#RadissonBlu #PaschimVihar is promoting food from Baluch, a month long celebration at their restaurant Indyaki......the local food of Iran and Afgan region, simple food, less spicy, taste is quite distinct yet very delicious, no fancy, no detailing on presentation. The food served in hotel, in steel bowls which is the norm there. The folk music from Baluch, playing is adding to the feel of the place, also a breif dance performance by the staff.
Chef Avinash Jha has done a great job by studying and doing trials to come up with the menu and do justice to the food to make it authentic. Although Non Veg is more preferred by people here, yet they have good variety of Veg dishes also. The food is slow cooked which enhances the taste of the main ingredient.
Pickled veges are very popular in Baluch, and so as the Doli Ki Roti, the fermented sweetish roti, we also loved it. Elaborate menu will be in rotation for all this time.
Baluchi Bhuna Paneer, Chargha Murg,.... very well marinated and perfectly done, delicious with a distinct taste, Khumb Khajoor ki shammi,... soft, sweetish, Shajji Murg,...very popular dish, not to be missed, lazeez Kathal,.... wonderful never had kathal this way, Muhajji Chappli Kabab,....superb, Subz Kadhai Kabab, Talli Maachli, Bhune Sakth Phal, Churrasco Chicken,......all these starters were mind-blowing, delicate, soft, crisp, done with perfection.
Main course was again very elaborate, Baluchi Paya Nihari, Bluchi Machali ka salan, Pakhtuni Kadhai Chicken, Baluchi Gosht Biryani, never ever tasted this awesome biryani, Baluchi Chana, Masala mix Veges,...... with assorted breads. "Ungliyan chatte rah jaoge", is what I can say.
Madarr, the Khajoor Halwa..... irresistible, without adding sugar, the sweetness is of Khajoor itself.
This is once in long time opportunity to relish all these delicacies, so one should grab it and enjoy this wonderful experience. Well, done, GM Puneet Chaudhary and his team #RadissonBlu #PaschimVihar.

Recently I attended “Undivided India food – North-West Frontier Food Festival” * at Radisson Blue(Paschim Vihar) Indyaki(Indian specialty restaurant) which is curated by Master Connoisseur Chef Osama Jalali and Celebrity Chef Rakesh Sethi. The aim of the festival is to take us to undivided India’s honourable classics which I believe should be tried by all food lovers. The dining room at the of Indyaki boasts the theme of “Undivided India” at its helm, as well as a pretty stonking collection of paintings inside.
This festival is a great template for delicious food packed with best sourced spices and aromatics and the set up is highly distinctive . Here Chef Osama has employed old age cooking techniques and combines a diverse range of fresh, natural and minimally processed ingredients into a flavour rich luxury dining experience.
