Review Tina's Cafe - Mysuru (Mysore)

Chiranjeevi K
A beautiful and cozy cafe settled up inside a home. Food is tasty and owners are very chill. They get along well. Ambience is creative and neat. Located in gokula main road and parking for 2 wheels is available but for 4 wheelers will be difficult and traffic peak hours since parking need to be done in road side. They serves veg and non veg food. Suggested for a group of friends and couples hangout. Pricing is reasonable. Ambience :4.5/5 Service :4/5 Food : 4/5 Location : 4.5/5 Pricing : 4.5/5

Tina's cafe was my all time favorite, when I was in Mysore. This cafe gives you a homely feel when away from home. They serve you amazingly good homely food at an affordable price. The cafe is run by a lady and an uncle, the couple is very friendly, uncle also used to play chess sometimes with us at the outdoor sitting of the cafe. The menu keeps changing everyday. Must have is their Chicken Biryani which usually finishes by the evening, you don't usually get it till dinner.
AMRIT NAIKDHURE
Found this classic food joint during my recent Mysuru trip. It does have home cooked taste and self service adds fun. Popular amongst health enthusiasts, students and locals.

Tina’s cafe has become one of my favourite restaurants which is found in the heart of VV Mohalla. They have a very cute and cozy old school ambiance. They serve tasty and hygienic food which is equivalent to the home made. This cafe/restaurant is run by passionate owner Mrs. Tina, she’s so friendly and caring. You can configure your own meal like mix and match. They have lot of books and reading stuffs, I’m sure people who love books will definitely love this place. Menu is very pocket friendly and affordable.

Tina's Cafes food will connect with your heart. The owners are very welcoming and really happy people. I had some Chole with dal rice and A second serving is all that I wanted. It reminded me of home, definitely my favorite place to eat! The simplest things are the greatest in Life. Thank you for cooking such good food :)

A beautiful cafe/restaurant along the road in Gokulam. Home made style food with decent pricing. It's a very nice place to chill in the evening with your friends with a beautiful ambience. I felt the taste of the food is not consistent and got a different feel twice when I had the same dish 😅. I liked their simple home made parathas. A perfect tea would have made me give 5 stars a disappointment both time when I had tea here. Cheers guys.!🍻🤟🏽

This is a self service cafe. We travelled from Palace to this place after getting info from the Google maps. It was about to close but they accomodated us. Service was good food above average. But the place is a very cosy and beautiful. As a small personal cafe. But you get all kinds of food including Rice, roti, biryani etc...

I always enjoy northern Indian food here. Cosy place but the price is reasonable.

Just wonderful,. Actually I had just got this place refering on Google maps, just tried and got the place. The lady here is too sweet and so friendly and also makes you feel at home. Food is homely and there is both veg and non veg. I went for a Khichdi, buttermilk panner paratha and veg Biryani. All were soo nice. Go for it. Amazing experience for sure. ☺️🙏🇮🇳

The cafe is a beautiful corner on the street. It has an open view. Its a great place to start off a day of touring the city. She served us tasty home cooked food at a pocket friendly price. There were games and so many books to look through! It's good for get togethers and some quiet couple time. It's self service but the host is very interactive.

One of the best places to eat home made healthy food. The environment is absolute bliss. I was so mesmerized with the soothing Buddhist music and the warmth. I would suggest every visitor to Mysore to take some time in their schedule and visit this place.

One of the best places I've had good North Indian food. The service is completely different style and it helps in keeping the costs low perhaps. Prices for the food are quite nominal and you have good options to pick and choose. They also keep sample dishes, in the counter where you place ur order, so you can actually see and decide what you want. Once you order, you go pick your seat and they will ring a bell/give a shout-out, once the food is ready. Lot of students, foreigners frequent this place for it's unique ambience, good soothing background music, wonderful food, and always helpful hosts. During my various visits, I've tried so far rotis, parathas, dal/rajma (40), lassi (50), butter milk (20) for LUNCH. And for EVENING SNACKS/DINNER do try dahi-wada (sweet and awesome) and pakoras (made and served hot hot, after you order. You get 5-6 diff varieties of pakoras for Rs 40. You might not find too many varieties on the Menu, like in other regular Hotels, but they have kept it simple and nice for you to choose few good North Indian dishes to fill your tummy. You get few Non-veg options too. The quantity of food is decent. Do try this place for it's uniqueness. Depending on the food you order it might take 15-20 mins, so give your order first and then find ur table to chill and relax in the soothing chinese music. You will definitely love this place with your friends around.

The chole was incredible😋😋😋The achar was perfect. One of the best experiences for Punjabi food. You will not regret visiting 🥰 the Puri was perfect as well.

A cafe managed by the ladies is the most appreciative part of this cafe. Home cooked food at a very reasonable price. Lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy your meals. Also they have a collection of books to read.
Gowri Kone
A decent cafe with the warmth of home-style cooked food, gives you the experience of your choice of comfort food.

Taste of home cooked North Indian food! Best in it's class! Loved the fact that it's run by generations! The Food: •Dal fry is very good and so are the parathas, soft as home cooked. •Best place if you are looking for a economical home cooked North Indian food ! •Check zomato, etc for menu; •sweets/desserts are not the speciality here, so, do not expect it's best! The place and Ambience: •The simple, basic yet striking interior designing goes along with the theme. And the open walls allows the cool natural breeze to hit you, and glad the roads are very less of traffic ! •Please also look for the had written note on the sofa dining table. Appreciate the wit if the owner for that ! Pts to Improve: •We would love if card payment is available, its only cash payment. Though, we thank the cashier/owner for taking Gpay when we were out of cash .

Perfect place to have homely food. Simple food with less oil. They have slight variations in menu daily. Neat and clean atmosphere with good music. Best thing is the prices are very cheap and affordable on a daily basis. Taste: 4/5 Ambience: 5/5 Cost: ₹₹

Tina's Cafe is a South gem for North Indian food lovers. With a delectable range of authentic dishes, it's a savory escape to the flavors of North India in the heart of the South. Must visit... 😊😊

Chicken biryani was very dry and Kabab was so roasted like charcoal and extremely salty in taste, overall food was very disappointing.
Meghana Rajeev
The lady at the counter is extremely disrespectful. She was extremely rude. Will never go there again. Zero hospitality.
Nithya Shree
Impolite aunty, worst experience ever, rude staff.. Taste was not great..lot more improvement needed on food quality and customer service!!

While we came for our annual trip to Mysore and was tired of eating hotel food and those special excusite places hence was tirelessly waiting for Ghar ka khana and then my husband's friend suggested us to visit this place .. and yes .. it made our trip complete .. thank u Tina aunty and such an amazing concept of Ghar ka khana when people look for this ..
Arabinda
A rating of 4 and priced very very reasonable made me choose this place to order food from during my Mysore stay for home delivery.
Received partial order and by the time I reached out to enquire the missing item the restaurant was already closed, owner offered us to choose from full refund or free dinner but none of us were happy with the delivered food but at that time of the day we were left with no other option other than managing and taking the issue to zomato which as usual got us a partial refund as per zomato policy.
Roti’s weren’t cooked properly and chicken Biriyani was like pulav.
LESON LEARNT: DON’T JUST CHOOSE LOOKING AT THE RATING.

Lovely folks running a lovely place. Do not expect anything fancy and food that is out of this world. Everytime I ate here, it was like eating at home.

You can eat food here again n again day in and day out and not worry about what is going into ur tummy. This is home made food but tastes better than home food 😉

I love this place. Mostly drop in for quick lunch. Ambience is artistic n music is always calming.
Hot homely food.
Parathas, phulkas are good. Aloo matar, dal, paneer go well with rotis.
Lassi, dahi vada are Oki Oki. Not heavy on the pocket .
I totally recommend it.

The place is like a cute cafe in the mountains. You can sit there for hours and feel like home. The food is decent - I had Veg Pakoras and Butter Milk. You should visit the place solely for the look and feel of it
Ajay Na
Since my college days best pocket friendly cafe to eat. Quality of the food is so good. It feels like home made. Cafe that has seen many generations.

Hey there vegetarians please be careful when ordering palak paneer in this restaurants because they serve meat in the name of paneer and I have been faced this meat curry served with palak paneer disgusting and careless cooks in there👎🤮😤
Sriraksha Nayak
I haven't really gone to the restuarant but we keep ordering food from this place.one the best place to order homely food.My all time favourite order is dal khichdi combo which includes papad and curd as well.Veg ball manchurian is also good but chicken kabab tastes really good.only point is starters quantity is really less when you order a half plate otherwise the food is really good.
Swarna
This is probably the only place in Mysore where you eat good food and go back with happy tummy and soul!
This is what home food tastes like.
The Dahi vada, which is served with cold dahi, and a swirl of imli chutney is a must try! Such a bliss!
And the amount of positive vibes that this place radiates!
A therapy place for home food sickness!
Deepti Choudhary
The place and food is really amazing. You get authentic North Indian food in reasonable price. The ambience is also great. The owners are not customer friendly and supportive
PREM PRATIK
Utter nonsense. No freshness in food delivered. Waste of money
Never go to this place. Their menu is disgrace and also food is waste. Nothing to say more
Shruthi Raju
Place is filled with foreigners everytime.
You get Indian basic foods like paratas, chole bhatura etc
Me and my husband love Thier cup cakes.
They r lovely.

After checking the rating, for the first time I ordered Chicken Biryani from Tina's Cafe!

Cost of Biryani - Rs. 165/-Delivery Charge - Rs. 10/-Packaging Charges - Rs. 10/
------
Pros:
------
Quantity: 10/10

Raitha Quantity: 10/10
------
Cons:
------
Rice Quality: 4/10- Ordinary Rice ( Not Basmati or Long grain )

Biryani Taste: 4/10 - Tastes and look like Chirtra Anna

Quantity of Chicken: 5/10 - 3 small pieces of chicken

Comparing to other Muslim restaurants, the Chicken Biryani from Tina's cafe is very ordinary. Tina's cafe might be popular or known for other dishes, but Chicken Biryani is a strict NO-NO.

I placed order for 2 chicken biryanis. Received only 1 packet of curry and 2 packets of raitha. When I paid FULL price for Chicken Biryani, I am entitled to get curry along with it.

Will I Order Again? You must be kidding!
Food Love
This place is one when i am too lazy to cook yet want a home cooked meal, different sabzis all the time and all very tasty ( not masaaledaar😁as you would generally find in restaurants), self service, lovely ambience right by the road, would definately recommend
DEV MALL
We went to Tina:s cafe today evening that's is on 15th January 2019 with my wife
.Ordered aloo paratha ,dal ,karela sabji and cold drinks. The food was really good and just like home food. We had four aloo parathas and the total bill was only RS 200/-. The girl at the counter was very polite and efficient. The place was very clean.I would love to go there again and try their non veg items. Today was Tuesday and so could not have non veg food.
Sonia Nagla
Everything was perfect of my order...👍 A star less just because the roti's ordered were neither having butter nor their was a mention of butter separately...

If you are in Mysore, away from your home and missing home food then, this is the right place to go. They have very limited food items in the menu but all of them were lip smacking. Let me also tell you this place is very pocket friendly. I loved their cozy ambiance.
What we had include everything because we almost ordered everything and it was so cheap as well.
Food we had there include
Aloo Capsicum, Yellow Dal,Raajma, Veg Manchurian Dry and Gravy, Dahi Wada, Boondi Raita, Papad, Chapatis. Also cold beverages. We loved everything here.
@tinascafe

I ordered paneer makhni, they accepted the order and later call me after 10 min that they don't have paneer makhni and can only deliver palak paneer. The delivered palak paneer have very bad quality looks like it's cooked in hurry. Worst experience and waste of money
Shristi
There is something about this place which would want you to come again and again. They serve very basic homely food. The vibe is cozy and looks good to the eyes. I have visited this place a lot of time and was always amazed how tasty those chapatis and sabzis were. The chicken biryani was just okayish, rest all of the items I have had were really nice. They are so light on your pocket as well.
Shivani
Good, tasty and delicious food. Gives the feeling of homemade food. Self service but it is still very good to visit and enjoy the food in a nice ambience.
The menu is limited but the food is really very yummy.

Lovely place to eat typically Punjabi Khaana! it tastes just like home food ! Nice ambience , warm owners, tasty food! What more does one want !
We tried the papad, boondi raita, Phulkas, rice , bhindi masala , mixed dal. Everything was excellent!
Will definitely come back for more !

Earlier used to like this place, ambience is pretty ok and its a self service kind of place. But last 2 visits were a disappointment, the quality of food has gone down a lot.

Ambience: 2/5
Food : 2/5

An awesome food option for north Indians.
Been in search of your home side food. This place is the answer . Very pocket friendly with friendly hosts and peaceful ambience.
Sakshi Goyal
Ambience is nice..
But the owner is extremely rude.. Like you see her take orders and your mood to eat gets ruined. We actually were thinking before ordering if we'd end up making her angry for that matter by ordering food.
The quanties are too small, we ordered a paneer makhan and it was just a really small bowl of it.
The lassi was also too thin and not at all good in taste. The worst and unreasonably priced Lassi I've had in years.
Vikas Soni
If you are really looking for home-food, this is the best choice. The food here is so tasty and ambience is so calm and happy. The egg burji, pakoda and all other curries are so perfectly cooked. Even the price is reasonable.
Service : 5/5
Ambience : 4.5/5
Taste: 4.5/5
I visited this place after looking at the reviews and thought this place to be one for North Indian food.
I ordered Chole(40) and Chicken Masala(80/half) and both dishes were pathetic, latter being much worse than the former. The quantity was also less for price let alone the taste.
I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone ever. If you are reading this review, look for the alternatives. You would wanna get as far away from the place as possible.
Mohammed Khan
Food is cheap but the taste is extremely bad.
We ordered for Rajma, Roti, Fruit Custard and Dahi vada.. Rajma was tasteless, Fruit Custard = Water+custard powder, worst custard ever tasted, Dahi Vada was horrible.. Went to this place after reading good reviews, came out very disappointing.. Cheap food should not be an excuse for tasteless food..
Jyotsna Menezes
Comforting and homey. The food is basic and pocket friendly. Tastes like home cooked meals. Tastefully decorated and welcoming. The owner is warm and inviting.
Sohani
The ambience is quite nice, it's pretty self service based so that cuts out waiting for the waiter. Their food is probably a 3/5 but the ginger is pretty bad since I love tea. It's more of ginger water.
Dibyorup Chatterjee
Super pocket friendly place ,
If you want to have north indian cuisine , Tina's cafe is a must try .
The food is very homely , no much oil not very spicy , it's good food one can have it regularly for long period of time .
The space is very homely again , very casual and calm , nice place to sit and have a casual talk .
The service is fast and warm . The person in the reception is a sweet man , may be he is the owner of Tina's cafe , he has a very warm gesture .
When in Tina's cafe one can make many new friends .
When broke Tina's cafe is a rescue , good food and not expensive at all .
Khansfoodtherapy
The ambience of the cafe is awesome and the food which they serve is as good as that of the owner of this cafe.... 😎😎
A very nice human being....Let's talk about food...
I ordered some paneer paratha, pudeena aalu to eat with it, roti and egg burji, cup cake, faluda and my favorite coffee ☕
All were delectable and tasty as heaven..... 😆 😅
And most of all budget friendly.....
The Hungry Nomads
Tina’s café is the most homely place to have a sumptuous lunch in Mysore that I’ve been to. The first thing that catches your eye as you enter is the beautiful ambiance with soothing music playing in the background. They were playing the very blissful “Mantra of Avalokiteshwara” when I was there. Nothing more needs to be said about the taste of the hosts. ;) Expectedly, the staff and the owners of the place are receptive and pleasant.

Coming to the food, the menu is very decent without any frills. I have ordered Phulkas and Egg Bhurji. The Phulkas were soft and freshly made, and the Egg bhurji was just perfect- just how it should be. The food is underpriced for the experience one gets there. One of the places in Mysore that definitely deserves multiple visits. Cheers!
Mahendra Kumar
Firstly high priced or quantity is very less for the price..
3 kabab piece for 80rs out of which one piece was just bone without meat.. Just a small plate of rice for 40rs which can be eaten within a minute..
Secondly very limited options..
Thirdly tea was just horrible.. Looks like there was no milk at all.. It was like drinking tea powder with water..
Fourthly self service.. After paying so much price for the food u have to do this too.. Most irritating part is if u want something in middle u have to leave the table and go to the counter n ask for it.. And u have to go again to pick it up.. 😂😂..
Fifthly the price quoting on zomato is not right.. The actual prices r hiked pls change it..
I left without any satisfaction..
Never gonna visit this place in my life again..
My 190 rs and time wasted.. 😊🙂..
Nathan
I walked into this accidentally and it was a good food experience. It is a self-service cafe or more like a meal joint. Simple and short menu makes ordering easy. Mostly North Indian cuisine with few options available from other cuisines as well. The Egg Burji is recommended. I hope they can add more tables and serve faster.
Siddharth
We use to turn up to this place when short on cash.
The food you get is what you pay for nothing fancy.
The ambience is bloody cute it makes up for somewhat average food.
Anushka Rele
Lovely food ..just one complain to Uncle and Aunty who own this place ..you could be as friendly to Indians as well ..one mark reduced for your colonial mindset :)
Harshinitrendz
A sweet little place to hang out with friends and family. Food was really good and served hot, which was great.
I couldn't take pics as I was hungry and food looked delicious.
My rating is 4, coz for the pricing, maybe a little cut down would be nice.
Anshul Goel
Very homely food. The owners are sweet & caring. Its been my go-to-place to eat for more than 2 years. The restaurant is a blessing for a North Indian like me who cannot go without rotis or curry and finding such food in Mysore is very difficult. God bless them and shower lots of blessings and success.

Give you the home feeling.

Hits:
1. Hygienic tasty food. No added colour in many of their dishes.
2. Decent ambiance. Homely feels.
3. Chicken biriyani, aloo paratas, egg curry, kabab, brown rice, rice dal and fruit custard are the dishes which I've had here and it's really good.
4. Pricing is a bit low. Tasty homly food for less price this is the perfect place.
Priyanka Rawat
Tina's Cafe, plus the owner gives me a homely vibe.
I just love going to this place for dinner. Simple and delicious food is what they serve in a very pocket friendly rates.
When I say pocket friendly, I really mean it.
Loved egg bhurji, daal makhni and paraantha there.
But... You need to do the self service, just as you do at your home :)
Vinay Kuperkar
Not good experience for me, the uncle who handles is like he is in a kind of some frustrations, so sometimes he is rude. Food is ok, I went there twice both times I didn’t liked the behaviour of the uncle...
Jeetu Sitani
Very tasty food ...
And aunty is very good....
And best in the area for north indian food...
Parathas. Rajma. Raita. And pakoda ..
Evrything is tastilicious

Thankyou aunty
😘
Sanal Kumar Renou
Very good place when ur missing home food.....a very pleasant ambience with very good atmosphere.....food is also fine..... Try veg items here as non veg is not that good...but veg is fine.....
Dinesh Pasupathy
A small place which offers very good food. Have tried various veg side dishes with chapati. Veg Kofta, baingan Bartha, aloo ghobi. They all have authentic North Indian taste. The rice with dal is also a good option to go for. They offer simple and homely foof at affordable price. Can go for it on a regular basis. The ambience is also very good and the background music is very pleasant.
The only con being they don't have wallet payment which can be included to make it a perfect place.
Pou Lin Chang
The chapthi wasn't fresh. It felt like it was made 2 days back. Also the egg burji I ordered was served cold. I advise to heat the food at least before serving
Ashish Shah
Landed here for lunch. Was my second time . Loved the food, amazing decor, quiet , Homely feel, It's self service. I am a pure vegetarian and they have a lot of options on the menu ! Overall I will surely visit them again !!
Anish Khare
An amazing place. Hygienic, home made food and descent in taste. The food is quite healthy and you can blindly trust them. Rates are fair and the place is very cheap. You can have 4 rotis and a gravy sabzi within Rs60 and come out satisfied. Cafe is a sweet and small place with a really sensitive ambience. The owners have a good taste when it comes to decoration and interiors. The cafe is run by really nice couple who are passionate and caring. It's a place to relax and enjoy homely food for all those living away from their home.
Mohammed Manaal

It's a pleasant and small place on the main road. the food is so homely and tasty . we ordered pakoda , manchurian balls , egg bhurji and parathas.. they were very tasty. the ambiance is on the okayish side .it's self service and important it's closed on Sundays.

Food 4.5/5
ambiance 4/5
service 4
A great place with some great food choices the place has a great ambience and worth going to the place for the food and it is pocket friendly as well
Rejani
This is the place to go if you crave for "maa ka hath ka khana". This adorable quiant cafe in Mysore is a life saviour for bachelors ,lazy people and foodies. You can have the homely food in a comfy place with soothing music in the background. Personal favorites are aloo paratha, bhoondi raitha ,butter milk and lime juice!!
Naveen Narayan
College Students and people who enjoy a value for their meal. (Not entirely, but only if you strategise your order)

In my time in Mysore my friends and I used to go here to get a way from the local food and have a North Indian flip for a change. There are plenty of things to choose from actually and the ambience doesn't feel suffocating.

Pro.
Chappatis/Rotis are probably the best thing about this place. For Rs 5 a piece and soft and homely as hell this might be the reason for you to come back to this place. Raita is nice. And so are the Parathas but they really don't give any sides with them, maybe a ketchup sachet.

Con.
The quantity for curries here is very disappointing really, but some how we ration the supply they provide us with. Chicken Dishes are more of a rip off here so I'd rather stick to Vegetarian food.
Saguna Kaul
This is one of my favorite places when i crave ‘ghar ka khaana’
Its the perfect place to get your simple north indian food at pocket friendly prices. My personal favorite:
Chicken curry(4/5)
Chicken biryani(4/5)
Dahi vada(5/5)
Lassi (4/5)
Methi paratha(4/5)
I love the vibe of this cafe and the people around! you’ll never feel guilty after eating here, just nostalgic!
Vinay Kumar Shiva Kumar
Self service in this Cafe. Shortage of staff is the reason for it. Cashier, Supplier and Cleaner only one person does it and is very rude.
Whatever you have here is below ordinary. Hope they shut it soon.
Minu
Tina's cafe is for those people who are craving for homely food. One day I was also in such mood. Didn't wanted to go out to spend so much , (as I was tight with the budget..Life of a student..!!) I headed to Tina's cafe suggested by my friend.
Food- 7/10
You get limited menu in here. But all are tasty n as I said homely. Do try their egg masala, rajama chawal, biryani (its avg but good.) They have very nice paratha's, so go give it a try.
Ambience- 6/10
its a quite place. Not much of interior which makes it homely too.. good place to hangout and eat.
They also serve good lemon soda, ginger lemon tea.
Deeksha U Chandra
I loved the ambience
They say when you miss Mom made food go to Tina’s cafe
I loved the paranthas and biriyani
Sweet lassi is amazing
It’s a must visit place In Gokulam
I must say that owners are true gem
Clopas Rodrigues
Home styled North Indian food for all those who miss it. The ambience is laid back, a slight casual look thrown in. It's a self service place and is normally full in the evenings. Try the chapatis, they are good. The non veg dishes are also tasty.
DK
Below is the review for this hyped junk shed.
1.You find an Arrogant owner at the counter, serving stale food for dinner cooked at noon.
2. Its a MUST for them to learn making a Lassi.
3. If they called themselves a restaurant, they are wrong. It is a Garage with no Hygiene.
4. You ll find few Hippies hanging around ,and i believe this makes the owner feel great and lookdown at others.
5. When the whiterice served cold, and we addressed he uses his bare hands to check ,again offers same rice from oven heated.
6. Totally this place SUCKS..
Mayank Mantry
If want to taste home cooked food that too by spending less money...this place is a must visit..The food taste is very nice and healthy..With a nice ambiance.

You can eat here on daily basis.
Food is good, very reasonably priced.
Ambience is good.
I used to work near this place and used to eat regularly , but never got bored.

Only thing I didn't like here is non veg. Veg food is really great here. Totally value for money.
Aditya Gupta
I hope i had an option of giving 6 out of 10.

It's a paradise for all those who miss home made food.
Wheat Flour Chappati.. first attraction for me and that too at a cost of Rs 5.
Dahi Vada.. it's simply amazing.
Lassi.. Must have it.
Cost.. 150 for two..
Anurag Chaudhuri
A sweet small cafe run by a very sweet guy.
Loved the person.
The food was good too in the price
Quantity is for 2 people and its home made, like really
Had methi paratha, roti with ghee, gobi ki sabji, peeli daal and the awesome egg bhurji
Dont go for biryani, wasn't too good.
The dai vada was great too.
And the best thing is,they showcase the food for you,so you know what you want. You won't be disappointed by the small cafe as its a big package.

Delicious, tasteful Indian food and staff/owner is very friendly. Ordered brown rice with a couple vegetarian dishes, food was prepared really quickly. Will definitely come back again.

One of the sweet places in Mysore where you get food which is next to home cooked food. So whenever I crave for home cooked food I visit them.
The paranthas are tasty and I loved the egg burji. The menu keeps on rotating. Tina Aunty & uncle are always a delight to speak to. I still remember the first time I visited the place & asked for bottled water, Uncle told me that the water they serve is also filtered so what is the need for college students like us to waste money.

P.S.- It is a self service restaurant ☺️
A must visit if you miss home & want home like food.
Cheers!

Nice ambience and background music with homely food. Best place to stop by and have a chat with the local couple(Tina aunty and Uncle) on way to Coorg from Bangalore!

About the kindest thing I can say about this joint is that the food was... edible. The place smelt dank, like a wet dog. Service was indifferent. The straight-out-of-Ladakh ambience with Tibetan prayer flags, though hackneyed, is still a departure from the usual restaurant decor around here, which is good. Sadly, the effect was ruined by a television that loudly blared some Hindi daytime soap, for the viewing pleasure of what appeared to be the owner. On the whole, avoidable. Entirely avoidable.

Whenever I miss home cooked food, this is the place where I head to! I love the parathas, bhindi masala here. Tina aunty is a really sweet lady and both uncle and aunty are so fun to talk to! I love the ambience. They don't have a fixed menu, they change it everyday and the particular day's menu is always kept on display. It's a nice feel good place with good food and friendly crowd. It's a place where you can actually make new friends too!

Ambience- good
Quantity- good
Self service
Paneer parantha and Aloo parantha with boondi raita- it was great, raita had little sweet tinge and was a good combination with parantha.
Veg biryani- spicy and gives you home touch.
Dahi vada- must try
Fruit custard- not the regular fruit custard which has too much milk, it has gelatin added to it giving it a nice texture and taste.
Lassi- was not satisfied as it was too diluted.
Before you red this konw that this place is run by an elderly Punjabi couple. The ambience is okish. They have everyday-new-menu. The food cannot be called "Ghar Ka" however it is not bad. It is not that you will visit the place just for the taste you had last time. The food is priced at market rates, no surprises there! In conclusion, visit the place if you want to have simple food at decent prices.

A nice place to enjoy some homely cooked north Indian food. Come here if you want to eat food and do not expect to be treated royally. The number of items in the menu is limited but they serve good quality food. Wait time is approximately 10 mins and the food is served in "Self Service" mode. Stomach friendly food with pocket friendly price. The ambience is quite simple and good, you may struggle for parking.

I was sitting near the washroom. Some housefly or some kind of insect kept flying. Egg biryani was not good. Lassi was good. Ambience is good but when I was there no one was there.

Closest to home style food you can get around this area. Have my lunch here often. Affordable and quick service. Ambience is good. They swap some items in the menu sometimes. Overall if you can't cook your own food, and have your food from outside most of the time and you are on a budget, this is the place to eat regularly from :)
