This is a good south Indian restaurant just like numerous others in the city. The taste is good and food is fresh, however, it is not unique or out of this world. The rates are high considering the atmosphere, limited space and lack of seating arrangement. The service is good and the behavior of the staff is also nice.

One of the oldest south Indian restaurants in nagpur. It is a small yet good restaurant which has no sitting area. This restaurant has self service system. Currently, they are running happy hours from 5pm to 10:30pm everyday. The food is delicious and hygienic. No vehicle parking available.

Whenever i visit nagpur make sure to have something from here. Its been awesome experience of authentic south Indian taste. Loved the food, service is quick and good. Highly recommended for like-minded people.

This is one of the finest and authentic south indian restaurant of Nagpur,,to be precise in Sadar...Just a small restaurant by space but big enough by taste...On weekends you may find heavy rush,,and only negative point is that it does not have seating space,,,you need to stand and eat the food...

You have to stand and eat at the counters at this restaurant. A small area to wash hands is available. We ordered Idli, Dosa and it was delicious. We were amazed by this gem of a restaurant. We tried to get here around 7:15 am to get a good spot to stand and eat our breakfast. Great job with packing our food to go! The aroma of freshly made sambar in the morning cold cannot beat. You can experience the true pleasures of eating a darshini early morning. Must try it if you have never tried this place before or are visiting Nagpur. One of my fav places since childhood.

Taken there by a friend for breakfast and I must say I am bowled over. They serve authentic South Indian snacks, all freshly prepared. Had Uttapa and Upma and both the dishes were delicious. Tea was also nice served in Tamilian style. Place is small but neat and clean. Will surely visit again.

Butter masala dosa is good also coconut chutney and sambhar is best in taste much better if served hot than getting it delivered

It is a top-of-the-line and authentic South Indian restaurant in Nagpur, specifically in Sadar...A small restaurant by size but big enough by taste...On weekends, it may be crowded, and the only drawback is that there is no seating, so you have to stand and eat.

The restaurant is amazing. Menu is little bit expensive but has sufficient quantity. The taste is amazing. Filter coffee is also nice. It is very famous place in Nagpur.

I have been visiting this place for many years, taste has changed since then and that's the reason why I am rating it 4!!<br/>But it's still better than Haldiram! I feel that they always have served fresh food,and also compete with the Uttar Dakshin,which has gained popularity only beacuse of good raste,more options in menu and biggest of all having a seating space!!<br/><br/>More or less,it is value for money considering taste and quantity. You people should try to have more seating space!!

The masala dosa was very tasty. But the sambar and chutney did not do very well

I have been going to this place since last 25 years and I can tell you the taste is still the same. they offer authentic south Indian breakfast items like Idli, Medu vada, Masala Dosa and other varieties. Highlight is unlimited sambar and chutney.. atleast it was given in my college days.. Small hole in the wall restaurant that has permanently created a specific taste of south Indian food in my memory. Whenever you are in Nagpur, give this place a try.. you will not regret it ....ever.

It was a random visit to Veeraswami because I lost a bet against my south indian friend and had to give him a south indian treat.. but trust me.. I was more happy after having a visit to this restaurant.. taste was really good and behavior too..

This place is a gem of the city. I have been eating here since I was a kid. I love their concept. There is no seating. This you will usually find in South India.<br/><br/>Their Medu Vada (Sambar Vada) is my Favourite and one of the best in the city. Also their Gulab Jamuns are a big hit. Soft and scrumptious 😋. This place is simply amazing.

Talk about the finest coffee and sambhar in the city. One of the oldest and most consistent places to visit in the city. I'm a fan of their idlis.. Soft anf fluffy perfectly paired with their amazing sambhar and coconut chutney.

I had ordered masala dosa sometime back and the taste was absolutely fantastic but I feel priced@105 and when received was also a little soggy so it isn't worth. Though Chutney and Sambhar was truly delicious.

Veeraswami has always provide good quality food but today I ordered 1 plate idli, vada & they’d sent just Vada & not idli. Vada was very oily which I haven’t experienced before at veeraswami and the oil in which vada was fried left a bad odour. Quiet disappointed.

I tried masala dosa and Gulab jamun. <br/><br/>Veeraswami never disappoints me taste at least.<br/><br/>This been many years I am eating from Veeraswami and same taste.<br/><br/>Masala dosa was supper crispy but Sambhar should be less spicy.<br/><br/>Gulab jamun is to soft.<br/><br/>9/10

The quality has gone down drastically. Earlier the preparation use to be very good but now it's not upto the mark.. dosa was very tuf to chew.. quality of sambar is not the same.. really sorry veeraswami you really need to work and get back to your actual quality..

Pakode were not up to the mark. Dosa was very hard to chew. Found overall downfall in quality. Earlier it was very good but today I am so much disappointed with the quality

There is fly in my order, very bad to see, could not even contact Zomato for my complain, veeraswami is one of the most hygienic restaurant and could not expect this from them.

5 years ago it was one of the best Nagpur restaurant but now it is the worst restaurant you can ever have because the service and the quantity is less.

Veeraswami~ A delicious blend of quality, quantity and taste; 😋😋😋 perfect definition of this place it is one of the oldest place of the city serving South Indian cuisines.<br/>We had Butter Masala Dosa and Idli here which was served with two chutnies and sambhar. There are very few places in nagpur serving coconut chutney and sambhar with good taste and this place is one of such😍😌. We also loved their chutney other than the coconut one.🤩<br/>All tastes so good😀 that it'll give you the burst of that authentic south indian flavours on such a pocket friendly prices😁<br/>Just don't get dissuaded by its look. Growing up in Nagpur, there is no place which is synonymous with South Indian food but Veeraswami.<br/>After living in South India for 3 years, Veeraswami fortunately hasn't lost its sheen for me.<br/><br/>It has it's imperfections, but it's like Nagpur itself.<br/>Those who like it, love it.

I ordered masala dosa and idli from Veeraswami and in cooking instructions i added to send only white chutney and red chutney but no sambhar .. and they just did the opposite, they sent me sambhar ...

The taste was good but the sambar vada was not completely cooked, it was raw from inside. Otherwise very good. Service by Zomato was also good.

I am a big dosa idli fan but I failed to find a good place in Nagpur that offer tasty idli and dosa but this place is the one which offers extremely delicious dosa and idli I have tried butter dosa here and I loved it the place is bit of expensive but totally worth it.

One of the nicest and the best place to have the South Indian food like dosa idli sambar Vada uttapam and other items and filter coffee they all are nice the authentic sambar and the chatani they are really very good I have ordered dosa Vada uttapam and all many times from this restaurant it's always good the same to same quality the quantity each and everything is perfect but there is only in one issues sometimes they already prepare the dosa and keep it ready for the delivery at that time it's not hot and because of the coldest it's become chui so they should focus on this and should not already prepare and keep it everything is perfect of this restaurant a very big thumbs up for veeraswamy love you guys keep up the good work and let's talk about the sitting arrangements and all and the space sitting arrangement is not that good we have to stand up and eat but it's ok because we don't take too much of time to sit over there and it's not a big place it's just a small shop I can say but the food is really very very great packing and all are really very good

Such a traditional yet perfect place to fulfill your cravings for South Indian dishes. They are experts in preparing their menu items, and have limited items because they serve nothing more than the south Indian stuff. Also, they haven't ever thought of upgrading their restaurant, actually the standing arrangement is quite unique, but the small space makes it uncomfortable for the customers because there is a lot of crowd especially in the evenings. So they should upgrade a little.

Veeraswami has been one of the few good places for south indian food, but I feel the taste has got detoriated with time but still 4 stars for the amazing Tea :)

One of my favourite places for authentic South Indian food!! It’s always a heartfelt and tummy full experience to visit Veeraswami. Just love the taste of there Dosa ( served with coconut chutney & sambhar) . Recently had Upma and Sambhar Wada which are great to taste too. Value for money seems be justified with the taste and quality as well. One plate of any of the dishes here can get you going for the till the time of the next meal. <br/>Overall a great experience to visit Veeraswami everytime!!

Don't order dosa online. Go to the restaurant and eat a fresh as well as hot dosa that gives you energy. Otherwise if you order it online this shop must be nearer to you. The dosa is taste better when it crispy. But when u order it online it becomes like #wet paper. So after this take your risk to order it online. But Dosa taste sooooo good.

Quantity was the best thing about the order. Dosa had the perfect size and perfect amount of potato filling. Sambhar and coconut chutney had 10 on 10 taste. only problem was that the dosa tasted a bit salty

Craving for south indian food. This is the place. I am a dosa fan; the dosa, the sambhar and the chatni everything is simply awesome. Just eating at the outlet is a bit difficult, since its a small place with no place to sit.

Good taste. Really huge Dosa to keep you full for full day.<br/>Only disadvantage about the place is you have no option to sit. Stand and eat, which do not make it all time option.
