Devi complex serves a lot better than orginal Hanumanthu, had biriyani and chicken 65, taste as absolutely fine. Serves perfectly for one person

Chicken and mutton biryani is tasty but spiciness is little high in the complementary gravy. More crowded during my visit there ( people waiting for us to stand ). Three floors of hotel with enough space for groups. Service is faster. Overall, a good spot for tasty biryani in town.

It's always my Place for lunch and dinner. I've been having food here for the past 12 years. Tastes for Kalmi and Palav remain the same till date. Best combo ever 😍🔥 Must Visit.

One of the best place in Mysore for Non Veg lovers, specially the briyani. Ordered for chicken briyani, mutton briyani, chicken pepper dry ( but it was looking/tasted like drumstick chicken), chicken kabab. Price is not v expensive + taste is worth the price. One of the must visit places in Mysore. They don't accept card but only cash. I will go again.

Over hyped. If you want to try pulav with chiken pieces than. Good. But if a spicy lovers then stay away. Fish fry was 👍 good.

Food was good. But one problem was that the curd was spoilt and even after disputing about the same, we got the same spoilt curd again! I was very dissatisfied with the incident as it was my first choice to go to after coming back from Bangalore!😭 Hopefully they will improve!

Loved their chicken pulao, but the leg soup could have been much better,. And chicken fry was average. I don't know why this change, i used to love their chicken fry.

Traditional south India spicy non-veg tastes like naati style 😋 good for medium budget

You can try authentic biryani and chilli chicken. The flavours indulged in chill chicken is just finger licking good.

Tandoori chicken and kebabs with ghee rice is an ultimate combo . Whenever I visit ,i never missed chicken tandoori with biriyani. Every Tuesday there will be "Nati Style Chicken biriyani" available with Nati Style Gravies. They have recently started Fish fries and fish kebabs, which is also tasty and worthy for the price.

I love the mutton Biriyani here. I have tried Naati koli Biriyani but mutton Biriyani is my favorite. Kalmi kebab is good too. Quantity they provide is very good for the price.

I love the chicken palav they serve. From more than 6yrs am going to this hotel. Even whenever I come from Dubai this place will be the first one I would love to visit n munch on my favourite dishes. This hanmanthu is nowhere in comparison with any other.

Taste is average. Oily rice items. Place is not hygiene. Not pleasant service. Please do not go by the name. Hyped up place. Not much on the menu.

I will not suggest to anyone.taste is not good and place also not higenic.am a food I had never felt such tasteless food. Quality of chicken also worst...

The best pulav. Mutton or chicken or just egg. Quality & quantity is more than the price. So yes comparing this food with any other, is very different. South Indian food is best. Grill chicken and others aren’t that great.

I love the mutton pulav more than that of other Hanumanthu Biryanis across mysore.. However the Kebab can be priced better.. Overall, I highly recommend the place..

A very small neighborhood place dishing out the best mutton and chicken biryani. It was easy to locate, speedy efficient service and good portion size.

They used to serve Egg chilli before & have stopped almost like 3 years back but it was so good. <br/>Kalmi it's not good as before & quantity wise for all sides & palov is good.

Hey! We had been to this place. Biryani was very bad. I don't mean to discourage but it's true. We had biryani at lot of restaurants in mysore. We had great expectations. I wouldn't suggest it to anybody.

Was in the locality and thought let me try. The food isn't great and also the service. In my opinion the original Hotel Hanumanthu both in Mandi Mohalla and the one in the kumvempunagar is the best and this one is no where in comparison to those two. I wouldn't recommend this of you wanted to experience the authentic Hanumanthu Biryani.
Ravi Thimmarayappa
Very bad, ,Not authentic food, pale biryani, worst kheema, original hanumanthu in mandi mohalla best. Please don't visit, hygenie zero. Still people came and eating, very strange.

One of the famous non veg restaurant in Mysore is <br/>" Hanumanthu Mess" It has many branches in Mysore. I think the original Hanumanthu hotel which is in Mandi Mohalla is quite ok compared to other branches.<br/>I don't know why people are so much crazy about hanumanthu biryani. The biryani which they served in this restaurant was not hot. It was very bland without any spicy and tasty. It just look like a white rice.
Adarsh Damodaran
Mutton pulav was not at all served hot.More ever mutton pieces were very hard not boiled or cooked properly ..ordered mutton fry, I was shocked to see only 3 pieces for 150 rupees ...Glass tumbler was not washed properly and was smelling bad..Wost thing is no Card swiping machine..Request to avoid this crap hotel which is looting people’s hard earn money by just serving a jeera rice kind of
The Hunger Tales
I ordered for mutton chops and chicken fry... Didn't like it at all. Didn't stand up to my expectations. Was totally disappointed. All I could taste in the curry was ginger.

I visited here for a quick meal... I tried famous mutton palav... it was good... mutton pieces were tender and rice was perfectly spiced.... even tangri fry was good and delicious..

It is a nice place to have Pulao.Mutton and chicken pulao both are good. Non-veg side dishes are also available.Mutton sides are nice.<br/>It is a simple eatery where you can drop by whenever you are looking for a good meal but not a place to sit and relax for long.<br/>Service is quick. They have take away but not home delivery.

Food: Visited place for lunch. This place is overrated on Zomato. The food is not great. We ordered mutton pulav and mutton chops. Both dishes were average. Not worth the time and effort.<br/><br/>Ambience: Below Average. Spread on 3 floors. Restaurant is not very spacious. The cleaning area is in the open next to the serving tables. This was a appetite killer. Not very comfortable with the hygiene.<br/><br/>Customer service: Staff are friendly. Food arrived quickly. Serving of food is not great. No spoons were given. Tissue Paper had to be asked.<br/><br/>Parking: No parking available for restaurant, however you will find places in vicinity to park vehicle. As there is a residential area surrounding this joint.<br/><br/>Overall not a happy experience.<br/><br/>

amazing food. Try chicken pulav with kalmi kabab(my mouth is watering just by typing this even though I ate the same a few hours back!) A must visit for every non vegetarian.

110% place for hardcore non vegetarian. One of the best place in mysore to hog authentic Karnataka non veg cuisines. Worth every penny you spend over here. Chilly chicken with Ghee Rice is a must try at this place. Try out yourself & you will come to know why so many Bollywood bigwigs ate at this famous eating joint.

Went here today for lunch. Fealt the mandi mohalla branch was better with mutton palaav and sherwa. The mutton fry which I didnt try in mandi mohalla had it here and it was lip smackingly good. Loved the spice. A place worth a visit.

Best economical place. Kamali Kabab. That's really delicious. Chicken biryani has generous chicken pieces. Unlike other places. Nice seating arrangements. Personal choice - Kamali Kabab

This restaurant is located on the 1st main road of Saraswathipuram. After a lovely movie "Godhi Banna Sadharana mykattu" at the nearby Saraswathi theatre, I was roaming around to find Dhonne briyani centre. To my disappointment I was not able to find it but I bumped on this place which seem to be busy. Hanumanthu New Hotel Devi annexe has three stories built on a very enonomic space. Hence the tables are very close to one another and may give you a feeling of claustrophobia. <br/><br/>When I entered the place at about 1:30pm there was no seat available in the ground floor and first floor. In the second floor I had to wait for some time before I got a place. Place us not that hygienic. The servers are very hard working, efficient, and at the same time courteous. <br/><br/>I ordered fish boneless kabab and chicken palav ( not briyani). The chicken palav was made in seeraga samba rice , was biege coloured, had 5-6 pieces of chicken, with mosaru bhaji, and chicken gravy. The palav was flavourful but was a bit bland to taste. But when mixed with the gravy and mosaru bhaji, it tasted just awesome. The quantity was okay and the cost was very cheap. <br/><br/>The fish kebab was also high on quantity. Honestly I didn't expect this many fish pieces for Rs 120. The taste was okay, not great. <br/><br/>Overall, this seems to be more than decent place for good and cheap non veg items, especially their non veg palavs.
