Review Fatty Momos - Asian Kitchen - Navi Mumbai

This is such a value for money restaurant. Order anything and it tastes really good. We ordered one starter 3 main courses our bill was less than 1100 plus they give discount on lunches and dinners too if the bill crosses ars.1000/-. The ambience is really nice. They also provide a salted ice pop for change in taste after the starter and also give a nice different welcome drink. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is so good in terms of ambience and the food. Right on the palm beach road at nerul, fatty momos is a little asian kitchen with beautiful panda themed interior and good food selection. The music is soothing and not loud. The service is really great. They welcome with big smile and welcome shots which tasted good. The food tasted good but the beverages could be better. Would love to see more options in that section. They also gave popsicles while we were waiting for the food. It was a nice gesture and the popsicle tasted amazing. Overall it was a good experience and definitely would visit again.

Amazing place serving asian food which is very rarely found. I would highly recommend the berrylicious and kiwi mint mocktails, the crabmeat soup,sushi and their signature fried rice made with korean sauce. The ambience is perfect, the staff is very friendly. Go to this place and try out something new its perfect to have sushi for beginners as well!

Great food and very courteous staff! The double pan fried noodles are a must try! And the chocolate volcano in dessert is absolutely amazing! The speciality of this place is that it gives you a very culturally rich experience with an Asian welcome drink and palate cleanser between your appetizers and main course to bring out the flavours! I'm thoroughly impressed and will go back plenty more times! 😊

Excellent food and ambience. The staff are courteous and give good recommendations regarding the menu. Even if one is intimidated by the dish’s names, they’re truly good and not heavy on the stomach at all. A great place for an family outing or a business meeting. P.S. My only complaint was that the music was loud, which was quite distracting.

Food is lovely and sumptuous. The ambience is amazing but the music isn't family friendly cause of the very heavy base would request the owner to play something more friendlier. New restaurant.nice ambience. The team makes sure they take care of all their guests. Mr. Rashiranjan is quite a nice manager. Takes into consideration the minutest of the details regarding orders placed and engages the customers to perfection.

Finding a place that serves authentic asian food and not 'desi chinese' under the name of it can get difficult when you're craving for some good food from the cuisine. We came across this newly opened place on Palm Beach road that looked very simple from the outside, and had really warm interiors like that of a small country cafe. We were greeted by their polite staff who made sure everything was served well and right on time. We were served by Mr. Sonjit who even took the effort to explain us about the cuisine and things we didn't know well about from their menu. Also, his suggestions led us to having a hearty meal sans any complaints. Before we ordered, we were served with the amuse-bouche, which was lemongrass water and spheres of fresh cream covered in yogurt. It is said to be something that's served before the guests can have their food and was a prime glimpse of their presentation. We were even given small popsicles that had a hint of mango flavour after the starters to neutralize our taste buds before we began our main meal. Here are the things we tried: Corn and water chestnut dumplings Cantonese chicken siu mai Kimlee prawn - Must try Chicken Teriyaki Sushi Roll Chicken Nasi Goreng Fried Rice - Something different Vegetable Pad Thai Noodles Chocolate Volcano - It's heavenly <3 Berrilicious - Must try Kiwi Mint Cooler Date Me - Mango and mint plus mago puree Out Of School - spicy guava drink, best to order with appetizers Overall, the presentation of the food, the service, the food itself, everything from start to the end was an experience in itself at Fatty Momos. The manager, Mr. Sahoo, was kind enough to attend each table and see if the guests like the food and was even suggesting dishes if need be. It shows how much the staff cares for its customers from these little efforts. It's now easily on our list of favourite places to eat at! Five stars!

The ambiance is done nicely. Could have been better though. The food is mainly Asian. Good in taste as well in presentation. Chicken spring roll was delicious. In main course, steam chicken with broccoli was something new I tried. Overall a good place.

We always have the sweet and sour gravy with Hakka noodles and every time it is the same awesomeness. The service is good and the staff is open to make something off menu as well if need be .

Was craving some dimsums today. Came across this restaurant and wasn't disappointed at all! The Basil flavoured dumplings were too good. And sizzling brownie as usual was unbeatable. Ambience was also pretty good. Looking forward to visit again.

The dimsum pieces were quite big, with a thin cover and a very generous filling of flavourful minced chicken. 4 types of sauces came along with it - Schezwan, Garlic Herb, Soy and Chilly Vinegar sauce. The first 3 went well with the dimsums. Absolutely value for money.<br/><br/>Veg Stir Fry - Carrot, Zucchini, Broccoli, Mushroom, Baby Corn, Bom Choy tossed in a light sauce. It was a bit bland but I love simple preparations of veggies.<br/><br/>Veg Red Thai Curry - It had a proper balance of Thai spices and coconut milk though salt was a bit less to my taste. After adding little salt it was delicious.<br/><br/>Jasmine Rice - Jasmine flavoured sticky rice went well with the Thai curry.<br/><br/>Overall I was satisfied with the quality, quantity and also packaging of the food.

The place is too good. The waiters are really friendly and the restaurant is budget friendly. Really nice ambience and surroundings. A must visit.

The best place for veg Chinese food. Loved their momos n noodles. The fried ice cream also deserves a mention. Non veg momos were ok. The staff was nice.

As per Zomato, Fatty Momos starts at 12 pm. When we reached there at 12:15 pm, we were told to wait for 20 mins. After waiting for 20 mins we were told to wait for another hour! I fail to understand why this was not informed to us in the first place! Very disappointed with the attitude of the staff while handling this matter. Probably the last time I would visit the place. However, on the brighter side, I got to experience the amazing food at Ahmed bhai's Brai and Dry!

A nice place in Nerul. Food is extremely good specially for momos and sushi roll. There are lunch specials that go on on weekdays but nothing on weekends. I hope they start something soon.

One of the best Chinese cuisine restaurants I've been too.. The food is literally amazing.. The price totally justifies the quality and taste of the food. We ordered basil based chicken momos and a vegetable sizzler.. Omg.. The flavour that burst in our mouth was just crazy.. Every morsel was full of flavour. So happy that we came here for lunch.. Nothing fancy about ambience but it serves authentic Chinese cuisines<br/>We ordered Wok tossed Hakka noodles with exotic veggies stir fry.. The taste was good.. Little less on spice content but my 4 year love it !<br/>We followed up with Cottage Cheese and Spinach dumplings.. It was served hot and tasted ok. Awesome place for pan Asian cuisine... The ambiance is so good to vibe with all the Chinese food that they serve. The staff is friendly and really on the go. Jackson made sure we feel comfortable and the service is fine all the time.<br/><br/>Coming to the food. We started with parsley coriander chicken soup. I never in my lifetime had such an amazing soup. Then we had the authentic dimsums, which were basil flavoured chicken dumpling and corn and waterchestnut dumpling were nicely steamed and the upper layer was thin and so proper. We order fier roasted Chengdu chicken which is comes in skewered. I’ve ordered twice from this place. The second time, I ordered only cuz I thought I’d give it another chance. The sushi rolls were okay. But I ordered ‘chicken Singapore noodles’ but it wasn’t even noodles! It was vermicelli (sevai). Why call yourself an Asian restaurant if this is what’s being served? No hate, but you guys shouldn’t be doing that, it’s unfair to the customer. Kindly change that.

It's a nice medium-sized restaurant with excellent food in moderate price. This is not a very famous restaurant and not a has an old legacy but quality and quantity is amazing. I have ordered one starter , one main course and a rice, it's more than enough for two. Must try their momo probably the best in entire Mumbai. Wish them a luck to be a big name. Staffs are cordial and attentive. Only two point management may take care, do little advertisement and staff communication skill.

Wow....... Loved the food. One of the best place for chinese. We ordered chicken soup, fish and chicken starters, dimsums, noodles, fried rice.... all the dishes were awesome. Sushil Dutta ( store manager) suggested us the dishes and he chose the best. It was our parents anniversay they made it special with a complimentary brownie and ice cream which was again superb.<br/>Will surely visit again.<br/>

PAD Thai Noodles - should be renamed to “A brick of noodle”. It was disgusting. Pad thai noodles delivered! It was a complete waste of money. The noodles were completely cemented, like a brick of noodles. I think they have paid for their high ratings., because the food was not even close to the rating.

Fatty momos in Nerul does look like a place serving only momos but it serves a lot of other Asian food to go with.<br/><br/>For Drinks, though they don't serve liquor, tried the berrilicious and date me. Priced moderately, drinks went really well along with the appetizers.<br/><br/>Lot of appetizers to choose from, Singapore chilly prawns were the first of the appetizers tried. Spicy to set our mouth on fire but equally good in taste. Prawn and crab meat dumplings altogether a different combination. Can be tried once.<br/><br/>Fire roasted chengdu chicken was the most favorite one of all. Fresh water bhetki braised was fish in different sizes and in choice of our sauce. Thai curry with chicken could have been perfect but a strong flavor of coconut misbalanced the taste.<br/><br/>Ended our sumptuous and mouth watering Asian cuisine with chocolate Volcano as a dessert.<br/>

This is a small cafe like pan Asian joint located next to dominos on Palm beach road, Nerul. <br/><br/>This place is done up in an exposed brick wall setup with the recurrent theme of black, yellow and white running through its tableware and decor. There is that cute Panda also to woo you with its Asian feel.<br/><br/>After we settled down we spoke to server on his suggestions for the popular running items and ordered as per the recommendation. We tried to stick to them basics though and sampled the staples and not the delicacies such as momos and baos.<br/><br/>Amuse bouche: we were quite delighted to see the flare and fun of sampling amuse bouche, which is usually served before wine to just set the mood in french fine dine tradition. This concoction came on a dry ice bed with its ethereal flow and was served in a small bowl. The preparation in itself was of vinegar, concocted with series of spices and sesame seed and had a silky pillowy curd like drop which melted in mouth. Quite a treat I must say and it very well set the mood.<br/><br/>Mains:<br/>Paneer in soya chilli garlic sauce: this was a super yum dish with very soft paneer sautéd with bell peppers and had a tasty medium spicy flavourful sauce.<br/><br/><br/>Stir fried noodles: these were a regular affair which complemented our mains well.<br/><br/>Palette cleanser: at the end of the meal we were served a mini chuski made out of vinegar which tasted of rock salt, salt, sugar, strawberry crush and some unrecognisable but delicious ingredients. Visted to this place with 1 of my friend who is also a asian food lover like me. This place serves the variation of Asain foods in their menu. I tried few of them and i.e Prawn and Crab meat Dumplings (especially for seafood lovers) , Indonesian Chicken Satay (a grilled skewers which was served along with creamy peanut sauce 😋 just loved it) , Chicken Fried Rice , Chicken Traditional Hot nd Sour soup (a perfect soup for Chinese lover with the balanced combination of hot and sour spices in it) and from dessert we had Sizzling Brownie 😋 my favourite❤️. Overall it was a decent place and service was also good.. Recommend from my side.

Ordered the Fatty momos favourite chicken which was described as "juicy grilled chicken served with grilled exotic vegetables and potato"<br/>It was a big disappointment.....we got reputation coated chicken in some gravy- no vegetables or potato.<br/>The fatty monos belly and the chicken exotic treasure soup were delicious.<br/>A bit disappointed as we were anticipating some delicious food.<br/><br/>Mr. Saahoo from the restaurant called and apologised for the miscommunication....it seems they have 3 different grilled chicken dishes. Quite a pleasant surprise....it's the first time a restaurant has called up to enquire & apologise for a genuine mistake. Usually restaurants never bother about any mistakes in the home deliveries.<br/>Just shows how committed these people are to customer satisfaction. I was here for lunch with a friend and had a good experience. The name of the place has been changed and I was excited to visit this place to try out the new additions on their menu. To begin with, we called for two mocktails.<br/><br/>• Date me which was Mango based. Mango muddled with Thai Ginger and Basil leaves. This had the pulp of Mango in it and also the flavor of Thai ginger quite evident. The basil leaves added a refreshing touch to the drink. I quite liked it and was also happy with the portion size.<br/><br/>• Out of School was the Basic Spicy Guava mocktail. However, the style of serving is really what caught my attention. A cute pirate looking Glass is what it was served in. It was refreshing, however I felt they could reduce the amount of salt in the drink. I liked that it was not too sweet and just perfect, other than the salt.<br/><br/>For appetizers, we decided to try out their sushi and dumplings.<br/><br/>~ Kapa Maki Sushi Rolls were the basic vegetarian sushi with some cream cheese. Served with Wasabi Mayo, Soy sauce and Pickled Ginger, this was super delicious. They serve 6 rolls in one portion of it. This made me happy and also I loved the flavor of the sushi.<br/><br/>~ Asian Crystal Dumplings was the second appetizer that also had my heart. The dumplings were a little fatter than the usual one. Also, could relate to the name of the restaurant. I loved it, however felt they could have reduced the use of oil in the dish. Served with two dips, one made with celery and the other with some red chillies, both were just perfect to go with the dumplings.<br/><br/>For main course we chose to call for Khao Suey. Being a Burmese dish, and one of my favorites, I called for the Vegetarian variant. It was delicious. I was amazed with the portion size they had to offer. The condiments too were fresh and given in a good amount. Overall I loved the flavor of the curry with the condiments. I'd definitely visit them again for the same curry any day.<br/><br/>For desserts, we called for<br/><br/>• Chocolate Volcano which was Chocolate Mousse. Hot chocolate is poured on top of it to make it melt a little. This was delicious, however is a chocolate overload in itself.<br/><br/>• Fatty Momo's Surprise for 2 is a Chinese dessert which had a hot and cold variant of two things clubbed into one dessert. Date pancakes that were basically fried in a multipurpose flour served with Vanilla ice cream. It was great, however I didn't enjoy the date flavor much. It is a good choice to go with if you love dates.<br/><br/>Overall, I'd rate the ambience : 8/10<br/>The food : 9/10<br/>The service : 9/10

Fatty momos scores well on food and ambiance. Butter garlic noodles and Paneer in chilly coriander sauce is our regular order. The service is brilliant as well. The pricing is slightly on the higher side if you want to eat weekly!

Fatty Momos is a small restaurant beside palm beach road. It was originally called ‘Mama Pondo’(which was one of the best restaurants in Navi Mumbai).They have introduced some new items on the menu and the prices have gone up by 10% but apart from that, it is the same restaurant. This place is not very crowded. After ordering, they present you with a dish called amuse bouche, which is excellent. The water container contains a slice of orange. I recommend the chilli chicken, chicken basil dim sum, laksa soup and any noodle or fried rice dish. All dishes are excellent. The only dish I would not recommend is the pepper lemon broth. It tastes the gates of Hell. Apart from that, you can’t really go wrong with any other dish. In my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Navi Mumbai.

All the dishes were served quickly, not much waiting time. Finding a place that serves authentic asian food and not 'desi chinese' under the name of it can get difficult when you're craving for some good food from the cuisine. We came across this newly opened place on Palm Beach road that looked very simple from the outside, and had really warm interiors like that of a small country cafe. We were greeted by their polite staff who made sure everything was served well and right on time. We were served by Mr. Sonjit who even took the effort to explain us about the cuisine and things we didn't know well about from their menu. Also, his suggestions led us to having a hearty meal sans any complaints. <br/>Before we ordered, we were served with the amuse-bouche, which was lemongrass water and spheres of fresh cream covered in yogurt. It is said to be something that's served before the guests can have their food and was a prime glimpse of their presentation. A new deli located on Palm Beach road, fatty momo to be know for it's asain kitchen serves some delectable food on the table. I happen to visit on a weekday , though scarce yet the atmosphere was lively and decently done decor were still Byzantine .<br/><br/>I happen to try a array of dishes and my favorite was the fatty momo skin potatoes . They are the their take on loaded potato with Asian vegetable filling. Tasty and filled with sweet and spicy vegetable won my heart.<br/><br/>They make dumplings which sumptuous and full filing . I had tried the vegetarian options not one but around 3 types of those and each were better than the previous ones.<br/><br/>The bar was set high and since days I had been craving for sushi however, fatty Momo's failed to kill that desire. I won't say they were bad but neither were super tasty . Quite subtle and normal to taste. My recommendation be skip the sushi and try array of things that fatty Momo's has to offer.<br/><br/>Mains were filled with confound options and there came Mr. Sahoo to rescue who suggested the vegetarian nasai goreng rice and exotic vegetable sauce. This combination was a commensurate of crunchy wok tossed veggies, mild spicy gravy and goreng rice tasty and delicious.<br/><br/>They have constraint on the drinks menu(mocktails) as compared to the food array option available. Drinks we're presented moderately picturesque to click for and subtle in taste. My personal favorite here were the iced tea and kiwi mint cooler.<br/><br/>A thanks to sanjeet who always was there to help us, explain the dishes, serve and take the order with a charming smile , thanks for the wonder service.<br/><br/>Overall, it's a charming deli to kill the Asian food cravings with their tasty Momo's, Baos, rice preparation over with friends and family.<br/>

A newly opened place along the Palm Beach road in Nerul, this one is your one stop destination for all your momos cravings.<br/>We started off with Beetroot Infused Chicken Jiaozi Dumpling and Prawn Sui Mai with lemongrass, both of them were open faced dumplings. The first one was filled with juicy chicken and a delicious ginger pickle that lead to an outburst of flavours in your mouth while the second one was a subtle prawn dumpling with a tender sense of lemongrass to it! Again what a delicacy!<br/>We also tried the grilled fish in hoisin sauce, served with veggies and french fries, this one was a fresh tender fish cooked in a sweet and spicy hoisin sauce.<br/>To end our meal on a sweet note we decided to go with the Fried Ice cream, but make sure you eat it before it all begins to melt!
