The owner-host-staff-cleaners all have a cheerful happy smile & will treat you as if they have known you all their life. The place is neat, & clean. Well maintained by Sh. Chandrashekhar owner & his son who are both knowledgeable & committed to give you the best food at the best price in a homely environment. Do give it a shot. It opens early morning at 0700 & closes by 1600. So expect only breakfast, lunch. Wishing them all the best

I was on my way to Coorg and was travelling on the new Bangalore-Mysore express way . All the breakfast restaurants now became not-reachable from the expressway. There are very few restaurants which are reachable and those are extremely crowded. I therefore was searching for a restaurant on the Mysore ring road and found this authentic Karnataka breakfast restaurant- Annapoorna Aahar. Its in the Hebbal region on outskirts of Mysore. People travelling from Bangalore to Mysore taking the expressway should come here and have breakfast. It has all the regular breakfast items like dosa, idli, sambar, vada, etc. When I went there they had piping hot holiges. Tea and coffee is also served. The place has a handwash area and a separate washroom area for men and women. You can park your car on the adjacent road.

We tried the habbada oota the two times i was there. The food here is authentic and exactly how is would be when we cook food at home for special festivities. Good always arrives fresh and hot from the kitchen. Obbattu is literally straight of the pan. I realished the food here and honestly couldn't get enough of it. Highly recommend this place for home style food at reasonable prices and a hygienic setting. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a traditional festival meal!!

Located in the midst of Industrial area, certainly provides a great option for business lunch but is also a known place amongst tourists that it serves purely authentic style food on a Banana leaf.

Place looks so simple.. but the food was good.. Service too was good.. We opted for Habada oota. They serve hot pooris, akki rotti, holige.. A good option to consider for lunch.. Have not yet tried breakfast here..

I honestly cannot stress the fact that this has to be one of the best hotels I have visited in Mysore. The food was next level delicious, the poori especially was very crunchy, and the hotel overall gave a very homely feeling. The aunties over there treat you like their own and keep serving you fresh. Highly recommend!

After getting off the b'lore Mysore expressway, we were in search of a South Indian vegetarian restaurant. We found Annapoorna Aahar, we went to the same place for both breakfast and lunch. We had an extremely pleasant experience. Latha hosted us with a smile, food has an home made taste. Highly recommended!

Not a lot of places in mysore that serve, udupi cuisine that lives upto the name! This place is a gem! They serve simple soul food done right! The plantain leaf meal, the variety and the authenticity Is on point, one of its kind in the industrial area, definitely one of its kind in Mysore! Those who love Mangalore bajji, amongst other things , you wouldnt be disappointed! It's really that good.
Staff is smiling too, serves with dedication.
A must visit for a hearty after office meal, or a great tummy filling lunch.

Food 3.5/5 Ambience 2.5/5 Service 3/5
A snack restaurant in the industrial area, this place offers a decent variety of South Indian savouries. The food is good, try the Mangalore bhajji if available. Mosquitoes are a nuisance in the evening. Prices are quite economical.

Annapoorna Aahar is a restaurant in middle of an Industrial Area.

Its visited by office goers and is best for the full meals.

This restaurant is in the category of restaurants, that have an a-la-carte menu just for the sake of showing a variety on the menu.

I went out with office friends one afternoon for a lunch and we took the safe call of ordering full meals. We were served with 2 vegetables, a kosambari salad, broken wheat porridge, chapatis, rice, sambar, rasam, curd, butter milk and sweet at the end. The taste overall was average to good. The service was prompt and we had our tummies full.

The prices are reasonable for the food they serve.

Overall, a good place for occasional group lunches...

Came here with my friends after a long day at office, ate shavige bath and set dosa completed the meal with a filter coffee. Shavige bath was a Lil spicy but the rainy weather made it perfect.

Every time I go there, they say they don't have this or that, you'll get deceived by the look of the hotel, it's good but the food here is definitely not great. Got a feeling they won't have anything ready and they take a lot of time to prepare and serve. Not recommended

Pluses:

1. Simple Menu: I have been to their place during lunch. They have South India meals, Chapati sabji, Rice variety , few juices and accompaniments. They have kept it very basic to concentrate on quality

2. Food : I have tried the South indian thali (on plantain leaf) . Chapati/poor, 2 bhajis, chutney, curd, 1 sweet, salad, sambar, rasam. Simple basic yet very tasty and satisfying. You ย don't get a bloated stomach like you would after eating other thalis. They also serve breakfast, which i heard is good too

3. Service: Pleasing , helpful. Open to suggestions. The owner himself walks around to see if everything is alright.

4. Value for Money: at Rs 85 for a thali, its worth every penny

5. Ambience: high tiled sloping roof, airy. Kitchen is extremely clean.

6. Parking and Location: ample parking space, easy to locate as it is close to the ring road.

Minuses:

1. More variety in the menu: wish they include something more in the menu for lunch or dinner. Something that is unique and not found in other places of this kind.

Final Verdict: worth visiting for a satisfying simple meal.

Food: 4/5
Menu: 3.5/5
Location: 3.5/5
Service: 5/5
Value for money: 4/5
Parking: 4/5

Located near the ring road, we came to this place when traveling to visit friends who work in Infosys. It was recommended by a friend for having an authentic lunch meal on plantain leaves but we decided to go for breakfast.

The service was prompt and our order were taken with a smile. It's completely different from the Darshini hotels we see in bangalore. It's clean and table service is such a boon on a lazy Saturday@ morning. Few interesting photos adorned the walls.

We ordered the best breakfast combo, idli vada sambar and filter coffee. The food was so good. Highly recommended for travelers from bangalore to mysore and madikeri.

P. S- I regret not taking the photos beforehand but the pic shows that the food will make you wipe your plate clean.

OMG!!!! It was the worst experience one could have.ย
No Positives at all, may be, there are only flies to give you company.
All Negatives. When asked for a menu, he said, there is "NO Menu ". Ordered Alu paratha, and was given something resembling papad sandwich, and alu in between, and the dish was SHOUTING....... SALT.
Please do not go there and waste your time.
