Review Kokam - Konkani Kolhapuri Malwani - Nagpur

Heard from friend about a new place serving Kokani, Malvani and Kolhapuri cuisine. We knew of other restaurants in Nagpur serving Kolhapuri cuisine. To our knowledge this was first time we had heard a restaurant serving Kokani and malvani Cuisine . Decided to try it. Located near Trimurti Nagar Square on Ring Road.it is quite small place. When we visited there were just three tables inside with maximum seating of 16 people. Rest of the tables were outside adjacent to the restaurant frontage along the footpath. Hand washing facility also outside. If you do not want to sit out side and want a place inside go a bit early. No pretence at ambiance, just plain and simple appearance. All these apparently minus points are more than adequately made up by the food. We had asked for Kokani Prawns Thali and Pomfret Rava Fry. Thali gad real authentic konkani taste. And so was the pomfret a dish it does not lend itself to any "masalas" and condiments. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended for those who love Kokani food. Next visit thinking of trying out Malvani.

This place is just awsome.. Taste is wow fast service quite small place for indoor sitting but outdoor sitting is good.

Great food. Perfect balance of spices. Avoid extra oil. Try hard to get more fresh fish. Best destination for seafood from west seashore in city like Nagpur.

I really did not imagine that I could taste sea fish in Nagpur! Thank you KoKaM! Food at KoKaM is awesome! Fishes are really fresh though they are said to be brought from Mumbai! Five star for freshness of fish, taste of Surmai fry and Solkadi!!

Truly amazing place for all the sea foodprobably the only place in nagpur which serves kokani kolhapuri and malwani under the same with lot of options in sea food variety also mutton and chicken is served so you don't have to depend on only seafood.. only one option for vegetarian which I think is understandable as the place is more focused on seafood variety which you really get in nagpur definitely a must visit place for all the nagpuri...

It's very good food quality. People who is interested in kokani malvani kolhapuri food no need to go anywhere you will get good quality same food under one roof in vidharbha... Food is just like home made..... Enjoy lot

Only place in Nagpur for quality seafood ...rava pomfret , rava prawns are true to malwan taste ..need to expand menu more ...overall perfect place for people of Nagpur to break monotonous food served at other places ..

Just awesome food.. speciality in thalis.. non veg and veg options are both delicious. A bit costly but 100 % worth it.
