Review Shree Purohit's Thali - Nashik

Viraj Khandekar
Overall satisfaction of food, ambiance and locality. Great service and polite staff for serving. If you're too hungry and can't decide what to eat, Purohit thalis gives a wide variety of food and desserts to your liking.

One of the best veg restaurants that I ever visited! The owner himself comes to your table & ask “hows food?” 5/5 for Service & taste is beyond awesome! Do visit if you are planning for Nashik !

One of the best unlimited veg thali restaurant in Nashik. Its the same Purohit thali restaurant that was prior at Suyojit Sharanpur Road. Food quality, preparation and taste is very good and reasonably priced. Restaurant is clean and hygienic. Staff and owner are warm and friendly. Best option for anyone looking for a good veg thali.

Purohit Thali is a great place to eat. The restaurant looks pretty and comfy, which is good for a relaxed meal. They serve a really tasty thali with many yummy dishes for everyone. The staff is friendly and makes sure you have a good time. You should go there, whether it's a special day or just hanging out. It's a nice place to eat, and I suggest it! But I Can say one thing is If you’re the person who loves Desi Spicy Food then some dishes may disappoint you.

If the queue outside the place on a weekday past lunch time was anything to go by...we guessed this place would be good!! And it was!!!! We had a 20 min wait because of the crowd that was being fed inside!! And when we got our chance...the tables were cleanly set...and the dishes began to flow...one by one the waiters moved to an almost choreographed flow...and started adding stuff to the vaatis. Cabbage, potato, two types of dal (including the sweet gujju dal), sweet dahi kadi),...all unlimited, including the hot small rotis...ending with hot rice and ghee...and the dessert (we got mung dal halwa!!). As we Indians would say, it was a real "Paisa wasool" lunch...and a lot more!! Two hours later and I am still feeling stuffed!! Great food... served by very hospitable staff...! The huge crowd and the wait was the only little negative!

The restaurant's decor and setting create a perfect blend of comfort and elegance, making it an ideal place for a relaxing meal. The thali served here is simply divine, with a variety of delectable dishes that cater to every palate. The attentive staff adds to the overall pleasant experience, ensuring you feel well taken care of throughout your visit. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual outing, Purohit Thali's ambiance will leave you wanting to come back for more. Highly recommended!"

Reletatively medium place. Good ambiance.Good food and good service. The owner personally attended each guest and offered some special preparation. Thali is the only option, which is worth to try.

One of the best Thali’s that I ever had. It typically gave a home food feeling with a top notch service and quality. The owner personally used to ask us for also served some special treats during the dinner. The variety is great and the taste is absolutely delicious. Overall, the hospitality and the hygiene is best so would definitely recommend if you are looking for unlimited veg thali with top notch variety , hospitality and good hygiene.

Food is of great quality. Taste is decent too. Curry and the Sweet Dal was incredible. Rest of the Thali was okay-okay. When I visited, the 3 sabzis were Palak Paneer, Chavli, and a Potato sabzi. None of the Sabzis tasted good. The chutneys were really tasty especially with the cutlet & dhokla. Deserts were good.

Nice Gujarati thali restaurant, you will find ample parking around the structure of the restaurant. Their service is pretty good. The simple food you get here is not heavy on your stomach. I keep going to this place. For lunch they had aaloo sabzi, bhindi, one more sabzi, 2 types of dal Gujarati and normal, white kadhi, dhokla, puri, chapati, salad, 3 chutneys, dahi wada, unlimited chaas. what more you need!!

This place was introduced to us by our driver for the trip we took to panchavati...it's a pure vegetarian restaurant which subtle ambience..They are famous for their amazing Gujarati Thalis... They begin to serve with salads and yummy chaas. Within few minutes you will have a thali full of food. This plate which surely take your palate to a taste ride ! It's 199 per plate.. Totally worth it.

We were on our way to Sula and I spotted this place just in the nick of time. We had decided to have lunch on the way. I saw lot of cars parked outside this place so I guessed it must be a popular place for a Sunday lunch. And I was right. The place was crowded and we had to wait for about 10 minutes. And then we sat down and one by one the thali was filled. I loved each and every dish. They were serving undhiyo. Usually I don't like this vegetable but I liked it here. Even the simple potato curry was very tasty. The staff was polite and attentive. The manager came and asked for our feedback and we were informed undhiyo is available only on weekends. I was glad we stopped here as we left this place fully satisfied.

Shuddh desi, homely, served with love food is what you get here no arrogance shown even if waiting for hours is there. The owner also serves you and graciously asks for things you need. Total value for money. I like dahi bada and undhiyo here. Rest for you to decide.
The Fussy Foodie
While visiting Nashik I took the opportunity to have a typical Gujarati thali.

The food here was simply superb we had a potato subji, palak paneer, dhokla, Dahi Vadas, khichdi, khaddi, chapattis, lentils and a sweet yogurt.

All of the dishes were delicious - subtly spiced with delicate flavours coming through. The unlimited chapattis were super soft and hot layered with ghee. Of course with such a variety of food on offer it’s difficult to zone in on one but everything was genuinely excellent and great value.

One touch that made the difference was the fact that the owner was extremely visible, wiping tables, guiding guests and ensuring that everyone was happy. A very personable gentleman indeed.

The restaurant was heaving with a waiting time of about 20 minutes but despite all of this the quality and service was spot on.

In summary - a good restaurant and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I went looking for the hotel purohit yatri yesterday. But to my surprise, i came to know that it's closed almost a month ago. No updates here on Zomato.
The only branch they have is one near passport office at andhashala. Experience there was mixed. Taste was okay. Had very limited range of food items for a typical Rajasthani/Gujarati thali. No bhakri, only one sweet (limited), no khichda, only rice. Sabji too were limited (3), out of which one was typical batata rassa. The price though was 260/-. Didn't expect such a steep price for the limited range of food.

Very nice and clean hotel with authentic gujrati tasty food. Thali consists of various items with original taste of gujrati food. Food is served hot and quality is really awesome.Service is also very nice. Overall a very nice hotel to visit with your family and friends.

Good, hygienic vegetarian thali. The manager pays special attention to its customers. Good service with smile. The khichdi is a must but is only available for dinner. They also have the parcel service available but u need to collect it personally.

This is just what the Nashik was lacking, an authentic Gujarati Thali. Ambience is good. Restaurant is clean. Very down to earth staff which guaranteed good servicing. Eat as much as you can Thali. Gujarati delicacies were mouth watering. The menu is never the same. On Sundays you get Dahi Wada, which is one of the best in Nashik. You can choose from upto four deserts. The fruit salad in desert is THE BEST. It is so good that one will not be satisfied with just one.
Bottom-line: If you want authentic Gujarati delicacies with the option of unlimited quantity but without making a sacrifice for tastebuds, this is the place!

Quite a budget friendly Gujarati Thali where each dish has a distinctive taste not usually found with quite a few prominent thali destinations.
The roots and puri are quite soft and fluffy and not oily.

Recommended for a quite and lite dinner post the vineyard surjon
Farida Pithawala
Food tasted good but nothing really outstanding. The approach is too substandard and one feels like walking away the price was high for the number of items served in almost the same amount restaurant called rajbhog on college road serves a greater variety and tastier food
Sharad Damani
Good vegetarian food ..thali meals.. Gujarati plus marwadi mix food . A few items of maharatrian would have done wonders on the thali.
Taste is nice but it could be better.

Good place for Gujarati thali...had been there couple of days ago. They serve hot roties, the waiter serving rotis puts one at a time n thinks twice before putting one.Had good experience though.A thali costs 200 bucks it's worth it.Kadi n daal was tasty.

Just went for a casual outing at nasik. This place is good wen u wanna have a brunch. The food is just filling, pure ghee preparation and gives a homely feeling. On a Sunday they serve bhindi fry in coconut, paneer mutter, salads ,papad, dahi vada, puranpoli , chas, kadi for just RS. 230 on a Sunday is worth the money and the thali is unlimited.

There is one more outlet under the name Purohit near NMC office Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan. It serves good consistent Gujarathi Thali. It has become our go to place for a simple non spicy food. Special mentions for Kadhi and Daal.
Khushbu Thakker
Had been to Nashik this weekend with my family & had the yummy thali here. The cute lil puran poli with lots of ghee on it was just awesome. The dahi wadas were very tasty & I am sure no one eat just one. The dal & the sabji were also good except the bhindi ki sabji which had more salt in it. The best part about this place is that outside the kitchen its mentioned that customers are welcome to check the quality. Appreciated their words.
Must visit this place if you in at Nashik.
