Birthday dinner with my family at this place. It was a grandiose time for me, the ambience was just amazing, fine dining the view, the wine everything was just perfect. Started with the welcome drink - mushroom punch(i didnt like it much) then minestrone soup which was wuite bland in taste. This was followed by deconstructed samosas and a cylindrical dosa, both were good. The main course was decent enough. But the show stealers were the desserts. They had choclate pave, kulfi, berry compote, pineapple jalebi, gulab jamun cheesecake and many more unusual but delicious delicacies. We concluded with a pan punch. Overall it was the best time i had. Would definitely visit again!

Spent a week over there with best hospitality. It will be an easy recommendation for anyone who is looking to stay in Central Delhi area. The amnesties, food, services is very satisfactory. And excess to the city from the hotel is just a 10 mins walk. Furthermore, people are friendly and helpful over there. My time in there was quite peaceful and enjoyable. They have a variety of food items in the breakfast from Indian to Continental or oriental.

I had to take a very dear friend out to dinner, in style. Eau de Monsoon was recommended, and for good reason. The ambiance, the setting, the food, and the service, led by Vicky, everything was classy.<br/>The food was delicious and well presented. The starters were deceptively small, but full of flavours and very filling. The vegetarian main course was ordered on Vicky's advise, and turned out to be perfect. Predictably, Chef Raju's brilliant recommendation on desert could not be done justice to. But there is always a next time.<br/>I spent a very wholesome 3 hours at the restaurant.

Had ordered broccoli kofta along with Dal makhni. That's a must to have it here if I wish to grab some delicious north indian vegetarian food. Rest the staff is quite friendly and courteous which made experience much much better. And not to forget those paan shots they serve at the end

It used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city. We went there yesterday after a few years to eat dinner. I must say the staff was doing its best to make us comfortable but due to non availability of basic amenities such as an extension table to keep food etc, the experience was just poor. We had ordered a few dishes and when the food came, due to lack of space the servers ended up putting dishes in our Quater plates. We requested for an extension table, they couldn’t provide one. Then they got a small side table to put the food on that. The glass in which I was served water was chipped and in the end when we requested to pack the left over we were simply denied citing security as issue. On the whole a pathetic experience. But the food was good.

The sustenance is good.The feel of the spot is excellent, it pursues a diminish light arrangement which makes it ideal for a flame light supper. I had heard a lot about the place and wanted to try their version of north indian too! Quite heavy food they have. Very small portions like 2 appetisers and all in a plate. I ordered the trio paneer, veg quinoa seekh,lamb appetiser and a chicken appetiser. They tasted rather good but portion sizes were really small. The main course dishes were rather well served. We did chicken makhani (small portion size again), dal makhani, bharwan paneer, broccoli kofta which were really extra heavy but really good in taste. I tried their wasabi naan which sounded good but was just little wasabi paste on top of a plain naan (disappointing really) and their jalapeno naan which was ok. The other mint lachha parantha and kulchas and garlic naan were okay. Overall the place i would rate 7/10 and really overpriced. Their signature mocktail was quite good.

My wife made a reservation at Eau De Monsoon for my birthday because our family loves North Indian food but the restaurant was a huge disappointment and we regretted visiting this place. The staff was ridiculously discourteous and it’s not the kind of service one expects from a restaurant at a 5 star hotel. The hospitality was nothing compared to that at ITC or Oberoi restaurants. The food was okayish but nothing special. But what was even more ridiculous was that they refused to pack the leftovers. We ordered multiple dishes since we were out for a celebration and hence couldn’t consume a part of the order. When we asked if the restaurant was going to throw it, they simple said we don’t keep packing material and we’ll dispose it. I can’t believe that such a so-called big brand is promoting food waste. <br/>Not recommended!

My experience at Eau De Monsoon wasn't the one you would expect from a restaurant situated at one of the premier hotels in the capital.<br/><br/>My time here was a big time disappointment, read on to know why I am saying so🤐<br/><br/>Located at the lobby level of Le Meridien, Eau De Monsoon serves contemporary north indian food or fusion food as many of you would know.<br/><br/>The ambience of the place is beautiful, it follows a dim light setup which makes it perfect for a candle light dinner😉<br/><br/>The food was delicious, we tried the following:<br/><br/>1. Sole Fish Tikka: 4/5<br/><br/>2. Trio Cottage Cheese: 4/5<br/><br/>3. Lamb Shank with Gravy: The pieced were perfectly cooked. 5/5<br/><br/>4. Butter Chicken: 4/5<br/><br/>5. Dal Makhni: 4/5<br/><br/>6. Bharwan Paneer: 3/5<br/><br/>7. Moreover, he waived off the service charge on his own and apologised deeply for whatever happened.<br/><br/>Seeing the humble gesture of the manager and acknowledging the fact that he did accept the restaurant's poor service, I think I can still give one more shot sometime in the future, especially considering that the food tasted great and the place is lovely😇<br/><br/>I think you can try out this place once, and if you are Zomato Gold member then I'd suggest you should😎<br/>

A great fine dine experience during our recent official dinner at Eau De Monsoon.The restaurant opens at 7, we reached early but didn't have the option of getting in since the entry is locked and opens not before 7. Anyway, once inside, the interiors of the restaurant are exquisitely dark themed. Nothing lavish or over the top but still very impressive. We were given a separate seating in kind of an exclusive section with glass waterfall facing which was beautiful. Now coming to the food; unexpectedly whatever they served, suited my taste buds very well. Here's what was on the table:<br/>Cottage Cheese Triology - Very good selection of cottage cheese with different flavors; particularly the achari whic was very good and spicy enough. Very likeable. The whole platter is a very good option for those who like veg. 4/5<br/>King Prawns - Prawns infused with basil and yogurt. The prawn were good, soft but I've had better prawn elsewhere. Good option but you won't miss anything if you don't order. 3.5/5<br/>Chicken Tikka Duo Garlic - Nicely marinated pieces of soft chicken tikka. I would have liked them a li'l bit more spicy though. Nothing spectacular but good enough still. 3.5/5<br/>Seabass - An unexpected but pleasant surprise. A fusion dish of fish cooked continental style with madras curry (which was superb and very creamy). This was something I've never had before anywhere<br/>and being a fusion restaurant they did it exceptionally well. Highly recommended !! 5/5<br/>Chicken Tikka in Makhni Sauce - Wow, another exception offering. I get salivated even thinking of it. The gravy was exceptional and will blow your buds. Another highly recommended dish !! 5/5<br/>Lamb curry - Nicely cooked mutton with curry. But like prawns, I've had better mutton a lot of places. So this was good but could be missed. 3.5/5<br/>The service is what you expect it to be - world class. The manager - Shubham was very heedful of what we're having and what we needed. The servers did a superb job explaining the dishes before we have them. Very happy with the service and they made the evening worth remembering.<br/>Overall a very good experience. Great food, next level service and a superb ambiance to go with it.<br/>PS: It would have been better if there was some soft music in the background. Went with a group of 50 people, food was quite okay but in places like these i feel it is the service which should steal the show. However, service was below average, had to wait about 10 15 min every time we requested something. for instance tea should be ready but it took them 10 min to get that, then we requested to clear the table they again took quite a bit of time in doing so...<br/>Overall i feel food taste is good but service needs serious improvement!!!

I visited the place recently with a big group of around 15 people. I started my evening with a refreshing Watermelon juice. It was fresh and very stimulating. The starters were very well prepared and tasted superb. The king prawns were a must try!<br/><br/>In the main course, Duck Breast and New Zealand Lamb were just out of the world. The combination of garlic naan and the above dishes was too good. <br/><br/>The Gulab Jamun stuffed Cheese Cake and Chandan Ice Cream was crazy stuff.

We went to this place on our last day in Delhi at the end of our Diwali holidays. My husband said this place has a unique menu and wanted me to try it. And boy! Was it unique. One reading of the menu and I had no clue what to order. We ordered rasam soup with idli croutons and gun powder - I know, pretty fancy! The concept is great and the soup tasted great - except that there was a smidgen of gun powder for decoration. I am not sure if foreign nationals, for whom this fancy menu is mainly created truly appreciate the nuances of things like gun powder. <br/><br/>The kebabs were to die for - I kept thinking about them even the next day! We ordered mushrooms for main course - again, tasty! (We had ordered kebabs for room service too. Some of the best kebabs I've ever had)<br/><br/>The service is great - as I'd expect from a place like Meridian. We told them that we had to leave in 40 min for a flight and they totally took that into account. Assuming that we were the only ones that turned up for lunch that day, it anyways shouldn't have taken long to prep the food. The steward was attentive and ensured from time to time that everything was going fine. We weren't just left ignored since we were just 2 people. <br/><br/>What I really loved were the little touches along the meal. There was a tiny portion of  asparagus soup before our own soup arrived. A honeydew sorbet to cleanse our palette before the main course. A chocolate to end the meal. And liquid paan - a very unique twist to the traditional classic that I loved the most - at the fag end. <br/>The reason I tool away one star is the price point. The menu is great and so is the service. But these prices might work for people who pay in dollars. There should be separate prices for Indian nationals - make it slightly more within reason. <br/><br/>All said and done - just the experience of being there was great and I'm glad my husband thought of it!

The recently concluded "Restaurant Week India" by Cellar Door gave an opportunity to patrons of visiting some of the premium restaurants located in five-star hotels in Delhi, with a 3-course meal being a fraction of the price. Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity, given that I very much enjoy fine dining.<br/><br/>Some other reviewers have pointed out to the poor lighting and I concur that it hinders the ambience. We were also given the table in the corner because of uncomfortable seating, but I didn't mind in the least, because of a great view.<br/><br/>Visiting on Gandhi Jayanti meant it was a dry day and we were not served the complimentary beer, but mocktails instead. The order consisted of the following: Pina Colada and Fruit Punch as the drinks, Kasundi Marinated Sole and King Prawns w/a blend of spices being the starters, Lamb Korma and Kerala style Fish Curry for the main course. The dessert consisted of Chocolate Pave and Dhoda style Brownie w/Cinnamon Ice Cream.<br/><br/>The food was delicious, with the Kasundi Marinated Sole extremely tender and tasting divine with the avocado tartare. The main course was equally good, if not better. I personally liked the fish curry, with a subtle and balanced flavour of coconut. However, both the lamb and fish had the same colour and at times it was difficult to differentiate between them in the dark lighting.<br/><br/>We were also given palate cleansers before and after the start of a particular course, which I really enjoyed. The liquid paan mouth freshner was an equally unique and innovative concept.<br/><br/>However, the service was slow and extremely poor. Our second round of rotis took 20 minutes to arrive. The servers were running helter-skelter and not really attending to our calls. I personally didn't want to pay the service charge at the end of the meal, because every customer has to be treated equally. Service gets a big fat ZERO for me.<br/><br/>I may return here for another visit, but it will be solely because of the food and perhaps in another setting similar to the "Restaurant Week". Otherwise, it may not be worth your while to visit here.

Usually I expect non- spicy food at five stars but they were really really good. <br/><br/>Also the restaurant have few elite guests only, fare enough to give you five star experience. <br/><br/>10 on 10 for staff and service.

When you enter this place it feels like a club. It's too dark for a fine dining restaurant. I was there for a family dinner. The chicken tikka and paneer starter were good. Two others were avoidable. The main course was however much better than the starters . Dessert should totally be avoided. The service is also average. Even then I wouldn't mind going again if need be.

The restaurant offers choice between Classic Indian as well as Avant Garde (Indian fusion). Some of my favourite are Lamb Galawat and Garam Masala Chicken. Even the main course is also very well prepared my picks would be Lamb korma from classic and Goat Cheese & Cilantro stuffed.

They have a set menu with both vegetarian and Non vegetarian option which includes one starter out of 2 choices, 1 main course dish out of 2, 1 Dal, 1 seasonal vegetable, 1 dessert , Choice of bread/pilaf.<br/><br/>I opted for the Non veg buffet. for starters they had fish and chicken, for main course they had chicken and mutton and for desserts they had choice of Indian as well as continental ones.

This place has envisaged the fusion between Indian and French. Everything here is excellent form of art and takes a person across an amazing epicure odyessy. The starters are beaut. A delicious extravaganza of an affair. Try their sea food, strudel and Thandai panna cotta. Perfect and delicious.

This time I had to explore Eau De Monsoon which is the most calm and silent in house restaurant of Le Meridien,New Delhi.The ambience and atmosphere is very calm here unlike other restaurants in the vicinity.This is a fusion based resto with all their dishes being fusions between different cultures or cusines.The welcome drink Cauliflower Cappuccino sets the right taste to welcome the food.In veg staters we tried Hazelnut Nougat Stuffed Paneer Morsels,Jalepeno Murabaa,Cumin Puff and the Paneer had a different blend here with a correct fusion of northern Indian paneer with italian hazelnut.Garam masala infused chicken shorba, Chicken tikka kurkuri was my pick in non veg starters which was satisfactory and had the perfect blend of spices.After this they served Lichi Shorbe as Palate Cleanser.The Butter Chicken was really nice and upto the mark.It was soft,not sweet sort of spicy and tasty on the other hand there signature non veg main course Lamb Curry was sort of much of spicy.Dal Makhani was very well cooked for around 24-36 hous and did justice to its north Indian roots.The limelight of the veg main course was Strudel which is Puff pastry enclosed corn & mushroom bhaji, tomato couscous and and saffron korma jus served with Jeera Basmati Rice.The breads were a bit more of oily and hard.I didn't tried the dessert as I was fill completely and left it for the next time.<br/>

I visited this place with a friend for a buffet. Let me tell you it’s fancy and worth trying. The complementary drink Mushroom cappuccino shot was bliss, it was new on the menu. Then I ordered hazelnut filled paneer in starters and it was juicy and could taste the rich flavours of hazelnut. The main course had potato filled chicken and rice which was the binge for the day. The meal ended by desserts and I ordered carrot halwa with cinnamon ice cream and it was sweet but yet not too sweet.

I had been to the restaurant with my family during the Restaurant of Week of India on 22nd April, 2018. It was an amazing experience with very good food, courteous staff, excellent service. The menu was quite attractive and to top it host of complimentary palate cleansers were served. For the starters we ordered grilled sole fish, king prawns and crabs. King prawns were really good in size and delicious, sole fish was well marinated and tasted good but it should have been little more juicy, crab dish was also good. In main course we ordered a lamb dish, a chicken dish and one sea bass in signature dish. Lamb and chicken dishes were excellent and the quantity was good for single person. The breads were hot and real crispy. In desserts, all were in combination of two or three desserts in one and tastes really good. <br/><br/>Besides the menu, host of complimentary like cauliflower cappuccino, litchi sorbet, liquid paan etc were served in between each meal .

Well Maintained and high class place. There are many big events which has happened here. Set on the upper ground floor Monsoon offer a delightful ambiance within the hotel and yet when inside you feel in a different place altogether. The first time we ate at Monsoon was due to being late in the evening and we wanted a smallish Indian meal.<br/><br/>Monsoon was suggested and proved great. Decent helpings and nice extra touches on the house both before and after the meal.. Good variety on the main menu but it is the quality of food that I wish to draw the attention of reader to.... Waiters took special care on my dietary requirements and the chef delivered well!<br/><br/>As a guest at Le Meridien or visitors form outside ... you should expect a great dinning experience at Monsoon...

I always like going to Monsoon for it's nice ambience and outstanding food. My personal recommendation is 'Gucchi Matar' in the main course. They make it very nice! I generally rate a premium restaurant on the quality of Dal Makhani they prepare as this is usually my standard order when dining at an Indian restaurant. I generally feel, if the chef can make a very nice Dal Makhani, they can make everything so good. The Dal Makhani at Monsoon is as good, if not better, as some of the best I have had in Delhi. The quality of breads served is also very nice - crispy, soft and fresh. Desserts are among the finest I have had here! In terms of service, as one would expect, they never let you down. Overall, I would rate Monsoon among the finest Fine Dine Restaurants in Delhi. It is a great place to have a peaceful dinner with your family or friends and have good time chatting over food. They have never given me a reason to complain so far and I hope they are able to maintain it that way! Most recommended!

Eau De Monsoon has a beautiful water fall glass wall with a comparatively good ambience, good service and I think some food item was good while others could be much better, this one is just another good restaurant.

I don't normally write reviews anymore, but this was so perfect that I had too! The ambience,the service and of course the food were perfect. The bharwa paneer is a must try. The litchi sorbet, served as a palate cleanser between courses was however my fav! This is one of the few restaurants in hotels, that actually serve good food!

Went here during the Restaurant Week today and the food here, in absolute terms, was average to good. Considering the prices, though, it seems way overpriced even for Restaurant Week. The 3.0 rating is me being really generous.<br/>Starting with amuse -bouche, cauliflower cappuccino. It was delicious and made me hopeful for the rest of the meal.<br/><br/>For starters, we had<br/>1. Deconstructed Samosa : Boiled potato with light fried thin crisps. Maybe it would have tasted better if it had not been "deconstructed" to random bland nothingness. It was like a bland gol gappa, without the tanginess of the water.<br/>2. Hazelnut noughat stuffed paneer morsels with jalapeño murraba, cumin puff: Lol!! 4 pieces of a regular paneer tikka. I just read the description on Zomato to realise that I didn't appreciate any hazelnut noughat, jalapeño or cumin puff.<br/>3. Textures of Soya : Again, 4 pieces of very average tasting soya kebab. The rest of the things mentioned on the menu like "orange marmalade" are literally just for plate decoration and one might even miss them if they weren't mentioned beforehand.<br/>4. Mushrooms: Tasted pretty good and was the best of all appetisers, but mostly cause others were pretty bad.<br/><br/>Main course<br/>1. Olive Naan and Garlic naan (included in RWI): Average tasting naan<br/>2. Bharwan Paneer: My favourite dish of the meal, basically paneer stuffed with nuts.<br/>3. Stir fried vegetables: Boiled vegetables in super oily tomato gravy. Absolutely hated this dish. My cousins couldn't even finish it.<br/>4. Mushroom Strudel: A regular mushroom puff like a patty, tasty but nothing new. It was served with steamed quinoa and those I really loved. If they had that as a separate item, maybe my experience could be salvaged.<br/>5. Utthapam stack: A 'stack' of 3, hilariously small in quantity served with a teaspoon of sambhar. But good in taste.<br/><br/>Desserts,<br/>1. Chocolate Pave: Average kulfi and the chocolate was okay. Not bad at all, but nothing exceptional.<br/>2. Masala​ chai ice cream and Carrot Halwa: Carrot Halwa was a regular halwa. Masala chai ice cream was better. They mention watermelon something soemthing on the menu, and that was just a very very thin layer of plating streaks. I would have missed it if my cousins hadn't pointed it out.<br/>3. Gulab Jamun: Ok gulab jamun. Terrible saffron pudding and tasteless rose kheer.<br/><br/>At the end we were served a pan flavoured drink​ and a chocolate, i thought it was too strong, but other people enjoyed it. Chocolate was heavenly.<br/><br/>A lot of the things they mention on their menu are actually just trinkets and decorations, the real food is actually very bland and boring.<br/>Would not recommend it to anyone at all.

I would recommend monsoon restaurant in the hotel le Meridien for those who are looking for some peaceful and relaxing time along with the superb food, with good host. It was very easy with server JP, where you don't have to get confused while ordering food, as he already knew what I would love to eat at the moment with the perfect match of wine as his recommendation of chicken tikka and lamb galawat<br/> following the main course with paneer dish and chicken curry, was a memorable experience for me and my gang. Eau de monsoon is a fine dining restaurant on the ground floor of le meridian hotel.The interiors of the restaurant are beautiful,they have big glass windows giving you a good view of the outside.The cuisine is North Indian.<br/><br/>We started with complimentary mushroom cappuccino shots.Shots were good,it was thick mushroom soup.If you love mushrooms you will like it otherwise don't even try.<br/><br/>In main course we had bharwan paneer in fenugreek infused tomato sauce and cilantro pesto.It was delicious,paneer was In a form of roulade with lots of dry fruits/cashews.The gravy was rich and creamy with a perfect blend of spices.It was impeccable.In breads we had olive naan,garlic naan and tomato bocconcini kulcha.Naans were too good,olive naan was just amazing with olives on the top.However kulcha really stood out among all the breads.It had a good filling of bocconcini cheese.Cheese was of utmost quality and was melting in mouth.The best cheese kulcha I have ever had.<br/><br/>We ended our meal with white chocolate.It was delicious.<br/><br/>The quantity of the dishes were appropriate for two.The staff was very welcoming and courteous.The service was also good.The food is undoubtedly great.

Missed the WOW factor for sure. Went there for lunch only to find two people in the entire restaurant. Service was average (neither good nor bad). Food, though priced on the higher side, was definitely lip smacking. Ordered dosa starter dish followed by paneer and chilli paratha & kulcha. Each of them tasted really good. Ambience was a little lull maybe dinners are more vibrant. Whether I would want to return is a 50-50 chance.

Imagine yourself in a picturesque restaurant with water flowing on one side, overlooking a beautiful garden. You'll definitely like the ambience. <br/>Next is the food. Have you ever thought about cauliflower cappuccino? Yes that was the welcome drink and was amazing. I ordered Bharwaa paneer and stuff nan for main course and unlike my expectations they were spicy. Usually I expect non- spicy food at five stars but they were really really good. <br/>Also the restaurant have few elite guests only, fare enough to give you five star experience. <br/>10 on 10 for staff and service.

Great concept, lovely food... but disappointing service<br/><br/>Food<br/>We tried an all starter meal followed by only Britain as the main course. Pretty impressed with the dishes and the way the chef had balanced the flavours while building on his interpretation of the original recipes<br/>We tried prawn, fish, lamb burrah and the chapali kebab version of theirs... To give it due, each and every element was a winner and it will be difficult to rate one over the other. But still on a personal front both the lamb preparations were simply divine. We ended with their lamb biryani... a masterpiece and must have. Hats off to the chef and his team for the out of the world preparation <br/>Food... 4.5/5<br/><br/>Service <br/>From the word go, the staff looked hassled, confused and unable to handle the service. With barely 50% of the restaurant occupancy and being a hotel of repute I expected much better. <br/>The welcome drink came in after the beer had been served... 5 of us ordered beer and 4 beer get served and then they scramble to get the forgotten one. To build on we ordered the starters and had requested some semblance in serving in line with the way we wanted it to be delivered. It went all over... small things like onion and chutney and midway into the process and after some multiple reminders. I just felt that the service levels - or the lack of it- completely took away from the great food that was being dished out <br/>Service... 3/5<br/><br/>I would still prefer to go back only because the place serves excellent food and hoping that the next time around there is a marked difference in their service approach.

I went there for a sunday lunch. The place has an oomph factor to it and is really chick and the ambience is great. The water drizzling down the glass pane has an amazing look.<br/>The food is great. We tried dal makhani, barwan paneer in fenugreek and veg biryani along with breads.<br/>Paneer filled in a potato was really amazing and the dal makhani was a delite. Biryani was well cooked. In breads mushroom nan was amazing.<br/>Talking about the service, we felt that the service was on clumsy and slow side. The server will serving biryani was very clumsy, while trying to open the roti top of the biryani, the roti top and the basmati fell from his hand. The sweeper cleaned the floor after a while which was not expected atleast the mess should have been cleared quickly.<br/>I would say that the service was not upto the mark.

Located at the lobby level, the restaurant done up in muted shades of browns and greys, which could be depressing during the day but did very well in the dim lighting of night. Our table was located next to the long glass windows overlooking Janpath and the green façade of the hotel, and the view was very pleasing to the eye.<br/>The service was perfect, always attentive, never obtrusive.<br/>The amuse-bouche was a shot of lovely cauliflower cappuccino which went down very well indeed and whet our appetites for things to come. The breads, a garlic naan (outstanding) and olive naan (innovative and very tasty). Desserts were definitely the stars of the meal. My personal favourite was a divine Gulab jamun malai cheese cake, Chandan (sandalwood) ice cream, Red fruit compote. The Chocolate pave, kulfi, pistachio snow, berry compote also provided a sweet surprise after the disappointments of the previous courses. <br/>The meal ended with a shot of liquid paan which was absolutely brilliant in recreating the taste and texture of a regular paan and a piece of silky smooth chocolate.

This place is a delight for anyone who loves Indian food with a twist. My grandfather is a regular at Eau de Monsoon but I've been to this place only twice. The first time I went I was a little let down, it took me nearly a year to come back and I am not disappointed. The restaurant lived upto my expectations and hence I decided to review it. Though being the only vegetarian made me try only two dishes, the corn and spinach kabab which were packed with flavour and come with an orange and cucumber salad which was super refreshing and the dal makhni, which was really good too. The others had the chicken tikka duo, king prawns and the coriander chicken, everyone loved the coriander hi men the most and the other dishes looked great too. <br/>The service is prompt. For the best recommendations make sure you ask for Rohit Tiwari. He gave us the best recommendations. My mocktails was perfect, he recommended I try the monsoon special and I was very happy. We were also served a shot of mushroom cream in the beginning, followed by a palette neutraliser before desserts and a piece of chocolate with a pan shot was served at the end of our meal. <br/>Loved the hospitality and the ambience. Food was the cherry on the cake. Super impressed coming back for more soon.

Ambience of the restaurant is not what you expect from a 5 star hotel like Le Meridien. Restaurant of this hotel in not lavishing as compared to other 5 star hotels like hotel taj palace, jaypee, holiday inn, etc.<br/><br/>Food is just average. It's not spicy. They don't even serve papad, pickles and salad. They have less variety of items for vegetarians.<br/><br/>Overall the interior and ambience of the hotel is excellent.

Loved the ambience!! It's very nicely done, dim lights, classy interiors. The hospitality is nice with a courteous staff. <br/>In food we ordered paneer in banana leaf, it was very bland with no flavours at all. May be as per my palette, but I dint like it at all. The dal makhani was the best had so far with perfect flavours and aromas. And the combination with stuffed kulchas and butter naan which were too good , was icing on the cake!!

The service is swift and staff courteous.<br/>The menu is a perfect concoction of Indian flavours, international techniques and artistic presentation. <br/>The meal starts with a cauliflower cappuccino which consists of strong creamy cauliflower flavour balanced with light tangy lime infused water and prepares your palate for the sumptuous meal ahead. The appetisers are modern interpretation of authentic Indian flavours. Escalopes of lamb mince with sweet chilli and cilantro pesto is to die for. The fusion of traditional minced lamb meat with modern sweet chilli and cilantro pesto, leaves you wanting more. Marinated sole is cooked to perfection and chicken tikka with khasta roti meets all expectations. The appetisers are followed by a blueberry sorbet to cleanse your palate, which is not up to the mark due to lack of flavours and uneven consistency. <br/>The main courses are well thought out with sumptuous quantities of well balanced ingredients. Lamb in Jaisalmeri chilli gravy is a must have. Sea bass in Madras curry is a perfect balance of well cooked bass and authentic south Indian flavours.<br/>The pre dessert is a orange consommé, which is lightly sweetened to activate your sweet buds. The desserts did not fail to meet the high standards set by the other courses. The pineapple jalebi with creme brulee ice cream and gulab jamun malai cheesecake with chandan ice cream are divine. The hero of the dessert is perfectly supported by the accompaniments which add a myriad of textures and depth to the taste.<br/>Each course, cooked and presented to perfection, leaves you hungry for more. Simple ambience with lavish food to satiate all your cravings!

Amazing hospitality and food. We went for dinner during rwi week , the experience was overwhelming. Options set in the menu are different and fusion of indian and continental. We ordered chicken tikka, prawns and mushroom dish for starters, portion size was ample , well cooked succulent chicken. For main course we went for stir fry veggies, lamb curry , paneer dish and 1 of their signature dish. Not to miss the olive naan, assorted breads and by far the best garlic naan i have had.<br/><br/>The chef prepared everything with patience and the same we could judge while having each bite in our mouths, now comes the desserts.. OMG they were stupendous, esp their fusion of gulabjamun and cake dessert... kulfi, dark chocolate accompaniment .. so much more.... We had problems in moving after having so much.<br/><br/>Nutshell we had an amazing meal, with the server taking extreme care of us. Thanks and hoping to visit you guys soon....

Another gem of Le Meridien it serving a great buffet spread to relish upon. Being rich on the ambience aspect, the food too had some really delectable items like mutton burrah and chicken with cilantro. In the desserts I really loved the jalebis. Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon for business lunch. The ambience of the place was good & so was the hospitality of the staff. In snacks the broccoli was Osm so was the wrapped paneer. The main course too was delicious. The food was very light yet so filling. The Bharwa paneer was the pick of the dishes. Overall it was a Fantastic place with Osm food.

In this hushed yet theatrical dining room, the chef takes the whole farm-to-table movement, imbues it with a bit of Continental savoir-faire, and, like an alchemist, comes out with the quintessential high end Delhi restaurant. Indeed, the sense of place here comes not just from the locally grown and produced ingredients, but from the chef's knowing nod to Delhi's multicultural culinary history. Pristine carrots, for example, get turned into a lightly whimsical take on steak tartare; sturgeon (brought to the table under a smoke-filled cloche) is served with the restaurant’s take on an everything bagel. Excellent service — graceful, attentive, modern — adds to the sense of supreme well-being. <br/><br/>A shallow bowl held what appeared to be a slice of plum tomato. Only it was more of a rumination on tomato: a pure-of-flavor tomato mousse covered with a basil scented tomato puree shaped to resemble a cross-section of the fruit, with tomato seeds, croutons, and pickled shallots scattered on top. Right after it, a tin appeared. The geometric patterns on its lid echoed the dining room’s stately Art Deco decor. It contained poached quail egg, bacon gelee, bits of ham, and corn puree resembling hollandaise; all together, they evoked eggs Benedict. A side of miniature English muffins drove home the theme. A generous spoonful of caviar sent it heavenward (Pictured). Millefeuille of Sole with Mint Chutney and Tamarind Glaze is interesting. The Corn-fed Chicken and Root Vegetable Broth are bland and have no discernible flavour. Duck Breast Cha Tea Smoked (Pictured) is one of the highlights of the menu, though the jury is still out on whether polenta constitutes an Indian ingredient! Soan Papdi has never looked as good as it does in Pistachio Kulfi and Coconut Bavarois with Soan Papri Crush.<br/><br/>What most defines Delhi's food culture? It isn’t stirring topography or regional specialties with roots in the Middle Ages. It’s the assimilated immigrant foods, most recognizably the American deli classics and Sino-Indian comforts. It makes sense, for the global audience Eau De Monsoon seeks, that black-and-white cookies re-imagined with cheddar and apple may start a meal, or that variations on pastrami or tomato-basil salad or cheesecake occasionally show up in the repertoire. Perhaps the restaurant’s most identifiable big city trait is its willingness to adapt in order to stay on top. perfect ambience with average food served in style. shorba and biryani was a let down. innovative liquid paan gets a thumbs down. Food quality with respect to luxury dining requires a makeover big time. a 4.5/5 for service.

Got a chance to visit this place through Restaurant India Week. And I must say that the food was absolutely delicious. To be very honest, I don't remember the name of the dishes now as it has been more than 2 months now, but everything tasted awesome. This place is highly recommended. <br/><br/>Thank you team for your awesome food, wonderful drinks and amazing desserts. :)

Eau De Monsoon is an in-house restaurant of Le Meridian. It’s a chic and peaceful fine-dining place. Running streams of water at the entrance of the restaurant bring the theme of monsoon alive. I liked the contemporary but comfortable sitting arrangements and interiors. It was dimly lit with soft music playing in background, with excellent positive atmosphere.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>They served us a welcome drink that we were supposed to drink in one shot, it had layers of flavors and tasted WOW. Eau De Monsoon has a limited but very selected menu for each cuisine. There were around 12 starters (both veg and non-vegetarian) and 12 main course dishes. But this is the place, if you are looking for lip smacking, avant grade Indian dishes, which speaks volume for this place’s dining experience and the art of fine Indian cuisine , prepared by the leading chefs of India, in this restaurant.<br/><br/>The Team FCBA is not going to recommend any particular dish, in this restaurant, because each dish is a master piece in itself. Although we tried many dishes in continental; French and Indian cuisines but there are still many left, for us to explore magical food journey. Dear readers, you put finger at any dish, in the menu, even blindfolded, the randomly selected dish will never let you down , in terms taste; quantity; authentic preparation; presentation and service. Did not live up to the hype. The food is on the spicier side for my taste (we had the contemporary menu). All's not bad though...<br/>Crab millefeuille had good flavour though the prawn with it tasted of uncooked chili.<br/>Seabass tasted good but the accompanying veg was underwhelming. For a restaurant of this calibre and the prices you pay for the entrees, you would not expect canned artichoke - straight out of the can (or bottle). If you are unable to get fresh, don't have it on the menu. Madras curry sauce with sea bass was mediocre.<br/>Chicken was moist but chewy. Potato pave had too much cumin. Makhani sauce was nice but on the spicier side. Zucchini ribbons was just one meagre strip of Zucchini rolled around an asparagus.<br/>Desserts are interesting to read but the one we tried fell short. The berry compote comes as a meager drizzle of berry sauce. Sandlewood ice cream was great but was bought in - not that it is wrong..... Gulabjamun cheesecake was underwhelming.<br/>At Rs. 7800+ for 2 persons, overpriced for 2 drinks, 1 appy, 2 entrees and one dessert.<br/>

A wonderful experience while visiting for a family dinner. One of the good things was that we were able to find a table without having made reservations. They welcomed us with wet towels which was a refreshing change from the norm. The restaurant had good ambience & nice music playing in the background which made for quite a soothing experience.<br/>They were able to make couple of dishes not on the menu in the style we preferred which was a very pleasant thing & I must admit it added to the overall awesomeness of the evening. The quality & quantity of food was quite good & I appreciate the efforts put in by the helpful & courteous members of the staff.<br/>A very good place to go to if you're looking to have a nice quiet evening with your loved ones. <br/>Keep up the good work guys!!

Eau De Monsoon is in- house restaurant of Le meridian Hotel and serves European, French, Continental and INDIAN Food<br/><br/>It's a nice fine-dining place with comfortable sitting and impressive interior… one thing I don't like is very dim light. <br/><br/>They served us a welcome drink and it was refreshing … we ordered <br/><br/>Tandoori Sole Fish – That fish was amazing … even while writing I am drooling.<br/><br/>Chicken Tikka Duo - Chicken was good too … flavorful and juicy <br/><br/>Black lentil – little disappointed with this … bland and nothing exciting <br/><br/>Fenugreek <br/><br/>Chicken Curry – I find it little thicker than a regular curry but the taste was good … liked it <br/><br/>Vegetable Dum-Biryani – I can say … layers of flavors served with Raita. Yummy <br/> <br/><br/>Overall I liked the flavors …Service staff is humble and attentive. I am definitely going back to try other cuisines.

The hospitality if this place of its own kind.In no other 5 star dining would be a better option than monsoon.Food is really tasty butter-chicken,muttonroganjosh ,Biryani,Dal makhani which is served as a side in the restaurant.Chicken tikka is really yummy.The chef can make spinach rolls so tasty which is really a task,the rolls were tender,flavour and aroma mouthwatering.The complementary pan shot and chocolates served in the end are just too good.
