Absolutely thrilled to share my glowing review of Jambulwadi Bhelpuri House! A true hidden gem nestled on Kalbadevi Road, just opposite IDBC Bank, this place is a haven for chaat enthusiasts in Mumbai. Steeped in history, since 1941, this outlet has been tantalizing taste buds with their lip-smacking chaat creations, staying true to their authentic roots. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying some of their delightful offerings: 🥠Panipuri: Oh, the Chole pani puri was an absolute showstopper! An absolute must-try for anyone who adores chaat. 🥟Shevpuri: The papadi topped with an incredible medley of flavors, including potato, chutneys, onion, tomato, and a generous helping of sev, made this dish a true flavor extravaganza. Highly recommended, without a doubt! 🍪Chole Pattice: The Pattice made in pure ghee brought this dish to an entirely new level. The perfectly crisp Pattice adorned with simmering chole, delectable chutneys, and sliced onion had me licking my fingers in delight. 🍝Bhelpuri: A classic blend of puffed rice, sev, tomato, potato, onion, and the delightful sweet-sour chutney resulted in a symphony of flavors. A soul-satisfying experience that should not be missed! Jambulwadi Bhelpuri House truly embodies the essence of Mumbai's chaat culture, and each dish left me yearning for more. If you're in the vicinity, don't pass up the chance to indulge in their divine creations. Highly recommended for an authentic chaat adventure that will leave your taste buds dancing with sheer delight!

Visited this hidden gem today! Jambulwadi Bhelpuri House is located in kalabadevi Road Opposite IDBC Bank. This outlet is one of the oldest in Mumbai serving lip smacking chaat since 1941. We tried 🔆 Kanji Vada :- Moong Dal Vadas immersed in tangy mustard flavoured liquid. Kanji needs to be prepared a day in advance so that the flavours mellow down. It was soft and when dipped in kanji it gets softer and tasted heavenly. This one is highly Recommended ! 🔆 Panipuri :- Now who doesn't love these ? Puris stuffed with sprouts and potato masala topped with Mint flavoured water. I kept eating these till I can eat no more. A must try. 🔆 Shevpuri :- Papadi topped with potato, chutneys, onion, tomato and lots of sev. You can never go wrong with this one. It was flavourful. Highly Recommended! 🔆 Chole Pattice :- Now note these Pattice are made in pure ghee and this takes this dish to another level. Perfectly crisp Pattice topped with Simmering chole, with chutneys and sliced onion. This was finger licking good. 🔆 Bhelpuri :- Delicious mix of puffed rice, sev, tomato, potato, onion and sweet sour Chutney. Simple and soulful. A must try! The whole experience was amazing I just can't wait to visit this one again

Small shop very big loyal customers base. This shop is corner of lane measure hardly 2x 3 feet but the variety of chats they serve is really awsome.the menu is not very wide its limited but the teast you get from the items you order is unlimited. The shop is very famous in vincity as its serves the same place almost 80 years. Easy way to come shop from metro cinema comes towards Edward's cinema look the lane name jambhul wadi on ur left &this shop is at entrance on the left hand side or you can ask anyone they will give u directions. Coming to dishes my favorite is dahi wada which costs you rs.70 which some ppl find expensive for street food but the teast is priceless soft 2 pcs of dalvada with generous amount of dahi along with there chutneys n special sprinkle of chaat masala is worth. Rest all items like panipuri, bhel, kanji vada are good too. When ever I'm in this area or passing by I definitely go there.

Visited this hidden gem in Mumbai serving some delicious chaat and they are well efficient in serving some delicious chaat. They have their own taste to chaat continuing for over 80 years now. Swift service and well managed makes this chaat center a must try in Mumbai. Average Price set and polite staff. Quite busy in evenings. I ordered: 1. Sev Puri 2. Dahi Papdi Chaat 3. Chole Tikki with Desi Ghee 4. Paani Puri Each chaat item had good portion size. Sev Puri: Crisp Puri with loaded ingredients on top. There was good mix of crisp Sev with flavourful chutneys to go with and ofcourse topped with some fresh chopped tomato and coriander. Dahi Papdi Chaat: This delicacy is there speciality. There was perfect mix of each ingredient quite carefully. Sweet Dahi(Curd) added good experience to chaat. Soft Padi with Loaded Dahi and Namkeen on top was well served. Pinch of Red Chilli Powder and Chaat Masala added more flavours to plain and little sweet chaat. Chole Patice with Desi Ghee: Even this delicacy is there speciality. Tikkis made of Aloo and fried in Desi Ghee gives good taste to regular chaat. Chole mix with enough desi ghee which was really piping hot was topped with some more desi ghee. Throughout the chaat desi ghee played prominent role in adding taste. Topped with Fresh Chopped Onion, Coriander and Pomegranate Seeds. Paani Puri: Everyone loves Paani Puri and this place won't disappoint you. Puri was size was quite notable and little bigger than the regular one. Cold and Spice water with tangy tamarind chutney. Mix of Moong and Aloo as base mixture. Flavours were completely over the mouth and whole puri had good mix of flavours. Seating Arrangements are not made and I feel Chaat can be enjoyed without any seating arrangements. Good ambience and setup for serving. Hygenie and Safety is also taken care. Food and Taste: 5/5 Quality and Hygenie: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Seating Arrangements: NA

A hidden gem of a place in Mumbai serving delicious Chaat Items made in Bisleri Water. The stall is being run by the fourth generation of the family since it was established in 1941. Check out my reels on Instagram @foodmalhar for more.

Amazing food, beats and five star chat place, food cooked in pure gree, everything prepared by using bisleri ( mineral ) water. No heartburn or stomach upset post eating their chat items. Apart from chat items do try thier hot gulab jamuns. The owner is such a kind person and staff is humble and respect customers. Worth many visits.

Some people may find it too small and unhygienic, but factors they maintain hygiene and food served is not touched by bare hand.

The Jambulwadi Bhelpuri House is famous for it's chats.
The speciality of this shop is that the items which are made is by Bisleri water.
We can surely trust and it is very chatpata.
Its is hygienic.
Very good chaat available.

They make in filtered water, and the quality appears to be ok, but being a roadside joint, their utensils are washed by typically dipping in a bucket of water. A little pricey as well for a chaat place.

The dahi vada, masala puri, sev puri, they do are recommended. Their gulab jamun is good too.

Ragda pattice is a little too spicy. The gulab jamun and ragda, also come too hot.

All said and done, there aren't very many good chaat joints in town. This is one decent option. I would love to here if anyone had other recommendations please.

Amazing Pani puri. It's tangy spicy delicious. Same quality since long. Dahi Puri also too good . It's a roadside shop. Parking in by lane or main road. Even when it's a Roadside shop good cleanliness maintained. Have become a regular customer now.

Saw this small street stall in Kalabadevi area to be precise Jambhul Wadi of Marine Lines on my way and was tempted to have some Sev Puri.
It was made from basic ingredients and the taste was decent enough. If you ever try this don't forget to tell them to add the spicy red chutney in more quantity if at all you prefer your chaat to be spicy.
PS their puris are the biggest I have ever seen I was too stuffed to try it but whenever I am in the area definitely giving it a try!
Overall its worth to try at least once to satisfy your chaat cravings.

Food: (3.5/5)
Ambience: Its a street stall
Staff & Service: (3/5)
Cost: (4.5/5)

Visited this place somedays ago on a suggestion.Finding this place was a task as its inside some lane in kalbadevi
It's a street stall chaat corner where everything is made in bisleri water.I went around 4.00pm and everything seemed fresh and tasted fresh. The yogurt was too good.

I had Dahi Papdi Chaat and Ragda Pattice both were mouthwatering in taste but the one which took the credit away was the kesari Gulab Jamun which was extremely soft with hazelnut filling inside.Perfect Sweetness.
I found rates costly but the food was fabulous so spending over here is not an issue.
I would like to go here again !!

A big Thanks to all my followers and likers and A Small Request to all do follow me on Instagram @emptybelliedgourmet

I have a weak spot for pani puri. I see a stall am I am all gaga over it. I had this opportunity to visit this place for a quick bite. If you are new to Kalbadevi, then you may find it a little difficult to locate. I tried their pani puri and BHEL puri.. for starters it heavily over priced. Rs.50 for a pani puri. The claim that it is made in bisleri water. I don't mind paying that price but it did not take me to pani puri heaven. Pretty average.

Located at the corner of the road, this stall might not seem like something really great or anything more than a normal chaat wala. However, on closer look, you realise that everything they serve is in pure bisleri water.
Going by the usual pangs of hunger that we have, this one was definitely not on the list. However, after trying it out I really thought of how it was too good to not be famous.
We tried their Kanjiwada which was a bit sour and soft yet fluffy and tangy. The soup of the Kanjiwada was perfect and it made it digging into it much better.
We also tried their bhel and we never knew that something as simple as a bhel could be so delicious. Just the perfect spice, just the perfect khaata and the meetha made up for everything good. The kurmura was warm and the puri was soft and crunchy at the same time. Well it could easily be amongst one of the best bhels of Mumbai.
If you love chat and moreover if you love bisleri chat, then you must surely visit this place.

Ambience :3.5/5
Taste Quotient: 4/5
Service: 3.5/5
