Review Cafe Biryani - Mysuru (Mysore)

A very different and uniquely tasting Vegetarian Biryani (with a nice flavour) It's not cooked in Dum Style so you won't find the masala overwhelming like Hyderabad Dum Biryanis, nor will it be loaded with vegetables. It's a much simpler Biryani but definitely much flavourful than just Pulav. The veg gravy served with veg biryani is delicious! Chilly Gobi is a good side dish to try too.

Food was good. We tried mutton biryani, pepper chicken, paneer Manchurian and veg biryani out of which veg biryani was not that great. Mutton biryani was good. Service was good. Place is decent enough.

Tried mutton biryani and Mutton pepper dry, mutton biryani was awesome and mutton pepper dry was really good. And masala Pepsi was just great 😋😋

Their Biryani is of decent taste . Extra star for their chicken lollipop and fish kabab. These 2 are worth a try. Rotis here are good too

Great place to have delicious Mysore style Biryani. The Tandoor and starters are definitely worth trying. Nice ambience for Family on the first floor. Needs improvement with Staff Friendliness.

First I went into the main restaurant, it was full, no fun, then I remembered there was adjacent new sitting area neatly setup, I sat there, then the staff suggested 1st floor, I went up to 1st floor, lo behold, this was the right ambience, right atmosphere for my family to have a memorable dine in. Chicken Biriyani was served hot and tasted Good, chicken 65 was alright, a dinner for 2 people will cost you around 700/-. Give it a shot, it's Good

The food taste 😋 is very good. Except for the fact that biryani and a few other dishes have a lot of oil in them. Must try restaurant. Avoid sitting in the ground floor area as it is not well maintained. There were coackroach under the table and running around. The dining area on the first floor is well maintained. Serive is very quick. Just try not to go in a rush.

Came to Mysore for a short family vacation , Apparently we found out this shop , and had lunch there . Food is absolutely yummy! Also their services should be appreciated. Good bunch of staffs . Overall great experience 😃👍 Happy ❤️

Thr biriyani is too gud...won't recommend any vegetarian food here as i alwys bad experience here..but the pepper n chilly chicken is must with biriyani or biriyani rice here

Pathetic restaurant. Had ordered mutton biryani. Received little rice with 2 tiny mutton pieces. Horrible taste. will never dare to order again. Moreover full of fake reviews as nothing tastes good here. Once I took parcel nd I was given stale kalmi kabab. Yuck

My all time favourite from this hotel is chicken biriyani, andhra chilli chicken, chicken 65 and chilli baby corn. No change in taste since years. They are maintaining the quality of the ingredients even though there would have been a hike in all input gradients. Can blindly trust this hotel for their quality. KEEP IT UP. <br/>

Normally I don't write reviews but the meal compelled me to. The quality and quantity of the meal was par excellence. The delivery was on time and was very neatly packed. Overall it was a very satisfying meal and above all it was underpriced.

Been to this place thrice by now, my first 2 visits were very average and it’s a average small biriyani place...by now u should get a idea...n now they have renovated and it looks way better than before ..lil breezy and a lil more clean. Infact my first 2 visit, I hated the sticky table n this time it was better...a place getting better. Biriyani is average and it’s fine. Price is reasonable.can try once.

This is the second time I have had bad experience with KBC.<br/>First of all, this place is over priced and the portions are less. Definitely not worth the money.<br/>I ordered Chicken Masala and the meat was not cooked properly, I brought this matter to the attention of the waiter and the manager but it was of no use. In Egg fried rice, the rice was not completely cooked and I had instructed the waiter to go easy on oil but it went to deaf ears.<br/><br/>

I highly recommend this restaurant. Food quality is awesome. In my opinion, KBC is one of the best place for biryani in Mysore. Price of food is moderate.🍱

What a place man, the chicken biryani is too good and rest of them are okay okay but i love the pepper boneless chicken here.<br/>And am sure they won't prepare mutton biryani here, always when asked for it they say its over!😂, even when you go early

I ordered a chicken biryani and chicken pepper dry... The biriyani was very dry but taste was ok... The chicken was very hard and rubbery in both biriyani and pepper dry and was very difficult to chew... They must improve the quality of their meat and live up to their name.

Full marks for taste, quantity and quality of food. Even the packing was so customer centric! Yummy kebab and Biryani combo. We loved the care with which the food was packed. Very south Indian taste. Delicious and sumptuous. Can improve by adding a little less salt. As instructed they had not put colour to the food. The quantity of the food was more. One item can serve around 3 people.

I havr visited this place quite a lot of times with my friends. The food here is really very tasty, be it biryani or starters, this place serves good food. The place is big but most of the time crowded though.

The quintessential 'Biryani' place as is evident in the name - Kafe Biryani Corner. I have dined in for lunch/dinner a couple of times and as long as you stick to dishes that you are comfortable with, this place will not let you down. If you are not sure what to try - please ask the steward or the captain.  <br/><br/>I usually stick to a portion of boneless chicken tikka for starter, a non-vegetarian gravy with Roti and polish that off with a serving of Biryani Rice split across two adults. The above portions should suffice 2 adults. I have seen people over order and struggle to finish portions, again as I said if you are in doubt about the dish or the serving size - please ask. The ambience is quite bland, but that disappointment turns into a happy excitement because this place essentially makes it up with the quality of service and the food itself. This place is crowded on weekends so if you plan to dine in on a weekend, please be patient as the wait times to get a table might be a little crazy. <br/><br/>Highly recommended for non vegetarian food and for Biryani Lovers. Have been going to this place for nearly 15 years now. Great biriyani and Pepper Chicken. The Andhra Chilli Chicken is real good too. They have experimented with some of the menu over the years. But the classics remain their best offering.

I have been having food here from my childhood he is maintaining the same taste and flavour for food infact improved and recently ordered through Zomato and the quality of packing, taste everything is good, please maintain it for long run don't be greedy like others i hope you won't do such things best of luck.

The place is good but the quantity of food they provide is mediocre and not worth the money .Also the dining area is best suited for family parties etc. It's not really the place you want spend your weekend with .<br/>The ambience could be improved a lot . Offlate a regular customer thanks to Zomato. Decent quality, consistent taste and the renovation done to place a few months back definitely adds to the likeability. Rotis, Egg Masala, Panner or a Chicken starter are safe bets.
