Proper Kumaoni region food experience. We went there and had dinner and although my stomach was full, I can tell you, the food was very very delicious. The owner chef Guarav Pant is very passionate about the work he is doing. The hospitality and service he is trying to bring in is commendable. I had a chat with him for around 15 minutes and got to know about his past work experience and his future goals. Very genuine person and someone who is welcoming to everyone in his restaurant. The food was specially prepared by him for us. The place is situated on the main road to Bhimtal so you will easily spot this restaurant. They have a big menu but do take my suggestion and try local Kumaoni food here. Gaurav will also explain the significance, preparation and taste of each local dish which was a very nice gesture. This place is surely a must-visit place whenever you are in Bhimtal.

Finest Place to try Kumaoni food items in Uttarakhand. It was my first visit to the cafe and I tried some of the best food items prepared with so much of love and passion from Chef Gaurav and his team. The owner is great chef himself and has been working so hard from past few years to make his Cafe a great place for all his customers to return back once they visit the place.. starting with three Kumaoni food items and fresh lime soda I also tried the finest dessert at this cafe. Hidden gem in Naukuchiyatal, this quaint restaurant serves delicious local dishes most of which I had never seen before. A good introduction to kumaon cuisine, they make excellent items like aloo ka gutka, ragi roti and bhang chutney. Highly recommend a visit here for especially foodies

Had delicious food here after a long tiring day of travelling and adventuring, we opted for the usual North Indian Cuisine, dal fry, tandoori rotis, Kadhai paneer, mix veg, absolutely delicious and as anticipated is what I would say about the food, reasonable price almost similar to what you’ll find at any restaurant, good quality. Also, this place is at a good location, there’s many shops around including a grocery shop for you to buy basic stuff.

One of the best places around Mahindra Naukuchiyatal.... If you are craving for home-cooked regional food, this is the place to go... The young owner himself gets into the kitchen and works to serve you the authentic flavours... He is always looking out for feedback and improving...

Wanted to try out kumaoni cuisine when we came to Bhimtal and came across this restaurant on Google. The food was delicious. We tried their kumaoni dal, aalo and arbi along with madwe ki roti. Also had the kumaoni raita and bhaang ki chutney. Everything was amazing and we went back extremely satisfied.

You can get Kumaoni food here.. Hygienic and well ambient... Also, you can get ample parking space so if you are driving and want to have a good meal, this is the place.. However rates are on a higher side

Visited the restaurant yesterday. Really good, fresh and hygienic food as well as ambience. We ended up eating much more than usual. The owner is amazingly warm and sweet and the they also have some locally produced food and beauty products that you can buy. Would definitely recommend you go there if you're in the vicinity. Thank you for the good food as well as the warm welcome even in such rush hours (and the beautiful plant). Really happy customers!

You can't beat this place. Hands down! The food is amazing and definitely the best restaurant in Bhimtal/ Nakuchiyatal. I must say, customer service is extremely important and these folks know what that means. It's a family-run business and they truly care about the clients, the food and the experience. They'll accommodate any of your needs and make sure that you have an excellent experience. Nimbu saan and bhatt ki chudkani are my personal favorite, but everything I've had here is absolutely to die for. Go here. You won't be disappointed!!

The food is just awesome over there and they also maintains quality as well. The service is good on the whole and the staff are helpful. I have ordered gahat ki daal and Kashmiri dum AALOO and the taste was just yummy, u can never forget. Overall, value for money. One should must try once when u go to bhimtal/naukuchiyatal.

The taste of Kumaon for sure....Bhatt Ki Chudkaani, Ghat Ki Dal and the zing ...bhang Ki chatni and Neembu Saan... Wah! If you're in the Lake District ok Kumaon this is the place to visit for great Kumaoni food Naukuchiatal.
