The ambiance was nice. A very relaxing and comfortable place. The location is quiet and peaceful. Loved the food. All the paneer dishes were especially delicious. The Tawa chicken we ordered was a lot spicy. We ordered veg and non-veg starters. All in all a great experience. Only thing - if the lift could be operational, it would be a big help for senior citizens. The chaas (buttermilk) in that big glass - was superb.

My most favourite restaurant in Navi Mumbai! Amazing mutton ❤️ cooked to perfection in flavours and in texture. Absolutely love it. The chicken was amazing too!! The quantity was decent for 4 people. Remains my favourite yet again!!

Taste of food is good. Service also good. Ambience is very beautiful with cot and bolsters ,open air arrangement and table with painting on it, all enhance the beauty of restaurant. I felt dishes were a bit over priced and quantity of food was low. The only problem is with restroom. Very dirty with slow flowing tap.

Rooftop dhaba type feel. Comfortable section for couples Tried the chicken tang talwar kabab -Perfect marination, awesome taste, less qty..i.e 2pcs Tawa sukkha chicken 6pcs, great spicy taste. Drinks are available in 30-60 & full bottle only. No 180ml packed bottle.

I have been visiting this place since 5+ years. They have amazing Punjabi food (Dal Makhani / Bukhara is MUST). The feeling to have Punjabi food Khatiya/Charpai is just amazing. Sometimes, service takes a lot of time. Plus Washrooms could be better.

lets speak about an great rooftop open air family restaurant hidden at the end of vashi, there is an big screen for entertainment and light music playing. note this restaurant is on the 3rd floor and has no lift which is an inconvenient for elders, valet parking is avaliable. Visited on Saturday evening, the owners is always around taking care of the staff and guests, lower siting for big groups and chair eith table for tows, frequently they showere an heavy mist to cool down the temperature. can do with less frequecy as it gets in all nooks and crany even the food, though was assured water was filtered. lets talk about the drinks, we ordered an LIIT, it came in a beaker with an huge straw, not the best but was gud, mocktails mojito paan flavour enjoyed it thoroughly may be a bit too sweet for some. Another round of cocktail was mojito rum bases no doubt about the rum if u know what i mean. the food, starters was Hazara Chicken, (lets get this clear the food is prepared as per order which again shows the detail to attention for the guests), it takes time and coz of this we found one piece a little undercooked except that remaining pieces were tender and delicious. followed by tangdi kabab, recommend again another tandoor item upto the mark tender well marinated and tasted great. variery of sweets to order ehich can be enjoyed after food. over all an great night.

I had heard a lot about this place so recently visited here. It was a lovely and pleasant evening. The ambiance and atmosphere was completely Desi like a roadside dhabha at Punjab, food served was completely fresh and delicious. Had ordered a variety of dishes from chicken peshwari to dum pukht biryani also starters like tawa paneer, amritsari fried vegetables and roasted chicken. And on top of it was the lassi which made our day.

This place having rooftop dining with authentic Punjabi food. Ambience was so nice seating arrangement with khat's and pillow. Open rooftop. We friends had been there for celebrating a special occasion. And it turned out really special for us. We ordered Murg Tang Talwar, Prawns Basanti and Chicken Gravy with Tandoori roti and some drinks. The best was the Murg Tang Talwar and is definitely worth a try. We were bit disappointed with the quantity of Prawns Basanti and the taste too. But otherwise it was a 3/5 experience.

Chenab is a place located near the mini seashore in Vashi. This is a rooftop restaurant and the place is well decorated and it feels like you are having a meal in Punjab😍 The food served is simply flavorful and scrumptious. Chenab is not your regular off-the-mill Dhaba but has been done in a rustic manner which gives it the feel and looks of one. The decor is desi with settee seatings, colorful silk sheets everywhere, and tall steel lassi glasses. However, what makes the ambiance spectacular is its view, overlooking the sea which is perfect to have booze right there. Coming to the food there tandoor items were just perfectly grilled making us drool. The chicken dum biryani was also nicely served in a sealed clay pot. The one thing this place is lacking is the cleanliness issues they have to deal with coz it’s an open rooftop restaurant so there’s always dust getting accumulated. We also found some insect near our table which we informed but they didn’t respond much stating the reason that it’s an open area. Other than this incident the food was pretty good. Valet parking is also available here.

Really great ambience and great biryani but with biryani they don't even give raita or something like that and me if ask for it they say you have to pay extra for it which was a bit different as I have gone a lots of restaurant and each of them have given raita with biryani but Chenab don't do it.. Chenab is located in vashi near sagar vihar . It has amazing non-veg and sea food. The environment is quite good. The setting of tables , chairs, etc is really very attractive and is in a punjabi style.<br/><br/>📍Starters we had- tawa mutton - One should really try this dish if a person is a mutton lover. The mutton was very soft and was cooked well in a amazing masala. <br/>♦️ Prawns tawa fry - The prawns were properly cooked on a tawa and the taste of the marination was really good<br/>♦️malai seekh - It was a chicken dish and was really very tasty and chicken was tender.<br/><br/>📍 Main course we had <br/>♦️ Chicken dum biryani- The chicken was properly cooked and was good in taste. The rice were long and were quite tasty the masala's they used were delicious.

Been waiting here for more than 2 hrs now, worst management of crowd! No token system, no first come first service, spoils the mood completely! Waiting on the road with mosquito bites all over. Very bad experience! They really need to work on space and management and bookings.

Food was very tasty but it came cold. Server did not respond when we asked him why the food was cold but then manager was helpful. If you are in Vashi this is a must visit place for punjabi food. Service can be better.

You can go for the best north indian food in Chenab. They play very nice soft music so a lot of people come here for drinks after office and spend a good evening.

Tried from this outlet few weeks back. Really love the quality of the food and how beautifully they served every dishes. It's a bar cum restaurant. So they have a wide range of alcohol and cocktails. Totally love the arrangements. Food i had tawa mutton biryani, really enjoyed every bite of it and lastly I had thandi kheer. Kheer was absolutely too good. Would love to visit this place again and again.

Called up the restaurant to book the place for a party, but the guy answering the call did not know anything at all and kept saying that we should talk to the manager. The manager was not at the restaurant and did not even answer hod phone in spite of calling repeatedly. On calling up the restaurant again, the guy answered saying we can only talk next day in the evening to the manager. But the manager does not take any calls. No one seems to know anything

Pathetic !! An old unkept building , fine! You move ahead climb four floors with difficulty to be treated badly by a rude unwelcoming uncle taking orders . Bad or worse service , staff is least bothered I went for the second time , one out of 15 waiters took my order while the others themselves sat on neighbouring chairs , we ordered food with the help of least interested staff and waiters , they treat you pathetically. Food was usual infact sad , there are better places like highway break in Navi Mumbai to avoid the torture. Impolite rude staff , mosquitoes ,bad bad food , unkept and untidy pillows , an abortive effort towards creating that dhaba feel, . The only good part is the lassi. After all that torture you bid adieu a pathetic least interested staff and stray dogs as you exit on every floor. Pathetic experience , DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE.

The staff were really late and impolite with service, the ambience was good but very congested space. The vegetarian food wasn't good but non veg was exquisite.

The service by the staff and even the person who is taking order is worst. They didn't provide us lemon and gave an excuse that it is not available. Where else they were serving it to other tables. And the worst was yet to come. They provided the hand bowl without lemon.. which was not at hot.

I went to the restaurant after a long time and this time it was with my family. The absence of elevator and steep staircase with no railings to hold on was a huge huge problem for my parents!! <br/>Even after making a booking they had to bring in a new table with plastic chairs for us to sit. There was plenty of tables empty but they setup a new small table for us! Due to open terrace and proximity to creek there are a lot of mosquitoes and I would recommend you to be covered if you are planning to visit the place. The staff does put mosquito repellent coils around but it doesn’t seem to have much effect.<br/>The food was delicious and I would recommend #MuttonChapTawa for starter, if you love spicy food. The portions are good enough and the staff do recommend good dishes based on your preferences.<br/><br/>They do not include service charge in the bill and so you might have to manually tip the server.

I had Murg Shorba in the starters and it was so yummy and different. Quantity was huge. Tawa Chicken is a must to have in the starters. It was so juicy and different. It is a nice dine place to go with family and friends. The ambience is excellent. Open terrace with sea view makes it a good place for an evening. Unique seating arrangement in the terrace. Food is good and rates are reasonable. The staff is friendly and the hospitality is good. Music is also good. Best place for friends groups and family.

Chenab located near sagar vihar vashi is easy to reach from vashi station.Food is okish,variety for vegetarians is less.Ambience is good.It gives the feel of dhaba which is roof top but the insects will keep flying around you and your food which is very irritating.They should take care of this thing otherwise staff and service is good.

The location is bit remote but very close to the sea, so that is a catchy one. It provides a North Indian Dhaba feel with cushions, takiya, long shot lassi glass among others. Very pathetic serivce after waiting for 1 hour we got yo seat no one came for order in start 10 mins the table was left with someones leftover no one came to clean it waste of time and food was just okay worst hotel ever been too

Food was awesome and specially hospitality was 10/10.<br/>One more thing i would like to mention one thing is sprinklers they spray in between.<br/><br/>Place is good but couple of drawbacks that i thought is uncomfortable entrance.. there is no life which creates issue for senior peoples to reach up. Hell lot of mosquitoes was worst thing.<br/>Cleanliness in washroom was worst.<br/><br/>If they work on this areas and mostly on hygiene then surely can rate them more.<br/><br/>But surely visit once for food.

The place is setup in such a way that it feels like you are in a dhaba in a Punjab. The ambience is good. Food varieties are good. We tried chicken and prawns starters were tasty. The main course we ordered in chicken also was good. The drinks options are very limited. Service is okayish and the waiting time for food is little high.

Very average place , ambience is quite unique , good place to hangout with family but food was average. Has a very bad Long Island ice tea , definitely avoid. Lassi is excellent, definitely try it. It was an absolute delight having dinner here.<br/>It has a rooftop seating arrangement with an Amazing Ambience , friendly staff & fast service . Absolutely loved the experience and food here . I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again.

The place is a rooftop with dhaba decor.. The staff was courteous and the food was on-time.. No Zomato Gold so that's one let down.. We ordered:<br/><br/>Chicken dum Kebab (Cheese marinate Chicken prepared in a clay pot) - 3.5⭐- Nice juicy chicken with too much cabagge salad..<br/><br/>Tandoori Chicken Lollipop (Chicken in chinese sauce prepared in tandoor) - 3⭐- A new mix and match item which was okay..<br/><br/>Tawa Mutton (Slow cooked Mutton in thick gravy) - 5 ⭐ - One of the best mutton I have had in restaurants in long time.. Great food! Rooftop restaurant with a view! Ordered the Chicken kebab platter, fish koliwada fry, lemonade, malai kulfi. Everything was just perfectly made...

This place I would never suggest to anyone. Food is good but the service is super bad. Staff is not at all cooperative. They are rude. I found fish bone in chicken kabab dish and when I asked them they said its chicken bone. Nonsense! And most pathetic part is seating. You can’t sit on hammock all time, and when that hammock is not at all comfortable. Also, initially they were not allowing 6 of us to sit on 7 seater table. So rude! Everyone was complaining about that only. This place needs to have comfortable seating plus lifts to reach on terrace fooor, cooperative staff.

I would rate this place 5 for food, ambience and service.<br/>Ambience is beautiful. Service is also very fast I would say. Coming to the food, everything that we ordered was so nice. For starters we had<br/><br/>1. Chicken tandoori lolypop: Highly recommended!!. It was perfectly done.<br/><br/>2. Chicken biryani and Mutton Biryani: Both we're good with tender pieces. Perfectly cooked and flavourful.<br/><br/>3. Paneer gravy: The best Paneer I have tasted. Paneer was super soft and fresh. I usually don't eat paneer but my vegetarian friends made me taste it. It was amazing.

Hi Guys visited CHENAB in Vashi for dinner on Wednesday night along with my wife.<br/><br/>FOOD ORDERED <br/><br/>STARTERS :<br/><br/>1. Tawa Chicken (NV) : Good taste something different with a smokie flavor in it, but was disappointed with the chicken pieces as it seemed to be quiet less and hidden inside onions and capsicums, over all if you don't like smokie flavor this dish is not for you.<br/><br/>MAIN COURSE :<br/><br/>1. Chicken Dum Biryani (NV) : Biryani was great in taste with enough of chicken pieces in it a proper dum biryani with rice nicely cooked and great flavor. One of those restaurants in which you need to order a raita separately and is not included in Biryani. Also we couldn't order it as curd(dahi) was not available, I know sounds silly for a restaurant but it happened.<br/><br/>DRINKS :<br/><br/>1. Desi Mojito (Peach) : A bit more sweet than I would have liked over all OK in taste.<br/><br/>2. Desi Mojito (Lemon) : Lemon flavor was far more better compared to Peach flavor, you could sense a soda and lemon flavor in it<br/><br/>AMBIANCE : Great ambiance, beautiful setup and a great location to have a restaurant. I wanted to visit this place since long time. Ambiance is this place is amazing , based on dhaba theme. People are made to sit on hamrock. Other next good thing about this place is , it is near to sea, so you feel cool breeze at night. Food here has touch of desiness , with so much butter and cream on dal makhni. So try dal and curries of this place.

Awesome place for non-veg lover they have different kinds of dishes all made with perfection.<br/>They have Desi AC 😀 showers water for cooling.<br/>Things to try at this place :-<br/>1. Chicken seek kebab.<br/>2. Fish starter.<br/>3. Big gaint lassi.<br/>4. Chicken peshwai. 😋😍

Nice place to spend time with your friends or family, i have been to this place except monsoon and trust me its comfortable and nice. Food is good and portion size is decent. My only concern was service time. Rest is 👍🏻
