Review Royal Rasoi - Navi Mumbai

sreedhar lal
one of the best family restaurant. The ambiance is good. I ordered chicken biryani its was great. the quantity of biriyani is too heavy, and my friends ordered Nan and chilly chicken and kerala sadhya is also available there. The quantity of the food is good and the service is also good.
Tanushree roy
Right when we entered, it felt nostalgic as they played 70’s music which enlightened our mood. The food was great, the quality was also good. There is buffet service as well. We opted for A la carte. Price for the dishes are decent. All over a fine family restaurant

Proper South Indian vibes with beautiful interior decor. Every wall had a story to tell. The food was delicious, also half portion here is like a full portion so do ask them before ordering from the menu. Overall good experience with my family, would recommend this place.
BABU O VARGHESE
One more of the best restaurants in Kharghar best for North, South Indian- Kerala cuisine. The buffet Lunch and Dinner available. The ambience is very good. The quality of food and service is very good.
ASHIT KUMAR PAIKARAY
Overall average experience. Have to ask for water and have to ask for the glasses to drink for almost 3-4 times. Service quality needs to improve. Ambience is really good. Food preparation is good. Ordered Chicken chilly dry, Paneer lababdar, Paneer Rajwada, Butter kulcha, Dal khichdi ,Appam
Kedar Bhave

Good place to visit great ambience, nice interior gives you a royal feeling. Food is good and tasty and price are reasonable, Royal murgh dish is a must try thing. Service is quite fast they don't take much time to prepare. Hospitality is fine or you can say good sometime.

Absolutely in love with this place.. Right from giving sterilized glasses to pure authentic delicious food, everything about this place is to fall in love with. The ambience is also pretty good. Also coolberg non alcoholic beer is provided over here... Kudos to the management.
KP TOWN (Bluebird)
This hotel is having a very great internal ambiance and good for family dining. Food quality is very good and having prizes in the affordable range.service is quite good and fast and both veg non veg are available here. You can also enjoy buffet here at around 500 rs you will get main course+veg non veg soup+cold drink+starters(veg and non veg)+dessert. Both card and cash payment can be done here. If you are in kharghar you must visit.

The ambience was very good, staff is friendly and co operative and service was appreciable. I ordered murg dilkhush kebab as a starter and it was very tasty and Nicely cooked..in main course i ordered rasoi murg and it was very well served and have very nice taste..it was their best dish and special dish of their restaurant so this dish have large quantity and more chicken pieces..butter nan was soft and very delicious. It is a great place for meet ups with friends and family.. They even serve u on a banana leaf if u demand so making ur meal traditional and authentic. Really loved their serves and hygiene.

**late review**<br/>First of all who want to eat north indian food should avoid this restaurant. They are typical malyali / kerala type restaurant they cook good kerala food but not north indian. The buffet also have most of kerala food.<br/>Good to try once. Service is average

I had the buffet...all the dishes were cold and didn’t seem fresh...the taste and flavours weren’t good either.<br/>Service wasn’t good too.I would suggest not to come again.
Ktushar87
Non veg kebabs- chicken was not cooked properly. Service is very very very slow. waiters don’t even keep a check for water in empty glasses on the table. <br/>Veg food was little better. (veg maratha)<br/>

So had heard a lot about this place for it's buffet and south food, and hence decided to end up here. As it turns out to be, the buffet experience was not upto the expectations.<br/>The starters weren't tasty except for fish fry which was just okay. The main course had a nice Allepy fish curry dish but the remaining dishes were just okay.<br/>The service was not great and also the staff were not friendly enough. Altogether had a pale okayish experience. Would definitely love to visit this place to try some dishes from the menu and not from the buffet.<br/>
MANOJ KUMAR MOHANTA
The worst buffet ever I had today. In chicken starter only 2 items were there: chicken paper fry(bad taste) and chicken crispy(taste good). In main course in chicken they had only one curry (forgot the name) and the taste was bad than the food street. The single soup they had was egg( because I couldn't find any chicken there) soup. Then in fish they had one starter and one maincourse I didn't liked that as well...then in veg they had kerala rice but looks like it's the low priced rice of Odisha and taste was not good. Then in nonveg only egg pulau was there. There was no biriyani and all. In sweet only Gulab jamun was there(I liked) and in Ice cream they had only strawberry and vanilla thats all...buffet end it costs 567/- per head and in barbeque nation they are charging only 630/- on monday and tuesday and little bit higher on other days. But the taste and quality services was so so better. So pls don't waste your money here go for Barbeque nation and other buffets.

I have personally been here twice. Great place with good ambience and prompt service.<br/><br/>If you are looking out to eat the typical South Indian keralite food this one is the best place and food is also good. They serve the traditional and authentic kerala food. They have special food on occasions.<br/><br/>We had ordered Malabar kozhi curry, kerala Parotha, Squid and Prawns Ulathiyathu, and Parippu Payasam(must have). Food was delicious.<br/><br/>Overal had good experience.<br/>In totality a good place must visit highly recommended.

I have visited alone there one week ago. Around 2.30 pm . Some civil work is going on front side.<br/>Then I met one senior waiter and he asked me how.many person then I said I am alone...ohh.. wait some time.... I felt bad...and I come back without having food.<br/>There are many empty seats available that time then also I felt they insult me that I am alone... So I never go there next time ...

I myself had been to this place for a buffet once so has recommended my friend for his wife b'day we wer lyk 7 of dem ordered for Chinese n kerala dishes squid, prawns, and chicken too. Everything was stale and was smelling. Din have a good time. Desert of payasaam was nice but the sizzling brownie was dry. I don't know if I am gonna go back anytime.

I been there multiple times. It was good initially but I feel the quality of food is getting degraded day by day. The taste of food which I had in first visit, it's huge difference now. The management should take an action towards it

Family restaurant with pretty good food, staff and ambience. If you are looking out to eat the typical South Indian type cusine, this is one of the best place to be there and have the quality food time! Ahh, how can I forget the Paisam that they served after the meal. It's so was really temptious!!!
Vishnu Nair
A great place with excellent ambience and prompt service. The buffet service you get in here is one of the best in town. Only drawback is the pricing of the dishes. Kerala style food is a speciality here.
Kausturi Ghosh
A good restaurant for dinner with family at Kharghar! They have good kebab options but service is a bit disturbing! Overall ambience is great and food is good.
Mandeep
We have been visiting the place since almost a decade now. The quality of food and service and ambience still remain top notch. Weekend buffets are great value for money amd our favorites. I do not know why the restaurant is so underrated as per the reviews. But I feel this is the best restaurant in Kharghar. In a place like kharghar where hundreds of retaurants keep opening and closed, this restaurant has maintained its quality, service and food taste. There is no other place in Kharghar which offers buffet. Alsk the buffet is very economical as compared to Bbq in Belapur. Best restaurant in Kharghar! Just request the management to update the LED banner lights. They have been there since forever and some of them are not working.
Mohan Amin
I have visited the restaurant few times since it's inception. They are specialised in serving Kerala cusines. Ambience is good and specious. Service and food quality is average.<br/><br/>Onam sadhya is priced on higher side which is not appreciated.<br/><br/>

Great food and ambience . One of the best South Indian places in Mumbai .<br/>It ' s more of a South oriented food . They have a special vyay of making their food .<br/>Lovely food , lovely people.
Rohan Dasgupta
This is my favorite place to go to to have a wholesome meal. And it has been so over the years. It's one of those rare restaurants that has managed to maintain its quality over time. They market themselves as 'the best of North and South' (or something like that) but I'd say that their Stewed Hong Kong Chicken Noodles and Honey Glazed Chicken are the best dishes in their menu. The ambience and crowd is sober, the music is soothing and the service is on point. I can't find any negative thing to say about this place.
Premanand Shinde
I was in search of authentic Kerala food and it was an pleasant surprise what we received at Royal Rasoi. Lovely food, lovely people, 5 star in all department.
Saideep Naik
It's more of a South oriented food. They have a special way of making their food. Not everyone can like it. You must try their chicken tandoori, which is marinated in a complete different sauce.
Vijay Kumar Thapliyal
Did not had a good experience with mosquitoes n flies around...n staff was even not very professional comparing to the ambience n decor<br/>Food
Khushbu Dange
This is good place to dine in with family.. we ordered for rasoi chicken in main course it’s the best dish I ever had.. butter chicken was a bit more sweet.. they should work on butter rotis they were too thin and not soft.. chicken manchurian and chicken malai tikka was lovely .. all’s sweet ends with sizzling brownie ... you just need to be patient for your orders
Vimal Sreedhar
A place where a malayalee would go when Kerala food is missed in Kharghar. Good to see lots of traditional Kerala food items in the menu, but I can’t say the food is awesome, rather would say fair. During one of our visits at lunch time we noticed the fish they serve in the buffet wasn’t fresh. Just a flag there.
Poojan Dogra
We went here after a movie.<br/>A friend had already visited the place. I have seen this place and I thought it's authentic Rajasthani but this is like a South Indian restaurant but it also has other cuisines.<br/>We ordered Paneer Musallam, Kerala Parota and Schezwan Fried Rice.<br/>Three masala papads were ordered as starters.<br/>So Idk why they got two huge papads in one plate and one seperately. That was disappointing.<br/>Then the Kerala parota's were small and priced at 35 each.<br/>On ordering roti later the size was as small as my palm.<br/>The rice was not at all Chinese and low on salt.<br/>While clearing tables the person didn't even get a tray and just picked and spilled few things on the table itself.<br/>Didn't really appreciate the service here.<br/>2 stars are only for the south indian ambiance.

Royal Rosai at Kharghar is a nice place to plan a dinner with your family. <br/><br/>They were almost closing down but showed a good gesture by welcoming us. Appreciate it :-)<br/><br/>We ordered only a main course. Paneer Jalfrazi,  it was too spicy but taste was good as no sugar added, Dal Makhni again good in taste, Aloo gobi masala was good. <br/><br/>In totality, a good place to visit but need to have a quick service as we had to wait for long even though we were the only customers at that time. <br/>Maybe they were above to close so were slow. Just assuming :-)

The food is amazing ! Ambience is decent until you look at the laminated tables and plastic mats which give an udipi restaurant feel. But I was truly surprised and blown away by the food. Full of flavour and very affordable. Check it out.
Manoj Nair
Food was awesome as we ordered Kerala curries.ambience was good.good place for family to visit. They have unlimited food during weekends which is worthwhile.<br/>

Onam is celebrated to mark the start of harvest season & end of monsoons. This year Onam is celebrated with heavy hearts and positive spirits as it ends the tough times, aftermath caused by recent #KeralaFloods, which was worse in last 100 years. However it’s all in the past now and only good times are expected ahead as the state of Kerala is on its way to stand back on its feet. <br/><br/>Please reach out to the people of Kerala, and extend your help in whatever way possible. <br/><br/>Like every year, this year too the festive celebrations are incomplete with the Sadhya. Here is the picture from this year’s Onam Sadhya from Royal Rasoi - Kharghar. <br/><br/>#HappyOnam to one and all.<br/><br/>Follow @grafooodie to stay updated about the good food in your locality. <br/><br/>#yourlocalfoodie<br/>#grafooodie #foodporn #foodie #foodiegram #instafoodie #foodblogger #foodgasm #foodstagram #foodography #foodlover #foodpassion #placestoeat #foodieforlife #instafood #whatscooking27 #navimumbaifoodie #mumbaifoodie #onamsadhya

Pathetic food. Found stone in one of the dish. Service is ok. Overall not a good experience. I would never ever recommend to anyone. Cost is pretty high compared to other outlets.

We ordered for kebabs, chicken chetinad n malabar mutton curry. All of the items were perfectly done and sumptuous portions of meat were used in the preparation. Loved the hospitality.
Nishant_gautam87
Nice place to enjoy all kind of cuisine . From the food to the service all were good, The quality and quantity was superb and fully worth visiting . One of my favourite place in Kharghar. 😊
Biju Pillai
A must place to go for some authentic kerala cuisine, especially for the non-vegs. Their mutton coconut fry, karimeen pollichathu are a must try. And don't leave without having their parippu payasam!!

Gone for birthday celebration along with friends who usually never compromise on food when we spend much. Really great food, humble service & nice environment and we all loved it..!!

We opted for Sunday lunch buffet at Royal Rasoi and I totally recommend this place. It has a traditional South Indian ambience and food is delicious. I totally loved their appam and chicken mapas curry!!
Sai Aditya
Nice ambience, excellent and tasty food with a hot serve...Went with family...Nice place to have a food with family....The serving takes a bit late once you order..But it makes up with the taste...All in all best place to have food in Kharghar.
Chandrashekhar Hiremath
Not recommended! Service is not up to mark. Orders needs to be repeated. Be ready for surprises like the items that you ordered are said that not available at the last moment. Sizzling brownie didn’t sizzle at all... ;)
Supriya Pawar
We love the sadhya food served here, every dish on the leaf is lip smacking. The variety of the dishes is decent, i especially like the pineapple bhaji and payasum.
Rahul Kumar
Visit this restaurant only if you have lot of spare time. The service time is terribly slow even if there is not much rush. The food is decent, nothing which justifies the waiting time. You can expect your starters to arrive more than an hour later after placing the order.
Anjan
Great food and ambience. One of the best South Indian places in Mumbai . Good quality and authentic kerala sadhya with all varieties .<br/>Sweets are good as well

D place has gud food..Bt when u r in hotel industry u shud noe how to handle all customers..Even in situation when the place is crowded.<br/>They can't Handle crowd..U will not be attended for atleast 10-15 mins. They will have no resources during peak hours. Waiters roam around..But no attention.

When we visit a restaurant, we do have so many expectations in all manner. This time when we visited Royal Rasoi, Kharghar along with my parents (They suggested this hotel based on last year's experience) we were disappointed very badly. This time they treated the customers worsen than normal road side hotel. No hospitality, no tasty food, no proper serving facility, nothing was there. My parents use to visit me very occasionally and they won't like hotel foods. The one only hotel they suggested was Royal Rasoi. After this visit they said they won't go Royal Rasoi anymore. Sorry Royal Rasoi Bye for here after.

Im sorry for posting the review very late, i was there for family lunch on 22/4/18, we were 8 to 10 people so i did a pre booking for the table, we reached the restuarant late by 3.00 pm, as the resturant closes by 3.30 pm sharp, but still these guyz very good with their service, they served us till 4.30 pm and the last order was taken by 4.15 and each n everything was excellent the service the food the ambience, though i was having meal as vegeterian but the non-veg was too good as told by my family members, sea food platter, kerala fish curry n rice, chicken royal rasoi special, everything was managed perfectly and a big thanks to all the service guyz the captian and the manager for your great service, keep it up guyz. 👍👍👍
Pranav
Coming straight to it, the food is very good, tasty. We ordered lachha paratha, butter naan, gravy and fried rice with raita. Everything was tasty. Ambiance is nice. What's disappointing are the staff, very poor response, lack in serving etiquette, can't communicate well, serving time takes way too much. Overall, I loved the meal but everything else ruined a perfect evening. Would I recommend this place? Yes, give it a shot but expect a lengthy waiting time and impolite staff response.
Vijay Gajelli
its utterly nonsense place to dine...no hospitality, staff dont have oroper management skill and power to handle the customer who come qnd wait for the reservation , i think more than serving, they need to learn management skill during the rush hour or during festival like Vishu / onam etc..people dont come to see or taste your misbehavior ..highly disappointed<br/>
Nikita Thorave
food quality , ambience, service staff overall good experience..they have buffet also veg ,non veg ..n you can order separately also..good for family lunch n dinner
Syamlal Ponnappan
Amazingly peaceful environment.Friendly staff.Great food.25 minutes standard waiting time for food from your order, may be a hiccup but great ambience would take it off....Reasonable pricing and pocket friendly...!<br/>

have been here many times.<br/>the menu is quite good.<br/>the kearla food is authentic<br/>recommended dishes are kearla parrota appam karimeen, Malabar chicken<br/>the service is very good.
Ravi Raj Kadam
Food is good not the best. Service is really really bad. This place has a potential to be one of the best in kharghar but with such a slow service they are not going anywhere. Request to the owners please increase your staff on weekend's.
Abhishek Bisht
I was bit skeptical when we entered this restro because of all those negative reviews in zomato. <br/>We went inside and asked for a table, the manager showed us the table and we sat. I asked one waiter if they serve virgin mojito, he replied yes so I asked him to bring one till we decide what we'd like to order. When we asked the guy who took our order about the status of mojito, he said they dont serve it here. Maybe there was some communication barrier. <br/><br/>Ambiance and the service of the place is great. They do take a bit of time to prepare specific items but it's worth it. The waiters are friendly, they fill your glass with water as soon as it's empty. They walk past you couple of times if you want anything else. The place also offers buffet for 567 rupees which is a fair deal. <br/><br/>We ordered cream tomato soup which was great. Then we had chicken lollipop for starters, it seemed a little bland but on adding a little pickle, pepper and salt fixes it right up. Then we ordered chicken dum briyani, which was great. They took a while to prepare it. But it was worth it. Their briyani is 10 times better than what they serve at Carter's blue. At the end, we ordered sizzling brownie, and the thing i kind of found off putting was when they served sizzling brownie, they poured all the chocolate at once. Which doesn't make a good snapchat story. Lol. <br/><br/>My ratings<br/>Ambiance 4/5<br/>Food 4/5<br/>Service 3.5/5<br/>VFM 4/5<br/><br/><br/>Would totally visit here again.

Tasty and good food available.<br/>Best place to eat "Onam Sadya" in Navi Mumbai. Good ambience, polite and friendly staff.<br/>Authentic and traditional "Kerala food" is served here 🤗<br/>Pretty near-by to Kharghar railway station.

It was yesterday!! Valentines special everywhere..<br/>Our last valentines was in royal rasoi nerul & this it had to b in kharghar 😌<br/>Every resto in navi mumbai had a huge waiting list as if all just came out to dine out 😂<br/>We dropped in this resto. Here arrangements where made for candle light dinner buffet as well as ala carte<br/>We preferred to take buffet after a long wait of 25 mins. Buffet had a limited choices but management of the resto was very quick & fast to arrange things as we entered hotel late due to wait.<br/>I would give 5/5 for staff. Their hospitality was just upto the mark even in the crowd they treated each n every couple with lots of grace.<br/>Ambience is 3.5/5<br/>Now when it comes to food i would give 4.5/5 in a very short notice without booking we dropped here. Food was amazing <br/>Starters paneer tikka & murg sholay kabab was amazing <br/>Main course we were offered rasoi murg which is 👍🏻 goan fish curry which was very tasty & mutton gravy <br/>There was a live counter for apam!! 😋<br/>Garlic naan was one which i never tasted before someting really tasty<br/>Chicken noodles were also very delicious <br/>In sweets there was caramel custard & icecrm<br/>Vanilla flavoured icecrm was yummy <br/>I consider this buffet as ala carte as we were served almost everything on table due to situation.<br/>Staff made it fast to serve almost everything <br/>And every item in buffet was worth the money & reasonable for a buffet 👍🏻 keep it up guys<br/>I would consider revisit to resto for this buffet again.<br/>A must visit for me <br/>Over all 4.5/5

Regular visitor to this place and it's branches in Nerul. Hence, decided to have Sadhya with close family friend today to celebrate the festive of sankranti. The celebration ended with bloated stomach for all of us...seems the chef must have added soda to enhance the flavour of rice.
Baharul Islam
They refused an entry just because I was alone while almost half of the restaurant was empty. I am not going there again. Pathetic and disgusting experience.
Hemangi Chavan
Worst place have ever visited.<br/>Tasteless food waste of money.<br/>Customers are of no importance to the manager<br/>Customer s have no rights to sit and have Food as per their relevance.<br/>Having asked for couch to sit on i faced a real ugly face of the manager he replied it’s for 10 people when their where no customer in just after half n hour 2police man and 2 not in uniform where allowed to sit over there and the manager himself served them that special kinda food. <br/>Never visit worst place
Athul Soori
A great place to enjoy south Indian food. Loved the chicken and the fish. Good ambience. The pricing is not to expensive. Overall a perfect place for lunch.
Foodelicious
Excellent Ambience asper their Name Royal<br/>But service sucks ...buffet is ok ok..<br/>Good wide spread..but on alacarte they cant take 35min for a lollypop to serve...common guys ur on hospitalty industry and i cant expect even apology from you...totally a mood spoiler Restaurant <br/>Never Recommend this to others..
Aayush Srivastava
Rude and inefficient staff. Poor tasting food.<br/>One of the dishes served to us was half burnt. Upon complaining this to the manager, he failed to acknowledge this and charged us for the same. He even made absurd comments like, "You have already consumed the dish, I'm going to charge you for it."<br/>
Subhajit Banik
This place is just by the Kharghar station. It is a good place which caters good Mughlai and tandoori food. <br/>By the it was a friend's birthday party so we didn't dine there the food was ordered. <br/>Chicken Reshmi tikka kebabs butter Tandoori<br/>Paneer Malai kofta Butter Chicken Daal makhni and Veg biriyani <br/>I am not able to tell you about the ambience but the food taste good especially the Daal and butter chicken. Paneer Do piyaza was also awesome
Rutuja Parab
Nothing royal in it!<br/>Tried with chicken manchow soup first and then chicken dum biryani<br/>Average in taste not at all worth it!<br/>The only good thing is the ambience which is beautifully designed<br/>They have a wide menu but taste needs to be worked upon<br/>The prices are fair considering the quantity they offer.
Abhishek Pawaskar
Once i had manchow Soup and Chicken Biryani .<br/>Soup was very very thick abd biryani was tasteless I had to add lot of salt to get the taste<br/>Don't go on name and looks of this restaurant.<br/>Rates are also high.<br/>

Heavenly experience 😍<br/>The food is nice.<br/>Will recommend Dragon Paneer for Veg Starters<br/>The ambience is good too😍 royal feeling in Royal rasoi.<br/> the sizzling brownie was the cherry on top ❤

The multi cuisine restaurant serves one of the best Indian food in the area.... When comes to service n hospitality plc proves to be the best....<br/>Ambience ws of not of that standard which it should be<br/>Overall a good plce to b there<br/>Service - 3.5/5<br/>Ambience - 3/5<br/>Taste - 4/5<br/>Value for money - 3.5/5

Ambience and the looks is good. But taste of the food is not up to the mark. If u want to have bland food like patients have, u can go to this place. This place is not fr people like me who like tasty food.

We usually visit this place while coming back home on long weekends. It's a good place. You can have lunch and dinner over here. <br/><br/>We usually order a gravy and appam here. The taste of food is good. They also serve buffet, which has a variety of dishes, but we have not tried one yet. <br/><br/>I have tried-<br/>Butter chicken <br/>Fish Koliwada <br/>Soups <br/>Masala papad <br/>Fish gravy <br/>And many more dishes.<br/><br/>It's all together a good place.
Subhasis Das
The restaurant is over priced but the sea food decent. Refrain from eating the buffet. I had found some under cooked stuff in buffet menu. I had visited this place some 3 years back and hope that it has improved a lot.
Ram
Excellent Ambience but Pathetic Food.<br/><br/>Food is a bit expensive and Confuse menu. This place is not much crowded. <br/><br/>Staff should be trained well how to speak specially serves food on time. Great ambience may catch you. Near to Kharghar Railway station at prime location.
Nimita Nair
The restaurant gives you good feels of a nicely done family restaurant! Good ambience in terms of decor and lighting. But a hotel isn't ONLY for ambience right? That's where my review starts. The Food ! We were a family of 8 who came in for dinner at around 8pm. <br/>I would request the owners/manager to not promote it as a Kerala food speciality place , because they fell flat on their face. We ordered the following items:<br/>Veg Chettinad - 2/10 (odd dark brown colour)<br/>Chicken Varthaechathu - 3/10 (burnt)<br/>Appams - 8/10 (soft and well made)<br/>Kerala paratha - 8/10 <br/>Allepey fish curry - Surmai - 1/10<br/><br/>I am sure someone completely non South Indian made all the items and so tasted like disaster. The food came in after 40mins of waiting (slow service) and most of the items were a disaster. The fish curry was super tangy but no salt. Fish wasn't fresh and wasn't marinated at all ! <br/>There was so sign of coconut /coconut milk in the gravy as told my the waiter.<br/><br/>Veg Chettinad was a blackish gravy with lot of oil and vegetables beyond repair <br/>The chicken gravy was burnt & was yet another disappointment.<br/> All hopes of finding a good place to dine kerala food in Kharghar went down the drain ! <br/>Definitely not coming back here again for trying anything else !
Harsh Divecha
I don't know why this place has so bad reviews it is a very good restaurant. The ambiance is also very good. I have been here quiet a few times never experienced any problems.
Brendon Fernandes
Been twice here for dinner so far and honestly I can't understand how so many people say they had a bad experience so many times. Whatever dish we have ordered so far has been above average. <br/><br/>We mostly tried the Kerala dishes and on both occasions the dishes were excellent. Not too spicy, juicy well marinated chicken and the parothas were also fresh and soft. <br/><br/>On the second time we tried north Indian cuisine and that too was above average. Service is a bit on the slower side but they had warned us about that from the start since they were full. <br/><br/>All in all we enjoyed the place and plan to come again in future.

The food was ok. But the service and the staff were really bad. Especially the "rude" manager who did not know how to improve customer relations. It was my first and last visit here 👎🏻

This restaurant has been around in Kharghar for quite a while now (8 years or so, I guess) and the food quality and taste has deteriorated a bit, but nothing too alarming. The staff and service was pretty timely and professional. The place is especially good for North Indian style non-veg. The ambience wasn't very peaceful though, and the layout of the place just makes you feel a little crowded. Overall, a decent place for any last minute dinner plans with friends or family.

What do I say about this restaurant, was a bit sceptical when my friends mentioned it. I was like no more buffets but this restaurant proved me wrong. The buffet was authentic & reasonably priced, the food was fresh and great, especially the fish and prawns which is quite hard to get right. The desserts were icing on the cake. Everything was delicious with a little bit of traditional south Indian dishes in the mix. A really great place. Will surely be visiting again. 🌠

We visited there on Sunday, they have buffet on weekends. We opted for ala carte.. Waiters were least interested in attending and we got out order very late. Food was good, but service was very poor.

Superb food. Nice place to go with ur Family. Staff is also quite friendly. Good ambience. Each dish has its own unique taste unlike other restaurants. Shall surely visit this place again n again

I liked the interiors of the place. If you are looking for any Kerala/Malabar Dish then this would not disappoint you. Price is okay and they also deliver.

Selling packaged drinking water at double rate...When asked why so....Manager replies..."Aisa hi hai".....No good business....People having food here need to review their bills.....<br/>

Ambience was good. Expected a better lunch, Ordered a Non veg Thali. Rice quantity was too less. Chicken was okay, could be better. Price for every item on the menu is high 😒.

Pathetic service. They charge so much but make u wait even to put cloth on table. Very careless attitude towards customers. That was the last visit. Never gonna go thr again.

One of the most saddest restaurant I have been in years.. To begin with the menu for buffet looked mouthwatering.. As we started taking prawns fry and bangda fry both had a burnt taste and salty as he'll, went on to the main course the mutton gravy had only bones and was ice cold, the fish was sour and the noodle chicken soup was sad. Over all the part of deserts, the only saviour was vanilla ice cream and gulab jaam.. However would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.. It's service to sucks big time.. I would have given negative ratings if there was an option.. It has not only spoilt my evening wasting time here hope the stale food does not upset my tummy.. <br/>

Been here twice, firstly it was for veg food, Panner Hariyali Tikka was one thing that i loved. Later i tried their non veg and can say that the North India food here is real good. Had Murgh Tikka Masala and murg Peshwari, both were excellent. The calm and soothing ambiance helps you relax while you enjoy your food.

Good ambience with above average customer service, however the food is great. We tried chicken banjara kababs which i believe were the best that I've ever had across Mumbai, beating the best of the best in business, the chicken was moist n very tender with authentic banjara taste and quantity too was good. Dragon paneer was very good served with spicy schezwan chutney which was fantastic. Chicken Lollipop was great to taste, chicken was again moist and tender n cooked in authentic Chinese sauce's without any artificial colouring. Chilly garlic noodles were prepared in subtle and mild sauce's with good quality noodles, not the cheap ones generally used across all the restos these days. The paneer used in every dish that we had was of the best quality n fresh. All in all the resto has given utmost importance to the quality of ingredients, taste n presentation, however the ratings do not do justice to the actual resto, this place is actually above an average score of 4. The rates are reasonable too. In any other resto with same quality, quantity, ambience, service, TASTE and above all the ingredients used for preparation u could end up double the amount of the bill easily

Went two times. 1st time, tried random veg, non veg dishes which was a good experience. Chicken chettinad was very good. 2nd time, tried their lunch buffet as wanted to try Kerala delicacies. Kappa, fish curry was good. Appam, chicken curry was Tasty. Rest of the dishes was okay. One negative point was some dishes were served cold which turned off our appetite. Overall, good experience.

I have been to this place more than a couple of times and I must say the rating of 2.7/5 doesn't do justice to the place at all. I don't think there would be many people who would criticize the food. It is pretty good. The service could be slow at times. The ambiance particularly is worth mentioning which would definitely allay those customers frustrated by the slow service. The average rating should be somewhere around 3.7.

I don't understand why the ratings is so low for this place they really have good decor and tasty food on the house. I though have only tried their North Indian cuisine can't comment on their South Indian cuisines and Chinese too. One of the best place in kharghar for North Indian food. You would love to re visit the place again.

We went to Royal Rasoi @ Kharghar on a Saturday. Being a weekend, they have a buffet service which is available on both Saturday's and Sundays. So it's quite crowded during the day. The buffet is decently priced at ₹540 +6% service tax. Nevertheless I didn't go for the buffet but opted for a la carte.<br/><br/>We ordered for Fish tawa fry which was a surmai for starters.I was quite disappointed with the preparation as it was a typical Konkan one. And being a north indian I prefer having a neutral preparation. It had a pungent smell too. Paneer chilly was the other starter that we ordered for. This was quite tasty. I give it a 4 out of 5. Fish gets a rating of 1 out of 5.<br/><br/>For main course we ordered tandoor tangdi masala and paneer lababdar. Both the dishes were finely cooked. Chicken was nicely roasted in the tandoor and the paneer was fresh. The preparation was also not belonging to any particular region. However in both the dishes, the oil content was on a slightly higher side. The dishes were evenly priced.<br/><br/>Coming to the service, well we were disappointed as no one really showed any interest in catering to those who had not opted for buffet. If that's the case then they should not keep a la carte service on weekends. There were no adequate hand napkins on the table.<br/><br/>The decor of the restaurant is fine. Overall I give it a rating of 2.5 and that's also only for the food barring the fish.

It was the worst Indian food I have ever tasted..I ordered tomota soup which was extra sweet, chicken kabab was bland and mutton was full of fat and tasteless...

It happened to be my second visit to the restaurant but still i don't see an improvement in the service part from waiters. The food quality is good for the Kerala cuisines but Chinese needs to be improved. I personally liked the ambience of the place and the kerala food which i had over here because of which i have rated it 3.5. Do try Kerala paratha, malabari chicken at this place. The service should be a bit fast. Hope to see an improvement in the fault areas and develop as a best place to eat at Kharghar.

One of the worst restaurants I have been to... bad quality as far as vegetarianism is concerned... don't waste your money ...staff is good but service is very slow ...

Decent buffet spread but food temperatures would have been better warmer. Fish curry is the only highly recommended dish while others were average. Soup and starters lacked flavour. Should be probably go ala carte next time!
