"Derby" is a fantastic restaurant where you can enjoy many different meals and also has a different variety of mocktails. When you enter this restaurant the first thing you will notice is the excellent ambiance. The ambiance is on the derby based theme and looks really classy. Along with this class ambiance the lighting and the arrangement of the tables is also perfect. The bar looks classy as well and adds a plus to the overall look and feel. So the mocktails that you can try here are Kiwi, Watermelon and Guava. All the mocktails were served is beautiful glass and tasted really great. My personal favourite was Guava and Kiwi mocktail. You can try different starters as well. I was really very confused as what starter shall I order but I choose Mutton seekh kebab, Derby fried chicken and waffle, Smoked mushroom galouti and Japanese soba salad. Mutton seekh kebab was very much soft and juicy. All the starters were very well cooked and tasted just wow. Now coming to the main course you can surely go for Dal makhani, Katsu curry, Three cheese pomodoro rissoto along with butter roti. Dal makhani was so tasty and creamy that I could not resist finishing it full. Also, three cheese pomodoro rissoto had its unique taste and felt really rich in taste. If you don't have a proper desert along with it then you meal wont be complete and for dessert you can surely go for Gulab jamun cheese cake. The twist of cheese cake along with gulab jamun is something you can't miss. It was a delightful experience visiting Derby and you can surely consider going here for sure and you will really enjoy all the meals you will try.

Recently visited Derby which is a newly opened outlet at Lower Parel. It’s a multi cuisine restobar which offers Asian, European, Chinese and North Indian delicacies. With perfect seating arrangements and classy walls with artifacts associated with Derby have been put up all over. Hats, Cars, Trophies etc. gives this place a perfect association with the sports. Staff is polite and well mannered. As we tried their tasting menu, here’s what we ordered: Mocktails: We ordered three different mocktails in the flavour of Passionfruit, Watermelon and Guava. All came with distinguished flavors and my favorite was Passionfruit Before we began our meal, we were presented with Amuse Bouche which is a small palate cleanser, made up of of Guacamole Sevpuri with Edamame Hummus and Pico Salad – A mix of Roasted Sweet Potato and Japanese Soba Salad and Ginger Soya dressing. Nice to try out Starters: Kale Tempura Chaat: Now this one I tried for the first time. A Chaat made up of Kale. Delicious and well presented Dim sum: Two pieces of Veg Gyoza with Quinoa, cream cheese & Chinese Cabbage. Very soft and tasty Tandoor - Smoked Mushroom Galouti: – Great presentation. Smokey charcoal flavoured Galouti Kebab which were very soft and delectable. Worth trying out Maincourse: A perfect combination of Amritsari Soya Chaap, Vilayti Korma, Multigrain Rotis, Olive Cheese Naan, Steamed Rice and Dal Makkhani. For the desserts, we decided to go for Gulab Jamun Baked Cheesecake: Tried it for the 1st time and was definitely worth. Avocado & Honey Ice-cream – Nice flavour and worth trying out. Overall, had a great experience visiting this place. Do try out.

RestrobarI had been to Derby BKC outlet, and this time got a chance to visit their newly opened outlet at Lower Parel. The Ambiance is minimalistic yet classy which is done well. The seating arrangement is comfortable with good music. I was here for a tasting session. So, the quantity of the actual item may vary as shown in the photos. Coming to the mocktail, we had Passionfruit, Watermelon & Guava. All three had a different flavor and were refreshing. Coming to the Veg food, we tried 🔹Amuse Bouche – A small palate cleanser, made of Guacamole Sevpuri with Edamame Hummus and pico 🔹Salad - Japanese Soba Salad with Roasted Sweet Potato and Ginger Soya dressing. Loved the taste. The sweet potato was the highlight of the dish. 🔹Appetizer - Kale Tempura Chaat – A very different and unique type of chat made with Kale. Super tasty and perfect for those who like chatpata items. 🔹Dim sum – Veg Gyoza with Quinoa, cream cheese & Chinese Cabbage 🔹Tandoor - Smoked Mushroom Galouti – This was the best of all the items we had. The galouti kabab had that smoky charcoal flavor and was so soft that it melted in the mouth. Super yummy. A must-try item from the menu. 🔹Mains- Amritsari Soya Chaap, Vilayti Korma, Multigrain Roti, olive cheese naan & steam rice and dal makkhani. The best of this was the olive cheese naan and the dal makhani. Super tasty. Highly recommended. 🔹Desserts – (1) Gulab Jamun Baked Cheesecake which was very tasty, very different and fusion mix. (2)🥑 Avocado & honey Ice-cream – This was super tasty. Very creamy and flavorful. Overall the service was super quick and the staff had full knowledge of the menu. I’ll visit them soon for the galouti kabab, olive cheese naan, dal makkhani and Gulab Jamun Baked Cheesecake.

Derby is genuinely an amazing place to have a good time with your friends and family. The interior is unique and pretty. Simple dish like Caesar salad was made absolutely perfect which tasted great. The best part about this place was the food. Recommended Appetisers- 1)Mushroom Galauti Kebab 2)Garlic Paneer In the main course we tried Dal Makhani & Paneer Makhani, both were delicious but Dal Makhani is something you must try here. The staff was extremely nice. Service was quick and pleasant. We tried various other dishes, which was decent. Paneer Khurchan Bao was okok. The Paneer filling in the bao was not enough. In Desserts Sadly they didn’t have the Baked Gulabjamuns so we tried the baked skillet cookie and Siffon Chocolate cake both were amazing. Overall we had a good time
