Its a hidden gem . Tucked in hotel padmini nivas on mall road , a royal interior and gujarati menu . Daal , kadhi , sabji , bhakri .. freshly made and excellent service . We tried thali which was wholesome .. shahi paneer was well made . There is little caravan radio which plays nice retro songs . Overall , if u are looking for a perfect meal , dont miss this place .

Have been visiting this place for a long time . They serve delicious, light food which is just like homemade food . They are famous for their Gujarati dishes. Methi thepla, bhakri and Puran poli are great!

I and my family enjoyed the gujarati khichdi, khadi and bhakri in their restaurant...it just tastes like home cooked food... Staff is courteous and the ambience is also good...I would definitely recommend to visit this beautiful place.

Lovely, old style restaurant inside the property of Hotel Padmini Niwas, Mussoorie. Good vegetarian food, including some local choices of rotis and dals etc. The staff are very courteous and professional. Sit and relax a quait meal overlooking the hills of Mussoorie!

The food and service of this restaurant is really good. We tried khichdi , bajra roti and matar paneer. Khichdi was served with green chutney, jaggery and achar and it was very comforting and tasty. Bajra roti was served hot and fresh and was very tasty and soft. Some items in the menu were unavailable but still overall a good experience

Nice restaurant in the hotel Padmini Niwas. Staff is courteous, services are fast and food is tasty. They have many types of Thalis. Being located in the hotel, not noticeable from Mall Road directly. One fact worth mentioning here us they don't have tandoor so don't expect Naan or Tandoori Rotis. But for home made chapatis it is best and preferred.
