicious pizzas and pastas which is loved by almost all the kids. The menu is divided well for veg and non veg and they serve some exotic dishes too. The ingredients used here are fresh including the cheese, you can make out from the taste of the food. The presentation of the food is par excellent and gives such a visual treat to your eyes. All the dishes that I tried here were amazing and flawless.

I tried the following dishes here,
Brocoli parmesan soup
Best soups I tried in a long time, the soup was creamy, delicious and the texture was perfect. It was beautifully presented with a garlic toast. This soup is highly recommended here.

Avocado bruschetta
I have a love affair with Avocado's, I always end up trying this in the menu. I ordered it here and I must say that it was so delicious, avocado's were riped enough and the flavours were perfect. It was topped with cherry tomatoes and drizzled with balsamic reduction. A must try again here.

Spinach and ricotta ravioli lli
A fine dine Italian restaurant serving a delicious ravioli lli has been very rare till now. But after it here I have to admit that the chef has really nailed with the authenticity of Italian cooking. Ravioli li was stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese and was perfectly cooked, little thick and chewy but good in taste and was served with a creamy rich sauce. The portion size is just perfect for 2 people. Do try it out here.

Desserts
I love Italian desserts and there are very few places that serves a perfect textured pannacota
Well, to be honest I wanted to try this to figure out how well the chef has nailed with this one.

Vanilla pannacota
One of the best pannacotas I have eaten, the texture and the wobbliness was just perfect for a pannacota. It tastes just perfect and not too sweet. Was presented very well along with fresh fruits. It contains egg so if you eat eggs do try this out

Crumble pear pie with ice cream
This dessert was so beautifully presented, plated and tasted equally good. Do try this out if you want to try something different.

Cocktail
You remind me of a babe.
I highly recommend this cocktail here as it was so refreshing with pineapple, passion fruit, Vodka and tope with ginger beer. A unique one for sure and with every sip, I could feel the kick.

Overall, a great place to indulge in classic Italian food where you can come along with your family and friends. Full score for ambiance, food and service. Special mention to Mr Prashant who took good care of us.

The name La Lola itself gives you an Italian feeling. But this place is not your regular Italian bistro it's a proper fine dine and best for romantic dates. Super dim lights with candle light for an amazing experience with your partner. No doubt it is an unique addition to list of party hubs at Kamala mills.

Adding to this amazing experience the service was exceptional as Riyaz was the most polite staff I ever came across in any Kamala mills outlet.

We started with Wanderkraft the best signature cocktail at La Lola. A gin based cocktail with fusion of smoke cinnamon and tonic water. Watermelon and basil gave it a refreshing feel.

Parmesan Chips: Long fries topped with graded parmesan cheese and dipped in cheese tastes amazing. The fries were crispy and perfect.

Grilled pears mesculen greens: Not a fan of salads nor of pears but this time I tries something healthy which was actually tasty. Peers were grilled and pieces of caramelized peanuts.

Warm Cheese and Onion tart: Filled with caramelized onions above tart. Dressing with beetroots and sauces made it taste even better.

Chicken Parmigiana: Thick chicken breats grilled and topped with parmesan and tomato sauce making it a classic Italian dish to go for mains. It was served with a spicy dip to make it more moutj watering for Indian requirements.

Polo Picante: A Neapolitan pizza which was more than just perfect with thick layers of parmesan cheese. Chicken was well grilled and stuffed but the ends were fluffy.

Will be waiting for my next visit to La Lola.

Lalola means pretty girls!!!
A perf place for a romantic dine out with some candle light meals vibe! One can also go if craving for some delicious Italian food.

MUST HAVE’s

Coffee cremĂš brulee- This dessert was magic. The balance between coffee and the cream just melted in my mouth. Rich textures with right amount of sugar. This dessert definitely was crafted to perfection. Can deffo go there just for this!
OMG! My mouth is still watering as I type lol.

Torched Brie Crostini- Another fav from the menu. The surprise element in this was the pomegranate. I think that experiment was amazing.
Pesto Brie Pizza- I am not at all a pesto fan but the chef suggested this dish so tried it out and believe you me this was one of the most authentic and amazing italian pizza I have ever tried!

Aglio Olio- According to me you can test the authenticity of an italian joint by tasting their Aglio Olio n this dish is definitely topping the charts for me.

WHAT CAN BE SKIPPED :

Portobello mushroom caps -can totally be avoided nothing unique, I have certainly tasted better mushroom caps.

Avocado Bruschetta- extremely safe dish but the avocado was fresh n juicy so that’s nice.

Cheesecake- For the first time I felt the Raspberry didn’t go well with the cheesecake maybe the cheesecake was damn milky for my taste.

Over all a nice experience. Cordial staff. The place is expensive but definitely worth a try if you are looking for authenticity n good Italian food.

La Lola is an Italian fine dine which has such promising food that it surely is here to stay!

The ambience is very well done up. Elegant interiors and dim lit. Service was outstanding. We were served by Riyaz who was ever so attentive and always up for accommodating our requests.

We ordered the following:-
1) Broccoli parmesan soup - It was super creamy, was amazing in taste and perfect in texture. The presentation was so good! The garlic bread www topped with edible flowers which looked super pretty. Surely order this soup as it's a sight to behold!

2) Avocado on toast - Absolutely flawless, fresh avocados, super light and crispy and bang on overall! Was thoroughly delighted having tried such a well made Avocado on toast!

3) Caesar salad - The salad was on point! If only I could have such yummy salads everyday! It had the right amount of garlic which was really completing the salad. Surely try this!

4) Pesto Burratina-Arrabiatta pizza - On special request Riyaz got this made for us and we are thankful to him! Both the sides were top notch each having distinctive flavours.

5) Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli - This was the only okayish part of the meal. The spinach seemed uncooked and the ravioli was too thick thus seeming to have more of gluten in it. The gravy was decent but the Ravioli got harder as time passed.

6) 'You remind me of babe' cocktail - Refreshing ginger beer with Malta orange. This would be a crowd puller for sure. It was so revitalizing that we felt like ordering for one more of it! Highly recommended.

We couldn't have anything in dessert as they only have 1 eggless option that too creme brulee which I'm not fond of. I wish they would add few more eggless b desserts and maybe something for the vegans as well!

Senthil, the executive chef has certainly hit the right chord with his choice of dishes for this ristorante! I was informed that all their flour is organic and nutritive and comes all the way from Rajasthan! It's also fat free but high on gluten (I wish for some low gluten/gluten free options soon!)

But we really had a great time and would definitely suggest La Lola to anyone who is seeking for Fine Dine Italian!

About the place-
Kamla Mills, Lower Parel finally has one fine fine Italian restaurant in place of Talaiva. This is located on third floor, next to LOTD. The place is spacious with good seating arrangements right from a couple to big groups. The best part of this place is the service & food. Mr. Saurabh who attend us was very knowledgeable, kind & helped us in having a good Italian fiesta time. Special thanks to Chef Senthil, for making a good menu for Vegetarians & Jain to dine in. They have lot of varieties & coming up with some more dishes. The dishes are prepared in authentic style by using best of the ingredients. So here's what we had...

DRINKS
1. Watermelon basil mojito-
One of our favorite drink, made up of watermelon & fresh basil. It was cool & refreshing.

FOOD
1. Broccoli and parmesan soup- (Jain)
Soups always taste delicious when it has a component of broccoli & parmesan cheese. This soup was thick & creamy and was served with a toasted bread along with pieces of sauted Broccoli on it. Have it when it is hot.

2. Avocado bruschetta (Jain)-
Our love for Avocado is eternal and specially when it is available in Jain you just can't miss having it. Two toasted slices of bread topped with creamy avocado, cherry tomatoes & basil. It was delectable to taste.

3.Portobello mushroom caps-
It's a large open mushroom with an open flat cap. There were three pieces of this mushroom. The mushrooms rested on a porcini cream puree. They were soft, juicy & just delicious to taste. Highly recommended for all the mushroom lovers.

4. Pappardelle with Genovese pesto- (Jain)
Pappardelle pasta has an egg in it. Hence they replaced that pasta with Linguine pasta ( they are like spaghetti but thicker than the former) The pesto was just perfectly made with a balanced taste. It was cheesy as well as delicious to taste. A must try in Jain option.

5. Linguine Cassio Pepe:
This was something new which we came across. The cheese has a salty taste and the freshly grounded pepper goes very well with it. Only if you like that taste you will love it. It's made up of cheese & pepper. We enjoyed having this. A must try.

6. Pear pie- (eggless)
Its a pie made our of pear served on a bed of crushed biscuits and topped with whipped cream. It is served with a special and creamy vanilla ice cream which has grinded vanilla beans. Tastes good ...!!

DESSERTS
1. Panna cotta (eggless)
All thanks to the chef for taking good care of Vegetarians craving. The Eggless panna cotta had vanilla flavors, it was also soft & tasted much better with the raspberry syrup on top. Highly recommended.

Overall we had a lovely experience & definitely visiting again to try thier signature Pizzas.

Commendable service, top notch hospitality. Mr saurabh helped us with some of the best recommendations amd it surely lived up to its expectation.

Antipasta :

Two way baked camembert was served with salad and dip at the side. Camembert is typically cheese which was baked, stuffed with veggies amd presented. Portobello Mushroom caps was splendid too leave us awestruck. Avocado Bruschetta had generous amount of Avocado on a crispy in house baked bread.

Pastas :

Spinach & Ricotta ravioli was one of the bestest pastas tried in recent times. Papardelle with genovese pesto was one more variant of their Pasta which i devoured. That perfect blend of flavors was to perfection. The linguine caccio peppe was a bit bland as it more flavored with butter.

Pizzette :

Funghi tartufo was a vegetarian pizza with generous toppings of rocket leaves, Mushrooms and Cheese. Pizza base was thin crust perfectly how Italians prepare their pizza. Chicken calzone was a half moon shaped pizza with chicken mortdaella which were cold cut chicken pieces.

Drinks :

Wanderkraft is their signature Cocktail. With Gin at the base along with Smoked cinnamon & Tonic this would surely surprise you with its taste and the presentation as well. Pistolet was basically an old fashioned. Watermelon & basil was soothing for out palette along with their Iced latte.

Desserts :

Baked Cheesecake was the first of the desserts we tried. Smooth creamy texture alongside blueberry compote was again presented in a insta worthy manner. Vanilla Pudding pannacotta is their signature dessert. Can't miss out on this dessert.

La Lola

Perfection would be an understatement for this place.
One of the best Italian place, La Lola truly serves best of Italian flavors.
Authentic Cuisine, classy ambiance and amazing Cocktail and excellent service..

The ambiance is beautifully designed with comfortable seating, quite spacious, lovely retro frames. Set up of tables perfect for group and couples both.

The service, pretty amazing, top notch. Servers, well trained, perfect recommendation. Very well versed with entire menu. Making our dine in experience , surely perfect.

The bar menu, pretty amazing, specially tye gin Cocktail, The Vanderkraft.. gin lovers delight. Other recommended Cocktail- You remind me of Babe.

We started with the
- Bread Basket, a speciality from Italian place. Different variations of in house baked breads & Butter. Crusty Sour dough bread, Focacia Bread topped with olives & sun dried tomatoes and dark rye rolls. We opted to Pan fried Sweet Potato Gnoochi, dish of the day. Perfect Gnoochi. Lovely rich creamy sauce with herbs and Sweet potatoes crisp on top.
My friend opted for Ravioli, One of our favorate pasta. Perfectly cooked ravioli stuffed with the classic combination of Spinach & Ricotta, with Bechamel sauce, topped with parmesan. A delightful dish.
Pizza, there is always good time for a pizza to go with Cocktail. Yes, this place does serves the best pizza.
Pesto Burratina, One of the finest crust, with burratina cheese , caramelized onion to add the sweetness and Balsamic vinegar. Highly Recommended. We asked for recommendations for a rissoto, Fennel & Tomato Rissoto, rich Creamy, tangy. Amazing

For dessert, Vanilla Panacotta, wobby and well balanced sweetness and some fruits.

Overall , It was a perfect Italian meal. Kamala Mills surely gets a perfect Italian place, which i guesa was missing till now..

I visited Kamala Mills few days back and came across this hidden gem "La Lola" . This outlet serves the best Italian cuisine you must have ever tasted. The moment you enter you will observe it's beautiful crafty lightings and and classy and calm ambiance. Comfortable seating arrangement, spacious , mouth watering cuisines and superb service. Morever, the ambiance is comparatively different which u generally find it's candle light dinner setup and it's diamond ceiling lights adds more it..The best option for a date night. The staff was attentive and spontaneous and took care we made the right choices . They have good knowledge of the menu and service was rapid enough. Coming to the dishes, I had many things for the first time.. Everything was so different yet so good. They have amazing dishes and drinks though their menu is quite limited but they have covered a lot. What we tried : Broccoli and parmesan soup :It's presentation was mind -blowing. It was served with garlic bread placed on the top.. Beautifully decorated with edible flowers. The chessy element made it more tasty and quite different what we usually have. Breads :Some assorted baked breads served along with herb butter.. All the breads were fresh and it tasted reallly good. The olive oil added with it gives a different taste. Portbello mushroom caps -minced mushroom chopped finely and was cooked really well. The added cheddar makes it more tasty. I personally loved this.. Highly recommend. Pesto burrata pizza- One of the best pizzas I had so far.. It is droolworthy. The burrata made it a juicy and lip -smacking pizza. One of the best among the pizzas. Chicken Caesar salad- It was a classic one.. Salad was bebeautifully combined with chicken and juicy lettuce.Nice, subtle ,balance was good. Prawn tortellini - Its another droolworthy starter. It wasn quite different due it's wonderful coating.. Jst loved it. So delicious yet mild spicy. Rissoto - It was nicely combined with shredded chicken and was quite thick due it sauce. Margherita Pizza-Good amount of mozzarella.. The pizza was fully loaded with it. A good one to try. Drinks - Watermelon Mojito - It tasted good and was a bit sweet comparatively but the mint flavour balanced it really well. Dessets: We tried Gooey Chocolate cake.. Presentation was good not great .. The coffee flavour in it will make it's place in your heart. Overall a good place for a date and celebration.. It's calm and soothing vibes makes it unique and also offers good authentic cuisines. I would surely recommend this place.

I am not one to turn down macaroni and cheese, even late at night. I love Italian food but surely not a die-hard fan of pizza and pasta. My recent trip   to LA LOLA surely changed my perceptions about the two dishes and what emerged was a   Mama Mia experience!

La Lola takes the place of the earlier Talaiva which had a different cuisine. The ambience is eclectic with monochromatic overtones. Soothing, pleasing and welcoming.

What we tried:
Broccoli and parmesan soup – The cheesy element added the punch to the ubiquitous broccoli soup we are used to.

Crusty sour dough breads – Loved feasting on them while the dinner was getting ready

Pesto Burrata pizza – One the best pizzas I have had so far. The thick crust submerged with some enticing, tangy base and rich helping of the burrata made it a juicy, lip-smacking affair.

Smoked salmon – while most of my friends wouldn’t dare to try this raw fish creation, I found it divine and truly worth.

Portobello mushroom caps – A vegetarian’s delight for sure, loved the earthy, smoky flavours.

Prawn tortellini – a piece of art, done to perfection. This one will surely create a special place in your heart.

What they need to relook into:

The Risotto

The cocktails (the liquor quality and content)

The desserts (missed the wow factor to make it a memorable meal)

What stands out - The authentic cuisine

Came here with a friend for a casual dinner after work. The place is fairly large and has an excellent ambiance. The lighting is perfect for a date and the music is soft. They have different types of seating as well.

The service here is top notch. The server knew his dishes well. I recommend asking your server for the best dishes. The portion size is fairly small though. Pizza was the highlight of the night. It's easily the best pizza i have had in a very long time. Definitely order broccoli pesto gnocchi too.

La Lola is a one-of-a-kind, fine Italian dining experience which is all about a girl Lola, an Italian girl who is lively, chic and is the core of the restaurants dishes, selection of cocktails and classic décor.

Nestled in the buzzing neighbourhood of Kamala Mills, La Lola’s Giovanni fine dine restaurant offers you an authentic Italian dining experience, paired with the best of the wines. La Lola is located on the same floor as Lord of the drinks, Plum by Bent Chair etc in Trade View Building. The ambience and dĂ©cor is upscale, plush and elegant! This dimly-lit restaurant has a variety of seating arrangements, an impressive, well-stocked bar and each table is lit with a candle – something which certainly is ideal for a date night. They also have some quirky retro black and white photo frames, adding a bit of sass to the restaurant.

The staff members were friendly, helpful and courteous. They ensured that our meal was going good. The chef also dropped by our table to ask about our meal and took feedback in a positive manner.

Moving on to the food, the menu includes authentic Italian delicacies. Here’s what we tried:

1) You Remind Me of a Babe – A breezy vodka-based cocktail, with zingy, fruity hints in every sip, perfect for any time of the day! A soft and subtle blend of passion fruit, pineapple, vodka and their in-house ginger beer! This cocktail was uber refreshing and tasted great. Recommended.

2) Pistolet – A classic old-fashioned bourbon on-the-rocks with house-made almond syrup, angostura bitters and smoked rosemary. This cocktail was presented with flair as the rosemary was smoked to give it that amazing, irresistible smokey flavour. We also LOVED the fact that this cocktail was sweet and had a lovely smokey, earthy flavour! Highly recommended.

3) Avocado Bruschetta – Bruschetta with a generous amount of soft and creamy avocado and topped off with tender and juicy prawns, sesame seeds and micro-greens. The creamy avocado with the crisp bruschetta and the lightly pan-seared prawns were certainly the great way to start off our meal! Delicious! Recommended.

4) Smoked Salmon – A beautifully-presented dish of rosettes of smoked salmon with goats curd, and orange salad and asparagus. It was garnished with micro-greens, hazelnuts and beautiful edible flowers. The salmon had a lovely hint of smokiness in every bite and tasted good. The goats curd gave the dish that much needed creaminess and richness, while the orange segments cut through the sweetness. Overall, a perfectly balanced dish!

5) Portobello Mushroom Caps – Baked, juicy and delicious mushrooms caps topped off with cheese and sitting on a base of porcini cream puree. The puree was jam-packed with flavour and was silky, smooth on the palette. The bite-sized mushrooms were to die for! Would be a crime to miss! Highly recommended.

6) Prawn Tortellini – Tortellini filled with finely chopped prawns and served with a creamy, smooth and luscious saffron sauce. While the saffron sauce was divine, and we could really get that strong saffron flavour, the tortellini was hard and thick. The pasta sheet should have been thinner and cooked for a shorter time, leaving it soft.

7) Seafood & Pernod Risotto – A creamy seafood risotto with calamari, clams and prawns. While we expected this dish to have a burst of flavours from the lobster bisque, and the acidity and sharpness from the pernod, the risotto was average. It could have done with more flavours and seasoning.

8) Coffee Crùme Brulee – A silky, smooth crùme brulee with a nice bitterness from the coffee. The hardened caramelized layer of sugar on top gave this dessert a nice texture and sweetness. Tasted good.

9) Vanilla Pannacotta – A soft, creamy and smooth famous Italian delicacy with a jiggly consistency. It was topped off with chia seeds, a passion fruit compote and fresh fruit cubes – kiwis and plums. Wow! This dessert was not too sweet, just perfect! Highly recommended.

On the whole, we had a great fine-dine experience at La Lola. Worth a visit!

Located in Kamala Mills, this place offers a candle lit dinner seating to make your meal memorable. It makes the perfect place for a date in my opinion.
La Lola offers an extensive range of authentic italian food, starting from salads, antipasti, pizzas, pastas and more. This place has classy white interiors and the walls are decorated with stunning black and white photographs. They fashion a pretty bar as well which serves a wide range of cocktails and some refreshing mocktails. This place has a good collection of wines to pick from.

Chef Senthil is absolutely talanted and a very sweet person. He personally made sure we were enjoying the food and offered suggestions. Our host Reyaz welcomed us warmly and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied with the food.

We started off with broccoli and parmesan soup. The soup is a rich one. Loved this but the parmesan was overpowering the taste of broccoli. It was served with a bread topped with cheese and edible flowers. This was very appealing to me as not many restaurants serve edible flowers. We then went for a classic ceasar salad because nothing can ever go wrong with a ceasar salad! We then went on to try the pan fried potato gnocchi in broccoli and pinenut pesto. This was an absolute delight. Rich creamy pesto served with the softest gnocchi ever.

Spinach and ricota ravioli in creamy parmesan was a bit disappointing for me as I found the ravioli not so soft and the intense flavour of parmesan and nutmeg to not suit my tastebuds. We then called for an arrabiata pizza as I was craving for something spicy. It is topped with garlic, jalapenos and mozarella. We asked them for extra toppings of onions, bell peppers and broccoli. This was by far the highlight of my meal. I recommend this.

For mocktails, we called for watermelon mojito and green apple one. It was super sweet. I had to water it down as it was very sweet. However, the taste was great and perfect for someone who like sweet fruity mocktails.

We ordered the crumble pear pie which is the only eggless dessert served here. It is made beautifully with perfection. The balance of sweetness and flavours of pear served on crumble with a side of fresh vanilla ice cream. Could not resist myself and ordered myself an affagato. Which is a scoop of vanilla ice cream served with authentic italian espresso. Strong flavour of italian coffee poured on vanilla is the most perfect combination ever. It never disappoints..

Kamala Mills is now home to this shmancy new restaurant serving all things Italian!

If you do choose to check out the place you should try out the avocado toast with chicken and hand cut parmesan fries for your appetizers. They're both pretty good.

For our mains, we opted for the Lemon Fettuccine with Prawns in a dill sauce and quite liked it too.

Desserts were quite nice too. On the whole, we did think the place was perfect for a date night!

New Place Alert! The ever buzzing Kamala Mills Trade View Building is home to a swanky new Italian restaurant - La Lola. Lord of the Drinks and Plum by Bent Chair has a new neighbour. Ambience of the place is fabulous and elegant - dimly lit, well spaced out, impressive bar section. As mentioned above, place serves Italian cuisine and also wines so one can enjoy it the authentic way. Talking about what all I tried here - We started with couple of starters - Avocado Bruschetta and Hand-cut Parmesan Chips. Both of them were awesome. One who prefers cheese can go for the later. Parmesan chips are fried in Olive Oil, sprinkled with truffle oil along with some grated parmesan cheese on top, served along with cheesy dip. Heavenly. Great job done with Avocado Bruschetta as well, crispy Toast with layer of Avocado and cherry tomatoes on top. With food we also called for mocktail - Virgin Pinacolada. Mixed well, fresh and refreshing. I was really excited to try the desserts so we called for a Pizza and shared. We ordered for the Arrabbiata which had Jalapenos, sliced garlic and mozzarella cheese. We asked for onions and Bell peppers to be added. Crust of the pizza is just awesome. Fresh dough made in house. Pizza is made in Neapolitan style where outer crust is quite thick. I personally loved it, left the outer thick crust. Finally time for desserts - had couple of them Gooey Chocolate Cake with Vanilla ice-cream and Vanilla Panacotta served with fresh fruits. Chocolate cake was extremely soft and served warm, melted in my mouth. Tasted heavenly when had with Vanilla Ice-cream. Perhaps the best gooey cake tried in a long long time. Must have. I am personally a big fan of Panacotta and love to have it wherever a part of the menu. However if I need to choose between the two, this time around it has to be the cake. Staff was friendly and courteous, well informed. So all in all a fab experience at La Lola, definitely worth visiting. Come with friends family loved ones to enjoy a memorable evening and experience.

Loved it.

Avocado bruschetta (Jain)- Our love for Avocado is eternal and specially when it is available in Jain you just can't miss having it. Two toasted slices of bread topped with creamy avocado, cherry tomatoes & basil. It was delectable to taste. 3.Portobello mushroom caps- It's a large open mushroom with an open flat cap. There were three pieces of this mushroom. The mushrooms rested on a porcini cream puree. They were soft, juicy & just delicious to taste. Highly recommended for all the mushroom lovers. 4. Pappardelle with Genovese pesto- (Jain) Pappardelle pasta has an egg in it. Hence they replaced that pasta with Linguine pasta ( they are like spaghetti but thicker than the former) The pesto was just perfectly made with a balanced taste. It was cheesy as well as delicious to taste. A must try in Jain option. 5. Linguine Cassio Pepe: This was something new which we came across. The cheese has a salty taste and the freshly grounded pepper goes very well with it. Only if you like that taste you will love it. It's made up of cheese & pepper. We enjoyed having this. A must try. 6. Pear pie- (eggless) Its a pie made our of pear served on a bed of crushed biscuits and topped with whipped cream. It is served with a special and creamy vanilla ice cream which has grinded vanilla beans. Tastes good ...!! DESSERTS 1. Panna cotta (eggless) All thanks to the chef for taking good care of Vegetarians craving. The Eggless panna cotta had vanilla flavors, it was also soft & tasted much better with the raspberry syrup on top. Highly recommended. Overall we had a lovely experience & definitely visiting again to try thier signature Pizzas.

One of my current favourites in mumbai right now. Love the food, the service and the ambience. It has a pianist, unlike any other place in mumbai. Their cocktails are crazy and unique. My food favourites are way too many. The avacado crostini, crispy calamari; the onion tart and their pizzas are super good too. And don't skip the dessert the flourless chocolate cake and the tiramisu are great.

The food very nice - taste and presentation both. We had a pizza, baked cauliflower, fries and a tiramisu. Everything was delicious. I would have loved to give 5 stars but had to reduce 1 star as kids are not allowed in this restaurant. If this is the policy how will share the good experience with family?

The newest entrant in the ever bustling neighbourhood of kamala mills, La Lola offers the perfect Italian dining experience with dishes which are Italian staples paired with the best of wines. The ambience was very elegant with dim lighting adding to the charm. The seating was very comfortable and overall we loved the airy feel of the restaurant. We ordered: Mocktail: Watermelon and Basil which was very refreshing. Assorted Bread Basket: The breads here were just wow..freshly baked in house with an organic dough. A combination of Sour Dough, Foccacia with sun dried tomatoes and olives and Dark Rey Rolls. Veg Avocado Bruschetta: The bruschetta was super yum which was topped with balsamic reduction made of balsamic vinegar and red wine. Hand Cut Parmesan Chips with truffle oil and parmesan cheese: The parmesan chips were quite nice and the cheese sauce was quite delicious. Pan Fried Sweet Potato Gnocchi - The dish looked very pretty, the food styling was perfect and we really loved how it tasted. Arabiata Pizza: The 10 inch masterpiece was extremely delicious, the crust was amazing. One of the nicest crusts we've had in a very very long time. The sauce was also very nice a mix of spicy and tangy. Coffee Creme Brulee: Was extremely creamy and we quite liked it. We had an amazing experience at La Lola, certainly visiting again, The food was simply outstanding and so was the service, we would like to thank Mr Saurabh for the same.
