My family and I stayed at the Taj Palace hotel in New Dehli for a wedding this past December. While staying there, we decided to stop by the Orient Express for a nice dinner. We decided to go with the a la carte options. They started out meal with a yogurt and patte spread to go with their bread service. For appetizers and soups, we got the lobster bisque and roasted duck. For dinner we got the rack of lamb, and pasta.
Service at this restaurant is fantastic. Waiters are knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly.
If I ever go back to Dehli I would come back to this restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The ambiance of the place was cozy and inviting.
Now coming to the food, it was simply outstanding. Each dish was prepared with great attention to detail and bursting with flavors. Whether it was the perfectly seared steak or the delicate presentation of the dessert, every bite left me wanting more. The menu offered a wide range of options, catering to all taste preferences.
The staff deserve a special mention for their attentiveness and knowledge about the menu. They were able to provide excellent recommendations and were prompt in addressing any request or query we had.
In terms of pricing, it was a bit on the higher side but considering the quality of food and service, it was definitely worth it. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we left the restaurant feeling satisfied.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I would give it a full 5-star rating without any hesitation.

A unique experience. The Orient Express is a small (10sh table) continental restaurant
tucked away in the Taj Palace hotel in the Diplomatic Enclave area near Of New Delhi.
The service was fantastic, including a superb pianist who solicited and performed our requests. The many courses were artfully presented as well as delicious. I especially liked the artichoke stuffed crepe. All of this in a setting faithfully reproducing the dining car of the Orient Express train. This is a very special place, for special occasions.
