Review Cafe Ivy - Mussoorie

Beauty in the mountains with good food if not great. Good space for sitting outside and chill with friends and family on a weekend. You can visit lal tibba near by it for a beautiful sunset. Hot chocolate is a good option to try. Steak wasn’t tasting like steak at all, was more like a fried chicken. Service is a bit late over here. They should definitely work on their service.

What an amazing place has it been, i went there with friends for breakfast, amazing aesthetics and hosts, the place is beautiful and that will be all! Its nothing other than a beautiful space curated amongst the devdhar trees, the real and native of these mountains, facing the unimaginable mountain peaks in front, i could not have been more satisfied. We chose to sit putsode to catch some winter sun. The chai tastes amazing and so does the coffee. The burgers can be improved but still satisfying! One thing they can improve is to have their staff taking orders with a pen and a paper, there was a little commotion with our order which we asked already that you must bring a pen and paper or you will mess it up, we said to the waiter, as confident as he was, we didn't exactly got what we ordered, but life is not that hard so can surely be neglected, cannot wait to come back to Mussoorie for this experience again!

Visited Cafe Ivy, for the second time. And I definitely am in love with the place. The location is gorgeous 💫 It’s beautiful! We ordered for a Pizza, Cold Coffee, Hazelnut Cappuccino, Cheesy Fries. From the Bakery, we ordered, Carrot Cake & Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake. Ordered the Carrot Cake, twice! Yes, it was that good. The staff is also friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere, ambience, vibes are all top notch,food taste and quality is not out of this world but then who cares when the view,feel, atmosphere is so lovely and beautiful. Prices on the higher side but then again the location,the feel comes with a pain for the management 🙏 Pepperoni Pizza, barbeque wings and bakery products are a must try but definitely skip.... Landour has some amazing cafes all around which serves yummy tasty dishes. One such cafe is this which has beautiful views n top of that you can enjoy drooling food items. I went here for an evening coffee n totally loved it. Would come back soon. So finally i was back again for a lovely brunch. Tried few items in veg category n each item tasted good n yummy. Starting with tropical veg burger n olio pasta. Then came the tastiest tomato bruschetta n cold coffee. Next it was time for some drooling desserts n i had chocolate n apple cinnamon pancakes. Overall a must visit cafe for each n every foodie travelling to Landour. You would love the vibes of the place along with the food n beverages. The place looks beautiful! That was the first thing I loved about the cafe. I ordered a Lotus Biscoff Latte which was neither hot nor cold, disappointed. Pasta was satisfactory but not mind blowing.

Must try their Italian cuisine except Mozzarella ones (Mozzarella cheese needs to be baken fresh before serving). Place is situated in a lap of Landour, we had a memorizing experience their as always.

The vibe of this place is very nice, but I liked the older location much more, also the food quality in older location was much better, ordered burgers and coffee but was not upto the mark, staff forgot about the cheesecake I ordered. 4 stars for location

Everything from ambience location food quality hygiene namaste location was perfect. A must place to visit if you are in Mussoorie. Located near chardukan and is accessible via a beautiful landscaping either by foot or any vehicle. I would recommend to take a two wheeler there as roads are narrow and also for feeling the environment.

Awesome Interiors and Food. The cafe has a cozy feel to it with both indoor and outdoor sitting. We were staying in Mussoorie for 3 nights and explored as much as we can. So we decided to have lunch on 3rd day afternoon at IVY cafe. The way to reach this place is a task. We recommend that u hire a bike to roam around (for couples). We reached there in 50 mins. (For 15 mins distance). Place was nice n cost n we loved everything about the cafe. Outdoor seating area is nice and food is hygienic and tasty .... worth visiting whenever you are in Mussoorie.

The place is relatively new. Though not visible from outside once you enter the place you get great view of the valley. They serve primarily continental dishes. The pasta both-white sauce and red sauce is good as are their sandwiches.

Ivy cafe is located near chaar dukan ...which is one of the most sought after location in landour. The cafe has good options in Italian cuisine and reasonably priced as well. The most appealing point of this cafe is its breath taking view!

I studied at UPES for 3 years, but never had the luck to find this cafe open. On my recent visit, I visited with my friends, and must say the place had such a cozy environment. It was just like you're walking into your living room, just that it's much more luxurious! On top of that perfect food, ordered for mama roza pizza, which honestly is one of the best pastas I've had. Also had a pizza, unable to recall the name. Do not miss onto their hazelnut hot chocolate with a beautiful sunset outside 🌅🍜☕

This is one of the most cozy cafe in Landour. It has a great ambience and view.<br/>I had Alfredo Penne Pasta and Veggi delight Pizza which were extremely delicious.

While the location and the ambience, as mentioned in other reviews here, is awesome, the issue lies with the service.<br/><br/>The food is average. But the supply chain management here is pathetic. The wait for orders is really bad. The waiters do not remember your orders (here - belgian waffles) and keep you waiting for your food that is not even being cooked. To top that, for the ones that come, they will not bring the cutlery. It came to the point, where i had to walk into the kitchen myself to get the knieves and forks.<br/><br/>I'd give it points for the view, but then if you are hungry and really looking forward to your food, and get upset when it is not what you expected, then I'd recommend giving Cafe Ivy a break to catch its breath.

One thing I have learnt on my trip in Musoorie especially on overhearing other guests is that one should avoid ordering generic dishes like pastas, pizzas etc as it does not highlight their cooking skills. The Fish & Chips made with Sole is a great choice, both the fillets and fries had the perfect crispiness. The Mint Mojito too was refreshing. I was so delighted by the freshness of the Sole as getting fish in the hills must be a tough job. Loved the view, my meal and the makeshift bookshelf which helped me relax and spend some quality time. Once classics of Don William started, it added to the charm of this place.

A very cute cosy place overlooking the valley. The place has an amazing view and the balcony literally had clouds floating in. The staff is quite friendly. The music is good and the overall vibe of the place is extremely positive. The ginger honey lemon tea was to die for. The Maggi was also quite amazing. The pasta and the chocolate fantasy pancake was decent!

It's my favourite cafe in landour. I always stop by for some fish and chips with classic caramel cappuccino coffee. It's a place loved by all, you see small kids running around, couples enjoying the dates and same for families and friends groups. It caters to all. I love it's outside patio, best photogenic scene in entire landour. The walk alongside this cafe is a must. The owner is a really humble soul, do chat up if you bumped into him.<br/>Highly recommend this place!

Such a cozy space! Full of warmth and golden light. We were lucky to go at a time where the view outside wasn't covered in fog, and it was really amazing to sit out at the balcony and have our drinks.<br/>We ordered a honey lemon ginger tea and a hot chocolate. The tea was warm and not too sweet, just the way we liked it. And the hot chocolate was not too heavy and still rich.<br/>We spent an amazing time here, and next time we'll be sure to come on empty stomachs so we can enjoy their food as well!

Food with a view. This place is a super decored mininmalistic cafe which lets you enjoy the scenic pine forest with clouds on the way to Lal tibba with their srumptious food. We stopped here as we were starving and tired of walking. We enjoyed the waffles, coffee and bruschetta while roaming around the Balcony of Cafe ivy at the mountain cliff.<br/>

The climate gives woods sloping vibes.. A must visit, when in Landour. Actually went twice during my stay. The five star rating has a lot to do with the magnificent valley view from the balcony. Although the food wasn't extraordinary. But the rose cappuccino was lovely. Undeniably the best cafe in town!

A place if u don’t go to, your Mussoorie trip isn’t complete! Trust me when I say that.. a place with amazing view and great decor at the same time. A niche decor in Delhi’s CP style. This place is a definite 5! It's my favourite cafe in Mussorie. Literally everything you order here is delicious and Oh so fresh! It's the ideal place for lazy Sunday breakfast/brunch. The cafe has earthy wooden hilly vibe. Also the staff is really friendly. I first visited the place during summer and wanted to find a perfect pine. I couldn't find one outside, so they happily gave me one. That was extremely sweet! A must visit when in Landour :)

It’s a cozy little English style cafe. Food was yummy too. However service was horrible. Very slow . Staff was disinterested and rude.

One of the most popular cafes in Landour, Cafe Ivy failed to impress when we visited it on a Sunday. One reason for this could be the rush which makes most places in Landour struggle with service and space every weekend. <br/><br/>However, the food lacked anything special, and came across as average at best, to the point that we left after the initial order and finished our dinner at Char Dukaan. <br/><br/>The Pizzas were doughy and rather ordinary. The same goes for the pasta. A special mention goes to the mozzarella cheese used which was delightfully stringy. <br/><br/>The fresh Tomato Soup, on the other hand, was brilliant and perfect for a cool Landour evening. <br/><br/>The interiors of the cafe are rustic and go well with the local environment. This place is situated at such a beautiful location amidst mountain and clouds and the view is breath taking. Tried their vegetable Maggi and waffles. Although the waffles were little hard may be because they were eggless but the taste was great. Must visit if in landour.

Cave Ivy is a great place to unwind with the view of the hills of Mussoorie. The food is great. Had the chicken Caeser salad with a cinnamon cappuccino and a apple and cinnamon pancake. The most amazing part was that I could enjoy my afternoon in this cafe with my pup as this place is extremely dog friendly. The staff is courteous and quick and the place is a must for all those heading to char Dukaan.

While on a trip to Landaur we came across this cafe and decided to grab something from there. The view outside is amazing and the cafe is super cute! Loved the banana pancakes!

After hearing so much about this place, i went there for Sunday lunch. As the USP of this place said, the view is breathtaking. Not doubt. But the food is average. I ordered:<br/>Exotic veg pizza- the best of what I ordered. Thin crust pizza with lots of veggies. Perfectly cooked and cheesy. There pizzas are famous so yeah do try them.<br/>Jalapeno cheese garlic bread- not good. You'll see in the pics how bland and low it looks. The only good part about there garlic bread was the bread which was fresh and light.<br/>Fish fingers- not good. It was very oily. They served us mayonnaise instead of tartar sauce. It was accompanied by potato fries and salad which was the only thing I found good in the plate.<br/>Cold coffee- one of the worst cold coffees i have ever had. It was watery, probably they added water in it.<br/>I feel the location is truly amazing but the food is a big disappointment.

Yes, another outstanding place on the top of the mountain with an amazing view. Perfect for a sun-downer romantic date in the most romantic spot of Mussorie- Landour. It’s also known as the land of artists. Ruskin Bond, Victor Banerjee, Vishal Bharadwaj, Devanand, Setu - they have their houses hardly a walking distance away from Cafe Ivy. From the picture palace taxi stand, one can take a taxi to Ivy/ Char Dukan and if your partner fancies a romantic walk post the date, one can walk down the entire trail while your way back. It’s a nice hustle free romantic walk. Please note: the place closes at 8pm. If you still want to party then you can choose to walk down to the Glen near picture palace and sip some beers.

Visited this place with my family and totally loved the ambience and interior. It was wooden based with amazing furniture. We ordered mama Rosa pasta, veggie burger, veg baked nachos and cold coffee with ice cream. The burger tatsed average. Whereas the nachos and pasta were good. I found this place a little over rated. The cold coffee was well decorated and delicious.

What a wonderful cosy little place in the bustling hill station of Mussoorie. The food reminds me of some of my favorite cafes in Delhi. Loved every bit of my visit here, however during my visit their washroom was non functional. This was due to shortage of water, something which we have to cope-up with and accept when visiting the hills, it is the rush we tourists create that results in such problems. So I would not complain. I am surely coming back!

Cafe Ivy is a must visit when in Mussoorie. Tasty food, very courteous staff, great ambience, perfect music to lighten up your mood & most of all, an amazing view. It is a place where one can truly unwind.<br/><br/>We ordered for chicken kebabs, a chicken pizza (Don't remember the name of either of the dishes) and a hazelnut hot chocolate.<br/><br/>The portion size was really good. Though we were 3 of us and had a small bite before getting to the cafe, our order was enough to fill us up to the top.<br/><br/>Only downside was that the hot chocolate was a little too sweet, that it overpowered the hazelnut flavour.

This place have a great ambience and a great view as well. The view of those mountains and deodar trees makes you feel nostalgic. The foood is overall good. The best place to see sunsets and have a great cup of coffee.

Good food in hilltop. This cafe falls beside road leading to lal tibba. Dont bother about the dirt around, just go down the stairs. Its a decent cafe with typical rustic decor with valley view few sittings. Serve basically Italian cuisine. We had ordered aglio olio pasta 4/5, veg maggie,5/5, cheese breads 4/5, potato wedges 4/5. All dishes were great in taste. Reasonably prices as compared to hills. Recommended.

At this place right now, and it’s very apparent that you don’t qualify as a customer for them if you’re not sitting down. Waiting is a non issue but there is nobody to help you find a table / take your name down in case there is waiting / etc. It’s like going to a cheap overcrowded food court where you have to find a table by observing other people’s plates and used napkins. +1 for the view and -5 for the poor service, cold & untrained staff. Couldn’t try the food but the menu seems limited. Small shops at Chardukan are much better.. enjoying a Maggi there right now.

During the soaring summer temperatures we all friends decided on to escape to Mussoorie. Being a doonites it's a perk that we can anytime plan for Mussoorie trip. We went to Landour and there this beautiful cafe ivy is situated. We ordered Fromaggi Pizza, Hot Chocolate, Cold Coffee with ice cream and Brownies. Pizza had thin crisp crust and it tasted good. Cold coffee had ice cream blended so it tasted like normal cold coffee without ice cream. Hot chocolate was good and brownie was delicious and served hot. Overall a good place to be in.

Awesome place for the chilling out . We went there with my friends and we tried coffee and some snacks . We loved it and we recommend our friends also.

Ivy has a kickass view of the valley! <br/>It’s a dimly lit, treehouse type cafe, and it is just wonderful to sit here and while away your time in idyllic landour. <br/>Food was great!<br/>Had a veggie delight pizza which came nice and crisp with a delightful taste on the tongue. Toppings were generously used.<br/>Then we had the mama rosa pasta which was ohhh sooo goood! Perfect comfort food!<br/>Ice tea was not that great however, too diluted.<br/>Cinnamon hot chocolate at the end of the meal was the bow that bound it all together. Lovely, lovely to drink! <br/>Music was good, staff was extremely jovial and fun!<br/>Must visit cafe<br/>

Undercooked PASTA. HAD great expectations from this place. When I tried to tell it to the staff, they won't listen & rather argue back. We ordered 2 pastas, both were undercooked and the red one tasted horrible. OVERHYPED

Extraordinary is the word for this lovely cozy cafe located in the scenic hills of Mussoorie. What an experience!!! Just Surreal. On top of all that the food was delicious and the staff is amazing and very friendly. Located at about 5km from Mussoorie. This cafe should be on everyone’s checklist.<br/>Also amazing interiors.

What an amazing place!<br/>Was totally worth the 50mins walk. This place has such yummy food. And the best view one could ever ask for.<br/>I had the Hazelnut hot chocolate and Tropical Veggie burger.<br/>The hot chocolate was so thick and delicious. Must have .<br/>The veggie burger was also really good. It was served along with fries.<br/>If you are going Lal Tibba, make sure to stop here for a quick bite and the view.

Such an amazing place with a breathtaking view.. Perfect to spend few hours by yourself or with your friends and family.<br/>Did quality and taste is better than any fancy cafe in Mumbai. We ordered a mutton seekh pizza and I must say that it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had..<br/>We also ordered banana pancake which was slightly different from regular pancakes you get at most places. I went here on a date and fell in love with the place instantly. Its not just the appealing view that the place offers, but the ambience itself is supremely comforting and attractive. With raw, wooden interior and amazing food, this place is perfect for a special date. The courteous staff is the cherry on the top! The first place we visited after We reached Landour and were not disappointed at all. Perfect way to start the trip. Awesome views from the Cafe, nice cozy place, and to top it or rather call it the best part, The Food. We ordered multiple items like Pizza, pasta, barbecue chicken wings and Fish n Chips and all of them were made to perfection. Most of the times, when the place is good the food usually disappoints but this is not liek one of those. This is a perfect combination of Great place with awesome food. Not to forget good service. The view from the place is brilliant. Sit outdoor and you will love it. The Italian meat pizza and hot chocolate made a relaxing lunch while enjoying the view. The pizza was amazing in taste with abundance of assorted meat(ham,bacon,sausage,meatballs) and right amount of cheese. My husband claimed it is the best hot chocolate he had tasted ever. Service was little aloof but food made up for it. One of the best lunch of the trip.

I have visited the place for one time only. Their hazelnut chocolate shake is alluring and pizzas are also good. The environment is soothing and relaxing.

A nice English cafe one should not miss out in front of char dukan. The view from the cafe is amazing where one can sit all day long. I ordered creamy chicken toast, chicken sausage and mango banana smoothie. They all tasted good. If you love live music this is the place to go.
