RTI as it is popularly called, has been around for decades and recently had a facelift.
Today we bought some Apricot Crumble and Battenberg Cake and they were both extremely delicious.
The Apricot Crumble had crust which was crisp and not too thick with a Generous quantity of Stewed Apricot. Best had with a Dollop of Cream.
The Chequered layers of Vanilla and Chocolate Sponge in the Battenberg were soft and moist with thick Almond Marzipan around it.
Their Pastry Chef Hooma loves to introduce new items, which have been appreciated.
I have given a Five Star rating, which they deserve.

Ratan Tata Institute's cafe is a nice Parsi Cafe. All Parsi Dishes are available. Prices are reasonable. Taste is awesome. Seating capacity is very less but pick up facility make it more favorable. Must try Parsi Omelet, Chicken Cutlet, Bread Butter Pudding. Also must try all Parsi main course. There is Self Service. Ambience is good. No parking facility available. Staff is good and helping

Loved the savouries and deserts. Rum ball was just too good. Chiken with frills was outstanding. Very good food. I want to go back. They should open more shops.

Strategically located and easy to find. Their menu offerings are limited towards vegetarian population and the food taste is quite bland. Food quality and staff service levels are excellent.

Must try:-

Parsi Omellete Pav

Chocolate Tart

Chocolate Cake

It's been years since I have been consuming their products from different branches. I have a 60-40 like dislike towards them. It can sometimes be good and sometimes bad. Though I am absolutely happy with their Dutch Truffle cake. Here you can order cakes for birthdays and parties as well. Give them a try.

Relatively not so popular place around neither cemps Corner nor Marine drive .

But absolutely value for money , awesome service is same since last decades .

It’s more better when you want to take away food .

Old days back my favourite was omelet . Lovely taste lingers still .
Parking vehicles isn’t an issue too .

It’s better for take away food .

See you soon

One could choose anything here and it would probably taste fantastic. I've tried a lot of the options (cutlets, quiches, sandwiches, pastries, rumballs, puffs and cakes). Besides the things I've already mentioned, they also have pickles, cookies, jams, full meals (dhansak, Salli boti, etc.).
Been visiting this little eatery for more than a decade, which is a long time, and have never been disappointed. For someone as fussy as I am, that's saying a lot.
Everything is unbelievably reasonably priced. One could get a bag full of small eats for less than Rs. 500.
The staff is friendly and efficient. I've always done a takeaway and, not once, have they ever made a mistake even though I've never watched them while they were packing.
One of the issues here used to be that one had to pay in cash and they were often short of change. Ever since they started accepting cards, this has been dealt with.
There are a few seats for people to be able to eat at the venue but most people pack the goodies and take them home. Somehow, the set up of the seating area just isn't appealing. Just a few chairs and tables strewn about. I wish they would put a bit more effort into making this space more inviting.

It is a take away place for baked goods and Parsi food. There is just a couple of tables for seating but the place is generally not very crowded. So you can most probably find a place to sit. Everything here is very reasonably priced. The staff is very attentive and polite. We had an egg mayo sandwich and a samosa. Both were very good. With the price point and the quality of offerings, I really wonder why this place isn’t as popular as it should be. Hope that a few more reviews like this help them attract the crowd they should.

This place has amazing parsi flavours that keep calling me back but the only drawback is that it's an extremely small place with only one table. The place needs a bit of improvisation and increased seating so that a larger audience can enjoy what they have to offer.

Very well known for its patrel, pattice and dal ni Poori, visiting RTI  is a treat for food lovers. Seeing those delicacies on the counter I am sure you too wont be able to decide what to parcel.

Extending 6 outlets in Mumbai other than its main stall, its a place you can pick off the counter. You can buy a menu book for Rs 5/- that explains in details the prices, products and daily menu of every day of the week.

This particular RTI at the Parsi General Hospital has tables to sit and have a cup of machine coffee.
The rates were reasonable with Batata Wada for Rs 13/- Chicken cultets for Rs 22/-  Ravo Rs 35/- and Date Ghari for Rs 49/- We ordered two coffees, a mushroom & spinach Quiche and a chicken puff for Rs 132/-  And packed some Lagan nu custard and frill chicken chops for home.

RTI is a food haven for Parsi cuisine lovers like me. Have loads of memories attached to this place as dad used to take away food from here for us. Chicken Farcha and the Chicken Pie were all time favourite. I vaguely remember a sweetmeat made with daal and had a crust, but I forget the name :(
A must try for all the foodies out there!

I was surprised this place wasn't on Zomato! So suggested it. This place is heaven for Parsi food lovers. You name it they have it. The name and the exterior is a bit uncanny for a café/resto. But it's a great place to grab a bite. The food is mind blowing. Always fresh. The Farchas, Daal ni pori, Tarapori patio, Chicken and Mayo Sandwich, Chocolate tart, Bhakras, Lagan nu Custard etc. Everything is simply delicious and mouth watering. There isn't much place to sit inside so it's better to take a takeaway.
FYI: This place has been there since ages, literally!

Visited this awesome place & tried their "Tea & Coffee Affair" with delicious snacks, sandwiches & cookies The Tea/Coffee Charlie consisted of: ✔️ Finger sandwiches ✔️ Cookies ✔️ Chili Cheese Puff ✔️ Mushroom Puff ✔️ Chocolate Truffle Pastry (Classic) ✔️ Mango Pastry ✔️ Jam, Lemon & Chocolate Tart ✔️ Spanish Tomato Basil Quiche ✔️ Lagan Nu Custard (Must try) ✔️ Coffee/Tea To empower women from underprivileged backgrounds and give them employment opportunities, Lady Navajbai Tata founded the organisation in 1928. You can find their devoted customers purchasing their distinctive snacks, such as the healthy Bhonu, cheese quiche, cutlets, pies, tarts, and Tandoori chicken puff, at any time of the day from a weekly-changing menu. Their extensive range of desserts & bakery menu are worth a try. I totally loved this place & and I'm definitely coming back again🫶🏼😊👍🏼👌🏼 The place is absolutely amazing where you can sit & grab some snacks or have a takeaway as well as place orders via @swiggy & @zomato Thank you for hosting us😊

Dear Arzaan and Team RTI I have seen how RTI has constantly evolved, innovated and rebranded itself in keeping up with the culinary world as well as the requests of its patrons. I ordered the Ukadaichi Modak and was just amazed with its texture and flavour. The softest and fluffiest rice flour coating and within it, a burst of jaggery and coconut. I have always believed only true Maharashtrians have the edge over others in this dessert - but I can say with conviction that you have surpassed them too. Thank you for always including diverse items in your menus celebrating our country's vast culture, festivals and occasions. Warmest regards Sanaya Eranee

RTI has been a name my grandmother introduced me to when I was 5 so I have many reasons to feel warmth and love. But people who don't have that nostalgic connect wonder what my hoo haa is about 😎🤐. I could eat anything from there and love it. Because I might have tastes everything on the menu atleast once. The oil in the chops can surprise people who don't know about Parsi food. Vegetarian stuff is also awesome.🙏😊

A quaint little shop in Malabar Hill, Mumbai with great food(like literally) and not at all expensive by the locality it's in. Go out for a Sunday morning or evening snack and come back with a smile on your face, with their warm hospitality and absolutely dope food. (Do try their croissants, i loved them)

We had ordered chicken and mutton cutlets, omelette, chicken puffs, quiche followed by bread and butter pudding all of which were delicious. For drinks, we both had raspberry soda. I remember the ladies behind the food counter were very welcoming, helpful and kind. Unfortunately, I do not have any photos to upload but if it helps with credibility of my review - I am a chef and so very picky. By way of a background, my wife and I found the cafe in 2011 whilst trying to locate the Russian Embassy. We were both hungry! When we entered we were not sure if the cafe was open for public but felt very welcoming. I had made a note of what we ate on our visit but did not note the name of the cafe. I have been trying to find the name and address of the cafe for a very long time but thanks to Google I have managed now and look forward to visiting on our upcoming visit to India in 2023.

That RTI is known for its Parsi fare is a well known fact. It's delicious by the way. My review is about the wide range of other food displayed behind the counter. They have the BEST dahi vada in town and I've tried several places. It is my go to place to pick up snacks - tandoori puffs, a variety of mini quiches and more and my daughter loves their Mediterranean lamb wrap.
