Review New Ram Bhandar - Nagpur

This is the place which has all modern food variations but dint change the taste of its original food. For example, the taste of dahi samosa which I use to have 25 years back during school days, is still the same. Just loved the place, the taste and company of school friends. Nothing can beat that

Matadin Ram Bhandat is one of the finest Restaurant cum Sweet Shop at Nagpur. It is near to the Pratap Nagar Square. Famous for their sweets and farsan Ram Bhandar started serving vegetarian food also on demand of people. Soon it took that grip and flurished rapidly that besides Maharashtrian Food they started Punjabi dishes also. Today they serve Zunka Bhakri to Chole Bhature everything is there on their menu. It's a good place for families and friend groups obviously for veg food only. Ambiance and Service is good but problem is with parking they don't have parking you will have to park your vehicle roadside only. During the evening hours it is pretty crowded.

A very nice place to have your meal as it provides a wide variety of options to try out and each items' taste amazing. I tried their unlimited thali and varhadi thali and to be honest the taste was very mind-blowing. But one thing that needs to be consider is the waiting time and it can be as long as 1-1:30 hrs depending on the crowd. But none the less it is worth waiting.

Great place for a quick lunch with friends and family. Service is a little slow but the food is delicious! Traditional veg and non veg. Parking outside and two levels of AC seating. Shop on site with a wide range of sweets and deserts. Recommended.

One of the best place in nagpur for having snacks and breakfast. Their cookies and sweets are also famous. We had South Indian dishes and taste was really good.

A great and affordable place to have brunches , snacks and dinner. Must try in summers- their infamous malai lassi. If you want to look for evening snacks and sweets , this place if for you.

This is one of the great place for family lunch or dinner. It has variety of cuisines along with number of desserts. Chole bhature and lassi are the famous dishes here which are absolutely worth buying. I tried sizzler and unlimited thali in which the quantity and quality of both the dishes were very good. The prices are okay, ambience is also good.

Food is good. Some of my favorite dishes are Special sizzler & Hara bhara kebab. Even they offer wide variety of fresh sweets. Just deducting 1 star because of their 1st floor serving staff & waiters. Because it takes a lot of effort to call them to take order.

This place is probably the oldest restaurants in Nagpur which has a wide variety of sweets, snacks and meals offering. Has a lovely ambiance though parking is an issue in this area. The portion is good given the cost which is at the higher end. But overall always a good experience whenever dining here. Thali is also good contains- 1 Paneer, 2 veg, kadhi, dahi wada, chapati, papad, pulav, soup and sweet. Must try- Bengali sweets, lassi, pav bhaji, chole bhature, north Indian main course.

Pure Vegetarian restaurant, has two floors with smaller restaurant at ground floor with adjacent sweet and snacks shop On the first floor is the bigger restaurant space. It's busy on weekends and even sone weekdays Food is good and decently priced Staff behavior and service is also nice.

Sweets are really tasty and fresh. Even food is good but pav bhaji taste was not up to the mark. Good place to buy sweets and farsan rather than dining as long waiting specially , if you plan for dinner

Nice restaurant but I tried only chole bhature and dosa ..they were so good.

Visited R$am Bhandar after a gap of almost 6-7 yraes !! During our last visit freshness of decor and cushioned chairs, sofad and dining tables were on the last leg. Chairs and Sofa cushions were filthy to put it mildly. Spoilt the mood. Resulting in not enjoying food as well. Vowed never to visit it again. Visited Ram Bhandar after a gap of almost 6-7 yraes !! Went to first floor. Decor and furniture was all renovated. Ambiance felt good. We had delux thali and masala dosa. Delux thali is "limited". it is still more than enough to satisfy hunger of an average person. Both dosa and thali were quite sat. Did not regret breaking our vow.

The service is v mismanaged, the waiters don't take your orders once they take the food takes a longggg time to be served. This restaurant is quit on the higher side of the price, for basic items on the menu they charge you a bomb. Taste is good but really not worth the money they charge.

The food is good, but service is the worst here. They don't even come to take your order until you fetch 2 3 waiters. After taking the order they don't serve you for the next 15 minutes. After we had our soup and papad, we were served with the main course straight after 25 minutes. How unprofessional is that?

Best restaurant to have veg food .I had tried their panner butter masala, and mushroom masala . PBM is quiet sweeter one .. and mushroom masala was medium spicy .. behavior of stall is good ... Ambience is best .. it's a best restaurant for vegetarian's HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Be it today or 20 years ago, the taste of the restaurant's food has been good, infact it has gotten better with time.<br/><br/>My go to place for tomato soup when I am not well, pav bhaji when I crave to have something spicy, tava pulao comes handy with pav bhaji and paneer butter masala the ultimate lip smacking dish in the main course.<br/><br/>May it be noodles or dosa, chole bhature or fruit custard, paneer tikka or thali, samosa or any chiwda, you won't ever be disappointed with the flavour. In the end you will be satiated with food and behaviour of the courteous staff.<br/><br/>The interiors have been recently renovated with some detailed work.<br/><br/>It's a nice place for family dine-in, well you can go with your friends too, if your preference is taste over the place! :)

Great place for any meal of the day. Wide range of dishes to choose from. Big families get accommodated upstairs. Ambience is welcoming, hygiene looks good.<br/>Have tried various cuisines here, and happy with all of them.<br/><br/>Chalo bhatora is a star here.

Good quality and taste along with decent quantity with nice ambience only thing need to improve is entry exit area..rest..its a good decent place.

Will give 0 rating for there behavior and staff service, even dont have manners to ask water, tables already occupied by staff, please educate your staff and teach manners.<br/>

Nice family restaurant with a good variety of common and unique north Indian dishes. Tried veg hiltop..one of the best eaten here. Service is bit slow and hence rating 4. Bit expensive but worth it.

Ram Bhandar is complete vegetarian restaurant and is very popular in vicinity. The food tastes good and it bears a good ambience. I have ordered Cheese Balls which were unique and quite good in taste also of course only if you love cheese. The behavior of owner is very polite but some of staff is too arrogant and do not respond appropriately. I have also made note of this to the owners.

Ordered Paneer Masala, Veg Biryani and Veg Manchurian ! Awesome flavor and Biryani was out of the world ! Service is pretty fast ! Will keep coming back !

I'm a huge fan of their sweets would be an understatement.<br/>I've been having Indian desserts from here since a really long time and it never disappointed me. Love the fresh and flavorful sweets they serve. And not just the desserts, I'm a sucker of their food too. Be it Indian snacks, proper thali, Chinese or Italian food too, everything they serve is just as amazing ❤<br/><br/>What i tried on my last visit: Aaloo puri, Chole bhature, malai lassi, assorted dry fruit mithais and mango lassi.<br/><br/>Taste was beyond amazing. Rates are reasonable here. Service is quick and ambience is classy.<br/>I love everything about this place.<br/><br/>Highly recommend ❣<br/>All in all, 5/5 from me!

This is a strictly vegetarian restro. The ambience is nice. Staff service needs improvement. I ordered a veg crispy , rice dhokla and mango lassi. The veg crispy was undercooked and not very crispy. Dhokla and lassi were great. This place is famous for its lassi.

Ram bhandar is a place I have been visiting since last twenty years.The pavbhaji has been my favourite always since then ,plus the malai lassi was a must have in the summers .Now this restaurant has been renovated and has become even better .The pav bhaji and lassi are still the same ,excellent taste.To one of the oldest restaurants in pratap nagar ,I highly recommend Matadin Ram Bhandar ,specially for the pavbhaji and lassi to enjoy in the summers.

Ground floor serves sweets and quick snacks whereas<br/>1st floor serves lunch dinner both.<br/>Cigar roll was perfectly crispy.<br/>Malai paneer tikka was absolute loving and a must try from ram bhandar.<br/>Tried there Warhadi and delux thali both.<br/>Warhadi thali is perfect Maharashtrian thali consisting zunka bhakar to Puran poli and am loving the taste.<br/>Delux thali consisting more varieties of veggies.<br/>Paneer tasted amazing.<br/>Malai lassi served in kulhad was so special and perfectly balanced.<br/>Mango lassi consisting mango pulp enhanced it's taste.<br/>Mix fruit custurd was so refreshing.<br/>Overall a must visit place.<br/><br/>

One of the oldest and reputed food junction of Nagpur. Matadin Ram bhandar is an old chain of Nagpur since 1950.<br/>The pratap nagar branch is one of them.<br/>A two storey restaurant with snacks and sweets counter on the ground floor and fine fine on the first floor.<br/>The ambience of the place is very good especially of this branch.<br/>The sweets of Ram bhandar are very good and always served fresh.<br/>In starters i tried paneer malai tikka which still is the best I've ever tried. Cigar rolls were also good and Paneer dragon which also was a very good starter to order.<br/>In main course i tried their signature varhadi thali which basically is for spicy loving Nagpurians and their MRB special thali which is a great option in lunch and dinner both.<br/>In dessert i tried their Malai lassi which is the best lassi and their specialty since 1950 and Mango lassi which also is as good as their malai lassi.<br/>And in the end I tried their kulfi's which included mango, sitafal, coconut, green apple, chocolate rabri and pan flavor.<br/>Totally loved my experience here.

According yo my experience the Restaurant is good but the service is not.<br/>Why because we ordered veg cutlet after eating chinese samosa but two or three of the waiters were ordering each other to take our order, even if we tried to order the cutlet on the counter but they said to sit on table. After waiting for about 20 minutes we left the table.<br/>All and all it was quite bad experience.

Just because interior is good , people are visiting the place.. coming to the service . .. it is very quick .. and about taste .. is just ok .. the rates they have kept for the dishes are not matching with the taste they r serving ..<br/>If you want to have good food with good taste .. do *NOT* visit this place

1st floor has an amazing ambience with beautiful decor. The service is quick and the staff is very polite. The food is very tasty but the quantity of food is really very less as per the price
