Review Bikanervala - Navi Mumbai

raksha Devadiga
Always wanted to try out food here at Bikanervala, vashi. Visited for evening snack bite and ordered a few chaats. Panipuri was average. Raj kachori did win my heart. Service was okay as we had to wait long to order and also for the bill. There was only one person going to all tables. Overall it was a good experience also the place is beautiful.

Bikanerwala is renowned for its authentic North Indian cuisine and sweets, featuring highly-rated dishes like Chhole bhature, rajkachori, and Aaloo tikki. While the prices lean towards the higher side, the flavors compensate for the cost. The tandoori platter emerges as an excellent value-for-money option, accompanied by complimentary Dal makhani and a butter Naan, adequately serving two people. However, the staff's demeanor tends to be somewhat impolite, despite their management of parking facilities. Despite this, Bikanerwala remains a preferred choice for those seeking genuine North Indian fare, balancing taste with minor service considerations.

Great experience, good service by Manik. Everything was fresh. Loved their Bhalla chaat. Chole bhature is very popular as most tables were seen being served that

Amazing food and service. Sania took good care of us and was exceptionally sweet. the first floor is recently developed and has good space for families... Must visit

Best place to eat delicacies from Delhi, their food tastes the same as it did in Delhi. If you're planning to eat chola bhatura visit during morning and afternoon time. Alot of variety of sweets, try malai cup it was great. Their Chaps were super soft and yummy.

Nice place to grab a quick bite. Parking is an issue, however they do have a valet service. I didnt take valet service as there was no one present. Food is good but service took a while.

This is an amazing place for typical North indian food. chole are must try. Kulcha is so awesome. Bhature also tastes very good. Another thing you should not miss is pyaaz kachori. Chaat is average. Overall best place. Will visit again

We were having a die craving for Raj Kachori and some sweets but we wanted to get something authentic and so we decided to visit Bikanervala at Vashi. The place is situated on the Main road with some for parking. We entered, grabbed our seat and looking through the menu for ordering. We couldnโ€™t resist ourselves looking at the amazing ghewar and ordered 1 malai ghewar which was around 700 gms. Truly a delight to the taste buds and the stomach. It was truly an amazing thing to experience and I tried it for the very 1st time. We kept a part of it for the end and ordered Raj Kachori and Dahi Papdi. Service is a bit slower than expected. Raj Kachori had good stuffing but the Kachori had a very thick layer and missing the taste as expected. Thick layer is not what Kachori should have thin layer so that it taste amazing, however the case was not same here. Overall we enjoyed the food over here.

Perfect Delhi food taste, but, owing to Lockdown certain items are not on menu/available. . Tase is good. . Parking is easily accessible. . Fast service, good staff and awesome food. . Highly recommended to visit this place when in or around Navi Mumbai.

The food I was searching in Mumbai is here! All the Delhi people you will get amazing chole Bhature over here. Most recommended for the quicky taste and service. So I had 1) Chole Bhature - The were not at all oily. I really loved the taste. Totally recommend. 2) Pav Bhaji - The bhaji is so damn tasty. Although you will feel the quantity is less but it's worth tasting 3) Veg Momos - If you love Momos then do try these. They serve steamed ones. The schezwan chutni served isn't too spicy but really tangy and nice. 4) Masala Dosa - The chutni served with this is a must try. Although dosa can be avoided at this place as you may find a better place to eat dosas. 5) Raj Kachori - One of the most famous dish of Bikanerwala. It's too damn tasty. The dahi used is really not sour. 6) Grilled Sandwich - It had stuffing of tomato , onion and Capsicum with cheese. It was okayish. 7) lassi - This was kesar flavoured and consistency of dahi was good. 8) Chaas - The best drink! If you are a gujju you shouldn't resist having this. 9) Cold coffee with ice cream - The coffee taste was amazing. 10) Gulab Jamun - It had stuffed Pistas. And the best Gulab Jamun I ever had. 11) Jalebi - these were kesar flavoured jalebis. Drooling all together. 12) Rasgulla - Soft and superb in taste. 13) Pani Puri - Less in quantity yet Pani served is scrumptious and can't be really find in Mumbai. Service is too good and fast.

Visited Bikanerwala with my Family for the Second Time ,as always Bikanerwala serves Aunthentic food . I always prefer to eat Chole Bhature from this here only. Raj Kachori is also very delicious. The staff is very nice & Ambience is soothing especially the Party Hall .

I have been visiting this restaurant frequently. However was a pleasant service by Ms Sania ( hostess ). She was cheerful, kept asking what we need and always served with a smile. Am sure such staff will help with a better experience always.

Went to bikanervala for basic diwali shopping for sweets and ended up munching on some basic snak items. No doubt the ambience is extremely good, but i am highly disappointed with the pricing. It's a bit too much as the quality is no doubt good but nothing extra ordinary. We ordered chole bhature which was the only item we liked out of what all we ordered. Definitely a must try๐Ÿ‘ Chilly paneer and veg fried rice combo was okayish. Panner cutlet was good. Dint liked the paneer pakora much. Pyaaj kachoori was good.

We bought Gujiya for Holi @ 600 per kilo. There is very very little filing inside the gujiya. It is like eating sweet pappadi only that to for 600 bucks. Bikanerwala stop taking people for granted.

I bought 1 plate of onion kulcha...which consists of onion kulcha, dal makhani, raita, the quantity of dal makhani is comparitively less..but the kulcha is nice
Also took aloo kulcha...taste is similar to aloo paratha
I also tried the Hyderabadi chaap and naan...it was okay
Service is bit slow on crowded days

Personally had gone to pick up sweets and food. While the sweets are good had also ordered thali to be packed. Had instructed them to hot the food and then pack. Inspite of that they packed stale food. Since they start indian kitchen only by 7 had to wait 15 min as I was early, but then they pack food which was already cold and prepared earlier. Rice weas ice cold. Pathetic and lousy service. Tried calling them but all the 3 Nos (27836633,9930674933,8850359735) are not reachable, out of which last 2 Nos Re switched off. Pathetic experience coupled with lousy service. Waste of money on the day after Diwali.

If you are a sweet lover and believe that bikanerwlaa is a brand and you will get fresh and tasty sweets then you are wrong.. Purchased kheer kadam for my team about 8 kgs and all of them were stale and smelly.. Also kheer kadam did not have any stuffing... Guess they dont know whats kheer kadam.. Highly disappointing... Better visit any local guy.....

Had ordered Chole Bhature for a weekend breakfast. The chole with aachar tasted good.ย
All items were packed methodically and the Bhature was pretty fluffy by the time it had arrived :)Their lassi is also good.

Awesome food with awesome taste. Especially recommended for North Indian snacks and bengali sweets. Original taste of North India without no compromise with quantity as well.

Only place in Vashi which I have come across that serves truly tasteful and near perfect North Indian delicacies..choley bhature, Delhi chaat and other items are all good..that being said it still has to improve on serving adequate portion size which most of the times is inadequate for a healthy hungry adult!! Need to be a bit more wise about its portion sizes and stop teasing us with too little on our plates!
Tilok Kataria
Authentic sweets...Best is kaju katli...Soft and delicious...food also great...The place is hygienic and great ambience...Should be rated amongst best places to visit in vashi for sweets

Short crisp review
Food Quality- 5/5
Ambience- 5/5
Staff- 5/5
Food taste- 4/5
Speed -2/5 โ€” this was the only issue I found otherwise I would have rated higher.
I ordered soya cheap, which took them 30 minutes or may be more to prepare( donโ€™t know what was the glitch) even can somewhat-discount that cos of rainy day. The staff courteous enough to inform about the delay and changed the order to chhole kulchA.
A reliable place to go and have lots of North Indian food with approximate same taste as you will get in North India.

Good for sweets but on costlier side given the size of it. Snacks and food are at costlier side and not of good taste.
Recommended only for sweets

I visited this place for the first time with my frnd ordered chole kulcha in which instead of kulchas they served us bakery readmade buns which were tossed on pan with butter when i asked them y r u serving bakery products give us a proper kulcha naa the manager started giving justification and finally he said that he would give me a aalo kulcha instead of that for which i dont need to pay as its their fault but at the billing counter he charged me for that aalo kulcha n upon i asking him that u said u wont charge us he was like u have eaten so u have to pay I strongly recommend not to visit this place highly over rated and making us fool giving buns insteadof kulchas n more over giving a word to customer that they wont charge n charging at the bill counter...

Pathetic pav bhaji.. Charging 180 rs for this local pav... Bikaner where is your standRd? Very poor quality. Should have premium wheat pav or branded pav instead of 3 rs local pav

Visited the place with Family for not so proper dinner and ordered some Chaats and Paav Bhaji.
Pav Bhaji was ok. Expected better from this place. Raj Kachori was good but little over priced. Paneer Pakoda and Paneer cutlets were not available.
Food is ok but little over priced.

Bikanervala - a quick bites, North Indian fast food healthy joint.
Yes, two contradictory word of being healthy and fast food, but it's d fact.
You get both chats as well as good lassi or masala tea. You can also try for their South Indian dishes or North Indian foods. But d usp of this restaurant is their sweets.
Another plus point is there cleanliness and hygienic.
Staff and services: Good.
Overall:
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 3.5/5
Service: 3.8/5
Price: 4.2/5
Overall experience: 3.87/5

So this place is right at the junction of several other restaurants.Spacious enough to accomodate crowd at one one time.So of the things we ordered Pav Bhaji and Manchurian was not at all upto the mark,we left the whole portion after just tasting it.May be it was wrong choice of food at wrong place.
Next we ordered was Chole Bhature and Kulcha chole both very filling and good in taste,it looked like a chaat place more so we ordered Paani Puri but it was just below average.Next dish to come on our table was crackling Potatoes very yumm and nicely cooked. And now the best part they have is Jalebi Rabadi its to die for.It was so good that kids loved it and we had to order twice...Overall a place where you need to be carefull while ordering as they are more good in authentic punjabi food rather than fast food.
Nirza Mishra Chopra
Do not think of any other place if u r a vegetarian and from north India. They have proper dahi bhalla not dahi vada as u would find in most places and the variety of vegetarian food is commendable. They also have great tasting sweets counter which includes bengali sweets
Heard a lot about the Bikanerwala for its North Indian chats and snacks, so was very interested to visit this restaurant. Pretty decent place to sit and enjoy food with friends and family. We ordered Pyaz Kachori, Chai, Soya Chaap, Raj Kachori and Kesar lassi.

Pyaz Kachori ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป north side flavour and taste yummy ๐Ÿ˜‹

Chai - served in kulhad and was amazing

Soya chaap - flavour full served with naan ( I didnโ€™t like the naan that much)

Raj Kachori - A must try dish ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Kesar lassi - I was expecting a good thik and malaidar lassi but got disappointed. Taste wise also not good. Local lassi are much better than this so would not recommend it.

Overall experience was good but I found it expensive.

Very bad services. Would not like to recommend to anyone. Staff takes orders and then come back after 15-20 min that stuff is not available, then it repeated again. This happened with us on 29th April. Had to leave without lunch. No one pays heed to complains here.

Mumbai has itโ€™s own food culture and it gets on every region food available here. Sambhar is sweet, kadi patta in dal and haldi in chole. Thatโ€™s awesome but if you wanna try delhi style chole bhatoore there is only one place- Bikanervala. They have maintained same taste and flavour what they offer globally.

I go there for chole bhatoore and they are 100% same always. Great taste!!

One can also try Raj kachori, Desi Ghee jalebi from live counter, matar kulcha and deluxe thali. And yes there is full range of Mithai.

Wallet parking available so need not worry about finding parking slot on busy palm beach Road

As I belong to Northern part of the country, I immensely missed the real North Indian food when got married in Mumbai. But when i saw 1st outlet of Bikanervala in Navi Mumbai i couldn't control my emotions & visited there on the day itself. And was amazed by finding the exact same taste as Delhi outlets have. When i enquired they told me that the whole staff is from Delhi only, which consisted mostly young lads were also very happy by moving to Mumbai. And serving their best. When it comes to food and hygiene they don't compromise even a bit. I almost tried everything from the menu and diehard fan their tandoori platter,Rajkachori, chole bhature, soya chaap plate and in sweet i choose paneer jalebi and chamcham (white-small size & almost dry rasgullas) as the winner.

During navratri they provide special vrat wala khana which is super duper yummy.
I highly recommend this place to everyone.

If you are opting for Dining and ample and ample and ample of time in hand, Go ahead this is the place to be.

Staff - Untrained, they don't even know, which table are they allocated for. During peak hours or unusual hours the story is same. Order takes much time.

Food: One star added for the food. The view of the kitchen looks tempting with Tikki sizzling up on pan, but every single feeling dies out till it reaches your table. As it takes too much time to serve, and need continuous reminder to get the order.

Location: Exactly on the main road, so parking issues yes. Needs to be much more careful while reversing out the car and careful with kids.

Pickup - If buying sweets, yes that's the best thing here.
Rajesh Gajjar
The chole Bhatura received tasted good but did not have paneer garnishing served in restaurant. Overall I saw a 10-20% difference in quality between delivery and restaurant serving.
Gauri Mhatre
Bikanervala is something which is a dream come true to visit where one can have sweets, snacks and fast food under a single roof, they also have restaurant part where they serve dosa and parathas good enough

Poor service quality.. Food was served very late despite giving orders in advance. The staff lacks courtesy as if they are doing a Upkar on guest. The quantity is pricing too high for a decent meal. Spoons and Fork missing. Worst experience on 1st visit. Ordered Tandoori platter the worst offering they have when it comes to quantity and Taste.
Ventilation and Ac function on 1st floor is worst. We had kids with us.

Worst experience ever . Ordered Paneer Tikka (Sizzler ) Had no taste ,very unhygienic , foud hair in the paneer and the sataff was very arrogant was not ready to accept their mistake and replace

A few days ago had a great experience at Bikanervala outlet in Vashi, Navi Mumbai ! The place is huge with two level seatings and itโ€™s not only a mithai/sweet and snack shop it also serves chaat, and all kinds of cuisines! All veg of course ! The upper level can also be utilized for parties and functions! They even serve fresh sugarcane juice that was really yum ! I enjoyed their chaas and Kesar lassi too ! A variety of chaat we ordered like panipuri , aloo tikki ( loved it) and Raj kachori ( very good) We even had their deluxe thali that was amazingly good ! They have all kinds of sweets and namkeens available for Holi and other festive occasions or just because you want to have some ( you donโ€™t need an occasion to eat sweets and savouries) and I was getting tempted to pick up the entire store !!
Great place ! Recommend!

One of the best places I have been to. Treat for the belly and amazing mithai. Must visit and great hospitality. The chaats are my favourite but the idea of sweets delivered for occasions added a beautiful touch.

We came here for chaat. Thought it would be a great experience. Never had such bland chaat in my life. Wish I could give a rating of minus 5

Best place for Bengali sweets. Dahivadas, aaloo tikki and Raj kachori are worth giving a shot. Food quality is great and taste is consistent. Paneer n Chole items are good.
Rashmi Paniker
We ordered Chole Bature and were served with *Kala Chana Curry* instead of *Chole Curry*

Our 2nd Order was Veg Pulao and we were served with Steamed rice with some raw vegetables thrown on top and when asked if they serve any Salan / Salad (onions, tomatoes with curd) with it, they mentioned they don't.

The taste of the food was weird and it seemed like there was a lot of soda in the Poori.
Sneha Phadtare
One of my favourite place. I have visited this place five times...we visited this place around 10-45pm, it was super late .. but still it was very crowded. We had ordered mango milkshake, paneer kulcha with daal makhni..best dish was Hyderabadi soya chaap.. pure Delhi taste ... itโ€™s pocket friendly place .. must visit
Food rating 10/10๐Ÿ˜Š

Really happy to have a newly Bikanerwala outlet opened in Mumbai.๐Ÿก This place is just mouth-watering which will relish your taste buds. Especially for North Indians who can enjoy the flavours.๐Ÿ˜‹
Everything starting from starters to main course is bang on!! The sweets are fresh and tasty.๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿœ
The place is neat and clean. I don't know how is the place even running when veg kadai masala is served as pav bhaji.....Raj kachori was the best thing out of all...dosa was ok....service is slow....needs a lot of improvement

Without a fail, this is third time I have been served cold food.tikki was full of salt and cold. 20 mins to get served ....a simple chole tikki.. disappointed again n again
If you have lot of time to wait then you can visit.. Service at this outlet is very slow.. For a common dish like Chole bhature it look like half hour to serve.. Food is also OK..

Amazing and authentic north indian food. I love in Powai but whenever i come to Navi Mumbai I don't look for another restaurant. The food here makes you feel bsssss khate rho,๐Ÿ˜‹ I have tried Matar kulcha, chowmein, masala dosa, chola bhatura( is so so), pav bhaji, vada pav and what not. Delicious food and amazing experience. Bikanerwala has come up with a respite for North Indians in Mumbai. It has its North Indian flavour embedded to the very core in every dish. Be it Dal Makhni or Lachha Parantha or Chaap Masala. It's North Indian's vegetarian paradise. The desserts are just out of the world. Ras Malai was juicy and Rabri would just go soluble in your mouth.

Well maintained hygienic restaurant with a varied menu. Lot of space inside restaurant to accommodate even larger groups. Service is quite efficient though taste wise food is just above average.

Ordered Rasmalai, but it had got over. The person called up, and asked to arrange for a different sweet on the same lines. He delivered Malai Rasgulla- very tasty and different from the regular sweets. Hands up.!

Decent ambience and service. The quality and quantity of the food was above satisfactory. It is pretty good for a full meal but I personally am a huge fan of the sweets here

This time, I tried an assortment of Bengali sweets. The rasmalai was outstanding as usual. I also tried Kaccha gola, sandesh and malai chaap. They were all fresh with the right amount of sweetness.

I would also recommend the jalebi with rabdi if available. Overall service and appeal was outstanding and Iโ€™d definitely recommend it for a sweet experience

This Brand from Delhi has now come in Mumbai with their two stores in Kandivli and almost Beach Road, vashi.
So I happened to taste this sweets and the one attraction in the box was these violet coloured ladoos!!!
Like anyone could easily see these bright coloured ladoos and it won't happen that one could stop from tasting them.
They have Rose flavor in it and is very tasty too.
All other sweets were great and of good quality.
Will surely visit this restaurant.. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘

The quality is good but there are a lot of other sweet shops who offer the same in a comparatively less rate.
In a competitive market you cannot keep your rates so high.
Great place and authentic tastes!
I am personally a huge fan of the Chole Bhature they serve. This place is located in Vashi and to find a parking near it is kind of tough. You'll have to walk a bit but trust me it's worth it. The ambience might not be the best but the flavours make up for that. It is a simple place with good service. The chole Bhature are amazing but a bit pricy at โ‚น185 served with chutney. This place is one of the best for vegetarians!

Worst service by bikanerwala. We have ordered 35 nos of rasmalai and also informed them to provide us spoon and bowl for serving. But they delivered without spoons and bowls. Even they arguing that we are not providing spoons and bowls as free of cost. It means if I have to eat rasmalai at your outlet than I should go come with spoon and bowl isn't it?
Worst service ever.. please do not order anything from bikanerwala.
Suraj Dinda
Best Fast food centre in vashi Palm Beach side..
variety of Bikaner items different from other sweet shops..Raj kachori was the best from all.

We got rasmalai packed today and being a north indian and complete fan of sweets, I was super excited to have it. It was sucha waste of money. It was adulterated and tasted like water. It isnt the service expected from a renowned place, a place I have visited so many times in other places and always got a good quality.

Food is too costly
Quality wise its ok
Sevpuri was not good
Imarti with rabri was average
Aloo tikki with chhole was below
Didnt like waiter service
Waiter not aware of products
Food quantity was ok as compared to prices
Regular snacks taste different because there is a difference between the flavour or recipes from North and of Mumbai. Pyaaz kachori can be tried. Sweets are fresh.
Second Favorite F Word
Rajasthani dishes are distinctly different and that's what I was looking for when I entered Bikanervala.

AMBIENCE & DECOR
Seating overlooking the streets gave a good feel about the place. We were seated on the first floor which was a dining section.
Ground floor is mostly for chaat, farsan and sweets. There is a small section with seating are too.

FOOD
= Pyaaz Kachori ๐Ÿ˜
I am a huge fan of typical Pyaz Kachori from Jaipur and that's the expectation I had.
While this just turned out to be Meh... ๐Ÿ˜‘
Filling was barely there and flavors were mild.
#Passable #Average #Meh

= Sev Puri
This is supposed to be their highlight Chaat dish. It's prepared differently with a strong flavor of aamchur. This was decent.
#Decent #onetimetry

โœ”๏ธPani Puri
I would any day prefer having street side but this one looked tempting. Fortunately, this one had the right balance of sweet, spice and sour.
#chaatlover #giveitatry

โœ”๏ธโœ”๏ธ Tandoor Platter ๐Ÿ˜€
Now this came as a surprise after a series of mediocre dishes. Paneer, capsicum, onions, tomatoes and tandoori kebabs made this a delightful dish.
That's not all, surprise factor is complimentary Dal Makhani and kucha served along with it.
#Recommended #MustHave #Yummy

โœ”๏ธ Onion Rava Sada
Crispy Rava Dosa with onions and grated coconut was a good choice. Served with yummy chutney and sambar, it was as good as it can be.
#nice

SERVICE
Self-service format at such places surprises me. Apparently, we are supposed to pay for the first order at the counter and consequent orders are taken by the server. It didn't make sense but that's that.
Service is slow.

NUTSHELL REVIEW
I'm let down considering the good name Bikanervala holds, especially when it comes to Rajasthani dishes.
AMBIANCE - 3.5/5
FOOD - 2/5
SERVICE - 2/5

OVERALL RATING -2/5

I am neutral for this place. This is big, spread over two floors for seating and eating. They have good variety of sweets, however the food menu for dinning there are limited options and those are not that great. It is partially self serviced.ย

The prices are reasonable. Service is good. They also provide Valet parking.

This is a decent place to visit
Total family place
Ambience 100/10
Food 100/10
Service 9/10
One thing i dint like about the place is you have to pay first and then they will serve you.
So for your every order you have to go pay n they will serve you that is frustrating
We had
1. Spring rolls they were delicious and yummy
2. Dahi bhale it was good but moong in it was hafly cooked
3. Chole bhature they were goood but chole half cooked again
4. Thali i recommend you this because it is really very tasty ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
5. Paneer tandoori o my gosh this is the best dish i ever had
