Review Neung Roi - New Delhi

Debashish Mukherjee
Signature Asian cuisine par excellence. A typical MasterChef deliverance with very polite and caring staff. They are patient , help with your choice of menu and wait period is not much. This is fine dining and one should not look for "good food with cheap cost". Such lavish environ, original classy culinary extravaganza comes for a price . But then it's well worth it. The ideal for a quiet anniversary or a blast with friends. It's one of the restaurants at The Radisson Blu Plaza in mahipalpur. Lovely experience .

It took us two months to finally make our long planned lunch finally happen this Sunday at Neung Roi Thai Restaurant at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Mahipalpur, New Delhi, India... Food tastes fresh, absolutely authentic and with distinctive flavours. Chef is from Thailand and prefers using fresh ingredients instead of packaged pastes (which are usually used at most other restaurants). We ordered following items (in attached pictures).... ▪︎Tom Kha Veg Soup ▪︎Steamed Fish with Garlic Chilly Oil ▪︎Prawns in Garlic Black Pepper sauce ▪︎Phad Thai Veg ▪︎Thai Paan (complimentary) This restaurant is definitely recommended if you like authentic Thai food.

Neung Roi at Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport mastered #asianfood with some authentic #malay , #japanesefood , #thaifood , #vietnamesefood , #koreanfood & #chinesefood . I truly appreciate the efforts of Chef Sreenivasan, GM Ashwni Kumar Goela & DO Anuj Soin to make this luncheon a true reflection of quality , service and unmatched hospitality. My star dishes which will draw me back to this place were the #tomyum prawn dumpling which in itself was a culmination of thai flavors wrapped in a single bite. The #porkbelly most probably #belgium was succulent coated with yakitori sauce felt like sweet savoury #butterlicious treat. The last of the top three was the lamb #massamancurry with #roticanai : #myohmy this says it all , rest you should visit and decider yourself . The #desserts could have been better but I am a uncharitable critic . #culinaria #asianflavours #yum #delhifood #notsopretentious #realfood

Neuong Roi is an exquisite place to fulfill your Thai Food fantasies. The menu is not run of the mill and very lovingly takes you on a culinary tour of the Asian delicacies. The Ambience is warm and replete with positive energy. The visible-through-glass/kitchen takes the Center stage. The dim lighting, soft music and centrepieces made with fresh flowers are sure to heighten your experience. It has limited seating and the option of private dining so it’s a relief from the crowded places. There is personal attention by the world class chefs to each dish. The Prawn Tempura with the ginger dip is a perfect appetiser. The prawns are juicy with delicate flavours and the ginger dip gives it an incredible edge. For the main course, I decided to give the Pork in Black Bean Sauce a try and it turned out to be unexpectedly divine. The skin was crisped to perfection and the flesh was easily leaving the bone making it a delight to eat (and did I note hints of barbecue dressing?). The flavour was not predominantly black bean though. You may pair them with shrimp noodles/udon noodles for a sumptuous meal. The Grilled Vietnamese Fish was my next main course and oh boy, it was a burst of flavours in there: spicy and tangy with a hint of sweetness. Pair them with Jasmine or sticky rice to balance out the flavour blast! Thai desserts have always been sidelined but the Chef insisted we try the Water Chestnuts in Jasmine syrup. It is a different and dainty dessert and you must try it to complete your meal. The Green Tea Ice Cream is what fascinated me and I loved the distinctive flavour they brought out without over splurging on the sugar. All in all, Neuong Roi is a wonderful place to dine-in.

One of the best restaurants in Radisson New Delhi. The ambiance was really cool and the staff was really amicable and quick. The Thai curry served was okay but the Thai prawn preparation was exceptionally good. Have to mention that the decor was wonderful. Recommended for authentic Thai food.

Great thai restuarant in Delhi. Taste of real thai food by thai chef. If you are not thai you may not understand what the menu is. It may be better if they have picture menu but No doubt about taste.

There are very few places where one can find the authentic flavours of Thai food.Neung Roi in Radisson blue plaza is one such restaurant which promisesflavours that'll keep your palate craving for more. Neung Roi had a wide range of dishes from different parts of Thailand. The ambiance is warm & quiet and the manager and service persons are delightful.

Neung Roi , tucked away in the Radisson Blu Plaza is on a mission to redefine luxury oriental dining in the capital. Combining chic décor with first-class service and a seriously impressive menu, Neung Roi has all the elements which makes fine dining best. The dishes deviced by the head chef draw on oriental traditions with emphasis on thai. The menu is long and enticing and is divided into four parts covering each and every part of thailand. The highlight of the visit was Phad Pak Krapow and Yam Tuea Plue. Try a tom yum soup between starters and main course to cleanse the palate, before moving on to the main course. On the whole the food was spectacular with exotic thai flavour and aroma. The subtle clinking of glasses with soothing interiors, spotless white linen laid out neatly on the table ,mellow lights setting the mood , masterfully prepared food and a waiter to diligently attend to your needs – this is simply fine dining at its best.Had a culinary dining experience and would love to visit again.

Straight up, Thai is one of my least favourite cuisines and this comes after trying many decent and not so decent restaurants around the city. It probably is because most places do not go beyond the regular red/green curry and some classic Thai dishes that are not that well made. To cut a long story short, I walked into Neung Roi with some skepticism. First, the restaurant itself is quite sophisticated and upscale. There is a great yellow and gold theme running through the place and the huge glass kitchen enhances your anticipation. I was welcomed with a great blue drink – “The Blue Lagoon”, which was both fresh and tasted quite nice. The cool part of the restaurant is their menu, which is “tab” based, there is a regular menu too but the tab menu is way more interactive. I was told that this restaurant is unique insofar it serves Thai dishes based on all regions of Thailand. As far as I know no other Thai restaurant in Delhi NCR does that. The restaurant has a really big menu and all dishes seem quite tempting. We began with four appetizers (really!). There was “Phad Tuea Hurong” to begin with. This was stir-fried tofu in bean sprouts and chives with soy sauce. This was the only time I would say that I really liked tofu and it was all to do with the balance in the flavours of the dish - delicious. There were stir fried prawns in ginger called “Krachai Gab Goong” and though stir fried prawns are a very omnipresent dish, this was unique, especially with the way those prawns were cooked. We had also ordered two salads, “Yam Tuea Plu” and “Yam Som – o”. I really liked the “Tuea Plu”, which was a wing bean salad. It was extremely fresh and light, just as a perfectly made salad should be. We also had s portion of a very flavourful soup – “Tom Yum Goong”. The prawns went so brilliantly with the lemongrass and kaffir lime that one could not help reaching out for more. I must admit after this, I really started warming up to Thai food and eagerly waited for the mains to arrive. We did not have to wait too long, we tasted four main course dishes, two veg and two non veg for total impartiality. I had a portion of the steamed fish with lime chilli sauce, “Pla Neung Manao” and the dish of the day , stir fried tenderloin in a chilli, black pepper and soya sauce, “Neua Phad Prik Youk”. The fish was wonderfully cooked and moist and the delicate lime sauce was fantastic. The tenderloin was so good that maybe it needs its own review. Perfectly medium rare beef in a heavenly sauce that could have been such a bad dish in the hands of a lesser chef. There were two other superb vegetarian dishes but if you love your meat proteins you will not even notice the veggies, believe me. The good people at Radisson insisted on desserts and we obliged. Now, if I don't want to hear three words together in a dessert they are - water chestnuts, coconut milk and jasmine but guess what my first dessert was, “Tub Tim Krob” - water chestnuts in a jasmine coconut milk syrup. I have to admit that I was wrong to doubt the Chef, it was one of the best desserts I have had in a long time. It was presented beautifully and had been sweetened to masterful balance. A pumpkin dessert called “Fugtong Chum”, which was sweetened pumpkin in a coconut milk reduction, followed the first dessert and again I was so pleasantly surprised with the taste. It blew my mind, as I never thought Thai cuisine had so many great desserts. My conversation with the restaurant staff revealed that the owners of Radisson lived in Thailand for a long time and hence had deep fondness for Thai food. Neung Roi is a labour of love rather than a fad restaurant and it shows.

The worst worst service I have ever experienced not even expected from a 1 star hotel. I had ordered food from here at 7.30 in the evening and was told it will be delivered by 9.15. Till 9.40 I am calling and mess and not getting response from the mobile num given. Then finally called the landline and the manger says sir will be delivered in 5 min. I ask him to connect me to the driver and the driver says just left will diliver in 45 min more. One question who orders food at 7.30 and is expected to eat at 12. The staff has no training and lie on your face. Never order from Raddisson. Think the person I was talking to was ravinder

It was a wow experience. Server Vishal and adarsh are very helpful and creative in making our evening beautiful. Food is very tasty. Prawn dumplings are very tasty. I would return and try more dishes from the menu.

We had a masterclass of Thai cuisine at Neung Roi... A true eye-opener since though I had been dabbling in Thai cuisine for some years, this class clarified basics. And then you know why their food is so brilliant, with everything being truly cooked to order. Flavourful and simply perfect!

The ambience lends a nice touch to the dining experience. Very peaceful and comforting. The courteous and polite staff only make it better.

The food, however, was a slight let down. The pad Thai we ordered was nicely presented but taste wise it was on the sweeter end which is a little far from its authentic taste. Being a pure Thai restaurant that was a setback to our expectations. The Green Curry is what saved our dinner. It was full of veggies and well prepared but I think it could’ve been more flavourful.

A great place to go if you like relaxed atmosphere, nice ambience and a slightly indianized version of Thai :)

Definately BEST Thai restaurant in India !!
Intried many Thao restaurant in South India and North India. But this is truely authetic restautant rin by professional chefs in India😋
We tried Yellow Curry, Morning glory Vegetable fry.
If you like flovourful spicy thai curry, I recommend you to try it. Morning glory vegetable was coocked just right and perfect to enjoy a bit of fresh crunchiness. We were very overwelmed the quality and taste there. We will definately come back here again :-)

I have been to Neung Roi quite a few times, mainly because of the proximity, and it has never disappointed me. Always leave the restaurant with the intention of coming back. The crispy fish in the Penang curry with sticky rice is my very favourite there. Their omelet, sausages, shrimp in some tamarind sauce are all lip smacking excellent. It’s a place I will keep going back to.

...Delli and gurgaon ke traffic main phaste hui and traffic ki hai hai ke beech we reached this thai place in mahipalpur.Nueng Roi..Food was visibly nice to look at but the taste wasn't that nice ..the purple covering of the veg dumpling was really thick hence could not taste the stuffing much ..the grilled chicken wasn't grilled much and had an odd smell .Another chicken only had salt as the outstanding flavour..The fried rice had raw onions which was a first tine for me ..the crunch wasnt something i was looking for in a fried rice at least..the chicken penang curry and sticky rice were the better dishes out of all the dishes that we ordered..Nice place with good ambience but not so great food.Cheers ...P.S sorry the names are toooo complicated to remember ..Pad kung pra kao mao and jao and what not .😁😁

Pathetic service. Half the things on the menu weren't even available. Food was stale. When we complained to the manager instead of apologizing he was arguing. Sad how this restaurant has gone down. Better to go to aerocity than this place with pathetic service and food.

Tried Gourmet passport set Non Veg. Trust you cannot easily find the Thai restaurant in Delhi NCR upto this level.

I tried many Thai restaurants in Thailand and South Korea, but this is not left behind.

Quality and quantity, both are fine.

Especially ambience and kindness of staffs is impressive.

I cherished the wieners, Minced chicken, Green curry, Tom yum soup. The additionally had some serving of mixed greens sort of dish which is loaded with nuts and fixings on a leaf, an astonishing option! In general an incredible encounter. A few spots win my heart and this is unquestionably now over my rundown to visit again.Overall an absolute necessity visit place in case you're searching for Thai cooking. I'm certain you won't be frustrated.

It’s really a wonderful place and the food they serve is mind-blowing. Do try soon guys .

Decor :-

Has sparkling and extremely attractive welcoming wallwork with fresh flowers that float in the water. It sets a positively high standard right at the beginning ! The seating is comfortable and the tables are well laid out. It’s the very least you expect at a fine dining establishment.

Service :-

Is extremely slow, impersonal, indifferent almost bordering unacceptable at times. The staff keeps changing and most of the times I’ve been served by temporary servers who have absolutely no idea about the menu. When you ask for suggestions, they simply read back what is written on the menu description making you doubt your English reading skills ! A BIG letdown to an otherwise tasty dining menu !

Food :-

The Thai Chef has done wonders to most dishes served. Staple ones like Pad Thai are garnished well with ample protein making an everyday meal into a truly memorable tasting experience.

Dishes like the Crispy Pork Belly, Chicken Wings, Prawns with spring onions, basil and pepper amongst others are must try ones on the menu.

Ive never had space for desserts but nothing on the menu ever tempted me that much either.

Pricing :-

Good food is at a premium but the experience is weakened by the rubbish service setup. An otherwise 5 star meal is completely let down to a generous 4/5 owing to this fact alone.

Nonetheless, when in the mood to splurge on some Thai classics, be sure to try Neung Roi (but leave the service expectations home and you won’t be disappointed) !

Neung Roi is an authentic Thai restaurant situated near Aerocity. With a contemporary set up, this place has a very soothing ambience. Starting from the entrance where lotus shaped diyas are lit up to the bubble shaped chandeliers hanging across the restaurant and the color coordinated table top set up matched with flower decoration spread across the restaurant, this place is a delight to eyes. You can spot a variety of cozy corners in all sizes and grab the one you like.

Neung Roi serves authentic Thai cuisine and their menu delves into various regions of Thailand, i.e., Isan, Lama, Southern Thailand and Central Plains.

We relished the following dishes which their very efficient and amiable staff served us:-

-Gai Phad Prick Plow which is stir fried chicken with roasted chilli powder. It was flavourful. The chicken was tender and all the flavors perfectly blossomed in our mouth at the first bite.

- Next we tried Going Phad Prick Katiem which are perfectly cooked stir fried prawns served with chilli and garlic sauce. It was succulent and had a tangy touch to it.

- Porpia Phad Thai which is Phad Thai spring roll (veg) served with chilli sauce. It was an instant hit amongst everyone as it had a very balanced flavor. Also, their chilli sauce is the best.

- Chormoung is a steamed Thai butterfly flower dumpling. It is regarded as an ancient royal dish, and is marked by its carved flower-shaped appearance and indigo colouring from the Butterfly Pea flower.
Chor Muang has become rare to find in typical Thailand’s market.
We tried these vegetable dumplings which tasted savory. The hogger in me gulped it in one go and it simply melted in my mouth within seconds and clearly I didn't stop at one.

Moving onto the salad, we tried the following:-

- Yam Hed Khem Tong Krob which is crispy anoki mushroom salad with fresh mango. The crispiness of the salad helps in enhancing its taste to a great extent.

- Yam Talay which is mixed seafood salad with lemongrass, shallot and spring onion is appetizing and has a zesty flavor to it.

Soup:-

- Geang Juet Gai Sab which is a chicken dumpling soup with chives and roasted garlic. The soup has a generous amount of chicken dumplings added to it and is very enjoyable especially in this freezing weather.

In main course we tried the following:-

- Pla Rad Prick which is fried sea bass with ginger, chilli and tamarind glaze. It had the perfect blend of spices and we relished it thoroughly.

- Geang Khru Gai Yang which is grilled chicken with yellow curry and herbs. It had the typical Thai aroma and paired well with Jasmine rice.

- Phad Pak Kiew which is stir fried Kale with morning Glory, Pok choy, soya bean sauce, garlic and pepper. It was exquisite and the flavors wonderfully blended together leaving us wanting for more.

- Geang Kiew Wan Pak which is mixed vegetables with yellow curry, eggplant and kaffirlime. It was very palatable and tasted best with Khao Tom Yum Pak which is Tom Yum vegetable rice.

Dessert:-

- Khao Niew Mamoung which is sticky rice with mango and coconut milk. It was a perfect mix of sweet and sour flavors exactly like the way we had on our recent Bangkok trip.

- Porpia Khuay Hom Thod which are crispy banana fritters with fig and honey ice cream. This is a must try and you cannot afford to miss it at any cost. The crispiness of banana fritters combined with sweet fig and honey ice cream is the best we tried till date. It had just the right amount of sweetness to it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Authentic Thai cuisine in the city with brilliant service and interiors.

The food is really good curated to keep in mind all the regions of Thailand.

I would highly recommend the Stir fried prawns with chilli and garlic sauce, the chicken dumpling soup, grilled chicken with yellow curry and herbs. For dessert you must definitely try the crispy banana fritters with fig and honey ice cream.

Went to watch the opening night of Cirque de soeil and decided to head to neung roi for dinner

It is a decision I greatly regret. Since it was Christmas Eve they had a fixed menu which I had pre booked in the evening and informed them that we would be with my youns son ( age 7) who would not be eating much and requested if he could be accommodated with us.

On reaching the place was practically empty with only 1 other table occupied. In terms of ambience very outdated.

The food was below avearge- the prawns in the starters we're greatly overcooked. The main course was nothing to remember either. The deserts were not to our liking .

My son was half asleep but the lady in charge insisted that we order separatelyrstely for him since he won't be allowed to share with us

An evening and money wasted ...

Terrible dining experience! 50 minutes for a veg pad Thai which turned out to be chicken. Doesn’t get worse for a vegan. Thanks for nothing.

Loy krathong- thai festival of lights which is celebrated by none other than this property offering wide variety of thai cuisines and if I say that they finest thai savouries I wouldnt be wrong in saying.
Had an oppurtunity to visit this great place on this particular occassion and I was like mesmerised on seeing the beauty of it
The way they celebrated this festival I was just loving it
Lights everywhere, esp that pool side idea and the aura with lights casting their brilliance in water- just WOW
Coming to the hospitality- hats off and worth applauding. Everyone handling the event was too cordial to make sure that evryone present there is enjoying the eve.
Their food section Oh my my. Just mind blowing
Such a wide variety and I will say again that they serve delicious thai food with evrrythng being perfect
Just loved it

One of my favourite places for comfort Thai food. Have ordered practically everything but absolutely love the prawn crackers, the green Thai curry the pad Thai and the tempura prawns. Great service. Great quality and the best part - accepts Zomato gold. Definite recommend!

Neung Roi is an institution which serves the most outstanding authentic Thai food backed with the best serving staff in town. This lethal combination backed with the food from the whole of Thailand makes this an extensive and elaborate menu which certainly raises the bar both in terms of choice and variety which each region of Thailand boasts. I had a memorable meal on my Birthday and I am glad I chose this place. Once again I need to credit the service staff who are so sensitive to your needs & I just mentioned it was my Birthday and they surprised me with a gorgeous cake. I would certainly rate Neung Roi as probably the best Thai restaurant as I repeat no other restaurant in India covers all the regions of Thailand hence the menu is so elaborate and the set of serving staff are probably the nicest people around.

I had never looked beyond The Great Kebab factory at Radisson Blu, and Neung Roi was my accidental visit as I couldn't get a table at TGBF. And I am highly impressed with their food. They are not too mellow which I assumed they might be. The interiors are classy and subtle. I loved the sausages, Minced chicken, Green curry, Tom yum soup. The also give a complimentary salad kind of dish which is full of nuts and condiments on a leaf, an amazing addition! Overall a great experience.
If you go weak in the knees at the thought of a warm earthy bowl of seafood tom yum soup and a spicy serving of phad thai, Neung Roi is the place to be for you.
Nestled in the Radisson Blu Plaza, this is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Delhi , especially since the space houses traditional artefacts and dramatic interior pieces.
With around 120 classic thai dishes on the menu the place will definitely satisfy your hunger cravings. Furthermore the menu is divided into four major culinary regions( Isan, Lanna , South and the Central Plains). What's more the menu features a lot of vegetarian options too making it easy to dine with vegan friends.
Started of the meal with Miang Kham it involves wrapping up of little tidbits on a leaf and eating it as a whole. It was deliciously spicy and was very refreshing.
Then had the Gai Louis Suan, this was the deep fried chicken breast topped with peanuts and coriander, had a profusion of exotic flavours and fragrance.
In salads Yam Mamuang which was the raw mango salad was crunchy, fresh, spicy and sour is definitely a must try.
Tom Kha had the quintessential thai aroma, was a bold refreshing blend of exotic ingredients.
Desserts of this place are to die for. Tub Tim Crob is the most famous thai dessert was made perfectly with cubes of water chestnuts in a coconut milk and jasmine syrup served on a funnel kept on a flask with ice inside the flask. It was a very cold and refreshing dessert.
This place has certainly become my perennial favourite and will definitely be returning for a meal again and try the other exotic and aromatic dishes on the menu.
Heard a lot about Neungroi, at Radisson Blu from a couple friend who recently visited the place. I was over at Radisson Blu, Mahipalpur the other day for an event. Despite my previous disappointing experiences there, like a curious cat I couldn’t control checking out the above suggested fine dine. This time round I was totally taken by surprise! Not only were the delicacies at their best but ‘lucky me’ I got the opportunity to meet their celebrity chef named Orawan; all thanks to the hospitality of Mr. Saurabh Chandna (Manager, Events) whose taking the Radisson culture to another level!

A lazy Tuesday afternoon turned out to be an exceptionally memorable day when my Blogger friend invited me to Neung Roi. Thanks to my friend for introducing me to this Thai Restaurant. Some places win my heart and this is definitely now on top of my list to visit again.

Here is what all we were offered

Starters –

A kind of a mouth freshener with betel leaf, which almost looked like a pan but had toppings like peanut, chilli, onion shavings and some lemongrass flavours. It just cleansed our pallet and we were ready to dig in.

*Salad – Som Tum

A raw papaya salad. Fresh, crispy, tangy, sweet, spicy all the flavours complimented each other.

Starters

*Khao Kreb Goong - Crispy prawns with sweet chilli sauce. This dish was mouthwatering with prawns cooked to perfection and those fried onions were delicious.

*Chormuang – Steamed Butterfly Thai Vegetable Dumplings

The catchy purple color butterfly shaped veg dumplings was an eye candy. What I missed asking the chef was what was the significance of purple color and the ingredients used for that color. Hope to get this information at my next visit.

*Squid Rings – Who doesn't like anything deep fried

Crispy soft, not chewy at all. Was a good choice.

* Tohu Priew Wan - Crisp fried Tofu garnished with peanuts in sweet and sour sauce

* Chicken in Yellow curry - (Missed out the name ) This one was spicy (we asked them to do so). I loved it as it was cooked with lots of Green Pepper bunches.

* Panaeng Garee Pla - The sweet taste of the curry was well balanced.

Desserts😋

* Tub Tim Krob - Water Chestnuts in coconut jasmine syrup- The dessert is remarkable. The light sweetness and a hint of salt (I guess it had) with rubies like Sago floating in chilled water Chestnut. You can't leave this one for sure.

* Khai Niew Mamuang - Sticky rice with fresh mango and sweet coconut milk. Refreshing it is

* Kanom Tom - Jaggery Stuff rice with vanilla icecream
* Fig and Honey Icecream with Fried Banana Fritters was lipsmacking. I can have it anytime of the day. Just delectable.

Overall a must visit place if you're looking for Thai cuisine. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Before visiting Neung Roi, I did not have the faintest idea that Thai cuisine is much more than the Red, Yellow and Green curries, noodles and some dimsums here and there. Thank you to the Head Chef Orawan Piyapaisanskul for opening my eyes and introducing to me the lovely flavourful world of Thai cuisine.

Being a huge fan of thai food we were delighted to get such awesome and authentic flavours. For starters we had gai yong its grilled chicken with chilly sauce. Very yummy soft perfectly grilled tender peices of chicken. Som tum salad without whitch thai food is incomplete. And also tried the yam sam o salad which was a little too sweet for me. And veg starter was wok fried tofu in soya based sauce.

Main course came with pla neung manao i.e steamed fish in chilly lime sauce with steamed jasmine rice. Gaeng kiew wan kai their famous authentic grenn curry with veggies and coconut milk. To be had with the same rice. Pad thai goong which is yummy tangy pad thai noodles with prawns n eggs.

My experience at Neung Roi was very pleasing! This indeed is a hidden gem in Delhi and definitely worth a visit! In terms of ambience, the place is elegantly done up and a great place for a date night or for family dinners. The staff is very courteous and attentive! We had the coconut soup with fish, stir fried prawns, steamed fish with lime chilli sauce and the fried rice. I loved the soup, prawns and the rice. The steamed fish had a great flavour and something that I really enjoyed, but the chilli flakes in the sauce were a bit too much and hence overpowered the dish. If only the dish had more balance, it would ve been absolutely spot on! Overall, a lovely place and amazing food!! Definitely deserves more love!

Excellent ambience and service. I went here after a car component conference that took place at the Radisson hotel. Food was delicious.. being alone, I ordered just a rice and pork dish. Both were cooked excellently.

We went here for a friends birthday and had another friend who is an expert in Thai cuisine so we sat back relaxed enjoying the best of dishes, what stood up were the Tom yum pla soup, Pla Yang Manao, Gal Kraprow along with sticky rice was all outstanding. Food taste so fresh here.

The best thing about this Thai restaurant is that they have elaborated menu and they have really authentic Thai food and food is just amazing.
I just loved their raw spring rolls made out of rice sheet and the stuffing was raw and amazing it was prepared by chef Timba. My server Aashish sethi did helped me to choose best appetiser and main course. Good ambience good service good food at affordable prices...what else one can ask for.

One of the best restaurants in Radisson New Delhi. The ambiance was really cool and the staff was really amicable and quick. The Thai curry served was okay but the Thai prawn preparation was exceptionally good. Have to mention that the decor was wonderful. Recommended for authentic Thai food.

I visited this restaurant after long time with my family and I really enjoyed the authentic Thai food which was prepared by Thai chef. Server was very polite and helpful while placing the food order.

What a fantastic Thai restaurant with a great Thai chef. You can get food from south, north, central of Thailand. Soups was automatically Thai. Lemon chilly fish was out of this world. Service was nice too.
Definitely one of the best Thai food places in Delhi.Highlights - Som Tum, Pomelo Salad, Wok fried fish with Ginger, Steam Fish in Lemon.
I cannot wait to move to this side of town so we can get it delivered home anytime we want.
Well done Neung Roi - Take a bow

Fabulous food! It's been difficult to get Thai flavors in that food in Delhi...and this was one place where I found it in abundance. A wide region wise menu from Thailand makes it an interesting meal out. It's usually not super crowded which is a great plus for me. This was one ace where I ended up trying more than just Green curry ( which was great!) and loved each. Good variety of vegetarian options as well.

It was a gorgeous and relaxed atomsphere. I ate a lunch course. All food was so tasty, delicious, and beautiful dish up. I recommend this restaurant.

Very very very disappointing! Might be a classic case of over expectation or ordering all the incorrect items. Went there with very high expectations as I had heard a lot and I’m a die hard Thai fan! But was disappointed to the core - the only saving grace was the mango with sticky rice. The flat noodles had too much salt, the shrimp cakes were just about ok and the special spring rolls - well had nothing special about them. Wouldn’t want to recommend to anyone.

This is a Thai speciality restaurant located in Radisson Mahipalpur.Have been going here for years and it never disappoints. They cover cuisine from all over Thailand and the food is very authentic and similar to one you get in Thailand. One should try the Tom Yom Pla ,Stir fried Prawns and the famous Thai Noodles. All in all.of one is looking for a authtic Thai meal this the place to be

Our dinner here was a complete disaster! With rave reviews on Zomato our expectations were way too high I think.
The ambience is fine dine, pleasing to the eye interiors.

Service - A little ill equipped or I'll informed. But there was an attempt of service recovery when we expressed our disappointment.

Food - The real reason was the poor rating is only the food. We asked for the crispy pork belly but were told that it'll be 'pieces of pork & not the belly'. Instead we ordered for The pork sausages & Laab gai.

Our food arrived within seconds! We were presented with an amouse bouche on betel nut. It had familiar flavours of Thai cuisine.
However, the food that followed didn't. The pork sausages weren't made in-house, there wasnt any hint of chilly, lemon grass or coriander. Infact it tasted like any othr mass produced frozen sausages. The Laab gai was worse! The meat had a powdery after taste. We couldn't tell any other flavour because of this. It looked the part, sliced onions, long beans & specks of bird eye chilli.
I knew this meat was dehydrated frozen mince. Our server admitted to it as well.
Such a shame, to be a part of a 5star chain. To claim authentic Thai food & to be presented with sub standard fare.
The only saving grace was the sea food dipping sauce. They got this one thing right. We doused it on generously to make our food palatable.

I doubt am ever going back. Requesting the Management to look into their ingredients & rethink them. Thai food has 5 major flavours, sweet , sour , spicy, salty & bitter. Each dish must have atleast 2 of these. Besides, the freshness of the herbs, spices & quality of the ingredients makes these cuisine so popular. Neung Roi only promises Thai food but fails miserably!!

This was a pretty decent Thai place. I think I went in with a lot of expectations. Was a bit let down by the vegetarian choices, the water chestnut dessert was especially bad, I couldn't have more than a spoon of that. Seems like quite a treat for non-vegetarians, the braised pork belly was fantastic. Pretty okay overall. Not the best option for vegetarians.

Great food , quaint restaurant serving thai food like no one else

The menu is vast and covers different regions of Thailand picking up their specialities

For starters we had the pork belly and pork pia sod .
The pork belly is to die for

For mains we had the grilled sea bass with zesty lemon flavour and massaman kea .

The food & service are impeccable and thai food never tasted better before

When i think about Thai food in Delhi, I can only think of Neung Roi and Thai Pavillion. Rest of the places either serve fusion or Indian Thai. Recently Neung Roi got new exp-pat chef and new Marcom head as well. New chef being 4 months old to this place will take some time to settle down. The quality of the food continues to be at par. Appetizers were absolutely terrific and so was the tom yum salad. I love their thai curry and sticky rice . One of the reason Thai food is very popular in india is that it suits our taste buds. Spicy , tangy , crunchy and sweet constitute the essential part of Thai cuisine. A must visit if you are a fan of authentic and delicious Thai food.

I want every food lover to visit this place once because we get various delicious food items.
Nagaland's Kitchen
Fantastic Thai food, the best in the city. The restaurant is formal ,yet personal. Ambience is brilliant and the dim lighting helps you lighten up . I found the flavours to be wonderful. Go to Neung Roi for food that is everything from sweet and tangy to zesty. The aroma of coconut milk and lemon grass stays with you for a long time. Great service experience after along time ..The beautifully presented Sticky rice with mangoes is a delightful end to a stupendous meal at Neung Roi.

Had been here yesterday for dinner. Restaurant wasn't much occupied though those who were sitting were mostly Chinese and Thai. Ordered for Green curry, Phad Thai and Som tom and yes it was absolutely sumptous. Amazed to see though they don't have any Thai Chef but quality, taste and eye for detail was equally present. The staff were nice and very accommodating. Cheerzzz team....

I went to Neung Roi with my family a few weeks backs, the place is well located and has a great ambience and decor.

The service was really good, the servers were knowledgeable and smart. They struck the right balance between giving you privacy and not disappearing when you need them. The wine suggestions also turned out to be great.
For vegetarians Chormuang is a must order appetiser, it's a delight to the eyes and tastes great.

Will definitely go here again!

I went to NeungRoi for my anniversary lunch. Being at this restaurant is an immersive experience. Everything from lights to decor to table setting has been meticulously done with keen eye on class and subtlety. It bespoke of class.

The guy serving was knowledgeable and well behaved. He ensured that we have privacy and also was promptly available when her needed.
In fact we ordered some thing too typical and didn't enjoy the sweet flavour. Without us saying anything he suggested to change the dish into a tangy one. I was bowled over with this act. I think it is this customer friendly attitude that makes Neung Roi the best place for Thai food In Delhi.

A new style of pan was presented the moment you sit. With peanuts and chilli it was a refreshing experience. We loved it so much that we shamelessly asked for one more.

We ordered for white wine and chicken satay to start with.
For main course it had to be ofcourse prawns that I totally love and steam rice. Thai preparation of prawns. The quality of prawns was per excellence. Soft, succulent, well cooked and good size. What more can one ask.

This lunch date ended with beautiful chocolate pastry with happy anniversary written on plate and a chocolate coloured candle. Candle too looked edible but I let it go 😋

Amazing experience, food, warmth and ambience.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to celebrate your important dates or to be there on a date 😍

When you are at Neung Roi, you fall in love with its elite ambience .

Your visit here starts with betel leaf topped with an assortment of nuts.
We tried Gaeng Juet Jae Soup, and its the best soup i had in recent times. In Appetizers we tried Hed Yang which is a mushroom based dish and it was presented beautifully. If you are mushroom lover then this is definitely worth a try. For main course we had Gaeng Kiew Wan Pak with Khao Suay rice which was recommended by the staff there, rice was good but gravy could have been better.
We tried Khao Niew Mamuang for desert which is NOT RECOMMENDED at all, this desert was a total waste of money.

Since this restaurant is list as a zomato gold partner, this is definitely an added advantage .
Overall this place is a must try if you are a thai food lover .

Amazing thai food...its authentic and not Indianised.....
Service was very very good
Not expensive at all and each and every dish was made to perfection

At Neung Roi, they start you off with an amuse bouche of betel leaf topped with an assortment of nuts and spices. It's a great indicator of the Thai flavours to follow. I skipped appetisers and jumped straight to my mains of Thai curry and sticky rice. Follow it up with that simple yet most refreshing of desserts - tub tim trub or ruby chestnuts in coconut milk. Everything from flavours to service is flawlessly executed here.

9 out of 10 people I know haven’t heard of or eaten at Neung-Roi. It is hands-down the BEST Thai restaurant in Delhi.

The restaurant isn’t always full and one simply can’t stumble on the location as it’s in the Raddison-Blu Plaza Hotel, - however when the waiters bring your order to the table, one tends to wonder how this restaurant isn’t fully booked at any given day of the week.

Reason to go here: Family dinner/ Large group of people/ Authentic Thai Food lovers.
Huge portions and and very good value for money - the menu is extremely diverse from different regions of Thailand with the chefs originally from there.

What I loved for-

Appetisers:

Pak Boong Thod: Crispy fresh Morning Glory with soya.

Thor Man Pla: Rubbery fish cakes served with green beans.

Gai Hor Bai Toey: Little Pandan leaf parcels containing deep fried marinated chicken that comes with a light tangy sauce.

Salads:

Raw Papaya Salad

Main Course:

Pad Thai Goong: Prawn Pad Thai Noodles enough for two people to share. Unlike the Pad Thai noodles in most restaurants in Delhi, this place doesn’t add ketchup to their noodles to make it awkwardly sweet.

Ped Makam: This dish is perfect Grilled Duck lovers, - the pineapple and crisp shallots are tossed in a light Tamarind sauce. You can request for extra sauce with your dishes you wish to add a sticky or steamed rice to your meal.

Massaman Kea: Lamb and potato coconut curry with steamed rice makes for a fantastic simple order but better to eat this during lunch as coconut curry can lave you feeling a bit heavy. Delicious though!

Khao Phad Krapow Gai: If you’re looking for a comfort rice dish, then this stir fried basil chicken with long beans and some chilli then this is great! I liked this on it’s own.

Dessert:

Khao Niew Mamuang: Sticky and fragrant Rice with a thick coconut milk with sesame seeds along with fresh cut mango. My favourite Thai dessert an I don’t usually get this any place else, - it is heavenly!

I always believe that if there are too many dishes on a menu that you want to try then you'd rather be confused as to what to order because there's so much you don't want to miss out on rather than a small commercial menu that makes you settle for something only because the rest doesn't seem as appetisizing. This place is for everyone and I'd be surprised if anyone said they've had a bad experience!

x

A bite, a nibble and you're literally transported to a wondrous world in Thailand. If you have the female head chef cooking, you are in luck. The authentic Thai cuisine is probably the finest in Delhi. Apart from what we consider Thai, Neung Roi really stands out head and shoulders above the rest in delicately picking dishes across the country. One can expect dishes ranging in spice, chilli and sweetness from Northern hills to the Southern beaches. Exceptional!

Its a great place to spend your evening. The food is really very tasty, we ordered dal and paneer. It was awesome. The ambience too is peaceful.

If you're a fan of Authentic Thai food then don't even think twice before going to Neung Roi.Its an absolute delight and a treat to the palate. Right from the ambience to the hospitality of the staff, it is bloody good!!
We tried the basil chicken, tom yam soup, a fish starter, the papaya salad, and the Thai curry and I can't tell you which one was better than the other because everything was cooked with so much finesse and perfection to the point of T. The sago dimsums is something that I had neither even heard of nor ever imagined before but its an absolute treat and you must try it at Neung ROI. If you don't, you certainly are missing something.
The Thai chef out there is a very pleasant lady from Thailand. We met her personally to give her a pat on the back for the lip-smacking food.
Not very easy on the pockets but definitely a must try if you're a fan of Thai food.
Neung Too serves the best Thai food in Delhi, period.

They have probably won all the best Thai food category awards. The Chef has given her best I guess to this place. The soulfull food we get here is just brilliant.

We started our meal with Tom Kha Gai and Labh Gai. Tom Kha Gai was a coconut and galangal based super flavoursome soup. Labh Gai was also spiced to perfection.

For the starters we had Gai Yong, Thod Man Pla and Chormuang. Chormuang are Veg Thai steamed Butterfly dumplings. They were not even a visual treat, but superb in flavours. Thod Man Pla(Fish Cakes) were also just too good. Soft and loaded with freshness and flavours.

After that Goong tha ha rod (fried prawn in five flavour sauce), Khao phad sapparod talay (pineapple fr@ied rice with sea food and cashewnuts), Phad pak kiew (stir fried kale with morning glory, pokchoy, soya bean sauce, garlic n pepper) and Gaeang kiew wan gai (thai green chicken curry). All the main course dishes were extremely well prepared and were quite flavourful too. In desserts we had Tub tin krob ( water chestnuts in coconut jasmine syrup) and Khao mamuang (sticky rice with fresh mango and coconut cream). Nothing could have been better than this. Simply loved and thoroughly enjoyed my each and every second spent in Neung roi. The service was also bang on.

Neung Roi is without a doubt one of the best places in Delhi to enjoy Thai food. Neung Roi means 100 in Thai and has been named after the 100°C East longitude, which runs through Thailand. Neung Roi celebrates cuisines from all across Thailand and also celebrates ‘Sum Rai Thai’ or the Thai way of eating. The ambiance comprises of soothing colours and creates a very restful atmosphere. The service is peerless and the menu draws inspiration from four major culinary regions ( Isan, Lanna, South and the central Plains).

If you have strong desire for Thai food this is a must visit place. I went their for an official visit and ate dinner there. Everything was so perfect it may be service, ambience, or food. Right from the starters till desserts all dishes were so delicious and mouth watering. The staff of the restaurant is cooperative. All in all it was a good experience and look forward to visit again.....

It's one of the best Thai restaurant in Delhi NCR. Yesterday I was attending a conference at Radisson and had lunch at this place. I tried Tom yum pak soup, Yam Pak did salad Plate Yang kamin. All three were outstanding. Will always visit this place for authentic Thai food.

Visited as part of Restaurant Week, where participating restaurants are meant to showcase their talent. It was a very indifferent meal, with indifferent service, and a feeling of a complete lack of participation from the restaurant. The menu was lopsidedly heavy with unusually large courses for a set menu. The food was indifferent and greasy, the desert was balls of raw rice flour encasing some jaggery. The only saving grace of the meal was the amuse bouche of a betel leaf with some tofu filling. There was none of that sparkling wit and melange of flavors of classic Thai food. I won't be going back.

We've visited Neung Roi twice, and it has impressed us both times. The concept of dividing the menu based on different regions is innovative and interesting. When we first visited, the menu was actually on a tablet, and was interactive and informative. The menu has since been changed to paper, but the variety remains constant. The Pak krob, yam mamuang, tom kha pak, pak boong thod are absolutely impeccable. The flavours are new, fresh, interesting and delicious. When we visited, they also offered us an amuse bouche which was unique and a great way to start the meal. We ended the meal both times with a Yellow-bean custard which was out of the box and really delicious. The mocktails are great, too. Overall, he experience is truly fine-dining.

The Best Thai restaurant undoubtedly in Delhi NCR. Located in the Radisson hotel close to the airport, this restaurant has been serving sumptuous Thai cuisine for more than a decade and has withstood the onslaught of eateries promising authentic Thai cuisine.

We were a group of four so we could do justice to the huge menu, started with Tom Yum and Tom Kha Soup, both of them were delicious and the quantity is decent for a person. For the starters we ordered the butterfly dimsums, spring rolls, grilled chicken and fried prawn. The chicken was grilled perfectly and accompanied with a fish oil spicy sauce, the butterfly dimsums were also good and the taste blended well with the sweet thai chilly sauce that comes with it. However, the prawns and spring rolls were average and could have been better.

As for desserts I liked the sticky thai rice with mango, but the star of the day was the honey and fig ice cream, which was ordered in place of jaggery rice (major disappointment). Overall, a good experience and will definitely go back to try more dishes and the only bummer seems the lacs of alcohol as on date.

Food 4.5/5.0
Service 3.5/5.0
Ambiance 3.5/5.0
VFM 3.0/5.0

Me & my friends landed at Neung Roi as part of Restaurant Week India 2017 and all set to try their delicious award winning Thai food. First Impression - the restaurant was big, beautifully lit AND empty! We were happy about it as the service would remain undiluted. However, we could see the stewards moving around slow & aimlessly and took almost 10 minutes to come to our table. The only table with people sitting.

The food was flawless. There were 4 non-vegetarian appetizers & main course each & we ordered one each. The server was very polite, he was also extremely disinterested and mumbled the names of the dishes under his breath making us strain necks to catch the words.

I started with Pla Phad King - Wok fried fish with black mushroom & crispy ginger, moved on to Sai Krog Moo - Grilled pork sausage with cucumber relish & pickled ginger. Next was Gai Yang - grilled chicken with coriander roots & chilli sauce & the final appetizer - Goong Pan Takrai - Prawn & lemongrass Skewer with chilli lime sauce.

The food was delectable 10/10. The manner in which it was served was 5/10. The server served us all the items at once causing the sauces & all flavours to mix. Not very pleasant.

The main course was even better than the appetizers. Pla Neung Manao - steamed fish with lime chilli sauce stole my heart and I wished not to to have shared it ;)

For desert, I tried Sticky rice with fresh mango & coconut cream. The sticky rice is a little ball of heaven. The mango however, was tart. The other desert, Water chestnut in coconut jasmine syrup was also a hit.

All in all, a great meal and a afternoon well spent. Service definitely left much to be desired. A smiling, enthusiastic service makes can make a hell lot of difference to the entire experience.

Tried their food at the Namaste Thailand festival. Loved the dishes. Went there for two days and Everytime ate at their stall and enjoyed the tasty food. Would surely plan a trip to neung roi soon. Keep up the good work :)

Asian Cuisine has always been my weak point. Specially Thai cuisine has always made me go back for more. It makes me nostalgic and takes me back to the time I spent in Thailand. The rich flavors, strong scent of lemongrass, lots of herbs and ginger/garlic. I always cherish my memories I have about the gastronomical journey in Thailand.

Thai cuisine is one of my favourite food and Neung Roi is definitely the best place to serve real authentic Thai flavours.
It was a mid week break of ours so thought of indulging ourselves in our favourite cuisine. I simply love the place as it has nice and simple classic interiors , decor is quite subtle too making it a perfect food oriented place . Live kitchen space where Chef Yenjai Suthiwaja can be seen through a glass wall preparing the delectable ordered food adds an extra edge to the whole experience.
Chef Yenjai Suthiwaja is the main lady behind this restaurant. Through her dedication and passion she has made Neung Roi won many awards for being best Thai restaurant in Delhi. So our mid week break celebration started with some soup and salads. We had Tom kha gai soup which was amazing having nice flavours of coconut milk , mushroom ,coriander, kaffir lime , galangal along with chicken. Lab gai (mince chicken salad)and Yam talay( mixed sea good salad) were just too good and were quite fulfilling too. In appetizers we loved Gai Yong (Grilled chicken with coriander rootsand roasted chillies) , Thod man pla (fish cakes)and Chormuang (veg steamed thai butterfly flower dumplings). After that Goong tha ha rod (fried prawn in five flavour sauce), Khao phad sapparod talay (pineapple fried rice with sea food and cashewnuts), Phad pak kiew (stir fried kale with morning glory, pokchoy, soya bean sauce, garlic n pepper) and Gaeang kiew wan gai (thai green chicken curry). All of them were extremely well prepared and were quite flavourful too. Simply got bowled over by those yummy fragrant gourmet food. Then in the last we ended our luxurious meal with the desserts , Tub tin krob ( water chestnuts in coconut jasmine syrup) and Khao mamuang (sticky rice with fresh mango and coconut cream). Nothing could have been better than this. Simply loved and thoroughly enjoyed my each and every second spent in Neung roi. The spik and span staff and the service adds an extra star to the overall experience .

Thai food had always been my favourite and after visiting Thailand multiple times finally I happened to visit Neung roi at Radisson Blu hotel. I was really impressed with the menu they have, it had almost everything that Thai cuisine can offer.
I started my meal with the famous Tom yum goong soup which had like 2 big pieces of prawns and the soup was perfect. Then ordered a few salads, Thai papaya salad n a few more, each one was great.
In starters I tried some of their prawns, fish, pork, duck n chicken item, they were amazing. The fruit shaped vegetarian dimsums were too good.
In mains I tried their pork n duck curries n sea food fried rice that was served in pineapple shell.
Overall, each one of their items were perfectly cooked n served.
The chef is a a Thai lady hence she has maintained the authenticity in taste
Desserts were nice too, I tried the Thai desserts only but apologize for not remembering any of the names.
Would surely recommend this place for Thai lovers or for having a nice Asian meal with friends colleagues or family.
The best Thai in Delhi/ NCR is served here. Been here umpteen number of times and have always had the best experience. You can try anything from their menu and trust it to be lip smacking. Love the way they plate their food, totally reflects the grace of their Thai chef Yenjai Suthiwaja. Soothing ambience with excellent service and delectable food! What else could you ask for!

We had a lovely family dinner here last week.
And mee spum pak which is simply wok fried noodles with veggies. And veg main course was phad pak kiew which was some veggies in garlic and pepper sauce.
Then for dessert we trued authentic thai tub tim krob. And coconut ice cream. It was a great palate cleanser too. And such light and yummy sweet flavour if rose and coconut milk with water chestnut. Whole family enjoyed so much at this place we r definitely coming back sometime soon.

Neung Roi is probably one of the beautiful restaurants I have visited in a while. And this restaurant is famous in delhi ncr for it's thai food and hands down , they are serving the lip smacking thai food. The overall interiors are very sober and ambiance is calm and with a light music playing at the backdrop , you can enjoy your meal even more. This amazing restaurant is situated in radisson blu plaza mahipalpur ans you can locate this hotel very easily as it is on the main road itself. So coming onto my experience , I would love to recommend few dishes which I had. Gai tang , a dish of which the flavors were amazing , had grilled chicken with coriander roots & roasted chilly sauce. The tom yum goong soup is a must try here. I loved the aromas and flavors of lemongrass , kaffirlime and galangal. And in the mains , I ordered gaeng hang lay , pork belly with peanuts dried chillies and tamarind and gaeng kiew wan pak which has the mixed vegetables in thai green curry. The green curry was truly amazing in flavors and certainly one of the best till date. And the desserts took my experience to another level altogether because I had khao niew mamuang in which sticky rice served with fresh mangoes and coconut cream. You have to take little bit of all to enjoy the flavors. If you love desserts then this dessert should not be missed.
Whimsy And Curvy
So glad i finally got to try this place... finally!! After two cancelled plans i was excited since the third plan worked out. As i am a huuuge fan of pan asian food i love thai for its wonder subtle sweet and sour and chilly flavours and neung roi does it pure justice! Its the best thai food i have had anywhere in delhi. Their masterchef is a native of thailand and she loves to serve proper home made thai food to the visitors and trust me if u are a thai food fan u will fall in love with the food and the concept here. They serve food from all four parts of thailand which are differently knows for their flavours, meats, spiciness and the way of cooking. Everything is specified in the menu plus the servers are more than happy to explain everything to u and help you out with what to order according to ur taste and choice. For starters we had GAI YANG its grilled juicy buts of chicken with roasted chilly sauce and as thai food is famous for super yummy and healty salads packed with flavour we tried SOM TUM, YAM SOM-O and YAM MAMUANG which are raw papaya , caramelised onions with pomelo and raw mango salads. They are very light on the tummy and are super yummy. For main course we had PAD THAI GOONG which is pad thai noodles with prawns, PLA NEUNG MANAO which is yummy steamed fish with chilly lime sauce (my favourite and a must try) eaten with steamed jasmine rice. PHAD PAK BENJARONG snow peas cauliflowers and sm other veggies in garlic soy sauce, this was vegetarian and i just had one bite and it was good though. MEE SPUM PAK which is a version of veg noodles and GAENG KIEW WAN GAI this is the most famous thai green curry with chicken eggplant kafir lime and coconut milk. We were so satiated and stuffed with these wonderfull dishes but we obviously had to try their authentic thai desserts. So we ordered TUB TIM CROB their most famous and best selling dessert its water chesnut peices soaked in rose flavour and coconut milk it was the most unique dessert i ever tasted. Finally we had some coconut , coffee , chocolate and vanilla ice cream to finish off our epic meal. A must try for people who like thai food and food that is prepared with so much authenticity and love and technique.

If you love thai food then you cannot afford to miss this amazing place called Neung Roi which is in radisson blu plaza mahipalpur. Not every thai restaurant in the city serves the authentic thai food but here you can see and feel the authenticity of the food. Neung Roi is a perfect blend of amazing hospitality and superb food. Went there few days back and I was totally blown with the food I had. Started with the krachai gab goong which was basically the stir fried prawn with wild ginger & shallot and moo thod katiem which was the pork belly nicely done in garlic and pepper and goong hom sabai which was the deep fried prawn wrapped in spring roll pastry. So these three starters were heavenly in flavors. I have never loved a prawn wrapped in spring roll pasty this much. In the mains , I had the goong hod tha rod which was fried prawn in a home made five flavor sauce and fresh coriander and pla neung manao which was steamed fish with lime chilli sauce. The five flavor sauce in the prawns made the dish a bit tangy but in a good way and it was full of flavors. And now the desserts , coconut creme caramel I had and this is by far one of the best creme caramel I have had in a while and it was topped with a half cut strawberry and jaggery roll. This meal was certainly the best for me in a while.

Neung Roi is the place where you get the authentic Thai food, even their ingredients get imported from Thailand, a must visit place for Thai food lover. Located on the ground floor of Radisson Blu hotel in Mahipalpur, and believe me or not you get the best of the hospitality. The experience is not less than you enjoying every bite of your food with a great service and a live Thai kitchen just in front of you.

The ambience was good but service was average. The food quality was ok. Dessert was a big disappointment. Had heard good reviews but didn't find it to be that good.

With a menu inspired by cuisines from the four distinct culinary traditions of Thailand and acclaimed as the Best Thai Restaurant in the Times Food Awards 2014 & 2015, Neung Roi offers an unprecedented dining experience that takes you on a unique voyage through Thailand’s gastronomic diversity.

Opulent Interiors with soothing Lighting & restful atmosphere gives an elegant feel to the outlet.

In Neung Roi i understood that great cooks can only turn simple vegetables / simple ingredients to such lip smacking food items.

We started our meal with Tohu song Khurg– It was tofu and betel leaf in pandanus cup with tamarind, palm sugar sauce and roasted coconut! The paan leaf was cut into thin strips & added. The tofu was at the base of the pandanus cup.
Sounds weird but it tasted Awesome !!.

The next dish was Yam Mamuang – raw mango salad with cashew nut. This was such a simple dish which could be easily made at home & yet tasted so good. Super thin slices of raw mango marinated with sweet, salt, sour seasoning, thinly sliced green chillies & served with crispy cashew. Super Yummy Dish which one must have.

In Main Course i opted for Gaeng Kiew Wan Pak which essentially was Thai Green Curry served with Mixed Vegetables. This dish had an Overwhelming taste and it satiated my hungry Soul.

In Dessert i had Tum Tim Krob (Water chestnut in Coconut jasmine syrup) and Khao Niew Mamuang which is basically Sticky rice with Mango and Coconut Cream. Both the Desserts are worth a revisit to the place !!

The service guys were very warm, knowledgeable & good.

Neung Roi means 100 in Thai and this Restaurant deserved 100 out of 100 for serving authentic far east cuisine in Delhi NCR.

Neung Roi is one of the finest restaurants in town serving authentic Thai food. With an expat chef at the helm of affairs neung Roi certainly leaves no stone unturned to enthrall the discerning Palates of diners.

The betel leaf amouse bouche, raw Papaya salad, pork belly, prawns we had were lip smacking.
Thanks flavours are complex yet understandable just how Thai cuisine is.

Mango and sticky rice, coconut ice cream, the Thai green curry are few other dishes much recommended at neung roi.

Must visit this restaurant for an authentic Experience of enjoying Thai cuisine.

We went here for dinner on a Sunday night during the Dineout Food Festival. The place was quite full, however since we'd made a reservation we were escorted to a table immediately. The restaurant was quite nice, ambience wise. From the photos it'd seemed to be slightly dull.

Service was quick and the server helped us place an order since we were unsure about what to go for. We opted for a starter and a main course- their portions were quite large and so this was enough for 2. For the starters we were recommended the Thod Man Pla (a fish cake) and for the main course we ordered the Gaeng Kie Gai I.e. the green Thai curry along with a side of jasmine rice. To drink I ordered the Italian smooch mocktail.

I didn't like the mocktail much- it just tasted like Pepsi. The starter on the other hand was quite okay, though I found it to be slightly bland without the accompanying sauce. The Thai curry too was nice, but again, not very spicy and slightly on the blander side.

Overall the meal was quite nice. They brought out some sort of coconut paan initially which was quite different and the menus were in the form of ipads. Our meal however worked out to be quite reasonable due to the dineout deal.

I had a Fig and Honey Ice cream. The ice cream was soft and more of a granita /slush. But the taste was very good .It had excellent taste of figs.
