I have had the opportunity to dine here two times. The first time, i actually dined at the restaurant, and the second time, I we ordered take out. We ordered mughlai the first time, it was really delicious. The quantity was good and I was really satisfied with the service. The ambiance was also good. The second time, when we ordered take out, we ordered the Chicken Titanic, Mutton Do Pyaza, Chicken Tikka, Mutton Hyderabadi Biryani with Tandoori Roti. We thoroughly enjoyed these dishes, my only complain is that the quantity was lesser compared to what we would have gotten, had we dined at the restaurant itself. The dishes were really full of taste and we especially enjoyed the Chicken Titanic. However the mutton dishes were a bit of a letdown, because there were so many bones. We mostly only found bones in the mutton dishes than actual good pieces. Anyways, other than that, if you want a taste of real 'shahi' food, do visit this place. The food is mostly affordable for the quality they serve you. The service is good. Overall, a good experience!

One of the busiest restaurant in Sheetal nagar. Always feel the aroma of crackling tandooris and kababs hanged behind glass while passing thru. Try their tandoori and gravies, simply awesome. What I don’t like is the sweetness in Biryani which occurs due to to the fried onion paste. I like a spice full biryani and not a sweet one.

I generally do not give negative reviews but this 1 knocked me off...called for butter chicken n roti...had food extra color had to use a lemon to get it off my fingers...chicken pieces were not found at all just recieved butter gravy i guess...roti was more like rubber very hard to chew..ruined my lunch meal l..very disappointing from this hig resturant shahi...i hope they improve thier qulaity..wouldnt recomend to order...additonally zomato delivery boy just left the parcel hanging at the main gate without calling me i randomly went down tracking it on the app and my watchmen told me that he left it for u..although i did not put any special instructions to leave it..i hope zomato does take action

So this place in Mira road is okayish. Not too great not too bad. It's an average restaurant with an average taste. We ordered chicken tandoori wherein there was alot of food colour used which was a bit disappointing, then garlic naan which was good and murg masallam too wherein the taste was pretty normal. It wasn't like that you can lick your finger. One thing that pissed me off is that there were flies all over and no it was not a rainy season. So yeah hygienic ppl stay away. Starting From The ambience..Yes It was Nice and simple as you see in all family resturants...Also the staffs are really nice and geniune..The ambience had a simple taste..Like You find it in every family kinda resturants...You can just chill here with your friends and family as well..I visited this place with my group of friends..It was an amazing experience for to be here with all of them Starting from the food..Yes It is a bit costly coz it offers you that a good quantity...and it is a very famous resturant..I ordered Prawns Fry Chicken Tikka and butter roti and thats it..we actually didnt came here to eat..But as we came and we ate,we really came to know the taste..And Yes It Was Pretty Amazing..Everything was and served freshh..The Kinda distribution done by the staff was also well..So this is full power packed place with everything up to date You should visit it with your family and friends as well Review Ambience-3/5 Staff-4/5 Food-4.5/5 Crowd-5/5(Family crowd) Quantity-5/5

Writing this review as I am upset about the reply given by the waiter... I ordered for an egg masala and I found a bone in it. .i asked him why is there a bone. He said that the masala for all egg, chicken and paneer is the same and this hotel is not PURE veg that's why we dint write pure veg. My question was if I get my vegetarian friends and what if tomorrow they fine a bone in paneer masala as the waiter said that the masala for egg, chicken and paneer is same. And veg is not pure veg. So all the vegetarian heads up .. be careful while eating veg in a so called veg restaurant but it is not a pure veg restaurant.. I think they should change veg paneer to non veg paneer...

Had ordered Dal tadka , veg kolhapuri and veg hyderabadi gravy from this restaurant. It made me think really hard of how can such a so called ‘famous ‘ restaurant serve you this kind of food. The gravies were too poor in taste and Dal tadka , which happens to be a basic recipe , had no taste at all. Very sorry to say, but the crowd that I have seen at the restaurant vs. the quality of food they serve is not at all in proportion ! For the ones who have already visited this place - hope you dont have such regrets; and for those who are planning to dine here- Plzzzz... I am sure you’ll find better options !!

I like their delivery speed. I ordered Veg Hong Kong Fried Rice and it came in a quick time. Thank you for not making me wait long. The taste is good. The thing i would like to see a change is the packaging Apart of being a good restaurant in mira road, I don't find the delivery box that good. Its just the aluminium one, the cheap as any many other ordinary restaurant uses. While i pay a bit higher then others outlets to you so, I expect a good food for sure and that standard of packaging as well. Also if you could increase/ exceed your delivery timings for dinner time then that would be great. One of oldest restaurants here. Shahi has been serving some of the best food items from the day i was in Mira Road and they have not changed a bit. They now have opened a new outlet in Bhayander as well. They serve the best tandoor items such as kebabs, tandoori and even the biryanis are worth trying.

The manager of the ac restaurant doesn’t have manners to treat a girl he actually abused and told to wait out being seats vacant inside and when I asked him this seat is vacant y u telling us to wait he jus ignored me and walked off. Later he came to us and said that when i tell you’ll to seat at that tym ul come inside and seat as if he is paying me to sit in his restaurant. He has so much arrogance and attitude he doesn’t respect women. When we tried to escalate this case to someone senior they where like forgive him we will make you’ll sit in non ac which is vacant. There is no customer service in this restaurant, these people don’t think about customers they only care about revenue which they get from customers. I won’t recommend this place to any of my friends family or nearones. If u want to get yourself abused and disrespected u need to visit this place.

Ordered Butter Chicken and Rotis one of their best dishes available on their menu. When i opened the salad container what i found was thats the salad was of the leftovers from others. The lemons were squeezed and used the pickle was spread over the onions. I immediately contacted the restaurant to complain. The gentleman over the phone was not at all apologetic instead he wanted me to send him pictures on him WhatsApp as proof. Once sent he called me to just ask if i wanted the sides again which i declined. Never thought the management would be so careless not empathetic at all.

They have Ac and Non-Ac separate place where the food items on the Ac room are a bit pricier but the pricing of this restaurant is one of the best and this what attracts a lot of customers Their specialty is tandoori items which represent the name Shahi. This place has been in Mira Road for a long time and is one of the busiest. Tables on weekends are hard to get as this place is jam packed and the delivery table is hard to get to due to the waiting line. The service they provide is the best and good food with proper service is what this restaurant aims at. Loved this place and would definitely RECOMMEND to try it out.

I think shahi is no longer the place it was used to be before. The food is getting average I know it because I have eaten from this place quite a few times. The service is getting poor the waiters does not have proper decency or manners to take orders they said "Kya chahiye" into our face and when we asked for the menu he just shoddily gave it to us.As we were very hungry we didn't left the place and ordered the food.when the food arrived the person who was serving us food looked like he was forced to do after serving he just slid the bowl and left. I no longer wish to visit the place again or recommend to anyone.
