A good place to fill your appetite for Chinese food. Qty is humongous to say the least. Must try are the dragon chicken, Thukpa, Malaysian noodles, and cream of mushroom soup. The Momos, are however horrible!

The only Chinese restaurant in Mysore. Best food. The Hong Kong fried rice made me feel like I'm somewhere in China. Soups are of different flavour & I must recommend to try especially Hakka variates here.

Really awesome place. The momos are quite juicy and delicious. Chicken 65 is ok and the noodles too. Reasonable price. Best place in mysore for some Chinese delights.
The food here is average.....I had noodles,chicken items....but I only liked the chicken Mongolian....rest are pretty much average..........but the food presentation is very good.

It's a good Chinese restaurant. I like it. Low oil. Low aginomoto. Nice service. The ambience is pretty good. No parking issue. Servers are polite. Also the price is pretty reasonable. So in all a good place to visit.
Absolutely love the food here. The momos here are so juicy it makes my mouth water every time I talk about it. The ambience here is pretty good as well, a perfect place for Chinese food with family and friends. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone living in Mysore. This place is close to narisimar temple.Maybe a 10 minutes walk from there.

Hakka has a very traditional Chinese restaurant vibe to it . The place serves decent quality Chinese food. I frequent this place for Thukpa which I absolutely love here. Also the staff is kind enough to add a few extra spices and condiments as per ur requirement. The service is a little slow and the waiters don't pay attention to you, but are very courteous and respectful when they do respond thus the 3.5 rating. The menu is good and extensive and is value for money. Do try nasigoren ,wantons and lamb here.

Service was good because they realised I had written this review. The service now is similar to as it was. They don't serve as you guide them and disappointed they did not keep up to the good level of service they are capable of at least when the restaurant had only 3 tables filled including me.
Try the Thai curries. .. People r nice .. Ok ambience ... Comfort food .....

Again a better destination for Chinese and Thai cuisine lovers. It's a great destination hidden inside in an lonely Street. For ambience, U can check out my pics. I tried manchow soup and Chicken wings in starter. It was really delicious. In main course, it was Thai noodles and pan fried momos. It's a must try joint for Chinese food.
Triple schezwan rice is awesome here,I started with it because the authentic taste floored me and the quantity is soo much,three people can easily finish it.The Chinese fried chicken was extra fried.Manchow soup was yum too.If we talk about the ambience,it's pleasantly cozy.The red theme looks really warm and service is good too.
Hakka gives me a cozy romantic mood when I enter the premises. It has faint red lights everywhere which uplifts the mood.
The ambience is pretty decent for a restaurant and tables come equipped with table cloths which keep everything neat and clean. There are small corners of the globe where cracks and crevices can be noticed. But nothing horrible.
Food was excellent and service staff were okay. Although the food arrived late and I had just ordered starters. I expected faster plate on the table service.

One of the best places to have chinese in mysore. Having lived in China for 5 years, I find most of their dishes authentic and tasty. The service is great too! Malaysian chicken noodles, hot schezwan prawn, honey chilli potato and fried chicken momos are my personal favourites there! Must try!
I often am not happy with the food I've ordered in a restaurant, but I have to say that the tofu in black bean sauce that I ordered here was OUTSTANDING. I have eaten it in Bombay and in Delhi, but this little place in Mysore far outshone anywhere else I've eaten it. These guys really know what they're doing.
A small, decent joint that serves excellent Oriental dishes. They've improved a lot since their KD road days. Exceptional dishes were the Thai fried rice and Shezwan noodles. Also portions in both starters as well as the main course are huge, good quality and great value. Order for 2 ppl and 3 can have it compared to other restaurants.
They have two sections where u can eat..I prefer the upper section. It has a slightly better ambience than the lower one..
The menu is the same as Nanking's..
I have had the dragon roll,stuffed mushroom schezwan style,chilly prawns and momos..
I did not like the dragon roll..the other mushroom and prawns were good but the momos are oily and the coating is thick..but the accompaniment is tasty.
Amazing Chinese food, great portions so you can easily share with friends without ordering too many dishes and good service. It's like a little part of China in the heart if Mysore :)

Visited Hakka on 11th June 2016 for lunch. After exploring Mysore decided to hopp in. Ambience is nice.Food is good. We Ordering some wanton soup with Hunan chilli chicken .The main course included chicken fried rice and chicken in oyster sauce. All of the food items were very tasty and is a must try. Will visit soon.

Looking for Authentic taste and Authentic food, you surely have to visit this place. Simply blew my mind when I first visited this restaurant at Vijayanagar. From prawn to chicken to lamb to fish. Everything blew me away, as everything tastes different and complimented each other.
The mildness of the food and the consistency simply amazes you.
Being a Mysore guy I loved this place than any other place in Bangalore and Mysore.
It will surely not disappoint you.

Crazy to say. Went to mysore as I had heard alot about the Brindaban and its Garden. Decided to grab a quick lunch on the way. Headed to this restaurant an ordered Hunan fry Wanton soup and Chicken Clear soup and I didn't want to take chances with my trip.
The smell simply made me crave for starters and main course as well.. The soup was impeccable and its structure was authentic. Started with Dragon Prawns and Fish Nanrik Poo and Fried rice with chicken and Cha Chowmin. Trust me was feeling scared how it might turn up, but blindly trusted my counciousness nd trust me it excelled my expectation. loved everything about it and the ambiance as well.. Cozy and great place to enjoy good food...

Well this was my third visit to Mysore and always had a struggle finding a decent good restaurant which served mostly Asian cuisine as I prefer , fortunately this third visit introduced me to this Hakka restaurant. They had an a la carte menu that gave various options so I chose three dishes that included Chinese chicken roast, kan Sao green beans with chicken fried rice and i loved the roast they had prepared and it really complimented with the other two. This place would be a must step in for my next visit to Mysore again.
OK.. So went to this place at Mysore on my way for a trip there.. Was craving for Chi see so went to a place called Hakka Restaurant.
Started with chicken Peking Spicy Soup and Wanton Soup. Excellent taste and structure and it's aroma.
Was very hungry so ordered, Pan Fried Noodle and their signature Tao Special Fried Rice, with a side of Chinese roast chicken and Prawn in lobster Sauce. The portioning is great and the taste is mind blowing.
Made sure we finish the the plate and just had a small room for Ice Cream which Compliments all the flavour and soothens your taste bud and clenses as well.
Love visiting this place and would recommend all to try once.

Yes hakka truly serves lip-smacking chinese food. Its a small place with decent ambience.
But they cater different asian cuisine like japanese, srilankan, chinese.
There portion is quite huge with decent price rating.
Had tried schezwan soup, a vietnamese wrap, wonton fried in garlic sause.
Everything was just yummy.
Would surely recommend to visit.
Awesome momos at this place! Any dish is huge, with large portions, so remember that while ordering here. There is a noodle based dessert that is definitely worth a try.
Lovely place for tourists who are sick of south indian dosas n idlis. Gr8 service n beautiful dishes. Just a bite of their wontons reminds one of the streets of china and their fried rice just cleans ur tongue n refreshes ur brain which is tired of spicy rasam n sour sambar in udipi restaurants. Even their staff always smiling n interacting frequently . Telling us about their beautiful garnish stuff etc... On the other side it is located in a small lane so finding it is quite difficult . Overall 101 % sasta n sundar combo : )

I was only there for 2 nights at Mysore. Sick of South Indian food on this trip, we were looking for a Chinese or Mediterranean place. My mom chanced upon Hakka on TripAdvisor and all of us agreed to try it out.
It's not an easy place to find because its tucked away, inside a narrow lane. We couldn't find it for a good 10 minutes after reaching the area so we called them up. The manager was so sweet on the phone, he sent someone to pick us up from the main road.
The restaurant doesn't look like much, it has a very homely feeling, but the food was amazing!!
Their portions are quite big and their service, presentation, staff & everything was awesome.
We tried the chicken momos, fried wantons and honey chilli potato for starters. Also, we called for the sweet corn chicken soup.
All the starters were delicious and the presentation of all of them was so sophisticated.
For main course we called for their Tao Special Fried Rice in chicken and veg, and a veg gravy. They were also very very tasty!
We loved the food so much that we went back for lunch the next day before leaving for Bangalore. They remembered us and even gave us complimentary ice creams after lunch!
I'd recommend Hakka to anyone who's at Mysore. For the price, the amount of food is superb!
I'd probably go back to Mysore just to eat at Hakka.
Go to the terrace. Order honey chicken, kai chi Singapore, and nasi goreng and enjoy the ambience, the food and the time with company. Doesn't get better than that.

The courteous, passionate and warm staff absolutely knows what they are doing and take the restaurant in a leauge of it's own.
Do not get misled by the rustic surrounding or the humble interiors, the food they serve will make you think twice before visiting any fine-dine Chinese (Indonesian or Thai) restaurant .

One little hotel far from city and they serve best momos.. Try both the momos fried and steamed you will enjoy the taste.. I gave 4 starts Bcz of the taste not for the place, they can improve the interior where every kind of group can enjoy from singles to couples.. But food wise it's really good.. Had noodles, momos, rice items.. There is much quantity 2 people can eat one noodles or rice so better to order one later you can order for one more.. Hope you have found worth review..
