Review Hotel Radhakrishna - Nashik

Mark Menezes
A great seafood restaurant in Nasik. They have a great variety of mocktails and starters. The starters were a bit mild on flavour. We had ordered Mandeli fry and prawns fry. It didn't taste, bland , but the masala used didn't have much impact. The thalis were flavourful though. You have the option of having chapati, bhakri for your thali. We had chicken thali, surmai thali and prawns Thali. They serve 2 types of gravies in the thali. Do try their masala jeera soda. Overall, it's a good restaurant!

Really good experience with fish and mutton Sukha. The fish curryi needed to be cooked a little more. Surprisingly paneer chili and mushroom and paneer masala was also really good

A must visit while in Nashik...really mouth watering seafood and mutton... The 1st floor is air-conditioned and has the washrooms there. The ground floor is non AC but sufficiently airy and cool as Nashik has great climate...you are sure to enjoy the food and prompt service...! They have sufficient parking...but when they are over crowded you may have to squeeze your car in, but the door man helps you to find a parking space.

Hotel Radhakrishna is a popular hotel for seafood in Nashik. The atmosphere is very good. It's spacious and the seating arrangement is also good. The food was delicious. What I liked the most is When you order food they suggest dishes as per the availability of fresh seafood. When I ordered King fish curry they told me that the size of the pieces are too big. Then I ordered Fish Tikka Basa (suggested by the manager) in the starter and which was very good. Ravas curry was also good. I strongly recommend Hotel Radhakrishna if you are a seafood lover.

Goto place if you want to have fresh seafood in Nashik. Do try their variety of fish thalis. Their mutton thali is also good. And don't forget to have bombil fry for starters. Chicken, mutton and fish all the equally delicious and yummy

Hotel Radhakrishna is a well known and popular place for seafood lovers in Nashik. Had visited it number of times on the past, recently had got a chance to relive those wonderful moments and guess what, I was not at all disappointed. The hotel had a makeover and the new place is quite clean and tidy. Good for families to go and service is up to the mark. Food quality is of top class, service is fast and courteous. Prices are also reasonable as compared to other seafood restaurants and every visit here is a treat for every seafood lovers.

This has to be the best sea-food restaurant in Nashik. We ordered Surmai fry, Prawns fry in starters which was the best order of our visit. I also had a Chicken thali which was average. Highly recommended for sea food lovers. Pricing is on a higher side for thali but worth it.
Food Search
The best place to enjoy seafood. Food was good and fish was quite tasty. The Hotel specializes in sea food and serves Promfret, Prawns etc which are cooked in Konkan Style. It is situated in Industrial area and away from the main city due to which the prices are cheaper than the restaurants in the main city. The restaurant does not have a AC dining hall. a must visit for all sea food lovers and for other who want to enjoy good food.

Excellent choice of restaurant if you are looking for seafood options. We happened to go there based on Zomato reviews and found the place much better than our expectations. Normally seafood places have a rushed ambience and a crowded vibe. But not Radhakrishna. This has a simple, yet elegant dining area with a well lit and well ventilated space. The orders were taken swiftly and the orders came through pretty quickly too. We went in for Surmai Fish Thali and Special Fish Thali along with a prawn starter and 2 veg thalis. The food was delicious and quantities sufficient. We all loved the experience. We tried to visit again on a Sunday evening but there was a waiting for minimum 45 mins. So we had to leave the place disappointed. I will definitely visit this place again on my next visit to Nashik. Absolutely loved the place.

As you enter you find very very very casual and contemporary ambience, I loved clay/Kawelu roof. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They serve best 'Malwani' and 'Konkani' cooked food in Nashik. You can also ask them to cook the same in 'काला मसाला' (black spice) which is too good to resist. Coconut dominates the taste in malwani food (I loved it). Pomfret, prawns are fresh and well washed and cleaned. White chapati made of rice flour something that I tried for first time, it tastes best when hot. Prawns made in black masala would be my pick of the day it's very delicious. A must go place for sea food lovers. Soon they are shifting a block next to the present property.

Absolutely worth visiting! We went to their new branch in Nashik and had a great experience. Their fish dishes are amazing but very surprisingly their Mutton dry was the best dish we had. Do not miss this place if you are from or visiting Nashik.

Neat and clean place with elegant decor. The staff were very courteous and rates reasonable. The best part is their food. We had chicken Tali and chicken biryani. The biryani was awesome. We even visited the next day and packed 2 chicken biryanis for Mumbai. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Place has authentic Malwani (if you know what it means) seafood however other meats and poultry dont have proper malwani options. The place is well priced and portions are generous. The place has become bigger and better when it comes to seating check out the pictures.

A very beautiful place ambience wise. They serve very good malvani meal in the town. We often visit this place at evenings . They serve dishes in both malvani as well as typical black masala gravy. The starters are amazing too. This place is best for sea food and non veg dishes.
Well gotto know this restaurant from our way back to Mumbai from our annual pilgrimage to Shirdi.
Fantastic service and food. Since I'm the only Non Veg eating member of the family the fish, prawns and the chicken dishes were mouthwatering.

The restaurant is famous for its fish preparations and claims it to be their speciality. This is 100% true!! You might rarely other restaurant service such amazing Fish, prawns, curries and ultimate fish thaalis. The food is too good. I would personally recommend to try their fish fry and crab soup. Kudos to you Hotel Radhakrishna!!

I am a frequent visitor to places since past many years.. My this visit led to serious disappointment.. The price of Thali is raised n the quantity n quality of food served is drastically degraded... It was totally blan .. N fish quality was also not up-to the mark.. The rice was served in a very small bowl.. Which was equal to 3-4 tbsp only.. Surmai fry had pungent smell of ready to use ginger garlic paste.. Solkadi was just OK. Manleli curry was tasteless.. With not so fresh mandeli.
Sevre dissapointed for a hardcore fish eater like me...

Worst place to sit with family.. They dont have seperate place for family..... Disgusting experience.. They even dont need the new customers......
Harshad Mahajan
if you are thinking to go here with ur family or wife.. drop the idea and go somewhere else.. they dont allow you to sit in separate family section.. when we visited the place it was full of men who was drinking around and the waiter alsked us to sit right besides them. so we left the place

If you are a sea food lover, then you will like this place a lot. The fish offered here will remind you of the typical coastal restaurants. I personally loved the fresh fish thali here.

Amongst the best seafood Thalis I have ever eaten. A must visit place for sea food lovers like me. After enjoying 2 dinners here, I can safely say that they serve delicious food and the quality of the seafood is tremendous. The service is also very good. I would keep visiting :)

As we all know Nashik seriously lacks a good seafood restaurant, there are few exceptions like Sugras Canteen but getting your hands on nice crispy fried prawns or those juicy bombils is a tough job in the city and a pain only a seafood lover can relate. Today we're talking about the hidden gem and another exceptional place in the city tucked away in MIDC area surrounded by factories.

If you are familiar with this restaurant you might have already guessed the name, "Hotel Radhakrishna". This place has been known for serving amazing seafood for a few decades.

This place is surrounded by factories and has a basic ambiance. But the place is clean tidy and have comfortable seating. They also have a bar which is separated from the main seating area. They almost serve everything a standard restaurant serves, an array of veg and non-vegetarian Indian and Chinese dishes, though the main attraction is their amazing seafood.

Since we were confused we ordered two thalis instead of a la carte menu, A chicken thali, and special fish thali. Both thalis looked spectacular when they arrived on the table. Starting with chicken thali it had two different types of chicken gravies Chicken malwani, egg bhurji, sol kadhi and rice. Special fish thali had 4 types of fish i.e. bombil, surmai, bangda (2 fried and 2 curries), solkadhi, rice and chapatis. The thalis were totally value for money. Chicken malwani had a very distinctive malwani touch, unlike most restaurants which serve any curry under the malwani label. Fish thalis were almost had coastal touch, especially I liked the bangda curry a lot. Fried fish was amazing too, fresh, juicy and crispy perfectly in every sense. Though solkadhi was little too bland which can be improved.

Overall the meal was really something to look forward to every weekend. fresh, nicely made and value for money. the service was very prompt and the staff is well sound with the dishes they server so ask them if you're confused.

Thalis is just a small portion of what they serve, and we are eager to try down their other dishes especially the prawn's fry but till the please visit Radhakrishna and let us know your feedback in the comment section.

Simple place with lovely food and polite staff ....and food was really tasty we took prawns fry for starters it wise nice in taste and fresh. Later we took chicken malvani handi full quantity was good and taste was also nice. Chicken biryani wasn't tasty but was good. Yes and solkadhi was lovely perfect taste.

It's been malvani hotel we enquired for Chicken Thali but due to non availability because of rainy season felt bad that I couldn't taste the fish.

I had very much hope n i go there but taste was not good solkadhi is smelling.food was not up to the mark.there is very much scope for improvement...

Food quality is really awesome. You must try seafood thali . Would also recommend to try bombil, surmai and prawns fry. Awesome finger licking taste. Over all a very nice place to enjoy non veg with ur family. Total worth for money

Discovered this online.. called the restaurant which did booking for me.. nice open seating yes climate with good.
This is not luxury restaurant but good place to have food with family. The only place in Nashik where you will get fresh fishes. And it's their speciality as well. They do have bar option available. If you are a seafood lover then you should definitely visit this place. The ambience is pretty good, outdoor seating is available. The parking area is available.
Talking about Service, this place has good service. The cleanliness is also good. Fish Curry is something that you need to try once and Tawa Fry as well.

Cheers,
Guruprasad
Foodie From Nashik

Should be visited only if you wish to spend a lot on food. The quality of the food is good however it is over priced for very small proportions of each dish. Taste wise to, the food is not upto the mark. Also, the staff that served us was extremely rude and untrained.

Been in Nashik for a week on work i was really tired of the food from most of the restaurants. I thought of exploring some restaurant which could serve home made style food. Then i came to know about this place and i was impressed to see sea food on the menu.

The ambience is simple. Place is clean and neat. I went through the entire menu and was confused what to order. Few things on my mind were crab soup, surmai fry, rawas fry, promfret thai, all prawns thali. The usual promfet thali comes with bombil and basa fish curry which is not much of my liking, so i decided to go with Promfret special thali which offerred prawns malvani and prawns curry, solkadi, 2 chapati (u may ask for more at no extra cost), rice, salad.

The food was Home made style as expected. It was light, simple and the fish was fresh.

I found the special thali a bit pricey (550/-) considering the taste, quality and quantity but there were other pocket friendly options as well.

Considering the limited options in the area this place is worth a try.
Rohit Gupta
Highly recommended if you're into Malvani Sea Food.

Had Butter Garlic Prawns for starters , great to taste and goes well with the beer.
And then coming to the Pomfret Thali.
Generous amount of gravy Solkadi crisp Pomfret and some fish in the gravy as well.
Although 500 is a bit costly but totally worth it.

Best place to get value for money sea food... don’t forget to try their malwan special SOLKADHI. Gavthi chicken chilli, Basa fry, prawns/surmai malawani/goan curry, rice bhakri... they have bar also. For the ambience Lights would be better they r quite dim otherwise best place for fish and chicken... their prices justify quantity and quality of food...

We wanted some Malwani seafood so decided to try this restaurant out. Was quite happy and full by the end of it. We went straight for the thalis (fish thali, prawns thali and mutton thali). You’ll get two types of fish curry, rice, chapati, solkadhi, bombil fry and surmai fry in the fish thali. The other two thalis are similar. The bombil fry and both fish curries were excellent. The fish was fresh and tasty. The prawns thali was also good in which you’ll get a generous amount of prawns (fries and in curries). The service was good. This place is great for seafood lovers and I’d definitely recommend their thalis.

Ambience - 3.5/5
Food - 4.5/5
Service - 4/5
Value for money - 4/5
Overall experience- 4/5

Good food and nice ambience. Not a typical Marathi restaurant. One of the best place in Nashik to taste fish varieties. The service up here is quite good.

D next evening in Nashik, decided to try SeaFood as being a true Mumbaikar just can't survive widout my sea cuisines 😊😊😊
Surfed d place on Zomata n given d fact dat Nashik has limited food joints serving sea food, decided to give ds place a try!!!👍👍👍
Well luved d ambience wd ample of space n a very cozy sitting arrangements; check out d pics👇👇👇
Staff was hospitable 👌👌👌
We ordered prawns koliwada, surmai cooked in malvani style n khandeshi style, rice bhakari n streamed rice!!!
Well d taste of prawns koliwada wasn't authentic 😢😢😢 felt like I m just having bland prawns fry...
So clubbed it wd schezwan chutney to add to d flavours!!!
Malvani surmai gravy was paleable; wd score it 7/10. However, didn't like d taste of khandeshi gravy to dat extent forcing me to score it only 6.5/10.
Rice bhakari was nice n steamed rice tasted yummy wen clubbed wd Malvani gravy 👍👍👍
Overall I can say, if u r dying to have sea food n unable to figure out sea food joints in d vicinity, Hotel Radhakrishna can b given a single try!!👌👌👌
Really and amazing place to taste nasik food. The spiciness simply brings a burst of flavours. A pocket friendly place. Great quantity. Tried the mutton thali and it was yum. If you want to try non veg this is one place I would surely recommend.
Juili Kadam
Very good sea food. generous amount of food on thali. Fish thali consists of two diffrent fish fry ( I got one big surmai and 5 medium bombil on my thali 😍😋) , two fish curry , roti soulcurry and rice . They can still improve on the ambiance 👍🏽

I decided to visit here just bcz heard a lot about this place as a best sea food destination in Nashik... DELICIOUS SEA FOOD.. literally.. u can't get better than this in Nashik.. we ordered Special Surmai fry and Prawns Biryani.. Surmai was fresh, properly fried, less oily.. thumps up for Prawns biryani, properly flavoured with spices, tasty.. Prawns were fresh soft.. This is my first visit will update review as soon as i check in again..

Now we ordered pomphret fry, surmai (king fish) curry, chicken biryani n solkadhi. Solkadhi was awesome i ordered it twice, pomphret fry was ok, but surmai curry malvani style was good, not much spicy not much sweet they give almost 3 pieces of surmai with curry which is very good. Chicken biryani was delicious, proper mix spices gives you delicious flavour, chicken was property cooked. Will definitely visit again to try their thalis.

Overall experience was excellent. Fish thali was so good with best price. If you are looking for Pure Konkan Sea food, I'll say Just go for it. You'll find good variety at good price. 4.0/5❤️

Excellent restaurant. Tried the fish thali. It was excellent for the price. Definitely one of the best place for sea food in Nashik. They serve veg dishes as well.

It is the best place in Nashik to go out for sea food.
Don't miss out on their Prawn preparations and the tasty solkadhi is a must to go with the food.

Food was great ... tried all the types of fish available ... fast service irrespective of staff shortage and heavy foot fall ... a must visit for fish lovers ... When u plan ur next visit to nashik for the wine dont forget this malvani food joint...

Went for dinner today. Ambience is not good at all However the staff was friendly. Food quality was good but the entire restaurant is not hygienic at all. IT IS VERY UNHYGIENIC. Cost is medium, not very high and not cheap either.
Joshua Newman
This is an amazing place beats my previous review of mutton thali of a previous restaurant I rated before. The mutton curry at this place was not just spicy it was full of flavours, they serve two mutton curries one the malvani style with coconut and the other is mutton malasa without coconut and both have flavours that can be distinguished. The egg bhurji served in the thali is the final nail which seals the thali with flavours. The fish dishes are also amazing, the bombil is to be tried .The saulkadi was average as I have had better. mutton lovers this is the place in Nashik

Good food. Good pricing. Family and friends can all come here. Sober crowd. Friendly accommodating staff. Seafood is fresh and unique dishes served.
Harshada Shewale
Food: 4/5 for non veg but 1/5 on veg.
Veg food here is terrible: the papad was too salty and the paneer tikka was terrible.. Instead of tandoor it was fried and super oily... The vegetable angara curry had no taste and was oily again. There were no vegetables in it either.

This place is know for the seafood and that's what you should eat. The grilled pomfret was good and so was the fried bombil. The chicken maratha curry was decent but salty.

Ambience 2/5
The downstairs open seating is okay but the upper AC section is so seedy and cheap...
Anshul Dashore
Good food | Good quantity | Simple place (in terms of ambience) | Super-quick service | Do try Veg.Koliwada Masala and butter milk (very refreshing) | Pocket friendly :)

Extremely poor quantity and quality. Overhyped and overpriced place. The seafood is not only priced exhorbitanty but it also lacks good taste. Also some of the staff was rude and uninterested.
Merwyn Dsouza
This place comes highly recommended for its sea food. Do try their fish Thali. I am not a fish eater, however my friends and spouse enjoyed the food out here. Its has become to do place for them when in Nashik :-D
Ashok Roy
I was recommended this place by the client and also the hotel manager.. I thought that let's give it a try..how good it can be..Being from Kolkata, I really doubted that I would get good seafood in Nashik..and how wrong was I...

It's a small place with open sides, and fans .. there is an AC section which I didn't visit. I ordered the regular fish thali which had Bombyl fry (in Calcutta we call it Lote), Surmai fry, two fish curries and rice and solcudi..the bombyl fry was crispy outside and soft inside... felt heavenly.. the Surmai fry was also nice..the two fish curry was Mandeli and Bangada... Mandeli looked like the small version of a fish which in Calcutta we call pabda. Both fish curries were very nice. The cocum sherbet accompanying the meal made it a gratifying lunch.

I liked the food so much that I returned the next day and had bombyl fry and pomfret curry with rice.. the pomfret curry cooked in Malvani style was very good..

A very good recommendation for any seafood lovers...
Ashish Pawar
One of the best place for seafood in Nashik.....This place is quiet and is really pleasant if you want to have some family time....

Coming to the seafood🐟

We had Crab soup which was better than what I expected ....it left a slight ginger/garlic taste at the end...

In starters we tried Bombil fry, Surmai king fry and Mandeli fry all were nicely cooked...had a proper crish to it....

You might get confused looking at the menu thinking what to order....after lot of confusion in the maincourse we went for
Malvani prawns curry : it had proper malvani flavour...had descent amount coconut milk puree to it...

Surmai curry....this dish certainly lacked something....it felt as if it was half cooked...

Anyways, this place is not expensive at all...if you are looking to havd seafood in Nasik...I would recommend you to visit this place....
Vaibhav Vikas Chaudhari
One of the best food you can taste in Nasik. Have been there twice. Have tasted mutton thali, surmai fry, baingan bharta and bhaakri. One word to describe this restaurant - "Awesome".
Manju Modiyani
If you are in Nashik and want to have seafood, this the place you should come to. We tried Surmai King Fry, which was delicious and really fresh, crispy on the outside and really well seasoned. The inside could have been a lil bit moist but that wasn't a deal breaker. The Prawns Koliwada was good too, very soft and succulent on the inside with a lightly seasoned crust. The Rawas Tikkas were good too, very juicy and fresh. These were the tonight's favorites.

The chicken starters were mediocre though. We tried Chicken Cripsy, which was average and wasn't as crisp as you would like it to be. Chicken tikkas were a let down. The marinade was delicious but the chicken chunks were too big, overcooked and chewy. Solkadi was not that great. Just tasted of overly spiced coconut milk. It lacked seasoning and the typical tantalizing sourness from kokam.
From what I could see, I think I will stick to just sea food starters the next time I visit. The fact that their fish doesn't stink is impressive. Good place only for fresh seafood.

The staff was courteous and helpful in deciding the order. The ambience is simple and the place is spacious and neat.

Good food enjoyed solkadi the preparations were very tasty service was prompt . preparations were all very fresh the rotis served were hot and softkeep it up
THE BAKASUR
Hotel Radhakrishna – the ultimate Seafood speciality restaurant in Nashik. This place serves some really amazing fish fry dishes and fish thali’s in the town. The restaurant is located in one of the bylanes in Satpur, so its suggested to use google maps to reach the place. The place serves chicken, mutton and fish dishes, but over the years I have realised that fish is their only strong point with other dishes being well below par.

The restaurant is quite old and does not have much interiors. It has a Non – AC dining space with around 12-14 tables spread across the small area. It can get quite hot to sit here during summers. All the fishes are fresh, so that’s a big plus point of the place.

In starters, you should try the Crab soup, prawns koliwada, pomfret Tandoori, surmai Tandoori or bombil fry. The crab soup is really amazing. The Tandoori fishes are lipsmacking, with the flavour of the masala going through the fishes and the masala outside the fish is also quite tasty and people who love spicy food shall really love the Tandoori fish here. Bombil fry is one of the classic dishes and this place does total justice to the dish.

In mains, if you have good apetite after the starters, then fish thali or the pomfret thali is a great option. The thali consists of 3 chapati’s, rice, fried fish, 2 fish curry and solkadi. The thali is really tasty, with the dish having the malwan flavours in it.

Few of the negative of the place are that hygiene is not quite high and the service is quite slow. Its impossible to enjoy your food here during summers due to the heat.

Overall a good place to enjoy fish items at a reasonable price.

Note:

1) Cost for 2 people - ₹700 - ₹100.

2) The place has huge space outside the restaurant, so parking is easily available.

Instagram – thebakasur

Snapchat – tarang502.

Cheers!

Very average stuff...over rated joint.Firstly over priced and not VFM.They screwed up a simple dish like a veg dal khichadi. On the non veg front bombil was good though small in size.prawns also were just okayish. Overall an average or below average 0lace to eat.

Seafood is their speciality. And only when I have that on mind, visits here are planned. Not the best seafood I have had but there has been nothing to complain. When it comes to seafood freshness is paramount and that has never been compromised. The ambience, pricing and service is fine too. No other name comes to my mind when it comes to the Nasik seafood scene, so I'd say go check out this one.

This place is very much popular in the city just for Sea food !
Located a lil away from the core part of the city.. but all visits to this restaurant have been worth it!
Fresh Sea food.. and it tastes delicious too!

Other nonveg items like chicken and mutton are okay! If you want to have food other than seafood.. then you can find better option in the city!
Ambience is good !
Last 2 times I felt that the service was a little slow them usual.. overall a good place !
Heard a lot about its food from the locals .. Sadly nothing is special about this place .. Firstly located in a dead end the place doesn't have a good vibe ..

Ambience is functional and has a AC family room ..
Food is also average ..
We ordered tiger prawns but all they good day is that tiger prawns are smaller due to the rains .. Hahahahahahhahahahahah

Pomfret fry .. Not an impressive size .. Tasted kinda nice

Chicken masala : no taste to the masala just spicy ..

Overall average experience

Cozy, well lit place with various seating options ( AC and Non-AC.) The ambiance is soothing. Service is excellent and quick. Food arrived in almost no time and didn't hold back on quality either. The Tiger Prawn Biryani was brilliant and a must have ( Costs only 300 rupees. P.S. Broke Bachelor Life.) Serves a select variety of Alcohol too. Nice place to lay back and chill if you're not looking for something snazzy.

I visited Nashik on a business tour and was bored of having meals at the hotel I was staying at...I found this place and had Malwani Fish Thali. This place has got amazing sea food away from Mumbai. Good ambience, friendly and prompt service as well.

Good ambience and friendly staff! Food was decent, good quality and good quantity. You even get beer here. I had ordered the special fish thali. This thali had one fish fry of your choice and two types of prawns curry with rice, chapatti or bhakri and solkadi.

This place is bit inside away from main road. Maharashtrian food is nice. Even vegetarian food was surprisingly nice. Staff is nice and courteous. Good place to have food at Nashik.

Till my last visit, I always found this place a great one to enjoy seafood. Good taste, good service, costly though.. Last time we ordered a Butter pepper prawns and they gave us a Garlic filled prawns dish. It was awful..told the steward too..otherwise it's still a good place. They should make the dishes less oily though..

This place is for seafood lovers the uniqueness is the mother and son owners hand pick the fresh desired seafood as per choice and observe the entire process till it comes on ones table. I'll like to visit the place again n again as the experience is home-made food.

One of the oldest food joint to give fresh fish in nasik..
Around 15 years back when Nashik did not have good places with Fresh fish dishes this joint was pioneer. Now that we get fresh fish everywhere the popularity of this joint has decreased..still it serves good food and ambience is also ok..

nice location ambiance and service. Prawns fry is a must try in starters for perfect start to your dinner. Coming here for the third time now...

Finally we found a place in Nasik where the food was a delight...seafood was awesome...pomfret, surmai, prawns were fresh and tasty. Even the chicken thali had yummy gravies and well cooked chicken. We ate the special fish thali with the rice bhakri. Forgot to take pics since we were so eager to eat.
I must say I'm impressed!!!!

Had ordered prawns curry handi pomfret tandoori bombil fry and rice bhakri. The food was excellent..all the dishes tasted nice.

The worst part the salad had a cockroach in it. This was a major let down for us being quite regulars here.

Need to look up at the quality of food they give.

Hotel Radhakrishna is an ideal place for sea-food. I went here with my family for dinner last night. Convenient location ,peaceful ambiance and comfortable seating are the USP.
1) They have good varieties in soup. We had chicken Manchow soup. It was thick ,well cooked and a tinge of garlic and ginger gave it a distinctive taste. Full marks!
2) For starters we had Prawn chilly, prawn fryand mandeli fish. Prawn chilly was delicious . Capsicum was more than required . Overall the dish had a zingy flavour. Prawn fry was delicious and crispy. Mandeli was fresh, well cooked and crispy. Lovely start for a tantalizing dinner!
3) Chicken Handi was our next order. They offer you Malvani and/or Maharashtrian Cuisine along with choice in the curry type.We ordered Maharashtrian ,spicy, thick curry. Exceptional taste! Wonderful blend of all spices. Chicken was well cooked. Amazing taste.
4) Solkadhi and ice cream ended our experience on a high.
The staff is very courteous. The owner ,personally, makes sure every customer is satisfied. Service is quick. On busy days you might have problems finding a parking space. Most of the times there are long queues. But it is totally worth the wait.
I had a delightful experience here. One of the excellent places in Nashik for sea food. A must visit!

Buried deep into otherwise quiet lanes, im surprised how popular this place is. They say this place is famous for malvani, I barged in with a family of semivegetarians (except me). We asked for kaju curry, baingan bharta, egg curry and prawns curry for mains which all were good in taste and quality. Soups were good too. Masala papad was mini sized. Service however was a major flop. Except bharta and soup, whole menu came in cold. We asked the manager who sent in our remaining food for heating. Waiter dint bring back one of the curries. :-/ Solkadhi was a disaster. Staff was courteous, but had no control over the situation. Probably, couldn't handle the weekend crowd. In all, good food - not served well.

Good but not that great! Fish is just okay. Food is overpriced, as per the quality and ambience.
The Place seems to be a bit overhyped!!!

Ambience isn't that great however dining is spacious. Food was good however service provided here took the experience to the next level. Highly recommended!

Tucked away in the industrial areas of nashik this place is like a hidden jewel.
Famous mostly for the fish preparation.
The dinning is spacious and the service is good. Surrounded by beautiful flower plants from all side, it provides a clam and soothing place to dine and enjoy the company with you.
Some dishes are poor but the extremely good dishes hide those fact. This is by far the best tandoor fish I've had ever.
Ambience 10/10
Service 9/10
Food 10/10
Value for money 9/10
Situated in the industrial area of Nashik. Not a very fancy ambience here. The place has it all when it comes about special malwani cuisine. And the seafood; the quality is just superb. They don't just serve you the best preparations but also the the freshness of seafood is considered of utmost priority.

I left at 5 AM for Nasik via NH50 with only so much as a cup of milk in my belly and after 6+ hours of non-stop driving, sore feet was the last thing on my mind. I decided to hit the closest restaurant with a decent rating and reviews suggested that seafood was good here, so I decided to give it a try.
The restaurant is pretty basic with outdoor seating so the absence of air conditioning in April was very, very apparent. But the promptness of the staff and the turnaround time of food-to-table delivery made up for it.
So I called for Bombil Fry (fried Bombay Duck) and Prawns Koliwada to start with and followed it with a combination of 'tandalachi bhakri' (a rice-based bread indigenous to the western coast) and Crab Malvani Masala. The Prawns Koliwada was the best I've had outside of Sion-Koliwada (the birthplace of this dish) and the Crab Malvani Masala was a rich, thick and dark, flavorful gravy that was soaked through the well cooked crabmeat. The fried bombay duck was average. And like every true-to-the-bone Konkani (I have Konkani DNA, my grandmother is Konkani), I ended the meal with Solkadhi. It was the real deal; certified authentic stuff.
All in all -
Food - 4/5
Service - 4.5/5
Ambience - 3/5 (no a/c a huge letdown in peak summer)
Value for money - 3.5/5 (the portion sizes were depressing)

I'd recommend it to anyone who's in the neighborhood and is looking for good seafood.

On our trip to Nashik, we visited Radhakrishna on Saturday afternoon for lunch. Unless you are a local, it is difficult to spot the place. Tucked away in the MIDC area surrounded by warehouses, industries, you may not get much help with directions but thanks to Google maps, we managed to reach the venue (Search for Hotel Radhakrishna, MIDC Nashik). There is ample parking available near the hotel.
The hotel has a simple, no frills ambiance and is frequented by businessmen and locals alike. The place is clean but there were flies flying around our food which could be due to power cut on the day of our visit (No fans).
Over the last decade that we have been frequenting Nashik, Radhakrishna by far serves the best seafood in town. This time around we ordered for Promfret thali, fish thali, prawns thali and bombil fry. The thali comes with a large serving of fish/ prawns fry, 2 different curries, rice bhakri/ chapati/ roti, rice, solkadi. The Bombil fry was very crispy n so was the prawns fry. While the promfret served was nicely cooked, the mandeli curry was a bit too tangy for our taste. This place serves one of the best solkadi we have tasted in the restaurants across Mumbai n Nashik. Our bill was around 1800 bucks which in my opinion is good value for money and worth the effort to reach the hotel.

We will keep coming to Radhakrishna for as long as we make trips to Nashik. Hats off to the mgmt of the hotel for being able to maintain the quality standards of the hotel year after year. Cheers!!

Must try: Fish Thali, Prawns Fry, Bombil Fry

This restaurant is the one stop place where you get the best sea food in town!! With a very humble and modest ambience, the place is usually jammed with industrialists on the weekends so it's sensible to go a little early. They are a little pricey but who cares when they serve lovely food with a great service. It is a paradise for your tum tum. Do try their 'halva' fish. Its preparation here is very unique and melts in your mouth.
