Review Lake View Cafe And Restaurant - Munnar

We had breakfast there for 3 days and a dinner once. Great food and prices, lots of options to select from. Would recommend to anyone staying in Munnar. I loved their pepper chicken! First we were a bit skeptical about this place because of not very high ranking but all local people recommended it to us, so we decided to to give it a try and were very happy with it. Last thing to add- if you come late for breakfast some options might be not available anymore.

I personally happen most of the time while I visit Munnar I'll be entering this restaurant because I think this is the cleanest and the most tasty food serving restaurant in that area. I've been to muneer like two times this year. One time with my friends, another time with my father. Whenever we are about to enter munnar, we certainly be having lunch or dinner in this restaurant . I have mostly had meals, prawn fry, kozhuva fry, poratta,chicken 65, chicken biriyani and chicken curry. The restaurant has a bakery called annapurni beside it where you get good tea and an ATM of SBI Bank near it. So obviously you can withdraw money. The place is quite clean. The toilets are pretty clean and satisfactory. The staff of the restaurant are pretty well behaved and friendly. All in all I have had a pretty nice experience whenever I visit this restaurant to fill my stomach.

Small place, not fancy. Tried veg Kerala thali 3/5 and Prawn masala 4.1/5 sufficient quantity for 2 people. Reasonable rates.

Paper dosa and Mysore masala dosa are their best foods During season time rush will be there so go and order earlier If you want to taste Tamil food in kerala The best place to go there for breakfast

Good food in Munnar. Decent price on the menu. Services are great. Not equipped for handicapped people but a better family restaurant since the average family can dine in happily

We went for breakfast around 10:15, most of the dishes were over... only dosas were available... we tried different Dosas and the best one was Mysore Masala Dosa and Paper Dosa!! Paper Dosa was hugeee!!

Had visited this place when I visited Munnar in 2013. Was surprised to see nothing has changed since than. not even the color of the walls. Even the food is almost same. We ordered the below food. The Manchurian had a very weird taste. Should be very careful while eating as some of the pieces has very small bones. You can chip your tooth if you have fragile teeth. Other items are good. Its one of the okaish place we found in Munnar.

Food quality is good, I have tried vanjaram fish which tasted delicious. Prices are decent and ambience is average. Restroom quality can be improved.

Good food in decent proportions at low price. Tried lemon rice and Kerala style chicken curry. Courteous waiters.

We went late for dine in (around 9:15 pm as the nearest restaurant were closed at 9). We were not choosing this restaurant for the netural ratings ( 3.4 ratings at that time ). But due to the late night and limited open restaurant we went for this. Dal Tadka , Plain Rice and Masala Papad were perfect and tasted so much better. Lemon soda was also on the mark. Service was all good.

Good restaurant for breakfast. Clean, quick service and decent food. Will surely recommend.

Decent food joint near munnar town. Parking can be difficult during weekends. No parcel facility.

For family I don't recommend... Atmosphere I did not like much... Try there fish curry it's good appam is superb.
