Review Maratha Punjab Restaurant - Mumbai

Lovely taste & Ambiance with privacy....!! We went there for late night dinner, seems this place remains opened till midnight 12 am . Its located at sector 20, near shilp chowk & its easy to find. Its a newly opened restaurant with dishes from Maharashtra & Punjab. They also serve Chinese dishes. Ambiance: Ambiance is done well with soothing lighting & good seating arrangements. They also have small seating arrangement outside which is more pleasant. We opted to seat outside. Service: When we went, only two tables were occupied as it was quite late. The service is warm and friendly. They are helpful and quick. Whatever Manager recommended we tried those dishes & all those dishes were delightful. Food: Now when it comes to food, Non veg items seems attractive. We had a Promfret Fry & Surmai Fry. Both were prepared to perfection. Hot & Lovely...!! Later Chicken Kalimiri Kebab was just awesome...& So was the Chicken Banjara Kebab...!! In Main course we had Chicken Poha Biryani. This dish was highlight of our dinner. Different types of garam masalas with Chicken & roasted potatos in Poha Biryani. Loved the concept & the taste...!! Also, had Maratha Punjab special Chicken with Rice Bhakri which was again hot & nice. Full marks for all dishes. Also liked complimentary Pan Shots which were served in Shot glasses. Ambience is good. Pricing is okay..not too exorbitant. Good hygiene (sometimes flies wander around you). Taste for Non veg food is good. Chicken lollipop is not upto the mark. I would recommend it for a medium budget treat.

Considering my foodie friends' recommendation, we had recently checked out 'Maratha Punjab' situated at Sector 20, Kharghar. This Resto is indeed a good place to spend over food !! The decors are sober..... Seating arrangements are comfortable.....!! The staff are efficient & suggestive to try new dishes & customise taste preferences!! Regarding food, we had following : Chicken Hot & Sour Soup, it was steamy & aroma was awesome!! You will love this... Then we tried some Appetizers, Chicken Corainder Kebab, had an appealing presentation & quantity is worth it!! Kebabs are juicy & crisp to bite !! Fish Basa Koliwada, this are amazing with every peice to munch on !! Fish was fresh & nicely cooked !! Chicken Lollypop Schezwan, this were mouth watery!! Schezwan was a bit spicy just as we wanted & chicken was mixed up well & it was good tender !! For Main Course, Chicken Tikka Masala, was mind blowing yumm!! Chicken was minced well & normal spicy made it more tasty!! Chicken Poha Biryani - it was simply fabulous!! Chicken was lip smacking & flavours were lingering!! Quantity is good for sharing!! Maratha Punjab......really an amalgamation of Good Food, Good Ambience & Good music...!! It was formerly known as Daawat Restaurant. It was taken over recently by Maratha Punjab Group with same management with addition of many interesting new items... They are specialized in Malvani, Aagri, Punjabji, Chinese & many other dishes. We visited Maratha Punjab recently with our family for a dinner. Found this place to be a good new find. We had following dishes : 1. Chicken Kalimiri Kebab – One of the finest Kebab, we have ever had. It was so tender & tasty that we repeated this item. 2. Basa Tikka & Basa Chilly- These 2 dishes were prepared to perfection & we believed it was 2nd to none. 3. Malvani Handi & Aagri Handi- These 2 main course dishes were the real highlight of this restaurant. Being Maharashtrain, I felt like I was having these dishes in Malvan itself. They were so perfectly prepared. Felt dying for these dishes. Truly Authentic...!! 4. Chicken Poha Biryani : It was a big surprise..! We had this dish 1st time ever. It was perfect Amalgamation of Maharashtrain taste with North Indian Biryani. Smoked & Grilled Chicken & Potato in Poha Biryani..! Truly Amazing..!! We have never heard of such dish, it is no where available in Navi Mumbai except here. After all Dinner items, here came a surprise. A complimentary PAN SHOTs for all, served in small Shot Glasses. This again we never tasted anywhere. This we felt like having Pan after dinner. Well prepared...!! They also have small outdoor sitting which people can enjoy in a cool breeze flowing outside. Our Ratings for this restaurant : Food- 5 Ambience- 4.5 Service- 5 Overall a great experience. Its definitely a “must visit again” kind of restaurant. Till then will keep ordering online from them.

Maratha Punjab is the newest addition to the eating experience in Kharghar. Located at Sector 20, near Shlip chowk, this eatery is one of good find dine restaurants in Kharghar. It is a cozy little place with delicious Indian & Chinise cuisine, served by some polite staffers. The interiors of the place are well lit and it can house a decent number of peoples. Visited here for a weekend lunch and tried their vast menu. Started with their Chicken Shahi Shorba, one of a Kind of Shroba which tasted really good. Also tried their signature Chicken Aagri Lapeta - a must try for anyone visiting this place. For appetizers we tried their Chicken Corainder Kebab which was as delicious as it looked. Juicy kebabs served with Green in-house chatni, highly recommended. Next we went for the Mutton do pyaja which also prepared to perfection. Next we ordered a popular dish on the menu Chicken Poha Biryani and it didn't disappointed either. The Chicken Poha Biryani was flavorful from the get go and is worth trying!! Would definitely visit again to try out their various dishes.

I love this place for its Ambiance, it’s yummy food and the perfect fine dine experience . It’s perfect from treats to dates to a family outing. Recently we visited Maratha Punjab Restaurant which is located in Sector 20. Its a newly opened restaurant. We Had Crab soup, Tandoori Lolypop & Malvani Handi…with Rice Bhakri & Chicken Dum Biryani…!! All dishes were Truly upto the Mark, well prepared & Presented Well. Will definitely want to visit this restaurant again & try their other dishes. Recommended for Family & Friends…!! Food- 5/5 Service 4/5 Ambience-5/5 Value for Money- 5/5

I visit Maratha Punjab quite often and it never fails to disappoint. Chicken Garlic & Malvani Handi are my favourite dishes over there and their kebabs are great too specially the Kalimiri kebab and the Chicken Lahsuni kebab as well. Aagri Lapeta or Aagri Handi is a must try. The Ambience is pleasant and rates are good...

Very tasty and fresh food,This is Specially for malwani sea food. We went here on weekend and We ordered, prawns thali, Pomfret Thali And CrabThali. Food was amazing,super tasty and with enough quantity. Must try this place for non-veg foodies.

Must visit. All dishes are very yummy n tasty. Even they suggest and prepare as per we say. Please do visit guys 😍
