Review Lovely Omelette Centre - Mussoorie

Fariha Jahan
The omelette was really very delicious. I took cheese omelette and it was very tasty. It took 100 rs per omelette. The shopkeeper is very well in behaviour. Must try!

No doubt why this place has a record of best omlette. We had Fluffy cheese omlette which was so yummy. The owner is also very sweet. Do visit if in mussoorie. Price is also reasonable.

Perfect place to eat eggy breakfast, everything was soo good little bit hyped but, the vibe was awesome their. If you visit mussoorie must try omlettes from their, plenty of other options also but preferred is omlette. That road is slopy so be careful to stand their. We Didn't waited long but sometimes you need to wait more according to the crowd.❤️ Overall experience was really good. We shared two plated among four peoples. So not very costly.

Lovely Omelette Centre is one of the top places to have breakfast in Mussoorie. This is located at the south end of Mall road and is famous for egg cheese omelette which costs 100 inr. This shop is quite old and is usually crowded, so expect a wait time of about 15 to 20 mins. The omelette is quite good - 3 layers of bread, egg and cheese (1 each). For breakfast, this is quite nice and the omelette is adequately filling for one. Last thing, there is no place to sit and enjoy this delicacy - you have to wait outside and have it. If you like egg and cheese, then please do visit this eatery and thank me later! 😎 For more details check out my instagram - yourghoshbabu Thank you!

Just as their name there omelette is lovely, loved the taste. We visited 2-3 times in evening but there was lot of rush and waiting period was minimum 30 mins. We finally got to eat omelette when we went there in the morning when there was no rush. I would suggest to eat here at least once when you travel to mussourie.
Nivesh Aggarwal
This is my second time here. We got lucky as he was just opening the place after lunch and there was no line. His omelettes live up to the hype and are delicious. Both cheese and butter omelette were great. Usually you have to wait for at least 15 mins before you can get your order.

Cheese omelette was fantastic. Owner was super nice and very respectful. Good food. Good atmosphere.

If you're visiting to Mussoorie or any nearby area, Lovely Omelette Centre is a must visit shop. You can find the variety of omelettes with amazing taste. Shopkeeper is very polite and very educated. He is very talkative person and share good knowledge about what he is doing. My first visit to his shop and he recommended me Cheese omelet or Butter omelet as his signature dishes. Since he is the only person working and due to his popularity he is completely occupied preparing stuff so you might get your order in 25minutes to 1 hour depending upon his availability. Must visit shop 😍.
Sudeep Singh
By far the best omelette anywhere. Pro tip from the owner - eat there, don't pack and eat later.

I had been to this hole-in-the-wall shop about a week ago, and was glad I visited! Having read about how rude the owner of the shop is on this page, I was prepared for the worst. However I had a good experience, and would suggest all to give it a shot at least once :) ______________ The Shop - We reached the shop at around 9.30 am on 14th December. There were just four people seated inside the small shop before us. The owner asked us to wait for a seat, which didn't take more than 10 mins given the early hour (I guess). While we were waiting we placed our order. The Food - Our order was a butter omelette and 2 cheese omelette. I had initially ordered one of each, but added another cheese omelette after I tasted the first one. The cheese omelette was to die for. Even though it is something you can whip up easily at home, to have it on an empty growling stomach was heaven. The owner was kind enough to accommodate our request of less salt and no chillies. The pricing - I did feel the omelette were a little overpriced (or maybe I'm just a cheapo :P) The butter omelette was for 70, while the cheese omlette is priced at 90. Each omelette is made of 2 eggs(whisked with onions, chillies and masalas) and 2 slices of bread. The cheese omelette has 2 processed cheese slices melted into gooey layers between the sandwich. The portion size - I'd say one cheese omelette is good enough for a person with an average appetite. I had 2, since I was super hungry and had a day of hiking ahead of me. After this, I didn't feel heavy or weighed down though. :) The host - Granted - he isn't the most cheerful of person's. But I wouldn't judge him for that (you never know what's going on in someone's life resulting in their behaviour). I decided to give him the benefit of doubt, and judge him for his food, which is why I visited him in the first place. In fact, later during the day, when we were walking down Camel Back road, the owner passed us on the street. I was surprised when he remembered us, introduced himself as the Lovely Omelette Centre and greeted my mum with a Namaste. :) ______________ So overall, I'd go back again for the food. For those who do visit, try and strike up a friendly conversation with him. It won't hurt to try. :) Cheers!
Karan Oberai
I loved cheese omelette :) went there with my sister and had like world's best omelette :) :) even the owner is really nice :) when you enter the shop and leave he will greet you with Namaste :)

Super se bhi uper... ✨✨ Party Time!
Uday Sharma
The guy is very rude to the customers and is arrogant. Probably because he is very popular, we asked for 3 omelettes and he delivered only 1 and that too we did not find great.
Malik Nishant Anand
Have traveled across India and world for food, but never found a competition any where close to LOC. You guys are clear winnera when it comes to eggs.
SHANK-EE
Really doesn't need my review... Very famous omelette... Nothing really extra ordinary in the omelette but tastes better than the others.... Really great guy... He serves free omelette to students who are in school uniform 😊😊😊
Ankit Kumar Mohanty
This is basically like the “Uncle Tom” of Mussoorie specialising in omelettes. We went here for breakfast, it was raining and the hot cheesy omelettes were just heaven. Uncle told us some towny stories and anecdotes. It was quite an experience. A must visit for sure.
Charushree Garg
Best omelettes since genrations. Don't be fooled by the tiny shop. The normal waiting time is 1.5 hours. And there is a reason people wait for 1.5 hours. Eat it to believe it.
Farheen Naaz
Visited mussoorie in winters love this place it serve best cheese omellet filling is so perfect and amazing whenever you visit mussoorie try cheese omelet highly recommended pocket friendly and amazed
Yummy Diaries
The best place to have an omelet in Mussoorie. this place is always crowded so plan in advance.
Vikas Singh
The place has a legendary fan following. The inside is quite cramped and you will hardly find seating place. But each and every order is prepared with care and love. No matter how long is the queue, he does not hurry and makes each and every omelette with same style. We had the masala omelette and it was heavenly. The eggs were cooked just right and the bread super soft. The wait is definitely worth it.
Divyangna Parikh
It's recommended on all the travel journals ans magazines.
Just not sure what's the hype all about.

3 variety of Omlettes served up, right in front of you!

Try it and let me know
Rhea Savant
This place is absolutely overrated and overhyped.
Unfortunately the “Lonely Planet” feature has gotten into the owner’s head! He was so arrogant to people and didn’t really entertain people who wanted to inquire more about the types of omelettes he had!
I’m sorry but I’ve had way better eggs than this place. I would recommend not to walk all the way till this place to ruin your morning for an average omelette and an arrogant old man!
Prakhar Srivastava
This eatery is unnecessarily overrated on zomato.
There is nothing special about the omelettes being offered here
An avid egg eater would not relish even the best option on the menu.
Also the preparation was not upto the mark. The omelettes were half cooked from inside and there was a pungent smell in the oil.
I walked for almost 2 kms on mall road from library chowk to explore this place, but it turned out to be utmost disappointment.
Flavia Lewis
The cheese omelette was delicious and oozing with cheese. But the charm of this place is the owner :)
Nihal
Its vert small omelette shop and behaving like a very busy big restaurant i asked for one omelette 40min waiting seriously 40 min woah 😅😅
Riya Pruthi
Definitely the best omelette in India! A small place in Mussoorie for the amazing omelettes!

Try out Cheese omelette it’s very yummy and cheesy with loads a bit of green chilly as per the taste.

Taste- 5/5
Worth the money- 5/5

Recently I had a yummy breakfast at this delicious hub. The person is very humble and managing this outlet and one important tip I would like to share i... U better order 2 if want one... Becoz order get freeze as u book it... High demand delicious cheez omelette... Really mouth watering... Simple guy serving best omelette.. Really appreciate the way he serves... 100% recommended for first time Masorie travellers
Meeta Kumar
A legendary place !! Tell anyone that you are visiting Mussoorie and you'd be told to DEFINITELY visit Lovely ka Omlette.

Nice omlette with reasonable prices.
Vivek Jain
Manage by only single person he keep waiting customer for 30 mins then say it’s closed. Over hype place nothing special. Owner can manage well but he is managing in same old way. He can only serve 4 people at one time. Only 4-6 people can only sit. He will not serve you without sitting. Impossible place.
Big NO.
Danish Jamal
Awesome cheese omelette....served hot....light and fluffy....yummy....excellent in this cold weather
Smita Raikar
Taste : 8
Value for money : 6
Ambience :7

This shop is located at mall road.
Always crowded.

Managed by single person
Menu is very simple

We tried cheese omlette.
The taste is good
I felt it is quite over hyped. People quoting like number 1 omlette in India
Never tasted such a tasty omlette

The omlette is tasty. In chilling weather you feel good when you eat hot food.

As one of the famous dish in Mussoorie you can try
Dr Sandipan Chowdhuri
Historic place in a picturesque location. This place serves only omelettes and that too a few options only. Cheese omelette was superb. Must try. Will visit again to taste the other options available.
Shivani Upadhyaya
Hearing a lot about this place had lifted my expectations so much that it ruined my experience I guess. The omelette was good, affordable and fulfilling. Still I didn't find the place worth the hype. And I've had better omelettes.

The owner was polite which was a plus. It's a small shop so you hardly find a space to sit. Also, you might have to face a long waiting as the place is very popular.
Dhruv
Heard of this place from lots of people
Tried cheese omlete and butter omlete
Go for cheese omlete every time it was very delicious
Service is quick and food was very crispy
Costed me 160 rs for both items
Deepak Wadhwa
This place brings back my childhood memories! Going here since I was 5-6 I think! For me cheese omelate is the best! They are in the same shop since donkey years and that's their USP!
Dr. Paromita Adhikary
This century old place near Mall road, serves only omlettes of around 3-4 varieties. Always crowded with an average waiting time of around 1 hour, this legendary place is a must visit when you are in Mussorie. We had the cheese omlette. It was superb in taste.
Abhishek Arora
When in Mussourie, you've got to visit this place. I tried cheese omelette for Rs. 90 and it is worth the money. The food was perfectly cooked and melts in mouth. They have around 10 - 15 options in omelettes. It is near green restaurant on mall road.

A must try for everyone.

Taste - 5/5
Price - Economical
Rahul Anand
One of the most legendary place in Mussoorie having history of more than 100 years, must visit for a foodie, serves only omelette and that too only 3 or 4 types, reasonably priced
Manali Acharya
I think half of the crowd of Mall road gathers near this shop because of its amazing Omlette... Me and my friend travelled from Delhi to Mussoorie just to taste Lovely Omlette. We travelled all the way expecting a long queue. Which actually happened we waited for around an hour , but honestly the wait was worth it.
Abhishek Khamari
Start the day eating cheese omlette which costs 90rs. at the 35 years old shop on the left of mall road when you go downhill towards picture palace. This is one of the best cheese omlette I ever had. One of the must try things while you visit mussoorie.
Sampurna Dhar
Let me start with the only things I felt could be better..

The seating area is a little cramped and the menu is limited.

But the food, oh god, the food! Their omelettes are easily some of the best I've had, and that's saying a lot. We had a cheese omelette (they're renowned for it) and an oil omelette. The cheese omelette lived up to its reputation and filled my mouth with cheesy goodness in every bite. The oil omelette was also good, but it paled in comparison to the cheese omelette.

This place is so popular you have to wait for half an hour (on good days) for your turn. There's only one guy making the omelettes and he's very polite and nice.

I would recommend this place on Mall Road for a quick lunch over most other places. 99.9% you won't be disappointed.
Mehul Mehra
The person serving here is using Nutrilite butter instead of Amul . And telling lie when I asked . His behaviour is also not good . The two men who started LOC are not there . And this 3rd one is doing cheating with customers . I request everyone not to visit this place . The experience will ruin your holiday .
Priya Choudhary
very famous and quiet different taste from any other common omlet minimum wait 15min for order but worthful prise starts from 70rs.cheese omlet is very good and a must try dish. serves cold drinks and cold coffer as well ambiance is u have to wait outside the shop for ur turn😂 but still its worth it
Kriti Kapoor
Lovely omelette centre is must visit if you are in Mussoorie and a fan of omlette I personally am a vegetarian and I don't eat omlettes but my friends do and they loved every bit of it.

The person making it was so polite and the prices are also very minimal
One omlette will be enough for one person I believe
Because he put so much cheese !

My friends loved it !

I visited Lovely Omelette Centre because I've seen it in many vlogs and heard good things u about it. It is located on Mall road, closer to picture palace.

I got Cheese omelette ordered, and it was absolutely delicious. Two people can easily share one omelette, unless you're too hungry. Its a really tiny place which can accommodate 7-8 people at a time. I made sure to go there for breakfast, so I got a place to sit and didn't had to wait at all. It is very crowded in the evening. Make sure you go when its least crowded.
Sadhika Gupta
Cheeeese omelette is lovely 😜 The waiting truly worth it because there is completely no smell of egg that most of despise. Moreover, it is wrapped in crunchy bread and as you take a bite hot cheese melts in your mouth. The best way to make your Mussoorie holiday a memorable one!!!
The Hungry Siblings
This place is very cold and authentic omelette shop on the Mall road.
this shop is run single-handedly by a gentleman who does charity as well on Sundays by giving free omelettes to school children. I ordered his famous cheese omelette and it was wonderful. This omelette had a perfect blend of spices and minced onions. The cheese inside was perfectly cooked. I recommend this to everyone visiting Mall road Mussoorie you all have to try this. Mall road will be infamous without it.
Rahul Bist
I went to this omelette centre twice. It had a lot of crowd. I didn’t get to taste the omelette but the shop owner was quite rude. I understand that you have a lot of people coming to your shop but you don’t have to mean.
Neha
We went there on recommendation from a friend and absolutely loved it. Make sure you order at one go or else you’ll end up with a waiting time of as long as half hour for your second order to arrive. It’s THAT famous!
The seating area inside is limited to 8 people but that doesn’t stop one for not taking a bite of the heavenly omelette they make.
The best one is the butter omelette. They use Amul butter and Amul cheese slice.
The owner is very polite and gets all the orders right, despite the rush.
Montu Darji
We are in mussorie for the summer vacation and I found this egg joint on zomato.

Very famous and only one which served egg omelets in mall road.

We have order their special chess omlet @90 bucks and trust me it's very amazing 💕😍 love it.

He used simple ingredients and amul chess.

In his menu only 3 items are available that is simple omlet @60, butter omlet @70 and chess special omlet @90.

They used 2 eggs. Take a note on that..
Rajesh Bhati
Heard alot about this place... Finally got a chance to try it... Truly amazing.. This one is A small shop with only one person cooking omelettes for you.. As such they don't have a sitting, just 6-8 seats inside the shop... They have normal, butter and cheese omelette.. I tried butter and cheese and it was bliss.. I wouldn't say it is something different or something unique but a nicely cooked regular omelette.
The reason I am giving 5 stars is because of the person running the place... He is never angry.. People jumping on this head for food but he is calm.. He has this concept where in 3 days of the week (I guess Friday, saturday and Sunday) at some specific time slot he serves only to children... Like a children's special time... No one is entertained except kids... All in all a nice experience.
Anand
Omelette made with love in this beautiful town of Mussoorie

Best taste
Reasonably priced

Cheese omelette - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Butter omelette - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Uncle running this shop is really nice human being and i wish there could be more people like him in this world

If you are in Mussoorie you shouldn't give this place a miss. This is definitely the best omelette you will Mussoorie. We tried their butter and cheese variants and both were delicious. There's usually a long waiting period here so make sure you come prepared.
Mayank Garg
Lovely omelette centre serves the best omelette, not sure about India but definitely in Mussoorie. They have options of ghee, butter and cheese. We tried butter and cheese omelette.
Both of them were equally good. One can see a layer of cheese or better between the bread and the omelette, which is unique. Must visit place when in Mussoorie.
Rajatt Sabarwal
Oldest shop serving tasty omelettes. However the price is bit on the higher side but then you must have once. There are long ques in the evening to get your turn. There are variety of omelettes, the one which we ordered were Masala omelette and cheese omelette. Earlier his father used to cook the omelette but now his son can be seen in the shop.

While searching for the good place to eat on the mall road here i found this mouthwatering omelette shop . I heard about it alot and here i tasted this . Super yummy omelettes absolutely worthy . They have a variety in omelettes and moreover attract alot of tourists who visit mussoorie. I absolutely loved this place . Sitting is leas but who cares ? When you get yummy food . I tasted cheese omelette and oil omelette . Absolutely filled with cheese 😍👍🏻pay a visit . Highly recommended.

I was in Dehradun for 3 years during my graduation. And every week we used to try and visit this beautiful lovely outlet just to have their amazing cheese omelette. This place is never going to disappoint you anyone in terms of food.
The only constraint here is the waiting time- but guys, trust me it's worth the wait.
Me and my friends at times have waited for more than an hour.
The waiting here is so much because the person doesn't serve you guys without you sitting, and there are just 2 tables there. This is literally because he wants you to eat and comfortably and not littering around the city as well. And I believe this thought of his, of serving fresh food on the table keeps this place going.
Absolutely love it. Highly recommendedrecommended.
Shantanu Agarwal
It’s the taste & the politeness the owner has towards the customers. Whenever I visit Mussorie, I visit Lovely Omelette Centre, which serves Oil, Butter & Cheese omelettes. Sumptuous, cheesy, buttery & delectable, that’s all I can say about the quality of omelettes. Love this place.
Kanak Khare
The person running this small omelette outlet is extremely courteous. It was a pleasure to try this place. The butter omelette served is a kind of french toast and has a great taste. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Mussourie. The seating space is limited though and there is a huge rush especially in the evening.
Siddharth Suresh
Quaint little food joint serving one of the most delicious omelette. Wide range of varieties with something unique in each dish. Service is quick and rates are light on pocket. View from this place is like cherry on a cake. Do try when on mall road
Reetika Sindhi
Yummiest cheese omelette I ever had. This place is really small and sells only 2-3 types of omelettes. It's mostly occupied because of its mouth watering food.😀👍
Sagrika Chugh
Ambience: 0/5 (6-8 people seating inside a small shop)

Taste: 3/5 (you can actually prepare it at home)

Money: 4/5 (90rs for a cheese omlette which doesn't cost more than 40rs)

Staff: 0/5 (there's just one guy who cooks and serves. He is a rude, arrogant and proudy person. Around 8-10 years back an old guy used to cook who was polite enough and rose this place to fame)

This small outlet received some awards claiming that it's the best omlette but let me tell you the truth it's a HYPE.
NIrav Ashar
The taste is very unique. The way he cooks is outstanding. He also gives free omelette to needy school children.... Ask anyone at Mussorie and they will guide u to the pin point location
Ratul Jain (taste_strikers)
Wowwww experience- I think they serve the best omelette in India. 👍
Specially their Cheese Omelette is something that nobody can miss . Even a pure vegetarian will want to have it once ✅
They make it in a totally unique way, uses amul cheese with bread topped on the omelette .
It tastes so delicious that in every bite of it your mouth fills full of cheese. 😋😋
Whenever i visit mussoorie i definitely visit this place.
Highly Recommended👌
Akash Aggarwal
Lovely omelette serves best omelette as per lonely planet. This place definately serve some good omelette but not the best in India

I ordered cheese omelette today which was quite delicious but frankly not worth 30 minutes of wait which I have to do as I really wanted to have a taste of this place.

Do visit this place if you are in Mussoorie but not worth waiting for.
Arvind Chatterjee
Great place to have good omelette. The cheese omelette is to die for.The guy is very nice and its a highly recomended place to have Omelette
.......
Puja Deb
They claim to be the best omlette ever and I definitely vouch for that. Best cheese omlette.. perfectly done. Only con is the space crunch and high price. Expect long waiting time during peak hours.
Auto
Just a normal bread omelette is what this place serves with long waiting and other tantrums (closed/school only, etc. etc.). Nothing out of the world, any street side vendor serves the same stuff. People seem to be flocking here only due to the hype created on the internet
Tanvi Choudhary
Cute little shop in mussorie mall road.
Simple and tasty omelette with melted cheese in your mouth with green chilies and hot coffee!! 🤤
When in mussorie then visiting this place is a must.
Read about this place in blogs and also heard from friends. And if I haven't visited this place it would have been a huge mistake. A small eatery but really lovely omelette. Ordered, cheese omelette and butter omelette...I guess it's a must have one!

Best ever omelettes ive had till date. I will suggest y’all to visit this place to have omelettes on that chilled mussoorie. This place got the best omelette award in 90s. I wonder why this didnt got these years.

Ive tried butter omelette and cheese omelette. Both are awesome where as butter omelette was extra awesome.
Rajib Bhattacharjee
Good place, a tad too expensive, friendly chef, easy to reach. Tastes nice, they have just a couple options, so no problem in choosing. Go before schools get over or the place is a crowded mess. Cheese omlette is a must try
Rajesh Singh
This is situated near to green chok mall Road mussoorie and one has not so many options in omelette here. And amazing taste also # so yummy, if u visit mussorie this is the must visit place in mussorie
Ronak Chhatwal
1 star for them because there is nothing below that..the over hyped outlet and the fake attitude spoiled our trip not worth 😏, urrhhhgggh ( this is just to match the word count)
Abhishek Sarvadhikari
This place was suggested by many and finally paid a visit to this place. Tried their butter omlette which was actually good and tasty. Had to wait for half an hour for a piece of omlette. Owner uncle was very nice enjoyed talking to him.
Nk
Had a 'lovely' experience here. Though it is a small shop, you cannot miss it because of the rush outside it. We went at arnd 8 and there was a 'waiting' of 10 mins. They have quite a few options of omelettes - butter, oil, cheese...we had butter omelette which was served with two pieces of bread.
Worth the money!
Swati Bhatnagar
Sometimes this is the only reason I go to Mussoorie for! A must have for every eggetarian. Uncle is very sweet and always never let’s you go after just 1 plate. The best cheese omelette I’ve ever had!
Pratik Deshmukh
The taste was lovely but seating arrangement and ambiance not that great . But the taste was great and a bit oily , if u wanna gain weight this is the right place for you
Maidan Singh
Its a very old outlet on mall road which makes excellent omelette ,
We ordered Cheese and butter omelette, both where yummy .
The owner of the outlet has a lot of interesting stories to tell . A must visit if you are in Mussoorie .
Angad Mahindru
I went there for breakfast. They serve 3 type of omelettes
Oil
Butter
Cheese

I ordered the cheese omelette. I was very tasty filled with cheese and was also cooked well. The person who make the omelette is polite but always keep telling that they are the best. Waiting time is way too much but if you can wait then the place is good
Dr. Arindam Chandra
It was my first visit to both mussorie and Lovely omelette centre, after reading positive reviews in many blogs I thought to try the famous omelette over here. And it fulfilled all my expectations. Small shop situated in mall road. I ordered cheese omelette, and it was sooooooo amazing.. i never had such mouthwatering fluffy and juicy omelette. Will definitely visit again whenever i plan next.
Vageesha Bahel
One of the most famous omelette centers in town. This place has been featured in some of the best blogs and magazines. It is a must try when in Mussorie and you must try Omelettes here.
Sambit Dutta
3 varities of omelette availble, Oil, butter and cheese. I had the butter omelette and the taste was good. People coming to mall road should try it once.
Harsh Batra
His quality proves the tag this amazing man got "Best omelette in India". This person's polite nature and behaviour adds flavour to his recipes. MUST PLACE TO VISIT.
Kanishk Bhatia

Gautam Sharma
This place serves the best omelette in town. The specialities are Cheese omelette and butter omelette. Taste is absolutely up to the mark. Price is little high. Average waiting time is 15 minutes
Meghan Pithadiya
If you are egg lover then you must visit this place while you are in Mussoorie. This joint is located in the main market called Mall Road and they are only preparing Omlett nothing else.

There are three types of options available, Omlett with Oil, butter and cheese.

Cheese Omlett one of the best option and taste is too yum and you will not find better than this within Mussoorie.

Just go for it.

Lovely omelette centre is indeed a lovely place 😍 A small shop in the corner of the Mall road is a blink & miss sorta a place. But the one thing that distincts it from the other shops is the crowd that gathers outside the shop for the wonderful omelettes.
It’s a very small shop with limited seating and long waiting. During winters when it’s the peak time the waiting can go upto 45 mins so be prepared to wait for the amazing food.
Though like many places this one doesn’t have many options to choose from but the ones on offer are really good. The cheese omelette is a must made with utter love and a long history.
The wonderful weather makes it an even more compulsory option to have when in Mall Road.
The owner makes the food himself & is a wonderful host, you can talk to him about his place & the history of Mall Road & his omelette Centre & he would be happy to help if the waiting ain’t too long.
P.S. the shop has special service for the students of Mussoorie boarding school & also offers the omelette for free if the students don’t have money to buy the food.
All in all a very good option to try when in Mall Road.
Hiren Sharma
Lovely omelette is a small shop with hardly four feet front and could easily be missed on Mall road.
The shop has cramped sitting for 7-8 PPL but it all goes away when you taste the food.
The owner is courteous and would make u sit comfortably.
We tried their Cheese omelette for which they use cheese slices with two bread slices.
We even tried their butter omelette and it tasted equally good.
Ofcourse cheese omelette was the highlight of the two.
Again a must visit if you are on Mall road.
Nekhat Perveen
It's a small shop with seating for around 6 to 8 people. I found this place to be a bit hyped. Yes the cheese omlette was nice specially on a cold morning, but do not have high hopes.
Ankit Kapoor
So I planned to visit the famous Lovely Omelette.I tried their famous Cheese Omellette and I was just short of words. They do serve different omelettes too but their cheese omelettes standout among all.

A trip to Mussoorie is not complete without a visit to the lovely omelette center .
The omelettes are buttery , light and super tasty .
The cheese omelet is a must try .

A tip :-
Be patient enough to wait for your turn and the demand is high during season and they have one stove for the cooking .
The owner only serves school kids during the day on weekends .

Walking bylanes of mussoorie, having omelette is a must have. The perfect dish which compliments the cool weather, the breezing cloud and the serene vicinity. Lovely omelette centre is the perfect place for that. It serves a variety of omelettes which are all worth trying.
What we had-
Butter omelette

If you eat egg then you would like omelette here....if you are visiting this place during peak hours, waiting time could be 30-45 mins

Good street food

Cheese omelette is a must have
i have had omelettes at countless places but this one is special...one having omelette in hill stations is so much better and if it lovely then it is like icing on the cake....the winner here is the cheese omelette...fluffy and light ....the only downturn is that you may have to wait for 2-3 hrs sometimes to get your omelette (yes you are right 2-3 hours) but the wait is worth it...no one can break this queue unless you are a school student (which is a nice gesture in my view). they have got several awards including one from the then president also...it may sound bizarre but i can go to mussoorie just to have their omelettes..it is a very small shop and can only seat 4-5 persons inside..it is located conveniently on the mall near the ropeway....don't miss it if you are in mussoorie..

Upon hearing a lot about the place and reading numerous reviews, we visited the place.

Tucked in the lanes of Mussoorie's mall road, Lovely omlette center is easy to miss.

The place apparently has a long history of selling the best omlettes in the country. How could we miss it?!

We found our way and got ourselves seated. We were the only ones there.

The place is tiny and has only one table that can seat about 6-8 people.

They offer three options - oil, butter and cheese omlettes. We went with the cheese omlette.

They actually sell bread omlettes.

The cheese omlette comes with a couple of slices of cheese.

It was like just another omlette that you'd find anywhere else. It was nothing worth the hype.

Priced at 90 rupees, this one did not stand up to its reputation.

Clearly, the "best" omlette needs to pep up it's game.

Whoever called this one the best omlette was way too hungry or Mussoorie's magical weather cast a spell on them!

Service is quick.

Nothing to comment about ambiance.

Hygiene can be improved owing to the fact that it's on a hilly road and most vehicles were throwing out tonnes of smoke.

Overall rating:
Taste: 3/5
Service: 4/5
Ambiance: 3/5
Value for money: 3/5

For more awesome reviews and photos follow our food journey on
Instagram - www.instagram.com/thePunjabiHyderabadiDuo
Facebook - www.facebook.com/thePunjabiHyderabadiDuo

another example of an over hyped place. I don’t understand that why people are in love with butter than the actual taste of the food. There are many other places to have better omelettes and trust me the road sides are much better and pocket friendly

This is a very famous egg joint on the mall road. So to speak I have seen foreigner tourists searching for this place using a combination of Google navigation and local know how.
Go there for the cheese omelette. This is my must have whenever I visit the mall road.
Do try it once.

Visited with family recently, ordered plain masala omelette and cheese omelette, really it was so delicious. Perfectly made and great taste. All flavours were coming and amazing. Must visit when in Mussoorie. Advice: do order your omelette at once .
