It's an ideal spot to enjoy a chilly winter night. If you're looking for a place with great variety, quality food, and exceptional service, Cade De Tavern is a must-visit. We left with smiles and satisfied taste buds, eager to return for another round of culinary delights.

This place has a very vintage vibe and rustic feel to it. One of the mist memorable cafes I have ever visited. The wood fired pizzas along with old music and heritage style ambience literally take you back in time.

Aesthetic Cafe with good wood fired Pizza!! Loved the ambiance and music was good. We tried wood fired pizza along with Orange Mojito and it was delicious! But the cafe is always full and we felt that the place is a little understaffed as we had to chase the waiters to get done with our order. Overall Highly Recommended!

It's been 3rd time I have visited this place during my visit in Mussoorie. Service is not up to the mark but wood fire pizza definately makes up to it. All vegitarian as well as non vegitarian options are great! Drinks are also good but pizza is something which cannot be missed.

Warm ambience comes with not just the place but also with the hospitality. We were welcomed by the staff in a much friendly manner than any other cafes in Mall Road. The entrance displays a set of mouth watering confectionaries and trust me you won't regret tasting more than one. Don't miss their pizzas and hot chocolate ❤️

One of the best pizza(Vincent Hill Delight) of my life 😍 honestly, this place is heaven for Italian food and coffee lovers. Mr. Shailendra (manager) take cares of each n every customer personally with follow ups n makes sure that his customers enjoy to the fullest at his restaurant. They have a wide variety of cakes and other desserts which looked absolutely amazing. Whenever you travel to Mussoorie, it should be a must visit restaurant in your list 😍👍🥂

Visit this place for some mouth watering wood baked pizzas, the chicken tikka was extremely tender and one of the bests i have ever had, the shakes are great, the pesto pasta was fantastic, there was another dish with some chicken and garlic Toum , something like a Lebanese open shwarma. Amazing dishes and they also made us try a dish they were trying to introduce, was like a thai cutlet on a stick. Great staff and humble manager. You will not regret a trip to this place. We also had the breakfast plater with omelette and bacon , just go for it. An amazing collection of books to read.

Average shakes, attentive and courteous staff, good food....sometimes it may not match the traditional recipe nevertheless, the place serves tasty food. We orders for a ratatouille which is basically made of squash, aubergines and bell peppers... now what we were served were greens tossed in tomato and onion sauce topped with cheese. The dish was well prepared but was definitely not ratatouille.

Not pocket friendly, cost upwards of 1000 for two, however it’s totally worth the price when it comes to taste or portion of the food served. We ordered pasta and a pizza, while the pasta was penne white sauce pasta, was loaded with exotic ingredients and tasted really well. Pizza dough was really fresh, had good sauce combinations and generous toppings.

The hazelnut coffee was spot on not too sweet not too bitter, served with a plain sugar cookie. The staff is also very humble. All their pizzas are soo good, the basil is fresh and the drizzle of olive oil 🤌🤌

We visited the cafe twice during our stay. The food the service everything was amazing. The staff is very polite and helpful. The cake was extremely ftesh and soft and the pizza, pasta, burger was extremely delicious. Must visit place when in Mall road, Mussorie.

The only positive about this place is its great location-right on the Mall and the theme. The items of money have little to do with the authors they are named after. The taste is not all that great and for the quality served the price is on the higher side

No Bhangra here..<br/><br/>Where’s the burger ? Well here it is... and it’s a hit.<br/><br/>They serve up the Lasagne in White Sauce with Spinach. But I asked them if they could make me the original Bolognese. THEY DID and it was great.<br/><br/>Extremely courteous and efficient staff always ready to accommodate you.<br/><br/>How would you want to rate such a restaurant ?<br/>Well, I give them a full 100%<br/><br/>Just one word of caution while you are ordering your food. We tried dindori sula white wine, kandi valley salad, the baghdadi sandwich @ Rs 1600, a bit expensive on pocker according to mussorie but the taste was really good.

One of the best stuffed chicken breasts I have ever had. The balsamic reduction was on point and made a killer combo with the Cheddar cheese. The crispy spinach which was not too overpowering added a unique touch. This has been the highlight dish on my trip. An Officer's Delight is the must have dish here on a less crowded day. The Hazelnut Cappucino is another darling as both the coffee flavour and the whipped cream are perfect. Shepherd's pie(with chicken) was good too but I don't see the point in diced potatoes when mashed form is already there. The sauce too can be better.

Comfort Cafe in Mall Road that's perfect to accomodate large groups with various choices and even large groups with Kids; which is what we were and the staff was friendly and took care of not mixing up our endless list of order. We called for a lot of dishes while the kids had preferences of their own! Right from Hot chocolate to Pizza, Lasagna, Soups, Nachos, Quesadillas and what not and chocolate cake and chocolate waffles for dessert, we enjoyed almost everything. Yes, of course, this is no gourmet kitchen and the taste is very Indian-ised but in the winters of Mussoorie, this nice warm and cozy cafe with warm friendly staff is all you need!

The pizza was awesome and the blueberry cake was the most delicious pancake i had. This place is right at the begining of the Mall road and have an amazing ambience. Service was also pretty good. Loved it. Gonna visit soon.

This cafe is inside mall road. We had Belgian hot chocolate with chicken penne pasta in pesto sauce. I shall highly recommend this place as a must go. The Belgian hot chocolate I had was probably the best hot chocolate I have ever had. Staff is very courteous and nice. Their service is also pretty fast.

Garlic bread keema pav and mashed potato with chicken breast was our top pick among the dishes we ordered. Cold coffee shakes and mojitos we regular drinks which quench your thirst on any hot summer day. Overall good food which fills up ur stomach.nothing extraordinary about the food i must add.

Loved the ambiance, the music and the overall service.<br/>The food was another story varying all over with the dishes being served.<br/>To start with James Skinner Fries / Wedges, slightly over done and hence they left a burnt after taste in the mouth. 3/5.<br/><br/>Mussoorie international wrap: flafel in pita pockets with cucumber, tomatoes and lettuce served with Guacamole and tzatziki dip. The pockets were overall dry but the saving grace was the guacamole which lacked a bit of seasoning. The tzatziki dip was more of a cucumber raita than a dip, it lacked the fresh herbs and the garlic flavours it should have had. 3/5.<br/><br/>Four Cheese Pizza : Beautiful thin crust and good amount of Cheddar, Parmesan, Feta and Mozzarella. The crust was really thin and good crispy and golden. The base Sauce was decent and nicely seasoned. We sat down at D' Tavern just because I felt like having a beer. Then we ended up trying their millet pizza. The decor is very nice. Especially fantastic to sit at the table close to the road when they open the french doors. The one thing we miss in India/Delhi is beer gardens. All places we have visited are closed dingy low light settings as if we are doing something worth hiding. At D'Tavern it was a pleasure to sip beer, looking at the buzy mall road market, chitchat and enjoy a slice of pizza. The server was very good. He asked if we wanted to wait as the beer wasn't chilled enough. Explained the menu well. beer was served at the temperature we like. The pizza was in a short list of dishes that incorporated local ingredients. I was a bit unsure of ragi base but it tasted fantastic. The fig pieces in the topping made it extra interesting. I wish they offer more items that are based on local ingredients or flavors. We couldn't find a single thing in Mussoorie or dehradun that highlighted gadhawali cuisine.

I have heard a lot about their HAZELNUT CAPPUCCINO but trust me their normal cappuccino with cream beats everything they have on their menu to offer..... clearly the best place to sit, read and relax while sipping that delicious cappuccino.... a lovely lovely experience

So i have mixed reviews for this place, the only main we ordered, the white pizza, was a huge bummer, smelled really really weird, the oil gave off a very bad smell.<br/>But the hazelnut cappuccino with whipped cream turned out to be a pleasant drink.<br/><br/>Decor of the place is really really good, every wall is different. One has a map of mussoorie, another has quotes from writers, another has pictures of mussoorie writers, another one is decorated with birds. <br/>Music was amazing! Very few places have the right kind of music playing, this is one of those!<br/><br/>They really need to up their food game, no one likes to eat bad smelling food.

A nice place in the middle of Mall Road. The banana pancakes were okay and can be improved, fish and chips was good. The thing that surprised me was corn and herbal soup, a must try and the peach ice tea was really good too

I ordered a cookie cream shake which was thick and delicious. The tavern special burger and white pizza were amazing too. The service was fast. The food and ambiance are definitely worth the visit.

This place is relatively big compared with decent staff and lightning.<br/><br/>I ordered one Vincent hill delight pizza and one ITM officers yearning.<br/><br/>Pizza was great and had lots of toppings and was loaded with cheese which my kid likes very much.<br/><br/>ITM officers yearning was also really good. It was juicy and cooked perfectly. The chicken was tender.<br/>

Firstly the ambience of the cafe is really good, bright and cheerful. Inviting the customers to come in and have a taste of their delicious dishes.<br/>Went there today for the first time and ordered burger and 🍕. We went here at midnight and it was their closing time! But the best part was this cafe still welcomed us! This is the thing I loved the most about this! Like even during closing time, they served us! Loved their hospitality!<br/>Since it was their closing time, we didn’t want to pose a burden on them and simply ordered brownie with icecream! The walnut brownie was hot and fresh and i loved it! Come on, chilly winter nights and hot walnut brownie is a perfect companion! I ordered quite a few dishes including 3 different pasts and pizzas. In short, the pizzas are great whereas their pastas are very very bland! Chicken wings were also very nice.

Cozy place with good ambience and friendly staff. We ordered a vegetarian pizza, an arabiatta pasta, 2 burgers and an omelette. The omelette was really good and the presentation was good too. The portions were apt and the burger was the best vegetarian burger i have had in a long time. I would really suggest this place to anyone that visits mussoorie.

A nice English cafe with very nice seating arrangement. The walls are adorn with birds and English authors. One can enjoy beer or wine. I ordered Ruskin bond fish and chips and chicken burger. Both were good in taste

A beautiful old world cafe in the heart of a hill station. Located right at the starting of Mall Road calling you inside is this beauty called Tavern. The decor is woody and reminds you of a place right from those story books. <br/>The food is also delectable. It’s a kind of place where you wish to sit with a book on one hand & a cup of hot chocolate/coffee in another devouring in the taste & divinity of the place. <br/>The walls of the cafe will give you a sneak peak into the some of the best places Mussoorie has to offer, so just in case you are confused as to what to do & where to go; take a cue from the walls :) <br/>I have been to this cafe a number of times now, but every time I am there’s it an enthralling feeling to say the least.<br/>I have had times of coffee sipping to lunch to dinner all & must say the all time favourite is the pizza. A beautiful cafe in the mist of hill. It is in the mall road. With good ambience and service it serves you with good food. We had green apple soda and noodles and they were good. Price is a bit costly bit overall good.

This was my second visit and it was a great disappointment. The food was stale and tasteless and when informed, they did not replace it. Bad experience, won’t visit again. Not worth the money.

This cute little cafe is all the feels. The menu is interesting, ambience is quiet and cute, and food is tasty. I had a good experience here in terms of dining but honestly there’s room for improvement. Like for example, I ordered Landour’s favourite breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon and as soon as I took my first bite of the bacon, I was disappointed. I called the waiter and told him it smelled and was undercooked but they neither offered to replace it nor did anyone apologise or anything. That to me is a big No-No. In this world of variety and options, customer feedback is important and It was sad to see they didn’t even bother to acknowledge a dissatisfaction. The rest of the food was amazing but this one incident sort of ruined the mood for that moment, especially because I ordered that platter only for the bacon.

A beautiful hill station, heavy rains, up hill road and a cute looking cafe. What else do you want. This place is on Mall road and definitely pulls you due to it's interiors. A typical hill station cafe. Food is reasonably good with attentive staff. We had a cappuccino with some garlic bread and hot dogs. An apt food for the monsoons and everything was good. Just that the coffee had a bit of chlorine taste in it. All in all a lovely place though.

The thing which makes it more special is that it does not have a front wall, it is open anyone sitting in the cafe can have the view of the Mall Road. The Ambience of this place is very good, a cozy cafe which is very lively. Had pepperoni pizza and veg pasta in mixed sauce served along with garlic bread. Both the dishes were up to the mark. Had also tried their strawberry shake which was very good. The mugs used to serve beer were too cool and the staff very courteous.

What can be better than a picturesque cafe at a hill station? This place is beautiful and the food was good. I had plain cold coffee and chocolate waffles. Although the cold coffee was very good, I felt the waffles were too basic for the price they were taking and it could have been better. The ambience is perfect for a quick getaway especially if a person loves their solitude. I would recommend people for the ambience.
