Review Udupi The South Indian Cafe - Mussoorie

The best south Indian restaurant in MUSSOORIE... The filter coffee is just like the one you will find in Udupi ,Mangalore.. The menu is typical south indian.. The things that were missing were - BISIBALE BHAAT RASAM KESARI BHAAT GOBI MANCHURIAN MASALA PAPAD Had these things been a part of the menu,it would have been wonderful... Lovely ambience though.. The restaurant being below the road ,the beautiful garden of flowers isn't visible... A must visit for all south indian food lovers...

I'll surely recommend this place the vibe is genuinely great. we had masala dosa & idli here the taste was top notch. also the music & ambience was great here.

Highly Recommended!! Loved the fresh food, ambiance and location. The manager on duty was very gentle and humble. We have waited for around 10 minutes after ordering our food and trust me it was worth the waiting. Happy to be served on 25th and 26th of September 2020.

Food was good. Service a bit slow but overall good. ordered sambbar rice and uttapam, both were good

Had Rava Masala Dosa.. food was great.! Only issue was that they are not pet friendly.. even when its empty most of the time..

Great taste of Udipi special masala dosa. Specialized in South Indian food. Small place narrow sitting but taste of food is excellent. Special masala dosa in enriched with lots of dry fruits.

Onion prartha (Vegan) taste good, Onion Masala Dosa (Vegan) best in Mussoorie 😋

Our experience with Udupi cafe is awesome, food tasted good We had fried idli, masala dosa & chai Dosa was made with full crunch & it was absolutely delicious & crisp, idlies were very spongy. Chai was a kadak as it could be Loved the food Will come again soon

One of the worst experience eating south Indian food. Horrendous sambhar, soggy and stale dosa, Rasam tasted like liquid chili paste.<br/><br/>Taste negative ⭐⭐<br/>Service ⭐<br/><br/>

Ordered Masala dosa and Rava dosa with filter coffee. Decent food taste. Service takes some time. Good place to hang out in the evening and enjoy the weather. One of the less crowded places in Mall Road for sure.

Needs to improve on quality of service and food. Mussorie has various places to get good quality food but Udupi needs improvement. Staff is not courteous. Besides I ordered dosa, dahi vada, tea etc the taste of d food wasn't good.

By far the most pathetic restaurant you can visit in Mussorie !! This is not at all an authentic south Indian restaurant. Very poor service and completely tasteless.

For lunch we decided to give try to Udupi as we wanted some light south indian dish. I ordered one tomato rice and thali.<br/><br/>Tomato rice were good but was not served with any chutney. The veg thali was good and quantity was good for the price.

Best place to have great Dosas. Good service,value for money and ambiance.<br/>The location is very convinent and other with Indian dishes are equally good, the place is clean and higenic.<br/>Best South Indian food in mussoorie, it's a must try<br/>Highly recommended.<br/>

I recently visited this place it has delicious dosa served with sambar , coconut chutney and the teekhi chutney .<br/>Then we ordered a vegetable uttapam which was barely good since it had ginger in it but then sambar compensated it

A must visit place to taste the native style dishes of south india. Decent staff and good ambience. Best part is the location of the restaurant, right on the middle of mall road.

Nothing can be found here in whole of Mussoorie. Show a number. Stomach also got spoiled. Raw rotis should not be ashamed, but I have lost my health. When I have eaten stomachache please do not let anybody let me get too much trouble from night I take my stomach

3 sep 2018 veg biryani very taste less ....... butter scotch shake rs 100 but quantity 200 ml glass and taste less ...... my experiance .. very low quality

Very nice restaurant with good choices of freshly prepared food. We stopped at Udupi while roaming on Mall road and decided to have brunch over there. Our order was freshly prepared and served nicely. The taste of food was also good and ymmy. Service was very quick and rates were fine and similar to other restaurant at hill station.<br/>

The ambience is great and the music just adds to the experience. Food is tasty. The right place to relax after roaming on foot for long in mall street.<br/>

The best place to have South Indian food in the town. Authentic food served with best taste. It's centrally located and easily noticeable from the main road. It's a must visit if you plan to have South Indian food. Rava Masala Dosa and Idlis are the best.
