Waffles and pancakes are the specialty of this spot. This is one of the dukans of “Char Dukan” and is pretty hip and happening part of Landour, Mussoorie. Strictly speaking from a taste perspective, the waffles could have crunchier and lighter. But the hospitality here is absolutely amazing.
The first of the Char Dukan's it was established in 1910. They serve great bun omelettes, egg sandwiches and ginger masala chai. their egg maggi is also great. Go early and enjoy hearty breakfast in lovely ambiance.
Gud in taste as well well managed
The place has its own charm. Its called a Tea Shop, but its much more than that. It offers Grilled Sandwiches, Pancakes, Fries & Cheesy Fries, Shakes, Waffles and much more. Its a local joint that has its own legacy and history. And when you sit there, you are able to feel that vibe. The owner of the shop is polite, welcoming and treats all customers as equal. I liked the Vegetable Cheese Grilled Sandwiches and Honey Ginger Lemon Tea. I liked the joint. And I would recommend tourist to unwind at this place when you visit Mussoorie. We ordered a Cold Coffee, Grilled Sandwich, Chocolate Eggless Pancake and Classic Fries. The bill was INR 630. Happy with the hoslitality and highly recommend it. #TravelDiary
When travelling to Lal tibba, its a type of mandatory to stop at Char Dukan area for tea and snack, tip top is one of the 4 shops, had ginger honey lemon tea,was good and refreshing.
Of the 4 or 5 side-by-side cafes in Char Dukan, I feel this is the friendliest one. It is the one on the extreme right towards St Paul’s Church. They serve the usual snacks, tea, soft drinks, omelettes, etc but what sets them apart in my opinion is the very affable and good-natured owner who will go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Would very much recommend.
Value for money. Ginger lemon honey tea is a must try.. its a good place for snacks after a a quick stroll around the area🙂🙂🙂 though its a small shop but the service is quite good
One of the four shops that line the iconic Chaat Dukaan market. The cafes are pretty sparse but serve tasty food that's perfect for snacking after a long walk in the hills!
One must try the mix pakoras (aloo pyaaz palak ke pakore with a delicious sprinkling of chaat masala), cheese maggi, waffles and honey-ginger-lemon tea.
The pancake we had was good..not too sweet just the right amount of sweetness and the chocolate on top added most of the flavour.
The cheesy french fries were average, they could have been better if the amount of cheese was more and in melted form but the fries were good and crispy and properly cooked.
Happened to visit Mussoorie last week and walked till char dukaan from mall road, amazing stroll in the evening.
It's an old place with only 4 shops, very quiet and clean.
Ordered Virgin Mojito, bun omelette and cheesy maggi.
One of the best and refreshing Mojito I ever had. Bun omelette with cheese was quite filling with light and light omelette. It was finger-licking and delicious. Cheese maggi was loaded with shredded cheese and fresh veggies.
Highly recommended place when in Mussoorie:)
Food with a view!
Nice little cafe in Lal Tibba which serves quick snacks.
We had ordered bun omelette, peri peri french fries and kullad tea. All of them were delicious and the service was quick too.
However the cost was too high (approx 400 INR) for the order but I guess it’s because of the location.
It’s best to reach on foot because getting vehicles here is too chaotic.
A small tea shop in chardukaan Landour. They serve tea coffee bun maska waffles pancakes. Pancake was nice but they charged 350 bucks for it. Quite expensive for a road side small tea shop. But the weather and the overall vibe was amazing 🤩💖

Great place to have a cup of tea and snacks. Parking is BIG issue and have to pay 200rs per hour. Reaching here was itself a challenge but worth it. Amazing vibes in this place.
The pancake we had was good..not too sweet just the right amount of sweetness and the chocolate on top added most of the flavour.
The cheesy french fries were average, they could have been better if the amount of cheese was more and in melted form but the fries were good and crispy and properly cooked.
The shop is small but better than the three other shops. The rates are obviously high but worth trying. Cheese veg Maggi and pan cake are must try
This is best place to have coffee and tea they also have more thing like fries , bun Omelette , Maggie and many more. All they have was very nice and delicious. The best thing about this place is this is at the top point ot the mussoorie. They nice serving staff and nice ambience. They also have a little in which you have little grocery things like chips and biscuits.
The food is great. I go to this place every time I'm in Landour. The only drawback is you can only imagine how crowded this place can be on weekends but I'd still visit. You might need to wait for some time to get a table, price is little on a higher side, maybe because too many actors have visited this cafe. They should increase the seating capacity. Otherwise its quick service and delicious food.
Beautiful place to wander and have some good tea 😀 pleasant tea shop owners.
Food was good and so was ambience. Howevè attitude of owner was too high and he was rude to another customer, not me. So rating 4 stars
One of the oldest cafe of Landaur. I saw about this shop on many YouTube videos. The food and view is worth the hype. Must try the pancake and hot chocolate.
