Review Matka Biryani - Nagpur

I tried Matka Biryani after finding this place on Google. I loved the way they prepare matka biryani(Mutton) as well as its taste. This is the best biryani I've tasted in Nagpur. Had a great time chatting with the owned who told us a lot about other specialities of his restaurant and all his praise for the matka biryani stand validated. Highly recommended if you want to taste authentic biryani!

Came from Manishnagar after seeing awesome review in Google and it really worth to give 5 rating.. Awesome taste, better than KFC,better than Nagpur's stereotype restaurants..will come again

This place serves authentic food. The pricing is reasonable and the quantity-and-quality is superb. The owners are very kind-heart people coming from a small-town and they are very passionate about their restaurant. They have been able to maintain taste and hygiene in everything they serve. It's a must-go place for all non-veg lovers in the city.

Laziz matka biryani owner soo nice and his staff is very good. Vry polite staff We had lunch today at this place, we were pleased with the menu and the service. The place is clean and no food smell, which is very typical to me smelly at any Indian...loved the goat and chicken biryani. and kabab was great too. havent tried the others, but this will definitely be the place to go till we try out all the other dishes.. so far, dakshin ( in edison, nj ) was the only place we loved the food. now it has competition !Amazing biryani I've tried it many times. It's best when you order it home, the seating area is very nice .nd the food is great. Haven't tried the mutton biryani but the chicken biryani is great. You can order it by kgs too. 1 kg biryani is enough for about 8-10 people. They make it in a specially for you its fresh and tastes amazing.

I love the taste of Matka biryani the unique taste of Hyderabadi biryani no other restaurant can serve a grt taste like this. One should try klfc fried chicken amazing taste n so crispy and fresh better than KFC. Must try crispy chilly chicken platter sizzler as well as they provide a good n quick service.Wish u visit again soon.

Had come to know about Matka Biryani from a couple of my friends and specially the way they prepare in earthen pot. Was very much satisfied with the taste of Biryani which I found unique since it was made in the pot. It was quite hot even after 1 hour after I received it. The bonus for me is I can use the pot to make curd. Will surely order and recommend to my friends and relatives.

I’m rating it 4 just because it took almost an hour to reach my place. But then again rating it 4 because it was worth the wait. They unexpectedly sent a whole matka which was full of delicious biryani. Loved the experience :)

Have been ordering food from here they make good food Everytime I order.<br/>I have ordered their Biryani, Non Veg gravy and also Special Tandoori Roti which is made of Aata and not maida so it remains soft even when it is eaten after sometime.<br/>But No One can beat them in Matka Biryani and Fried Chicken, definitely it is much better than any other Fried Chicken.

Loved the food completely. Its the real Zaika of Biryani cooked in earthen Pots exclusively. The real taste and aroma fills you with delightness.<br/>I will say if u are a biryani Lover this place is heaven for you. besides that it offers a wide range of delicacies that will be a treat to your tastebuds.

For late night cravings we thought something from close by would be great. Quick and delicious. Ordered for three places mutton biryani and might I add it wasn't a disappointment. It was delicious and the serving portions were more than sufficient.<br/>

It tasted like plain rice with steamed chicken. Did not contain any kind of spices.

Once i ordered matka biryani from this place and at that time the taste was good. But today i ordered it, the taste was not good at all as they didnt add any favours to it neither they put any % of salt in the Biryani. The saalan was also taste less.

Worst service, ordered food online using Zomato, waited for 3 hours to delivery of food & all of sudden got message from Zomato that they have cancelled the order meanwhile came to know that in this time Zomato dramatically acting as a third party, I think Zomato team have to confirm that the particular restaurant could deliver the food on given time limit before customer make a order instead Zomato have confirmed order first keep customer waiting & suddenly cancelled all the order, great experience, great service, never order food from Zomato & one more important thing that Zomato doesn't have any customer support number so that customer could contact Zomato manually, all the numbers provided by Zomato are out of order...<br/><br/>

The biryani was a little short on spices and there was no raita with it. The gravy provided was also very less.

I have been ordering Matka Biryani from here and i would say I have never tasted Biryani like this anywhere in Nagpur. They make Hyderabadi Biryani and my friends say it's better than the Biryani they have had in Hyderabad.<br/>Their Fried Chicken is also very Good.<br/>Ambience of restaurant is average but in terms of Service and Taste they are Great.....

Bought small chicken matka biryani with very high hopes. Got a nice take away matka. All our hopes have been grounded when we tasted the "matka biryani".<br/>It was the worst biryani I ever had in my life...full of oil...no distinct flavour...chicken was tasteless. <br/>The best part is we got an empty matka for daily use after we have thrown away rest of the biryani. <br/>Person on the counter is a nice guy but he really need to work on the flavours if he wants to be in the market.

Ordered Veg biryani... Worth every penny... Strongly recommend​ to biryani lovers and fellow foodies of Nagpur. Definitely five star from me.

Not received order till now

It was not at all a good experience. They don't know how to address a customer and talk to them. The Service was horrible.<br/>Improper management.

I had ordered two Naan and two tandoori roti with paneer butter masala. The taste of PBM was worst and what to say about tandoori roti that was not made in tandoor it was a normal chapati and that also not properly stoved and that naans was same as that of chapati in taste. Naan was like it was just cut in the shape of triangle and delivered without any taste.

I ordered 1 chicken biryani at home, after waiting for 45 mins when they have to deliver. A person from this restaurant calls up and says we will charge you extra for delivery. I said but I'm already paying 30rs how much more? He then said fairs of Rick has increased and my delivery boys bike is not working. I then to re order from other restaurant and wait for another 45 mins. #NotRecommended

Mediocre biryani..Ordered 3 Full Chicken Biryani yesterday..and the Quality was abysmal..it had disaster written all over..Its was just fried Rice with Boiled Chicken..Not recommend for even my enemies...Thank You Matka Biryani for making us realize what is definitely not a Biryani..Kudos!!!

Had heard a lot about this place before visiting Nagpur so it was on my to do list while on my visit to the city. This is a small place in sadar which serves matka biryani. I ordered chicken biryani and let me tell you it was really yummy. They serve it with Curry and mint sauce. The food ia really yummy and a must try for foodies visiting Nagpur!!

Apparently this place is kind of famous in Nagpur, plus my father suggested this place, so I thought why not give it a shot for sake of love for biriyani. It took them one whole hour to deliver at my place and I hoped that the food be worth the faith. We had ordered from this place a year ago and with that in mind, we ordered again this time. The packaging is wonderful, a sealed mutka (pot) with buttermilk and curry. Buttermilk tastes good if it's had chilled. This mutka can easily serve 4 people. Breaking the "dum" could be a small task. A little pricey, but the quantity is good enough for that rate.<br/>So we ordered for mutton biriyani, keeping in mind that the last time we enjoyed eating. This time, the rice was dry, but then it could be adjusted with the curry they gave along with the biriyani. What killed our hunger was that, the mutton was burned, since it was at the bottom. Overcooked and lacked flavour in it. It was just an average dum biriyani with burned mutton. Being a biriyani lover myself, couldn't enjoy it this time. I would give the -<br/>Food-2/5<br/>Service -2.5/5

Sorry to say but this is an over hyped restaurant. Style of serving Biryani in matka is new to the city but biryani is completely tasteless. Ordered Mutton Biryani from here but it was no way like authentic biryani. It was more of tasteless mutton masala topped with steamed rice and enclosed in an earthen pot. Never ever going to have biryani again from this place. We have much better options for Biryani in Nagpur.. disappointed with this one.

I found it, as the definition of biriani... Mind blowing! Specially the way they prepared the biriani and opend the lid in front of us. The smell took my heart away.

I really enjoy the food from Lazeez. The best thing about it that they cater to our individual tastes. I often find it difficult to order food from places because it's too spicy and I can't eat spicy but Lazeez always makes sure that I get fresh, hot food that is not spicy and because I know that most people eat spicy food, I also know that they make it fresh for me. The service is also great. Food is delivered well in time and with great courtesy. It is a relief to know that even if I don't feel like cooking, I have a place that I can order great food from. This place has my 5 stars.

I'm .....biryaani lover and...when I came in Nagpur I can't get the right hotel for biryani...suddenly I opened the app zomato and I saw the hotel LAZEEZ MATKA BIRYANI. The biryani which I ate. is very authentic and really that biryani is originally MATKA biryani

Ok coming to this exclusive matka biryani as I had heard a lot from ppl serves both mutton and chicken biryani . I had tasted mutton biryani which tasted good.. The best part is they make and serve biryani in matka's which keeps the biryani super hot each time u serve . U can even parcel the biryani with the matka. Nice concept in Nagpur 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. I went here yet again after reading reviews in Zomato. Well our foodies are spot on!<br/>I ordered the chicken biryani. The matka adds the originality bit to the food. The taste is superb. The menu said that the small biryani was for 2-3 persons. .. But we (family of four) had it for two meals!<br/>The place is bests for take aways..... There is no ambience worth the name.<br/>But the awesome biryani will surely take me again to this place!

I ordered Chinese - chilly chicken and chicken noodles from Lazeez Matka Biryani. My impression - both the items tasted like shit. I have never tasted anything so horrible. We had to throw the food away. And I am not exaggerating.<br/><br/> Unfortunately Foodpanda is not allowing me to either rate or review the food. I would rate it minus five. <br/><br/>I have not tried their Biryani or other stuff hence won't comment on it. This is one of the best restaurants in nagpur for chicken pop corn and sizzlers. They are absolutely yummy and tasty. Even the matka biryani tastes superb. I would recommend this to all. :-)

The Best Dum Biryani providers in Nagpur, - 'Lazeez Matka Biryani'.<br/><br/>I would further like to say that Matka Biryani is the Best Biryani I ever had & first time Biryani Cooked in Matka. Something Unique to See & Taste.<br/>Biryani is prepared and severed from the Matka, important to note they do not reuse the Matka again. That means Matka is used Only one time.<br/><br/>The aroma of the steam which comes when the lid (which is sealed with flour) is opened is so tempting and mouth watering that cannot be explained in words but only experienced.<br/><br/>It is really Authentic Biryani preparation with the right quantity of various ingredients specially to note is that I did not find it Oilly which is predominantly seen in most of the Biryani Restaurants.<br/><br/>I recommend this Restaurant if you want Quality Biryani and Popcorn Chicken ( Better than Top Fried Chicken Giants)..<br/><br/>Lazeez you definitely make LAZEEZ food, keep it up.<br/><br/>You deserve much More than 5 Stars.<br/><br/>

I was knowing about this Restaurant for quite a long time but I visited here recently after my friend told me about the Best Biryani served in Nagpur. We Friends went here on 1st Jan 2016 to have dinner and ordered Fried Chiken in Starter and one of our friend who was fond of Hydrabad Haleem saw Haleem in their Menu and ordered for it, from the Owner of this Restaurant we came to know that after Hyderabad in Nagpur this is the only One Restaurant where One can get this Starter.<br/>With this Starter we also went for there Authentic Hydrabadi Matka Biryani.<br/>Well their Fried Chiken was Good, it was Crispy and Crunchy and had the taste of Indian Spices giving a Indian Touch and My friend nd all of us liked the Hyd Haleem cause we all tasted One One Spoon from the bowl which we had ordered. <br/>Later on the waiter brought the Biryani which was in clay Handi covered with clay lid and sealed by dough(Aata) when he opened the lid the steam came out and the Aroma was very good which came from the pot latter on we came to know from the Owner that the steam was Dum. <br/>All of us enjoyed the Biryani, really it was very good in presentation as well as Taste.<br/>I had thanked my friend who referred this Biryani Joint to us. <br/>I Will definately go back to have there other dishes...<br/>
